Abstract

This research is based on the idea that there is a difference between customers’ perception of the traditional market and modern market on location elements and price elements. The purpose of this research is to determine the perception of customers who shop or visit the Simpang Limun market and Supermarket Brastagi Medan. Teori used to analyze these problems about customer perception, location, and price. This research method is qualitative and this research intends to describe and interpret a condition. The results of the research obtained were differences between customers’ perception of the location in the Simpang Limun Market and in the Supermarket Brastagi Medan. Also the difference between customers’ perception of prices in the Simpang Limun Market and costumers in the Supermarket Brastagi Medan. Based on the results of the research has been explained, the researcher concluded that the lack of maintenance of the environment makes customers’ perception in the Simpang Limun Market far different from customers in the Supermarket Brastagi Medan and very competitive prices between Simpang Limun Market with Supermarket Brastagi Medan. Advice that can be submitted to the government is to make improvements of the location in the Simpang Limun market so that the creation of customer satisfaction and customer loyalty and for Supermarket Brastagi is to maintain and improve the quality of service based on the elements of location and price so that customers don’t move to the supermarket or other traditional markets.

Abstract

One of the Strategies that the Company can do in order to survive in competition is to increase service quality. Moreover, to get a positive image of its product, the company should increase its image, which would increase sales. This research aimed to test whether service quality and corporate image affect customer loyalty. The type of research used is associative. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 147 customers with a random sampling method. The research used, multiple linear regression analysis, and teohilever. The results showed that partial service quality has a significant influence on customer purchases in PT. Pokhphand, while the price has not had a significant influence on customer loyalty in PT. Pokhphand Jaya Farm. Simultan early, Service quality and company image significantly affect customer loyalty. Therefore the company should aggressively improve the Service Quality and approach my wards’ customers to find out whether the company image will increase customer loyalty in PT. Pokhphand Jaya Farm.

Abstract

This research was done by the social science faculty at Universitas Panca Budi Medan with the aim of research to know the influence of service quality and learning quality toward student satisfaction moderated by education cost. The type of research used was qualitative research. The study population was regular and executive students in the social science faculty of Universitas Panca Budi Medan as many as 2,580 students in 2018. Sampling using random sampling with a sample size of 100 respondents. Sources of data using primary data with data retrieval were surveyed. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression, MRA (Moderating Regression Analysis) analysis, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test. Based on the results of the research conducted, it could be shown that the quality of service and the quality of learning partially significantly affected student satisfaction in a study on the social science faculty in Universitas Panca Budi Medan. The quality of service and the quality of learning simultaneously have a significant effect on the students' satisfaction of study on the social science faculty in Universitas Panca Budi Medan. The quality of service and quality of learning has a moderate relationship with student satisfaction in the faculty of social science of Panca Budi University Medan. Meanwhile, the satisfaction of students of the social science faculty could be explained by the quality of service and the quality of learning in Universitas Panca Budi Medan 23.2% and the rest 76.8% by others variables that did not examine.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work exhaustion, depersonalization, and decreased employee work performance partially and simultaneously toward employee performance. This type of research used an associative, the population was employees who worked in the company as many as 157 people, and sampling randomly so the number of research samples used was 100 respondents. Data sources are primary data and data collection techniques namely questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the research conducted, it could be concluded that simultaneously work exhaustion, depersonalization and work performance have significantly affected employee performance in PT. Bank Sumut Cabang Medan. While work exhaustion and depersonalization partially have significantly affected employee performance, employee performance has no significant effect on employee performance in PT. Bank Sumut Cabang Medan. Job exhaustion, depersonalization, and work performance have a very strong relationship with performance. An adjusted R2 value of 0.786 means the performance of employees in PT. Bank Sumut Cabang Medan able to be explained by work exhaustion, depersonalization, and work performance amount of 78.60%, and the other 21.4% could be explained by other variables not examined

Abstract

This study aims to determine career development, compensation, and work motivation to moderate the influence of career development and compensation on job satisfaction at the Honda Arista Medan. The sample used in this study was 113 employees service at the Honda Arista Medan using saturated samples. The analysis technique used in this research is the Interaction Test (Moderated Regression Analysis). The results of this study indicate that career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at Honda Arista Medan. Compensation positively and significantly affects job satisfaction at the Honda Arista Medan. Work motivation that moderates career development has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at Honda Arista Medan. And work motivation that moderates compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at Honda Arista Medan. The value of Adjusted R Square is 0.540. This means that 54.0% of the variation in job satisfaction scores can be influenced by the role of career development and compensation. So it can be concluded that the influence of career development and compensation can affect job satisfaction by 54.0% and the remaining 46.0% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The research was done at Zara and H&M customers in the famous shopping mall in Medan. The purpose of this research was to know the influence given by Shopping Life Style and Fashion involvement on Impulse Buying Behavior in consumer buying activity. The type of research used was associated with the study population which was consumers who visited Sun Plaza Medan with an estimated 950 people per day except for Saturday and Sunday. The sampling was a random sample with the Slovin formula so the number of samples was 91 respondents. Sources of research data that was primary data with data collection technique that was survey and observation. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test. Based on the results of the research conducted, it could be submitted that partially and simultaneously Shopping lifestyle and Fashion involvement significantly influenced impulsing buying behavior study at ZARA and H & M consumers in Sun Plaza Medan. Shopping lifestyle and Fashion involvement have a very strong relationship with impulsing buying behavior. Impulsing buying behavior could be explained by Shopping lifestyle and Fashion involvement equal to 80,6% and the other equal to 19,4% could be explained by another variable which not examined.

Abstract

Untuk mencapai pretensi organisasi, perlu memiliki penempatan kumpulan yang berlaku untuk setiap divisi atau departemen dalam suatu organisasi. Dengan penempatan yang tepat, kepuasan kerja yang tinggi akan tercapai. Selain itu perusahaan harus memperioritaskan Kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja karyawan agar kepuasan kerja karyawan meningkat dan tujuan organisasipun dapat berjalan sessuai dengan yang di harapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini merupakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesehatan dan keselamtan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja berdasarkan persepsi karyawan. Dimana populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 dan penarikan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh sehingga dihasilkan sampel berjumlah 100. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner. Data diuji dengan uji validitas dan reliabilitas dan data harus memenuhi unsur syarat uji asumsi klasik. Uji analisa data dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja yang mampu meningkatkan kepuasan kerja sebeasr 45,80 % PT.APJA Deli Serdang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the influence of the attractive website design on customer perception, (2) the influence of ease of information on customer perception, (3) the influence of the attractive website design on online purchasing decisions, (4) the influence of ease of information on online purchasing decision, (5) the influence of customer perception on the online purchasing decision. The population of this study is the customer of Kyou Hobby Shop in Medan. The number of samples taken in this study was 101 respondents. As a suggestion that can be put forward, that is in kyou.id to maintain the attractiveness of website design starting from the aspect of visual attractiveness and layout design that combines color combinations must be more creative and attractive that will make consumers not feel bored to access kyou.id for a long time.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Indian ethnic work ethic on job satisfaction, to determine the indirect effect of Indian ethnic work ethic through job satisfaction on organizational commitment and to determine the effect of Indian ethnic work ethic directly on organizational commitment. This type of research is associative research. The population in this study is the number of employees of the Medan Gursiwara Mission, amounting to 100 people and the sample used in this study is 100 people using boring samples. Data analysis technique in this research is path analysis. The results showed that the ethnic work ethic of India had a significant and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Job satisfaction does not significantly influence organizational commitment. There is no direct effect between Indian ethnic work ethics on organizational commitment through employee job satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transactional and transformational leadership styles on the performance of employees of PT. Build Mitra Abadi Medan either partially or simultaneously. To find out whether organizational commitment moderates the effect of transactional leadership styles and transformational leadership styles on employee performance at PT. Build Mitra Abadi Medan. The population in this study amounted to 163 people and using the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 116 people. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and MRA residual techniques. The results showed that the transactional leadership style had a significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT. Build Mitra Abadi Medan. Transformational leadership style affects employee performance at PT. Build Mitra Abadi Medan. Organizational commitment has been shown to be significant in moderating transactional leadership styles on employee performance and organizational commitment has been proven significant in moderating transformational leadership styles on employee performance.
