Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of punishment on work discipline, the effect of supervision on work discipline, length of work on work discipline. The population in this study were 163 non-permanent teachers and permanent teachers at the Medan Raksana Education Foundation, and the sample taken was 116 using the Slovin formula. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that punishment does not have a significant effect on work discipline, supervision has a significant effect on work discipline, length of work as a control variable has a significant effect on the punishment variable and supervision on work discipline.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan buat mengidentifikasi Pengaruh Beban Kerja Terhadap Semangat Kerja Dengan Kompetensi Sebagai Variabel Intervening Riset Pada BPS Kota Medan. Kategori studi ini menggunakan studi kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dicoba dengan menggunakan kuesioner, sampel studi ini sebanyak 100 responden. Tata metode pengambilan sampel diperoleh dengan menggunakan rumus sampel jenuh sebagai perhitungannya. Pengukuran variabel dengan cara menggunakan skala likert). Analisa data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, Path analysis, Regresi linier berganda, uji asumsi klasik, uji model (F), uji parsial (T), dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil riset ini meyakinkan apabila beban kerja tidak pengaruhi langsung dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi. Beban kerja pengaruhi langsung dan signifikan dengan semangat kerja, Kompetensi pengaruhi langsung dan signifikan dengan semangat kerja, serta Beban kerja terhadap semangat kerja dengan kompetensi tidak pengaruhi langsung signifikan pada BPS Kota Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the quality of human resources, work placement and work supervision together as forming the work productivity of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Binjai either partially or simultaneously. The population used in this study were employees who worked at PT. PLN (Persero) Up.3.Binjai as many as 125 people, and the sample is 125 respondents using a census sample. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis The results showed that the quality of human resources as a shaper of employee productivity at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Binjai, work placement as a form of employee productivity at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Binjai, supervision is not a form of employee productivity at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Binjai, simultaneously the quality of human resources, work placement and supervision together as a form of employee productivity at PT. PLN (Persero) UP 3 Binjai. Suggestions in this study are in the future, leaders should implement a supervisory system that is carried out systematically and suddenly so that later it can be known to what extent employees can work productively or not. Thus, the leadership can take the attitudes and actions needed to make the necessary improvements.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze employee performance by using the variables of leadership style and self efficacy. This research was conducted at a motor vehicle distributor company in the city of Medan. The sample of this study was 123 people. This research is a survey research using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Structure Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that leadership style and self-efficacy are variables that have a significant impact on employee performance. Self Efficacy is the most dominant variable affecting employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV (Persero) Medan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan beban kerja dan burnout terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dimediasi oleh stres kerja. Populasi adalah karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan sebanyak 451 karyawan, pengambilan sampel dengan rumus Slovin sehingga jumlah sampel sebanyak 212 responden. Sumber data digunakan adalah data primer dan teknik pengumpulan data adalah survei dengan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunkan analisis jalur, uji kualitas data, uji asumsi klasik, uji kelayakan model. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disampaikan bahwa beban kerja dan burnout secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap stres kerja karyawan, beban kerja dan burnout secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan stres kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadpa kinerja karyawan. Stres kerja tidak memediasi pengaruh beban kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, stres kerja tidak memediasi pengaruh burnout terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of moral loyalty on product loyalty of Converse shoes, the effect of brand benefits on product loyalty of Converse shoes, to determine whether the brand association moderates the relationship between moral loyalty and product loyalty of Converse shoes and to determine whether the brand association moderates the relationship between brand benefits and product loyalty. Converse shoes. The population in this study were 112 students of the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Harapan Medan who used Converse brand shoes and all of them were sampled in this study. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression and moderated regressions analysis. The results showed that moral loyalty did not have a significant effect on product loyalty from Converse shoes, brand benefits had a positive effect on product loyalty from Converse shoes, brand association moderated the relationship between moral loyalty and brand loyalty Converse shoes, The brand association moderates the relationship between brand benefits and product loyalty for Converse shoes.

Abstract

One of the roles of human resource management is to maintain and improve employee performance. The purpose of this study is to find out whether intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence affect employee performance through professionalism as an intervening variable. The population in this study was PDAM Tirtanadi North Sumatra employees who had worked for more than 5 years, with a total research sample of 105 employees. This type of research is associative research with a quantitative approach. The results showed that intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence had a positive and significant effect on the performance of PDAM Tirtanadi employees in North Sumatra Province. There is a positive and significant influence of intellectual intelligence on professionalism, while emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on the performance of PDAM Tirtanadi North Sumatra Province, there is an influence of professionalism on employee performance of PDAM Tirtanadi North Sumatra Province, there is an influence of intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on employee performance through professionalism.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence organizational justice and organizational climate have on the intention to quit partially. To find out how much influence the moderation of organizational commitment can strengthen organizational justice and organizational climate Agathe inst intention to quit the North Sumatra Provincial Parliament Secretariat Office. The population in this study were contract employees of the Secretariat Office of North Sumatra Province, amounting to 103 people. The sample in this study were contract employees at the Secretariat of the North Sumatra Province DPRD, as many as 103 people using population research techniques. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression and MRA. The results showed that the organizational justice variable significantly affected the intention to quit. Organizational climate variables do not significantly inflate the intention to quit. Organizational commitment has the effect of strengthening the effect of organizational jujustice on intention to quit. Organizational commitment has the effect of strengthening the influence of organizational climate the on intention to quit.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine and analyze whether transformational leadership and quality of work life partially affect employee job satisfaction. To test and analyze whether transformational leadership, quality of work life, and job satisfaction partially influence organizational commitment. To test and analyze whether job satisfaction intervenes with transformational leadership and quality of work life on organizational commitment. The total population in this study was 100 people in the planning division, and all of them were taken as samples using saturated sampling. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that transformational leadership had no significant effect on organizational commitment, quality of work life had no significant effect on organizational commitment, job satisfaction had a significant effect on organizational commitment, transformational leadership had a significant effect on job satisfaction, quality of work life had a significant effect on job satisfaction. Then transformational leadership had a significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction and quality of work life had a significant effect on organizational commitment through job satisfaction, so this indicates an indirect effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perceptions of self-esteem and locus of control on employee performance through job satisfaction at PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. Path analysis research design is used as an analytical tool to determine the direction of the variables studied and to justify how significant the influence of the independent and dependent variables is either directly or indirectly through the mediating variable. In this study, the entire population sampled was 130 employees at PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. The results of this study indicate that the self-esteem variable has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Locus of control has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Self-esteem has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Locus of control has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction is able to mediate the effect of self-esteem on employee performance. Job satisfaction cannot mediate the locus of control effect on employee performance.
