Abstract

In this study, the Best Private Universities in Medan will be discussed with the TOPSIS method (Techniques for Other References with Similarities to Solutions). TOPSIS is one method of Decision Support Systems that is used to accept decisions that have many criteria. The general objective of this study is to use the TOPSIS method which is expected to be able to provide optimal results in determining the best universities. And specific targets of this study can provide estimates or indicators that can be used by Universities in Medan in determining whether the College is the best or not. The criteria used in this study were Institutional, Student Activities, Lecturer HR, Research and Community Service, and Innovation. In the future these criteria can be added according to the needs and requirements provided by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. By applying the TOPSIS Method to Decision Supporters in the selection of the Best Private Universities in Medan City can provide optimal results based on the criteria and weighting that has been determined.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of the study was to determine the effect yellow sweet potato flour (Ipomoea batatas L) and skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) addition on the nutritional and sensory values of biscuit products. This research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) method with various formulation treatments, namely K0 (100% wheat flour), K1 (75% yellow sweet potato flour: 5% fish meat: 20% wheat flour), K2 (70% yellow sweet potato flour: 10% fish meat: 20% wheat flour), K3 (65% yellow sweet potato flour: 15% fish meat: 20% wheat flour), and K4 (60% yellow sweet potato flour: 20% fish meat: 20% wheat flour). The data were analyzed using analysis of variance, with further testing using Duncan's multiple range test (DMRT) at a 95% confidence level. The results show that the K1 treatment was the most preferred treatment by the panelists with hedonic rating scores of color, aroma, taste, and texture reached 4.34 (like), 4.16 (like), 4.13 (like), and 4.09 (like), respectively. Nutritional value analysis of the selected K1 biscuit products shows that it contained 6.87% water, 2.83% ash, 26.17% fat, 6.58% protein, and 57.83% carbohydrates. The biscuit product with the addition of yellow sweet potato flour and skipjack fish meat met the national standard for fat and protein contents. Keyword: Biscuit, yellow sweet potato flour, skipjack meatABSTRAKPenelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan penambahan tepung ubi jalar kuning (Ipomoea batatas L) dan daging ikan cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) terhadap nilai gizi dan sensorik produk biskuit. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan berbagai perlakuan formulasi, yaitu K0 (Tepung terigu 100%), K1 (Tepung ubi jalar kuning 75% : daging ikan 5% : tepung terigu 20%), K2 (Tepung ubi jalar kuning 70% : daging ikan 10% : tepung terigu 20%), K3 (Tepung ubi jalar kuning 65% : daging ikan 15% : tepung terigu 20%), K4 (Tepung ubi jalar kuning 60% : daging ikan 20% : tepung terigu 20%). Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam (analysis of varian), dengan uji lanjut menggunakan duncan’s multiple range test (DMRT) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakukan K1 merupakan perlakuan yang paling disukai oleh panelis dengan skor penilain hedonik warna 4,34 (suka), aroma 4,16 (suka), rasa 4,13 (suka) dan tekstur 4,09 (suka). Analisis nilai gizi produk biskuit terpilih K1 meliputi kadar air (6,87),abu (2,83), lemak (26,17), protein (6,58) dan karbohidrat (57,83). Berdasarkan standar mutu SNI biskuit, bahwa produk biskuit penambahan tepung ubi jalar kuning dan daging ikan cakalang sudah memenuhi standar mutu SNI untuk kadar lemak dan kadar protein.Kata kunci: Biskuit,ubi jalar kuning, daging ikan cakalang lumat

Abstract

Investing in shares is now increasingly popular and growing rapidly in Indonesia. By investing in shares, investors will get quite fast and large profits in a fairly short time. Investors need to analyze previous stock movements as a form of investment strategy to get maximum investment results. Many techniques have been applied to predict stock prices, one of which uses techniques in Deep Learning such as Recurrent Neural Network. In this research, research was conducted on stock price predictions using the Recurrent Neural Network method with the Long-Short Term Memory (LSTM) approach on BBNI stock data. The research only uses close data or data about daily closing stock prices. In designing LSTM there are several things that are configured such as dropout size, density, activation function, and number of neurons used, and in the training process one of the optimizers provided by the Keras framework is used, namely the ADAM (Adaptive Moment Estimation) optimizer. The test scenario is carried out using a number of epochs of 10 and 20 with a batch size of 32. The test results will produce MAE and MAPE values, where the lower the MAE and MAPE values, the better the model's performance in making accurate predictions. The test results using epoch 10 got an MAE value of 0.0286 and a MAPE value of 0.0488, while the test results using epoch 20 got an MAE value of 0.0150 and a MAPE value of 0.0257.

Abstract

The form of participation from universities in this community service activity is to provide skills training in the field of information technology through the application of commercial packages and the internet to the community of young people in the Afetaria Tepi Kolam Bukit Lawang, Kec. Abstract

Peminatan merupakan suatu hal yang wajib dimiliki mahasiswa khususnya pada semester 5 program studi Teknik Informatika. Dengan menentukan peminatan seorang mahasiswa, maka mahasiswa dapat fokus pada bidang penguasaan ilmunya dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhirnya di kemudian hari. Terdapat 3 peminatan pada program studi Teknik Informatika yaitu Multimedia & Computer Vision, Jaringan Komputer & Sistem Informasi, Robotika dan Sistem Cerdas. mahasiswa harus memilih salah satu yang sesuai dengan kemampuan dan bakatnya. Tujuannya agar mahasiswa dapat fokus menyelesaikan tugas akhirnya di kemudian hari dan dapat mengembangkan ilmunya di bidang tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu mahasiswa dan program studi dalam menentukan alternatif pemilihan peminatan sesuai mata kuliah yang berkaitan dengan peminatan masing-masing. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan merupakan suatu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk memilih alternatif dari spesialisasi tersebut dengan menerapkan metode Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT). Adapun hasil yang diperoleh, Jaringan Komputer & Sistem Informasi menduduki peringkat 1 dengan nilai 0,545, Multimedia & Computer Vision menduduki peringkat 2 dengan nilai 0,336, Robotika dan Sistem Cerdas menduduki peringkat 3 dengan nilai 0,333

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is a part of computer science that studies how to make computers able to do work like humans do. The horse checker on a chess board has a movement that resembles the letter L. This chess checker is one of the pieces that is very difficult to move and is often the most dangerous checker if you don't pay close attention to each movement. The simulation of this problem provides an n x n chessboard. The goal of this problem is to move a horse from a certain position on the chess board to the desired goal position by simulating all the shortest possible movement solutions to get to that goal position. This problem is also one of the classic problems in artificial intelligence (AI). Solving this problem can use the help of production systems and tracking trees

Abstract

This research aims to apply the COPRAS (Complex Proportional Assessment of Alternatives with Ranking) method in selecting the best students in class 4-3 at Harapan University, Medan. The COPRAS method is used to integrate various assessment criteria, such as GPA, attendance, attitude, activeness and discipline, to produce an objective and transparent evaluation. The research results show that the application of this method succeeded in providing an effective solution in determining the best students. Based on the analysis results, Rili Aditya obtained the highest score with a utility value of 100%, so he was declared the best student among the other candidates. The COPRAS method not only increases assessment accuracy, but also encourages the creation of healthy competition among students. By implementing a decision support system based on the COPRAS method, educational institutions can evaluate student performance more consistently and effectively

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat dengan memberikan pelatihan pemasaran digital menggunakan Google Sites pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) berfokus pada peningkatan keterampilan digital dan pemasaran online. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada pelaku UMKM agar mereka dapat memanfaatkan Google Sites sebagai platform dari Google untuk membangun website resmi yang dapat meningkatkan branding dan penjualan produk. Melalui pelatihan ini, peserta diajarkan cara merancang dan mengelola website menggunakan Google Sites. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari analisis permasalahan, persiapan, praktik pembuatan website, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa peserta telah berhasil membuat website sendiri, yang memungkinkan mereka untuk lebih efektif dalam mengoptimalkan produk dan jasa mereka secara online. Peningkatan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan teknologi informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu UMKM untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan pasar dan meningkatkan daya saing mereka di era digital. Kegiatan ini juga menciptakan kesadaran akan pentingnya digital marketing dalam pengembangan usaha, serta mendorong partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk kemajuan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Rapid technological developments, AI offers innovative solutions to support the teaching and learning process, allowing students to learn independently and adaptively according to their individual needs. Community service activities utilizing artificial intelligence to improve independent learning have proven their effectiveness in improving the quality of education. Through an interactive approach, participants are invited to understand the basic concepts of AI and its applications in the context of education, such as creating teaching materials, quizzes, and learning evaluations. This activity not only aims to increase knowledge about AI, but also to develop students' skills in using the technology wisely. With this activity, students can be more independent in their learning process and are ready to face challenges in the era of digitalization of education. This activity also provides recommendations for improving infrastructure and ongoing training for students and educators so that the use of AI can be more optimal in the future. The results of this activity show that students at SMKN 9 Medan have known and utilized AI in their learning activities with a high level of satisfaction.

Abstract

Choosing a specialization in a study program is a must for students in semester 4 or 5 and above. This specialization aims to focus students' abilities in one area only. However, many students are wrong in choosing the right subject for them. Most of these students choose specialization based on follow-up without thinking about the impact it will have if the student is unable to take the courses given. For that we need an appropriate technique and calculation so that it is able to help these students in choosing the right specialization. Then a Decision Support System is used which can help in making decisions from the data and criteria used to produce an appropriate decision for students. The method used in this study is the Weight Aggregated Sum Product Assessment method or abbreviated as WASPAS. With the application of the WASPAS method in the selection of specializations, it is hoped that it will be able to provide optimal results, namely the selection of specializations that are in accordance with the abilities possessed by each student.roduce an appropriate decision for students.
