Abstract

  Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendefenisikan peranan kelembagaan kelompok tani ternak Nagari Cupak Kecamatan Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok,. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode survey. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa kelompok tani/ternak memiliki peran, yaitu sebagai a) kelas belajar yaitu dengan memfasilitasi anggota dengan sumber belajar, b) unit produksi, yaitu secara bersama membantu anggota dalam menyusun perencanaan pola usaha dan perencanaan penyediaan sarana produksi yang dituangkan dalam RDKK, c) wahana kerjasama yaitu menjalin kerjasama antar anggota, pengelolaan kelompok, kerjama permodalan dan kerjasama dengan  pihak luar, dan d)  kelompok usaha yaitu terdapatnya unit produksi, unit pengolahan dan unit pemasaran. Agar kelompok tani/ternak di Nagari Cupak Kecamatan Gunung Talang Kabupaten Solok semakin baik, juga perlu peningkatan peran pemangku kepentingan terutama Pemerintahan Daerah melalui Dinas Terkait untuk melakukan pendampingan dan pembinaan kelompok secara kerkala dan berkesinambungan dan sekaligus mencarikan terobosan lain untuk pengembangan kelompok.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using expired bread flour and golden snail flour in quail rations on energy consumption, crude fiber consumption and drinking water consumption. The livestock used were female quails aged 14 weeks (egg laying period) totaling 80 tails. Bread comes from the bakery PT. Nagari Minang Jelita is located on Jl. Cross Sumatra KM.13 Jorong Kubang Nagari Singkarak Kab. solo. The design of this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) which consisted of 4 treatments, namely: P0 (given yellow corn without TRK and TKM), P1 (10% TRK and 5.35% TKM), P2 (20% TRK and 10 ,65% TKM), P3 (30% TKM and 16% TKM). Each treatment consisted of 5 cage units as replicates. Each cage unit is filled with 5 quails. The variables measured in this study were energy consumption, crude fiber consumption and drinking water consumption. The results showed that the average energy consumption was P0=58,69; P1=58,29; P2=59,41; P3=61,38 Mcal/head/day, crude fiber consumption is P0=0,80; P1=0,80; P2=0,81; P3=0,82 gram/head/day and drinking water consumption is P0=66,11; P1=64,81; P2=64,11; P3=65,41 ml/head/day. The results of the study concluded that the effect of giving expired bread flour and golden snail flour in the ration had a non-significantly different effect (P>0.05) on energy consumption, crude fiber consumption and quail drinking water consumption.

Abstract

The objective this study was to improve the best of swim-up media for buffalo epididymal spermatozoa used embryos produce by in vitro fertilization. Epididymal sperm collected from buffalo examined macroscopically and microscopically. Three media were used for the swim-up sperm: TALP, mBO and TCM-199. The results epididmys buffalo sperm motility percentage indicates that more influenced significantly (P<0,05) on all three swim-up media with TALP averaging 74,17 ± 7,35; mB-O 77,5 ± 4,03; TCM-199 67,5 ± 5,15. For buffalo epididymal spermatozoa percentage was also influential shows significant (P<0,05) on the three swim-up media with TALP averaging 90,76 ± 4,04; mB-O 91,86 ± 4,63; TCM-199 80,73 ± 9,6. While the percentage TAU of buffalo epididymal spermatozoa showed that no significant effect (P>0,05) in the three swim-up media with TALP averaging 81,36 ± 5,38; medium BO 80,22 ± 6,35; TCM-199 79,62 ± 7,69. From these results it can be concluded that the use of media medium BO is able to maintain the characteristics of buffalo epididymal spermatozoa in vitro better than the other two media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji wafer pakan komplit berbasis limbah jerami klobot dengan lama penyimpanan yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan 3 perlakuan dengan komposisi tiap perlakuan R1 30% Klobot jagung, R2 30% daun jagung, R3 15% klobot dan daun jagung serta 3 metode penyimpangan yaitu 0, 2, dan 4 minggu. Alat dan bahan kadar air, kerapatan, dan daya serap air. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial (Gaspersz, 1991) yang terdiri dari 3 x 3 dengan tiga ulangan. Sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan wafer pakan komplit mengandung klobot dan daun jagung, waktu penyimpanan,dan interaksi antar kedua faktor berpengaruh nyata (P<0.05) terhadap kadar air. Sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa wafer pakan komplit mengandung jerami klobotdan daun jagung, waktu penyimpanan, dan interaksi antar kedua faktor berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap kerapatan. Sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan wafer pakan komplit mengandung klobot dan daun jagung, waktu penyimpanan, dan interaksi antar kedua faktor berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap tinggi-rendahnya persentase daya serap air. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan terlihat bahwa selama penyimpanan menaikkan kadar air dan kerapatan, dan menurunkan daya serap air.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the length of fermentation time of soybean juice with Aspergillus ficuum on the dry matter, crude protein, and crude fiber content. Completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments and 5 replications for each treatment, used in this research. The treatments consisted of P0 fermentation for 0 days, P1 fermentation for 7 days, P2 fermentation for 9 days, and P3 fermentation for 11 days. The parameters measured were dry matter content, crude protein content, and crude fiber content. The results of the analysis of diversity showed that the length of fermentation of soybean juice with Aspergillus ficuum had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on dry matter content, crude protein content, and crude fiber content. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the fermentation time of soybean juice with Aspergillus ficuum for 11 days gave optimum results seen from the dry matter content of 95.95%, crude protein content of 35.27% and crude fiber content of 10.99%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of fermented citronella pulp using effective microorganisms (em4) using rice bran as a carbohydrate source on dry matter content, ash content, and organic matter. In this study, 400 grams of EM4 were used, 3680 grams of citronella pulp, and 320 grams of rice bran as a carbohydrate source. Completely randomized design 4 levels adding the rice bran with 4 replication used in this research. There were: A (5%), B (7%), C (9%), and D (11%). The variables observed in this study were dry matter content, ash content, and organic matter. The results of this study showed that the fermentation of citronella pulp with EM4 using rice bran as carbohydrates on dry matter content, ash content and organic matter gave no significant effect (P> 0.05). Giving rice bran as a carbohydrate source as much as 5% (Treatment A) in the process of making citronella dregs fermentation tends to be the best level (more cost-effective) compared to 7% (treatment B), 9% (treatment C) and 11% (treatment D) .

Abstract

The people in Nagari Durian Gadang Sijunjung District Sijunjung Regency is a mountainous area. Utilization can be used as waste so as to increase the population of native chickens in the Nagari. Nagari Durian Gadang, where most of the people work as farmers so that a lot of agricultural waste that can be used as chicken feed. This study uses a survey method by collecting information from all native chicken in Nagari Durian Gadang who meet the criteria. The Data used are primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the population native chicken in Nagari durian Gadang is still small (315 chick). Characteristics of native chicken farmers in Nagari durian Gadang average productive age (91.18%), the dominant sex is female (52.94%). The level of education in general is elementary/equivalent (50%) with experience raising for 1-5 years (88.24%) and semi-intensive maintenance system. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the characteristics of native chicken average productive age with a dominant female sex. The level of education of breeders is generally elementary/equivalent with experience raising for 1-5 years which is a sideline business. The seeds used are local seeds with a semi-intensive system, the feed has not met the nutritional standards and the handling or prevention of disease is almost non-existent. Chicken is sold locally.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of using local bioactivators rumen contents consisting of local microorganism extract and crude enzymes on crude fiber, crude fat and The Extract matter without nitrogen content of palm fronds. The research was conducted by an experimental method using factorial design in RAL with 2 X 3 and 3 replications for each treatment. Factor A is a type of local bioactivator consisting of A1 = MOL, A2 = crude enzyme. Factor B is the dose of bioactivator, B1 = 10%, B2 = 20%, B3 = 30%. The results showed that there was no interaction between the dose and type of bioactivator on the content of crude fiber, crude fat and Extract matter without nitrogen of palm fronds.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dosis inokulum jamur pelapuk putih (Phanerochaeta chrysosporium) pada hasil fermentasi limbah penyulingan serai wangi yang telah dicuci menggunakan buah lerak terhadap kandungan serat kasar, lemak kasar dan bahan ekstrak tanpa nitrogen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metoda eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan adalah P0 ( Tanpa fermentasi), P1 (Fermentasi Limbah serai wangi dengan dosis inokulum 3%, P2 (Fermentasi limbah serai wangi dengan dosis inokulum 5%), P3 (Fermentasi limbah serai wangi dengan dosis inokulum 7% dan P4 (Fermentasi limbah serai wangi dengan dosis inokulum 9%). Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh dosisi jamur pelapuk putih (Phanerochaeta chrysosporium) pada fermentasi limbah serai wangi memberikan pengaruh berbeda sangat nyata (P<0.01) terhadapa kandungan serat kasar dan BETN tetapi berbeda tidak nyata (P>0.05) terhadap kandungan lemak kasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengaruh dosis jamur pelapuk putih (Phanerochaeta chrysosporium) pada fermentasi limbah serai wangi memberikan pengaruh berbed sangat nyata menurunkan kandungan serat kasar dan bahan ekstrak tanpa nirogen tetapi berbeda tidak nyata terhadap kandungan lemak kasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parity, calving distance, gender, and birth weight of Limousin calves at BPTU-HPT Padang Mengatas. The material for this research is recording data from 29 Limousin cattle consisting of parities I, II, and III which are kept at BPTU-HPT Padang Atasas. The method used in this research is the case study method and sampling was carried out using purpose sampling. Data was obtained by looking at the recording records for Limousin cattle at BPTU-HPT Padang Mengatas. The variables observed were parity, birth spacing, and gender as variable variables and birth weight as a fixed variable. Data analysis used multiple linear regression and processing using the SPSS 22 for Windows program to look for variables that were strongly related to birth weight. The results showed that the average birth weights at parity I, II, and III were 32.34 kg, 42.17 kg, and 44.14 kg. The increase in birth weight occurred starting from parity II and III amounting to 12.22% and 12.79%. The average calving distance between Calving Interval I and Calving Interval II was 588.79 days (19.62 months) and 550.41 days (18.35 months). The percentage of female calves at parity I and II was 51.72% while the percentage of male calves was 48.28%. At parity III the percentage of male calves was 37.93% while female calves were 62.07%. Based on the correlation results, an r-value of 59.2% shows that the variables tested have a strong relationship. This means that there is a correlation between parity, birth spacing, gender, and birth weight. X1 + X2 + X3
