Abstract

This study try to describe the participation of society in the development of Islamic Boarding School DDI Asshirathal Mustaqim in Baru Baru Tanga, Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi. This research uses a qualitative approach. The informants of this research are community leaders, parents of students, the heads of foundations, leaders of Islamic boarding schools, the principals, the teachers, and administrative staff within the scope of Islamic boarding schools. Data was collect by using interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that participation of society in the development of educational institutions is very active. The evidence of this argument is the society help and involved in academic and non-academic activities in building of this institutions

Abstract

Madrasah diniyah and pondok pesantren are educational institutions that are very popular in Indonesia. Todays, the role of madrasah diniyah in supporting Islamic learning needs serious attention. The development of Islamic education institutions left behind with the development of science and technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The existence of Madrasah Diniyah was fade and left behind in various aspect. This paper aims to know the problems of madrasah diniyah in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The method we use is literature review. This study recommends that madrasah diniyah should play a central role in the globalization era, especially in industrial revolution 4.0 era. In addition, pesantren do not only focus on studying religion and reciting the Koran, but also instill the values ​​of nationalism as well as moral and manners, and instill skills education so that madrasah diniyah can interact with the development of science and technology.

Abstract

This paper outlines the Inspirational Motivation Leadership of The Principals in learning Robotics at Averos Sorong City High School. Robotics is an excellent subject at Averos High School. In addition, Robotics Science is also an extracurricular activity for Averos high school students. Many achievements have been reached by Averos High School in robotics including the winner of the science olympiad competition, and winning the championship at the national level and some are sent to compete in the other country. This is inseparable from the leadership of the Principal of Averos High School. Therefore, it is interesting to discuss the Inspirational Motivation Leadership of Sorong City High School Senior High School. The results of this study are Robotics Science is a local subject in Averos Sorong City High School. Robotic Science in Averos High School is divided into two groups, namely robotics as a subject and robotics as club. Robotics Science Learning is given to all Class X and Class XI students. The aim of learning robotics is to improve the quality of Averos high school students. So, when they graduate from Averos they will have competitiveness in the development of science and technology. And the Principal Inspirational Motivation Leadership in Robotics Science Learning is demonstrated by caring for teachers, staff and students, involving everyone in the organization. Giving appreciation, making sure that the subject is fun, showing real trust, and listening to subordinates. While the output of robotics science was made students capable of creating Arduino Soccer-Transforter Robot in 2013, Drone in 2013, Robot Linetracer Analog 12 Sensors in 2014, Robot Wall Follower 2014, Analog Transforter Robot 2017, Miniature Wireless Bluetooth Based Home 2018, Alingu in 2018, Seven Segments in 2018, and Bluetooth Pairing Robot.

Abstract

This paper found that the character of education at Averos High School was successfully implemented since in 2010. The implementation of character education was carried out through the internalization of character values in the syllabus and lesson plans. The character values were explicitly taught in teaching activities that include in initial, core and closing activities. In addition, the implementation of character education was carried out with exemplary and habituation that were integrated in daily life of student. The character education was both taught in class and practically implemented outside the classroom through extracurricular activities. Furthermore, the implementation of the character education was examined through three aspects, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspect. The assessment through these three aspects was carried out continuously in formal learning activities in the classroom and outside the classroom. Finally, the study also reported some factors supporting the internalization of character values, namely family, the headmaster, educators, environment and facilities while time that student spending in the school, and community participation were reported as constraints

Abstract

This research aim to explore the political behavior of Tuan Guru in post-reformation in Lombok. This research also trie to reveal the existence of Tuan Guru in terms of the historical aspects of the cultural traditions and religious patterns of the Lombok society. This research found that Tuan Guru in Lombok has a very broad position and role, not only in the religious aspects, but also in the social, economic and political fields.

Abstract

This paper discusses about the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in dealing with students absorption skills. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation and data verification. This paper found that the Islamic religious education teacher at SMP Negeri 4 Sojol Kec. Sojol Kab. Donggala is successful in using learning strategies to increase thinking skills, because it can create fun learning and make students feel faster in understanding the subject matter of Islamic Religious Education. One aspect that affects the success of learning is the ability of the teacher to manage learning. The teacher delivering material learning with calm, not rushing in delivering material. So, the students can analyze the material. Creating a pleasant learning atmosphere in the classroom, making students not feel bored with the material

Abstract

The existence of consumerism culture is hamful for a development rural's living such motivating people to consume more and more, beyond their a daily requirement. Seen from an economic factor, both a huge significant sea outcome and traditional market, Campurejo village was drawn an attraction to many traders. The problem is that there are many traders are danger for spritual dan social living: suggesting people to consume more and more. Such that challenge now faced by people of Campurejo, especially by education instituions Tarbiyatul Wathon, Pendidikan Muhammadiyah, TPQ Al-Hidayah and Al-Syafi'iyyah Bu Tarafah. This research combines both literary and field research. For best comprehensive result, this research equipped by some interviews and observations. The results show that moral education concept has critical implication to defence consumerism culture, it is show that people have an abbility to control which is not to consume more and more again, beside that moral education concept increases the spritual education which perceives as the real basic morality people. This research suggest for development strategy especially for rural living people how the moral education can be seen as shield for consumerism culture.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increasing of the Head master of MAN Model performance in City of Sorong through the Self-Assessment Method. This type of research is a supervisory action research conducted a participatory collaborative manner between the Head master of MAN Model Sorong as the Research Subject and the School Supervisor at Madrasahs as Researchers. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four components, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, documentation, and data analysis. Data analysis was carried out in 3 stages, namely reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (a) the use of the Self Assessment method can improve the performance of the Head master of MAN Model Sorong. The increasing of the performance can be seen from the components of the Personality Standards in cycle 1 by 90%, increasing to 94% in cycle 2 or up by 4%. The Managerial Competency Standard in cycle 1 was 70% increased to 84% in cycle 2 or increased by 14%. The Entrepreneurship Competency Standard in cycle 1 was 88%, increasing to 93% in cycle 2 or increasing by 5%. The competency standards for supervision in cycle 1 were 78%, increasing to 86% in cycle 2 or increasing by 8%. The Social Competency Standard in cycle 1 was 67% increased to 80% in cycle 2 or increased by 13%. (b) The use of Self Assessment (Self-Assessment) can improve the performance of the Head master of the MAN Model Sorong with an average of 78% in cycle 1 increasing to 88% in cycle 2 or an increase of 10%.

Abstract

This paper examines the problems of learning Islamic education subject at SMK Negeri 3 Sorong. Islamic education is one of the compulsory subjects in schools at every level of education, from elementary until high school and university. At SMK Negeri 3 Sorong, Islamic education subject is a normative subject that is give a students chance to become good believers, fear to Allah SWT, are become a good person, and have a complete personality. With Islamic education subject in the schools, student are expected to understand, appreciate and practice the teachings of Islam in everyday life. Although Islamic education has been teached at SMK Negeri 3 Sorong, ethical and moral deviations students still a big problem. Drinking alcohol, promiscuity, often skipping school, lying, talking harshly, and fighting still perform by the student. This paper interested in researching the problems of Islamic education subject at SMK Negeri 3 Sorong. The results of this study are: First, learning Islamic education subject at SMK Negeri 3 Sorong faces various problems. Most students have not been capability to read the Alquran, lack of cooperation between teachers and students, the teachers have not applying personal and professional competences in learning, limited time to learn a subject, school facilities and infrastructure that have not optimally supported in Islamic learning subject. Second, SMK Negeri 3 Sorong has made various efforts in addressing the problems of Islamic education subject. Especially, the program of reading the Qur'an once a week, praying dzuhur jamaah at the mosque, and religious extracurricular activities such as monthly recitation for teachers and students

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pemikiran Harun Nasution dalam pendidikan dan relevansinya dengan dunia modern. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) dengan pengumpulan data dokumentasi dan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan literatur. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa Harun Nasution dikenal memiliki keahlian dalam bidang teologi dan filsafat yang bercorak rasional dan liberal. Islam rasional adalah Islam yang dalam menjelaskan ajaran-ajarannya tidak hanya mengandalkan pendapat wahyu, tetapi juga mengikutsertakan akal pikiran. Implikasi pemikiran pendidikan Harun Nasution terhadap dunia modern yaitu terlihat dari proses menjadikan IAIN Jakarta sebagai pusat studi pemikiran Islam dan pendidikan moral di semua apsek pendidikan yang lebih diutamakan. Dan dengan pemahaman agama yang rasional maka akan dapat berfikir secara rasioanal dalam menyikapi masalah umat manusia dan pemahamanya.
