Abstract

This article shows that one form of parenting in improving children's independence is deliberation by parents. Parents recognize the ability of their children, and then the child is given the opportunity to not always depend on the parents. In this case, the role of deliberation is important to reach a joint decision fairly and wisely, so that children form a creative, independent, and still respect the parents. Thus, the better parenting performed by parents, it will have a positive impact on the independence of their children

Abstract

This paper discusses the educational values contained in Q.S. al-Isra' ([17]: 23-25) and its actualization in the modern world. This article shows that, first, the educational values contained in Q.S. al-Isra '(17: 23-25), namely (1) the Aqidah education which Allah obliges His servants to press Him in worship and in worship and forbid them to associate Allah with anything or anyone. Therefore, the one who deserves the highest honors is the one who created nature and everything in it that is Allah Almighty. (2) Education of birrul walidain, after Allah commanded that not worship other than Him then Allah commanded to the Muslims so that they really pay attention to the devotional services to both mothers father and do not regard it as a trivial affair, by explaining that God is the more know what thrilled in their hearts. Second, the actualization of educational values based on Q.S. al-Isra '(17: 23-25) in the modern world, namely (1) education of the creeds in schools should teach the students in union of God that there is no god worthy to be worshiped besides Allah the Almighty God. The limited number of hours of lesson with the tarnished material causes the religious teacher to take the easiest shortcut, that is, to see religious education is no more a lesson than an education. (2) Education of birrul walidain in the modern world today is the treatment of elderly parents is really upside down. When they need more attention from the closest people, especially a child, instead they are mostly alienated from the family on the grounds to get better attention. Finally, they are deposited in nursing homes or others.

Abstract

Being tolerant is allowing others to be themselves, respecting others, respecting their origin and background. Tolerance invites dialogue to communicate the existence of mutual recognition. This is the picture of tolerance in its solid form. This article aims to find out the cultivation of religious tolerance values in the learning of Islamic Education (PAI). The results of the study indicate that the following measures are: first, schools should establish and implement local laws, for example school laws that are specifically applied in a particular school. Second, to build a sense of understanding from an early age between students who have different religious beliefs, the school must play an active role in promoting religious dialogue or interfaith dialogue which must remain in the guidance of teachers in the school. Third, another importantthing in the application of the education of tolerance, the curriculum and textbooks used and applied in schools. Furthermore, the teaching model that can be an option for the cultivation of religious tolerance values in schools includes communicative teaching models and active teaching models.

Abstract

This article explains the philosophical view of progressivism about learners. Progressive philosophy sees that education is not just transferring knowledge to learners, but training their abilities and skills by providing the right stimulus. In the field of education, this philosophy was pioneered by the educational leader, John Dewey, with the main jargon of education as an instrument of social reconstruction. Progressive philosophy has the principle that learners should be educated to be human beings who can understand life in the future. For that, learners should be allowed to be free, active, creativity, and dynamic in accordance with the context of life.

Abstract

This paper discusses the increasing students’ learning motivation using a new learning model known as jigsaw learning on the subject of the Quran Hadith. The results of this study shows that the jigsaw method can foster students' learning motivation by itself, because in this study it provides an opportunity for all students to be actively involved in the thinking process and learning activities. By providing many opportunities for students to actively learn the group in memorizing short letters to make the students' ability to read and memorize to be good because there is a process of brainstorming and complementary reading and memorizing students.

Abstract

This study aims to know life skill implementation at Islamic Boarding School Darul Falah Be-Songo Ngaliyan Semarang. This study is a library research by examining various literature or relevant research as a source of data. The results of the study show that Islamic Boarding School Darul Falah Be-Songo Ngaliyan Semarang has organized activities that have life s skills. These skills include vocational skills and academic skills. Vocational skills here in the form of cooking skills, embroidery, make-up and other types of crafts. In addition, in it also taught how the students can speak well, both in expressing opinions and in speeches and other skills that become the main attraction for the surrounding community. The benefits, can improve the quality of thinking, quality of heart, and physical quality of students. Abstract

This article discusses the role of strategic education institutions in developing a harmonious, harmonious and peaceful life in a diverse society of religions, tribes and cultures. Abstract

This paper discusses the improvement of children's cognitive in learning of PAI using BCCT (Beyond Centers and Circle Time) approach. In this approach, the child is stimulated to actively perform the play activities while learning in the learning centers. Center a made based on the needs and development of children. Some centers used include 1) central role play; 2) beam center; and 3) worship centers; 4) preparation center; 5) art creativity center; and 6) centers of natural materials. The results of the study indicate that the BCCT approach improves children's cognitive development with the support of this approach.

Abstract

This paper will examine the thoughts of Abdurrahman Mas'ud on Nondikotomik Educational Format (Humanism Religious as Paradigm of Islamic Education). Mas'ud argues, there is no separation between religious science and general science. Mas'ud seems to want to compromise the general assumption between Western education which is more concerned with the knowledge aspect with Eastern education emphasizing more on the Religious aspect. The educational goal according to Abdurrahman Mas'ud is the connection between man and his God (Hablum Minallah) and between man and man (Hablum Minannas). Ultimately, education aims to enable students to become human beings, which is perfect in the eyes of human civilization and perfect in the standard of religion. Abstract

This research describes the prophetic education in Mlangi Nogotirto Gamping Sleman Yogyakarta, and examines the role it plays in counteracting the negative effects of technology. Problem formulation in this research: what is the meaning of prophetic education? and how does prophetic education stem the negative effects of technology? The results show that prophetic education plays a major role in minimizing the negative effects of technology. The strengthening of spirituality as played by 16 pesantren and active involvement of citizens and santri in society can counter the negative influence from outside Mlangi.
