Abstract

Integrated farming system is an approach to managing plants, livestock, and fish along with their environment to create optimal results. The development of integrated agriculture is advancing with technologies such as Wireless Sensor Networks and the Internet of Things (IoT), enabling remote monitoring and control of agricultural environmental conditions. For this purpose, an application called "Integrated Farming System based on Wireless Sensor Networks and the Internet of Things (IoT)" has been developed. The system takes the form of aquaponics, consisting of areas for cultivating plants and ponds for fish farming, using subjects like Pakcoy plants and Nile tilapia fish. This system has been successfully implemented, reading water conditions including temperature and pH, as well as air conditions such as temperature and humidity. Moreover, the system can also monitor the status of the water pump used to channel water from the pond to the pipes, and it can control feeding in the livestock. Monitoring and control processes within this system are carried out using a website application.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of sentiment analysis algorithms, specifically Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Decision Tree (DT), integrated with the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) to mitigate class imbalance issues. Guided by the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) framework, the research involves several stages: Business Understanding, Data Understanding, Data Preparation, Modeling, Evaluation, and Deployment. The process begins with understanding the business objectives of sentiment analysis and proceeds to explore and prepare the dataset for analysis. SVM and DT algorithms, enhanced with SMOTE, are then implemented for sentiment classification. The study reveals promising results in sentiment analysis tasks. When integrated with SMOTE, SVM achieves an accuracy of 99.21%, while DT attains an accuracy of 98.33%. The Area Under the Curve (AUC) metrics indicate high confidence in classifying positive instances, with SVM and DT demonstrating AUC scores of 1.000 and 0.996, respectively. These findings underscore the efficacy of SVM and DT algorithms, enhanced with SMOTE, in accurately classifying sentiment within text data, thereby addressing class imbalance issues effectively

Abstract

This research investigates the efficacy of employing the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) framework to analyze sentiment classification models. The study focuses on evaluating the performance of Decision Trees (DT) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) models integrated with the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) across various performance metrics, including accuracy, precision, recall, f-measure, and Area Under the Curve (AUC). Using CRISP-DM, the research ensures a systematic data preprocessing, modeling, and evaluation approach. The findings reveal that both DT and SVM models with SMOTE achieve high accuracy rates, with DT yielding an accuracy of 98.37% +/- 0.48% and SVM achieving 98.91% +/- 0.59%. These models effectively distinguish between positive and negative sentiments, as precision, recall, and f-measure scores indicate. Additionally, the AUC scores underscore the robustness of the models in sentiment analysis tasks. These results highlight the potential of CRISP-DM as a structured methodology for sentiment classification research, providing insights into the performance of different machine learning algorithms in handling imbalanced datasets. Based on these findings, it is recommended that future studies further explore the application of CRISP-DM in sentiment analysis tasks and investigate the scalability of DT and SVM models with SMOTE in larger datasets.

Abstract

Delivery of information and presentation of data can be delivered through applications that are implemented to help create a system based on company needs. This problem occurs because the government has more than 400,000 applications and each ministry/institution has around 24,000 applications. Many applications in companies do not operate multifunctionally because they are considered to be inconvenient and inefficient to use, thus causing the applications to become unused in companies. To develop a new system that will be implemented in a company, of course you want the application to be used continuously by users. One way to correct this error is to create a good UI/UX that can be adopted by the company by involving a deep understanding of the user and organizational goals. The resulting solution to overcome this problem was a UI/UX design at PT. Pertamina Hulu Rokan Regional 1 Zone 4 Field Limau which was designed in the form of a design prototype using the design thinking method. The main goal of making a UI/UX prototype is to improve the user experience at the company by meeting the company's needs for designing operational vehicle tracking applications. The final results of this research use the design thinking method and user experience questionnaire (UEQ) as testing to determine whether the response tends to be positive or negative from users. The results of the trial on the prototype received an "Excellent" score with a success rate for designing the UI/UX prototype application for PT's operational vehicle tracker. Abstract

The process of online buying and selling transactions which are global in nature by involving many people actually facilitates the process of spreading viruses, one of which is the Covid-19 virus, which spreads mostly through splashes of liquid expelled from the nose and mouth, such as sneezing, coughing and yawning. Viruses that stick to the surface of goods also have the potential to infect humans who come in direct contact. The incubation period for the virus until the disease appears is between 3 (three) to 7 (seven) days. the covid-19 virus is sensitive to heat with a temperature of 56 ? for 30 minutes. Based on the root of the problem, this research was conducted as an effort to prevent the chain of distribution of Covid-19 by building a heating box with a width of 50 cm and a length of 65 cm using fiber glass material with a thickness of 3mm. By using Arduino Uno as a tool to control the MLX temperature sensor, the temperature sensor works by emitting infrared light towards the surface of the goods wall, then reflected and received by the receiver. This heat will be converted by the temperature sensor module into a voltage between 0 to 5 Volts. This voltage is used as an arduino input to get the surface temperature of goods, the results of temperature readings are displayed on the 16 x 2 LCD. Based on the validation results of the electronic circuit design and heating box, validation results obtained were 89.26% for usability, 86.96% for information quality and 92.2% for service interaction quality with an average percentage of 89.47%, which means the tool is running well. The test results using an initial temperature of 30ºC and the desired temperature of 56ºC takes 1 minute 13 seconds, the temperature displayed on the LCD has reached 56ºC. . This heater is also operated through an android application that communicates with the Arduino microcontroller via the HC-05 bluetooth moduleAbstract is a brief summary of the manuscript to help readers quickly determine the main research problem, the method used as a solution to solving the problems encountered, research objectives and temporary research results which can be in the form of numbers/percentages according to research needs.
