Abstract

The presidential and vice presidential elections in Indonesia always trigger debate, especially in 2024 which is considered quite grabbing public attention. The latest controversy arose regarding Gibran's candidacy as Prabowo's running mate. This study aims to analyze changes in public sentiment before and after Gibran was selected as a vice presidential candidate in reviews on the Twitter (X) application. The dataset used in this study is a review from Twitter (X) with a period of time from July 2023 to December 2023, or before and after Gibran's nomination as Prabowo's vice president, then the dataset is saved into a csv file into GibranSebelum, GibranSesudah, PrabowoSebelum, dan PrabowoSesudah. The dataset was then analyzed using the Naïve Bayes algorithm by classifying sentiment into positive and negative categories. The Preprocessing stages carried out in this study include Cleansing, Tokenizing, Stopwords, and Transform Cases. This study also used the confusion matrix evaluation method to measure accuracy using three parameters, namely accuracy, precision, and recall. The results showed variations in model performance, GibranSebelum's dataset achieved 42.86% accuracy, 20.00% precision, and 100.00% recall, while GibranSesudah produced 67.80% accuracy, 52.50% precision, and 100.00% recall. PrabowoSebelum's dataset recorded 60.71% accuracy, 44.07% precision, and 100.00% recall, while PrabowoSesudah had 55.00% accuracy, 35.71% precision, and 100.00% recall. Analysis shows a trend of increasing negative sentiment after Gibran was sworn in as Prabowo's vice president, signaling an increase in public dissatisfaction with the condition

Abstract

The advancement of information technology plays a crucial role in supporting businesses, including the coffee industry exemplified by Softcoffee Lintang. Softcoffee Lintang faces challenges with its manual ordering system and limited promotions, which hinder customers from easily accessing essential information such as prices, menus, and current promotions. This study employs the Design Thinking methodology to develop an innovative web-based User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) aimed at addressing these issues and enhancing the customer experience. A qualitative approach, involving interviews with management and questionnaires to customers, revealed that the resulting UI/UX design significantly facilitates application use, incorporating new features such as additional payment methods and product reviews, which received Single Ease Question (SEQ) scores above 6. The Design Thinking methodology proved effective in enhancing Softcoffee Lintang's operational efficiency through an attractive and intuitive website design, providing practical solutions to the identified problems and supporting the overall business strategy

Abstract

XYZ is an education technology startup providing IT bootcamps through a Learning Management System (LMS) platform. The platform faces a primary challenge: users' lack of understanding of features such as reminders and history, as well as the need for monitoring learning progress features. User satisfaction testing yielded low results. This study aims to redesign the XYZ LMS website with a focus on UI/UX to enhance accessibility and learning satisfaction, utilizing User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology and usability testing. The research resulted in a prototype UI/UX design for the LMS, with significant improvement observed in the System Usability Scale (SUS) score, which increased to 91.42, and user performance reaching 93.01% in usability testing. These outcomes indicate the success of the new design implementation

Abstract

In the current digital era, the selection of an effective financial management application poses a significant challenge due to the extensive variety of available options. Manual selection processes are often time-consuming and labor-intensive, requiring users to individually research and compare different applications based on limited and sometimes incomplete information. This research endeavors to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) employing a combined approach of the Composite Performance Index (CPI) and Rank Order Centroid (ROC) methods to streamline the selection of financial management applications. The CPI method integrates various performance dimensions into a single comprehensive index, facilitating a holistic evaluation of each candidate. Simultaneously, the ROC method is used to assign weights based on the ranking of criteria, thereby reducing subjectivity in determining the importance of each criterion. This research has resulted in a DSS capable of managing criteria and alternative data, evaluating alternatives, performing automatic CPI calculations, and displaying the optimal choices in a ranked format. In the conducted case study, Goodbudget achieved the highest composite index score of 114.42, followed by Money Lover with a score of 112.97, TrackWallet scoring 112.75, Budget Planner with 105.22, and Bluecoins with 100. The results from the DSS matched the manual calculations, demonstrating the reliability of the system's output. Black-box testing has demonstrated that all test cases have been executed successfully and have met the predefined functions.

Abstract

The Mitra Darat application is an Android-based application available on the Google Play Store, developed by the Directorate General of Land Transportation (Ministry of Transportation). User reviews on this platform enable direct communication with developers, offering valuable feedback for service enhancement and future development. For that reason, aspect-based sentiment analysis is needed to help organizations monitor product sentiment in user feedback, and understand user needs. This research aims to implement aspect-based sentiment analysis on Mitra Darat application user reviews to generate insights via a system dashboard. Comparing Naive Bayes (NB) and Support Vector Machines (SVM) for machine learning models with the addition of pre-trained Indobert as word embedding, SVM showed superior performance with an accuracy score of 94% for aspect classification and 90% for sentiment classification, compared to Naive Bayes with scores of 84% and 78% respectively. The trained Support Vector Machine model (SVM) was then utilized to analyze 967 reviews of the Mitra Darat application for 2023. The results of the analysis are presented on a dashboard page with summary information, which shows that the overall user sentiment is 52.3% positive, 10% neutral, and 37.7% negative. In terms of sentiment polarity by aspect, the system aspect is 29% positive, 8% neutral, and 63% negative, meaning that some bugs and issues have been found in the application, so it can be evaluated for future system development. The service aspect is 62% positive, 27% neutral, and 11% negative, which means that the free mudik service is quite well organized

Abstract

A salesperson is an individual who is responsible for selling a company's products or services to customers, either directly or through various marketing channels. The main problem in determining the best salesperson is often related to the complexity of assessing various aspects of performance comprehensively and fairly. While metrics such as sales volume are easy to measure, other important aspects such as the ability to build long-term relationships with customers, customer satisfaction, and contribution to team dynamics are more difficult to measure objectively. The purpose of this study was to combine LOPCOW and MOORA in the performance appraisal of salespeople. This study aims to address several challenges associated with the assessment of sales force performance, including heteroscedasticity in sales data and complexity in evaluating relevant multi-criteria criteria. By integrating LOPCOW to manage heteroscedasticity in sales data and MOORA to consider various aspects of sales force performance, resulting in a weighting method that can provide more accurate and comprehensive performance appraisals. The results of the salesperson performance ranking the 1st rank with the final value of MOORA 0.35861 with the name Salesperson HS, the 2nd rank with the final value of MOORA 0.34241 with the name Salesperson FT, and the 3rd rank with the final value of MOORA 0.3347 with the name Salesperson TS.

Abstract

Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA) is a multi-criteria decision-making method used to evaluate and select the best alternative based on multiple objectives or criteria. One of the main disadvantages of the MOORA method is subjectivity in the determination of the weight of criteria. In this method, the decision maker must determine the relative weight of each criterion used to evaluate alternatives. Subjectivity in the weighting of criteria can also lead to inconsistencies between different decision makers or experts, resulting decisions can be less transparent and less acceptable to all parties involved, reducing confidence in the validity and accuracy of the results. Optimization of alternative assessment with modified MOORA method is to develop alternative assessment methods that are more accurate and objective by integrating standard deviation into the MOORA method. This study aims to overcome the weaknesses of conventional MOORA methods in dealing with data variation and assessment subjectivity by introducing a more data-driven mechanism of calculating the weight of criteria. Through testing and comparing performance between modified MOORA methods and conventional methods, this study aims to demonstrate improved accuracy, consistency, and reliability in alternative assessment results. In addition, this research is expected to provide practical implementation guidance for the application of the modified MOORA method in the Decision Support System (DSS), so as to improve the efficiency and quality of decision making in various sectors. The ranking results showed that the results of rank 1 were obtained by Employee 6 with a final score of 0.3375, rank 2 was obtained by Employee 3 with a final score of 0.2904, and rank 3 was obtained by Employee 7 with a final score of 0.2756. The results of the comparison test of the original rank with SD-MOORA showed a correlation value of 1, so it can be concluded that there is a very strong and positive relationship between the original rating and the SD-MOORA rating. This shows that the rating produced by SD-MOORA is very consistent with the original ranking, thus giving validity to the effectiveness of SD-MOORA in replicating the original rating results more objectively and efficiently. The results of the SD-MOORA modification showed significant improvements in the accuracy and objectivity of decision making.

Abstract

Alfatih School Indonesia is the first Islamic school with a combination of Indonesia and Turkey which was founded on August 15 2019. This school always ensures that its students are safe from going to school to leaving school, but currently the school only carries out supervision by waiting and ensuring that only parents students who are allowed to pick up students. This method is less effective because there is no accurate documentation or records, besides that many crimes occur, such as kidnapping, which means that security must be improved. In this research, an Android-based school children pick-up and drop-off monitoring application was built using the WhatsApp API with the QR Code feature. The application that was built is equipped with the main feature of Whatsapp Information, namely a feature that allows parents to receive detailed information about the person who picked up their child via Whatsapp messages sent to the parents' Whatsapp number by the application automatically. The type of WhatsApp that will be used is the WhatsApp API (Application Program Interface). The message will be sent after the school confirms it using a scan of the QR Code that each parent has. To ensure security the generated QR Code will always be different and can only be created through the application. The application built can also validate invalid QR-Code

Abstract

LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri has achieved various successes in managing, distributing, and empowering underprivileged and underprivileged orphans. Despite this, the Banyuwangi branch still faces challenges in archiving programs, which are currently done conventionally. The Banyuwangi branch of the Yatim Mandiri Foundation has not yet adopted an electronic platform for archiving files and documentation of program distribution, making it difficult for donors to monitor and understand the flow of funds they donate. This research proposes the development of a web-based Yatim Mandiri (e-YM) electronic system to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of program archiving. The design process will be created using Figma software, and the design will refer to the Human Centered Design (HCD) method. The design testing method uses a system usability scale (SUS) to measure and evaluate system usability based on user perceptions. Based on the results of testing the e-YM website design using the Human Centered Design Method approach, the results showed that the design answered user needs. This is because the E-YM website has a distribution page to record all distribution of donations, print LPJ, archive, and independently record donations by donors. Apart from that, the usability score on the System Usability Scale test, which was attended by employees of the Banyuwangi branch of the Yatim Mandiri Foundation, students and the wider community produced an average score of 80.2 (excellent) so that the E-YM website can be accepted by users (community and employees).

Abstract

The case of bullying among teenagers has become one of the most concerning problems in society. Therefore, innovative and interesting approaches need to be taken to overcome this. The development of multimedia game technology can be an innovation that can be offered to prevent the impact of bullying cases on adolescents. The purpose of this research is to develop a 3D simulation game application for bullying prevention based on role playing using finite state machine (FSM) and behavioral tree (BT). FSM is used for the control system on the player, while BT is used to control the behavior of Non-Player Character (NPC) through the level of decisions and actions that must be taken or executed. This research methodology uses multimedia development life cycle (MDLC), namely, determining game concepts, creating design scenarios, collecting asset materials, developing game applications, testing game applications, and distributing game applications. The test results using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) get a percentage value of 76%. The development of role playing-based bullying prevention simulation game applications in research is expected to be an alternative learning simulation media that is effective in preventing bullying for teenagers
