Abstract

This research focuses on human resource (HR) management at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) Ad Du'a, with the aim of analyzing the influence of HR management on teachers' professional competence and the success of Al-Qur'an learning. The background of this research is rooted in the challenges faced by TPQ in maintaining the quality of education amidst the high number of teacher resignations and suboptimal use of teaching aids. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey, involving 54 teachers and 760 students as a population, and using path analysis to test the hypotheses that have been determined. The research results show that HR management for Qur'an teachers has a significant effect on teacher professional competence with a contribution of 11.5%. In addition, teacher professional competence has a direct influence on learning success, contributing 46.5%. The analysis also reveals that HR management has a significant indirect influence on learning success through professional competence. This research reinforces the importance of systematic and effective human resource management, as well as the role of internal supervision and external supervision in improving the quality of learning. These findings provide insight for other educational institutions to optimize HR management to achieve better educational outcomes. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berfokus pada pengelolaan sumber daya manusia (SDM) di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) Ad Du’a, dengan tujuan menganalisis pengaruh manajemen SDM terhadap kompetensi profesional guru dan keberhasilan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Latar belakang penelitian ini berakar pada tantangan yang dihadapi TPQ dalam menjaga kualitas pendidikan di tengah tingginya angka pengunduran diri guru dan ketidakoptimalan penggunaan alat peraga. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei, melibatkan 54 guru dan 760 santri sebagai populasi, serta menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) untuk menguji hipotesis yang telah ditetapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen SDM guru Qur’an berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi profesional guru dengan kontribusi sebesar 11,5%. Selain itu, kompetensi profesional guru berpengaruh langsung terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran, berkontribusi sebesar 46,5%. Analisis juga mengungkapkan bahwa manajemen SDM memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung yang signifikan terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran melalui kompetensi profesional. Penelitian ini memperkuat pentingnya pengelolaan SDM yang sistematis dan efektif, serta peran pengawasan internal dan supervisi eksternal dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi lembaga pendidikan lain untuk mengoptimalkan manajemen SDM demi mencapai hasil pendidikan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the zoning system on the quality of education at SMPN 5 Pringgabaya, and how the school is addressing the challenges that arise from the zoning system in an effort to improve the quality of education. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The data collection techniques used are interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data condensation, data display, and verifying conclusions. The research results show that the impact of the zoning system on the quality of education has a significant effect on the quality of education, where the planning and implementation of learning have undergone changes. Teachers at SMPN 5 Pringgabaya are making adjustments in lesson planning to face The diversity of students and teaching methods have also changed, focusing more on student-centered learning to enhance learning effectiveness. In terms of assessment, schools are also making adjustments by adopting more flexible assessment approaches such as formative assessments, projects, achievements, and other authentic assessments. Furthermore, the way schools address the challenges arising from the zoning system is by organizing various development programs and teacher training to enhance creativity and adaptability skills in teachers to face the diversity of student backgrounds. The program includes the introduction of innovative learning methods, and schools involve parents as they are considered an important element in addressing the impact of the zoning system. This is evident as schools strengthen communication through regular meetings and the use of technology such as WhatsApp groups. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak sistem zonasi terhadap mutu pendidikan di SMPN 5 Pringgabaya, dan bagaimana cara pihak sekolah menghadapi tantangan yang muncul akibat sistem zonasi dalam usaha meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik wawancara obsrvasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kondensasi data, tampilan data, dan memverifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dampak sistem zonasi terhadap mutu pendidikan memiliki dampak yang begitu besar terhadap mutu pendidikan dimana perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran mengalami perubahan, guru-guru di SMPN 5 Pringgabaya melakukan penyesuaian dalam perencanaan pembelajaran untuk menghadapi keberagaman siswa, metode ajar juga mengalami perubahan dengan lebih berfokus pada pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa guna meningkatkan efektifitas belajar, dalam hal peneilaian sekolah juga melakukan penyesuaian dengan mengadopsi pendekatan penilaian yang lebih fleksibel seperti penilaian formatif, proyek, prestasi, dan penilaian autentik lainnya. Selanjutnya cara pihak sekolah menghadapi tantangan yang muncul akibat sistem zonasi dilakukan dengan cara mengadakan berbagai program pengembangan dan pelatihan guru untuk meningkatkan kreatifitas dan kemampuan adaptasi guru dalam menghadapi keberagaman latar belakang siswa, program tersebut mencangkup pengenalan metode pembelajaran inovatif, sekolah melibatkan orang tua karena dianggap sebagai elemen penting dalam mengatasi dampak sistem zonasi, terlihat dimana sekolah memperkuat komunikasi melalui pertemuan rutin dan penggunaan teknologi seperti group WhatsApp.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of students' learning readiness on the implementation of differentiated learning to achieve independent curriculum goals in a seventh-grade class at SMPIT Putri Al-Hanif, Cilegon, Indonesia. The theoretical framework emphasizes the dynamic nature of readiness, distinct from innate ability, highlighting the importance of aligning assignments with students' abilities and interests. Employing qualitative descriptive research, the study involves 23 participants, utilizing assessments, interviews, and observations. Results reveal diverse levels of learning readiness influenced by internal and environmental factors. The differentiated learning approach caters to individual needs, emphasizing process, product, content, and learning environment adjustments. Findings underscore the crucial role of teachers in organizing varied learning strategies to enhance students' readiness and overall learning quality within the context of the independent curriculum. This research contributes valuable insights into addressing learning gaps and optimizing educational outcomes in the Era of Revolution 5.0.

Abstract

This article discusses using an application for Education called Nearpod. Nearpod is an application with real-time insights into student understanding through interactive lessons, gamified learning, formative assessment, and other exciting activities. Nearpod can be personalized instruction for individual students, small group assignments, or homework to differentiate and allow students to work independently, which all this feature in line with the framework of Kurikulum Merdeka. This research was done by using qualitative approach. In this article, the author wants to find students' and teacher perceptions or feedback about their experience learning and teaching English by using Nearpod in the classroom. the interview was used as the instrument in collecting main data. Hence, 5 students became the sample in this research. Besides that, the author also provides the observation as the supporting data to look on how the student engage with the apps. The data were taken from a school in Tangerang, Banten province. This school has been applying of Kurikulum merdeka for 4 years. In which, this will have a strong bond between the demand in both curriculum and this app. The result of the research shows thematic dimensions of positive and negative feedbacks. Those are memory of learning retention, creativity and critical thinking, new environment experience, advantages and disadvantages for future suggestions.

Abstract

This article Investigates the feedback of students toward Capcut application for Extensive Speaking. It is assumed that speaking is a difficult skill to do since for EFL recognized it as undaily spoken. In this article, the author wants to find students' feedback on the apps after the author give them how to design personal speaking video in Capcut. This research is mixed method by using the interview and survey as the method in collecting data. Hence, fIve students became the sample in this research. Besides that, the author also provides the observation as the supporting data to look on how the student engage with the apps. The data were taken from a school in Pamayaran, Banten province. This. It makes the proper subject to collect the data from these students. The findings demonstrate that the Cacput apps give students a new lease on life in terms of motivation, Confidence, and Creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the subjective experiences, perceptions, and challenges faced by English teachers and students in implementing the WordWall application in their classroom environment, especially when used together with Chromebooks to learn vocabulary. The research method used is qualitative by collecting data through interviews, questionnaires and observation. The results of interviews with teachers showed that WordWall was assessed positively in increasing student engagement and vocabulary understanding, even though several technical challenges such as slow internet connections were encountered. Student questionnaires also yielded positive responses, with the majority of students feeling more engaged and their vocabulary understanding improved after using WordWall. Observation results indicate that WordWall in combination with Chromebooks is effective in creating an interactive learning environment that facilitates student engagement. In conclusion, using WordWall with Chromebooks can be an effective tool in enhancing English language learning in the classroom, by offering students an engaging and interactive learning experience.

Abstract

This study comperhends the Student and Teacher perspective by utilizing Bamboozle platforms in EFL Secondary Classroom. This study is designed by applying qualitative approach. The data sources taken in one of the school in Banten Province. Georaphically supported and facilitated by technology and also boosted by the needs of the curriculum to advance the technological context. The English teacher and Eive Students were Semi Structured Interviewed and observed, supported by the documentation. The data analyzed by using thematic analysis shows that, the study highlights students' increased readiness to speak in English. Because of Bamboozle's gamiEication, users are more motivated and engaged, which promotes a more positive attitude toward language learning. The study also reveals how to create a fun learning environment. With its dynamic and comfortable environment, Bamboozle's interactive features and adaptive design accommodate a wide range of learning preferences, allowing students to progress through language lessons at their own speed. Furthermore, studies show that incorporating Bamboozle into the classroom makes it easier for teachers to manage. The platform's Elexible tools and easy-to-use interface help teachers organize and run their classes effectively. Teachers are able to concentrate on providing high-quality instruction, encouraging effective communication, and customizing lessons to Eit the speciEic requirements of EFL learners because of this streamlining effect.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the English language learning process at nonformal education namely Kumon Citraland Puri Serang. The objectives of this research are 1) to examine how the strategy used by Kumon citraland on teaching English. 2) to investigate what is the media used by Kumon Citraland Puri Serang to teach English. 3) to analyze the material used by Kumon Citraland Puri Serang on teaching English. 4) to analyze how to evaluate students. This study is descriptive qualitative research that used interviews, observation and documentation to collect data. Based on the research results, it shows that Kumon Citraland Puri Serang has its own learning strategy which is different from other courses, where Kumon Citraland uses a placement test to determine the starting point/basic level that will be taught according to the student's abilities. Kumon Citraland Serang also uses several learning media including audio and CD players, text books, practice sheets, the My Kumon application, and Kumon Konek. The material taught at Kumon is very diverse, starting from the lowest level, namely level 7A, to the highest level, namely level O. Each student will move up a level when they have completed the material at one level, namely 200 practice sheets. As evaluation material, Kumon Citralan Puri also provides several summary questions from each level to find out how far students understand the material that has been taught. These questions consist of listening, writing, reading comprehension and speaking skills.

Abstract

Early childhood education is important in forming the foundation of children's development. This article compares kindergarten education in the United States and Indonesia, focusing on learning curriculum, methods and assessment. This article aims to review the literature about the kindergarten education system in the United States, prioritizing a flexible, learner-centered approach. The literature study carried out included reviewing articles that were relevant to the title. The articles were searched on the Google Scholar search database using three keywords, namely kindergarten, Indonesian, United States. Then, articles were selected based on the year of publication (2020 to 2024), as well as articles with title continuity published in accredited national journals Sinta 1-6. The results of the reduction of 15 articles were used as study material. The impact of this article's study can provide new insights in developing more effective kindergarten education policies and practices. ABSTRAKPendidikan anak usia dini memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk fondasi perkembangan anak. Artikel ini membahas perbandingan pendidikan taman kanak-kanak (TK) di Amerika Serikat dan Indonesia dengan fokus pada kurikulum pembelajaran, metode dan penilaian. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengkaji literatur tentang sistem pendidikan TK di Amerika Serikat mengutamakan pendekatan fleksibel yang berpusat pada peserta didik. Studi literatur yang dilakukan meliputi pengkajian artikel yang memiliki relavansi dengan judul, artikel ditelusuri pada database pencarian google scholar dengan menggunakan tiga kata kunci yaitu Taman Kanak-Kanak, Indonesia, Amerika Serikat. Kemudian artikel diseleksi berdasarkan tahun publikasi (2020 hingga 2024), serta artikel dengan kesinambungan judul yang terpublikasi pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi Sinta 1-6. Hasil reduksi artikel sejumlah 15 yang digunakan untuk bahan kajian. Dampak pengkajian artikel ini dapat memberikan wawasan baru dalam pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik pendidikan TK yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the KOKUI (Collaboration, Creativity, Performance, and Innovation) learning community in improving teacher professional competence in Pekalongan Regency. KOKUI, initiated by the driving teachers of Pekalongan Regency, provides a collaborative space for teachers to share good practices, develop innovations, and improve skills in accordance with the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a policy analysis approach to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning community in the context of the Merdeka Belajar policy. The results of the study indicate that KOKUI is effective in encouraging active teacher participation through online and offline activities, such as webinars, discussions, and workshops. The local government provides support for KOKUI community activities, although it is still limited to non-financial aspects. However, challenges such as lack of funding and the need for further evaluation still need to be addressed so that this program can continue to have a positive impact on teacher competence. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi komunitas belajar KOKUI (Kolaborasi, Kreativitas, Unjuk Kerja, dan Inovasi) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di Kabupaten Pekalongan. KOKUI, yang diprakarsai oleh guru penggerak Kabupaten Pekalongan, menyediakan ruang kolaboratif bagi para guru untuk berbagi praktik baik, mengembangkan inovasi, serta meningkatkan keterampilan sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis kebijakan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas komunitas belajar dalam konteks kebijakan Merdeka Belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KOKUI efektif dalam mendorong partisipasi aktif guru melalui kegiatan daring dan luring, seperti webinar, diskusi, dan workshop. Pemerintah daerah memberikan dukungan terhadap kegiatan kombel KOKUI meskipun masih terbatas pada aspek non-finansial. Namun, tantangan seperti kurangnya pendanaan dan kebutuhan akan evaluasi lebih lanjut tetap perlu diatasi agar program ini dapat terus memberikan dampak positif bagi kompetensi guru.
