Abstract

Dryland problems are economic and social problems, especially dryland damage caused by imbalances between ecosystems. One solution to achieve ecosystem sustainability in dryland sustainable agriculture is the use of maggot cultivation. The research analysis method used is a descriptive method and qualitative method. The data collected was obtained from primary data through interviews with related parties. Secondary data is obtained from references such as journals, books, and publications of related institutions. The results showed that the maggot life cycle consisted of the Black Soldier Fly (BSF), egg, caterpillar, prepupa, and pupa stages. The utilization of organic waste in all cycles in maggot cultivation is very necessary from the egg stage to the pupa stage. On the other hand, Maggot cultivation produces organic fertilizer that can be used in farming land to increase the productivity of farming land, especially dry land. Broadly speaking, maggot cultivation contributes to and benefits agriculture, especially in economic, social, and ecosystem aspects. Contributions in the economic aspect, namely increasing profits, social aspects, namely being the ability to handle waste on a large scale, and ecosystem aspects, namely maintaining inter-ecosystem sustainability to support sustainable agriculture. Abstract

The double cropping model (double raw) for peanut corn is the introduction of technology applied by farmers to maximize land potential and increase farmers' income. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of applying the technology introduction of the double cropping model (double raw) of peanut corn on dry land in West Muna Regency. The research method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative research. The number of respondents was 44 people, with details of 22 people with double planting and 22 people with monoculture. The analytical tool used in this research is benefit cost ratio (MBCR) analysis. The results showed that the income of farmers applying the double cropping model (double raw) was greater, namely IDR3.285.386/ha/MT compared to the monoculture model, which was IDR1.108.485/ha/MT. As a result of applying the double cropping model (double raw) there is an excess of production costs of IDR 537,389/ha/MT, compared to maize monoculture. However, there was an excess of revenue, amounting to IDR 2.714.290/ha/MT. So that the results of the MBCR analysis are 5.05. This means that for each additional input in the double raw corn – peanut cropping pattern of IDR1.000, it will increase income by IDR5.050.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction effect of the composition of the planting medium and the application of leri water on the growth and yield of lettuce (Lactucasavita L.) verticulture system in dry land. To determine the effect of planting media composition on the growth and yield of lettuce (Lactucasavita L.) verticulture system on dry land. To determine the effect of leri water application on the growth and yield of lettuce (Lactucasavita L.) verticulture system in dry land. This study used a split plot design (RPT) with 2 factors consisting of a main plot and subplots. The main plot was the planting medium, (M) which consisted of: soil : biochar (1:1) (M1), soil : guano (1:1) (M2), soil : biochar: guano (1:1:1) ( M3) and subplots were leri water, (A) consisting of 20 mL/L (A1), 60 mL/L (A2), 100 mL/L (A3). An interaction occurred in the observation of total plant fresh weight and shoot fresh weight with the best treatment being the composition of the planting medium soil: biochar: guano (1:1:1) with the addition of 60 mL/L of water. The composition of the growing media affected the observation of plant height 7-28 DAP, number of leaves 7 and 14 DAP, total plant fresh weight, shoot fresh weight, root fresh weight and root length with the best treatment being the composition of the single planting medium soil:biochar:guano ( 1:1:1). Giving leri water had a significant effect on the number of leaves observed at 14 and 28 DAP, total fresh weight of plants and fresh weight of shoots with the best treatment in giving leri water 60 mL/L of water.

Abstract

The effectiveness of planting time on the growth of production of sweet corn (zea mays saccharata sturt) and peanut (Arachis hypogaea) in an intercropping system, Ruly awidiyantini and Lia Kristiana, Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Madura. peanuts is by several planting treatments and spacing. This study aims to determine the response of several planting treatments and plant spacing to the growth and production of maize (Zea mays) in an intercropping system with peanuts. The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatment levels, namely P0 planting at the same time, P1 planting a difference of 1 week and P2 a difference of 2 weeks. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), weight of wet ear (g), and weight of dry ear (g). The results showed that the effectiveness of several treatments and planting time of sweet corn (Zea mays) in the peanut intercropping system gave a very significant effect on the parameters of sweet corn height, number of leaves, weight of wet cobs and weight ofdry cobs but had no significant effect on number of branches peanuts. The planting time treatment was still the most effective in responding to sweet corn (Zea mays) in the peanut intercropping system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the partnership between Corn Farmers and PT Avan Pasuruan in Singosari District. The partnership pattern in this study is the Agribusiness Operational Cooperation (KOA) partnership pattern, in which the partner group provides land, facilities, and labor, while the partner companies provide capital and corn seeds. The partnership as a facilitator between the Margo Utomo I farmer groups, farmers get cheap fertilizer and corn seeds with an average value of 73%. Partnership as a motivator, namely PT Avan Pasuruan encourages farmers to always work together among group members with an average value of 87%. Kemitraan as a communicator, namely PT Avan Pasuruan conveys information through electronic media and always conveys the latest information about corn plants with an average value of 89%. And finally, as the role of farmer groups and farmers, there is a division of tasks between members to achieve group goals in partnership with an average value of 88%. Data analysis in this study uses descriptive qualitative. This study uses validity and reliability tests. In the validity test, this study has a correlation coefficient that is greater than r table 0.449 (r table value for n = 32) so that all indicators of the research variables are valid. The reliability test has a Cronbach alpha coefficient which is quite large from 0.60 so that it can be said that all measurements of each variable from the questionnaire are reliable, which means that the questionnaire used in this study is a reliable questionnaire. Abstract

Gourami (Osphronemus gouramy) is one type of freshwater fish native to Indonesia that has long been consumed and has been cultivated by the community because of the delicious taste of meat, and nutritious so that gourami have high economic value. This research was conducted at the UPT LKIL from January 3 to January 31, 2023 with the aim of determining water quality measurements in gourami hatcheries (Osphronemus gouramy). Water quality measurements in pearl catfish hatcheries (Clarias gariepinus) include pH, temperature, and DO (Dissolved Oxygen) carried out in spawning ponds. The average temperature value produced was 25.1 ° C in the morning and 27.6 ° C in the afternoon, the average pH value produced was 7 in the morning and evening, and the average value of DO (Dissolved Oxygen) obtained was 5.4 mg / L in the morning and 6.6 mg / L in the afternoon. The results of water quality in gourami spawning ponds (Osphronemus gouramy) are in accordance with previous studies and have met SNI quality standards.

Abstract

Peanut (Arachis hypogaea) is an agricultural commodity that is needed by the community, bothas human food and industrial raw material. This study aims to determine consumercharacteristics, product quality of roasted peanuts, analyze consumer preferences for theattributes of roasted peanut products. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis.Based on the results of the research and analysis that has been carried out, it can beconcluded that roasted peanut products with the "comfortable" brand are consumerpreferences at UD. Al-Murtadha, Pamekasan Regency, which has special characteristics interms of taste, quality, price, packaging and durability so that consumers agree with roastedpeanut products. Abstract

The tourism industry is one of the country's sources of foreign exchange and its development isexpected to encourage national economic growth. This research aims to determine the potential forrice field tourism and strategies for developing tourist villages in increasing tourist attraction for ricefield tourism in Bajang Village, Pakong District, Pamekasan Regency. The research method usesqualitative descriptive analysis and sampling using the Purposive Sampling method because theresearch informants were determined deliberately. The data analysis method uses the SWOTanalysis method to determine the strategy for developing rice field tourism. The results of thisresearch indicate that the appropriate strategy for developing Rice Field Tourism is the SO Strategy,namely adding contemporary facilities by combining agricultural concepts such as buildingagrotourism facilities, agricultural themed cafes or restaurants and agricultural-based recreationfacilities, creating agricultural-based events, publishing on social media.

Abstract

The tighter and sharper competition in the cigarette industry, causing companies to strive so that the products produced can be sold and can dominate the market and get optimal profits. The purpose to be achieved in this study is to find out the picture of promotion implementation and to determine the effect of promotion with sales volume through a promotion mix, namely, public relations, advertising, sales promotion, individual sales, direct sales. In this study, a quantitative descriptive research method was used that used a survey method. The location of the research was carried out deliberately based on the consideration that in Lawangan Daya Village this is the place of the CV Cigarette Marketing Office. Ayunda Permata Sejahtera. The instruments in this study were questionnaires and Likert scales. The respondents in this study numbered 30. The data analysis used was multiple linear regression. The results showed that public relations had a calculated t value< t table (0.206<1.69), advertising had a calculated t value< t table (2.495>1.69), individual sales had a calculated t value< t table (0.963<1.69), sales promotion had a calculated t value< t table(1.714>1.69), direct sales had a calculated t value< t table (3.598>1.69). Of the five variables used, there are two influential variables that have a real influence on increasing sales, namely public relations, individual sales.

Abstract

The development of cigarette factories has an impact on farmers' decision-making in changing professions and decreasing the level of food production due to the small population due to industrial needs, and the relatively low ability of farmers in accessing technology, capital and institutional strength of farmers, as well as the increasing development of the cigarette industry and fierce competition today. Based on the above background, this study aims to analyze the factors that influence farmers' decisions in changing professions to non-agriculture in Jarin Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency.The location of the study was determined intentionally (purposive) based on the consideration that CV. Ayunda Permata Sejahtera, located in West Hamlet, Jarin Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency, includes a growing cigarette factory in the Jarin area, Pademawu District. The sampling method used in this study uses the slovin formula, with the number of samples to be taken as many as 31 samples from 110 populations. The data analysis used is: Logistic regression analysis so that factors that influence farmers' decision making are obtained in achieving the profession of becoming a cigarette employee at CV. Ayunda. Through this analysis, three variables were obtained that influenced a person's decision to change professions, namely job vacancies with significant data of 0.061, distance with significant data of 0.083 and economic environment with significant data of 0.048.
