Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the benefits of corn farming of Bisi-228 variety on the level of welfare. This research was conducted in Wakadia Village, Watopute District, Muna Regency. The population of this study were all corn farmers of Bisi-2 variety as many as 236 people. While the number of samples was determined by purposive sampling method so that the number of samples in this study were 35 people. The data analysis used is welfare analysis through the UMP approach and benefit cost ratio (BCR). The result of this research is that maize farming with Bisi-228 variety is able to provide greater income than maize farming in other areas, which is IDR. 19,047,324/MT or IDR. 3,174,554/month and farming is also able to be profitable for farmers and is feasible to be developed because of the BCR value. the amount is Rp. 4.83. Bisi-228 maize farming also provides benefits for the welfare of farmers, as many as 19 people or 54% are classified as prosperous with a monthly income greater than the Southeast Sulawesi UMP while the remaining 16 people or 46% are categorized as not prosperous because the amount of income earned is below the Sulawesi UMP. Southeast.

Abstract

Optimizing efforts to increase food security requires innovation in increasing the effectiveness of commodity flows through better coordination. One of the Indonesian commodities that has great potential but has so far received little attention is Seaweed, which is one of the most widely produced and consumed plant commodities in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the efficiency of seaweed farming in Pekandangan East Village, Bluto District, Sumenep Regency. The analysis used in this study using Revenue Cost Ratio (R/C) is cost efficiency. The results of the research on the efficiency of seaweed cultivation in Pekandangan East Village, Bluto District, Sumenep Regency are: fixed costs in seaweed farming are Rp. 1575000 and variable costs are Rp. 316000 so the total cost of seaweed farming is Rp. 1891000, revenue is Rp. 540000 and profit is Rp. 1351000. The value of R/C Ratio > 1, which is 2.50, means that seaweed production farming in Pekandangan Timur Village, Bluto District, Sumenep Regency, efficient and profitable because with a capital of 2.00 you will get a profit of Rp. 2.50.

Abstract

Fishermen's wives are able to provide for the daily requirements of their families by working as family members. Quantitative research is used here. on the findings of a straightforward regression test. The t table in this study is known to be 0.67874 for degrees of freedom df 60-2 = 58 with a significance level of 0.05. The table above shows the t value of 6.034 for the variable of economic improvement. because (6.034>0.67874) in the t count t table. Based on the findings, the R2/RSquare coefficient of determination is 0.386, or 38.6%. The impact of economic growth on the function of fishermen's wives is 66.2 percent, or 0.662 percent, in magnitude. A joint/simultaneous test is also part of this investigation. The f test can be used to perform this joint test. It can be deduced from this f test that the significance level is 0.000> 0.05 and the calculated F value is 36,412 f table 4,007 that the t test and the f Ha test are accepted and Ho is rejected, indicating that the role of the fisherman's wife has a significant impact on the variable of increasing the home economy. stairway to success in Tlanakan District, Pamekasan Regency's Branta Pesisir Village.

Abstract

Pegantenan is one of the sub-districts located in Pamekasan Regency, Madura where many farmers cultivate tobacco. However, now many farmers have switched commodities by planting cayenne pepper. With the commodity transfer, it is necessary to conduct a study to analyze the income of cayenne pepper farming and the feasibility of farming so that the farmer's decision to switch the commodity is the right decision. This research was conducted to determine the income of cayenne pepper farming and the feasibility of farming cayenne pepper in Tlagah Village, Pegantenan District. This research uses income analysis (π) and feasibility by calculating the R / C ratio and B / C ratio. The results of the analysis show that the average income of cayenne pepper farmers for one planting season is IDR 12.635.000. The result of the R / C ratio analysis is 3.35, where R / C> 1 so that the cayenne pepper farming in Tlagah Village is profitable. The analysis result of B / C ratio is 2.35, where B / C> 0 so that the cayenne pepper farming in Tlagah Village is feasible and provides benefits for farmers.

Abstract

Iincreased capture fisheries production at UPT. P3 Pasongsongan is supported by an increase in the number of visiting ships. This in crease in productionmust bebalanced whit proper management. The porpose of this study was to determine the condition of the facilities at UPT. P3 Pasongsongan, knows the management of activities and facilities at UPT. P3 Pasongsongan, and analyzes the right strategy to be applied in the management of P3 Pasongsongan, so that it can provide useful outputs for all aspects related to P3 Pasongsongan. The method used in this research is descriptive method with SWOT analysis to identify various factors in order to formulate a good and appropriate management strategy.based on the results of the analysis that the existing facilities at UPT. P3 pairs are in good condition and still suitable for use, likewise the activities starting from fish marketing, fish processing, and fish marketing are going well, the only constraints are that TPI is not good and ther is no coold storage that can hinder activities in UPT. P3 Psongsongan. While the SWOT anlysis obtained is the result of imlementing the S-O strategy (Streght-Opportunity) which in its applications uses strength to take advantage of opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of planting distance on the growth and yield of peanut crops and optimal planting distances that can increase peanut growth. This research was conducted in Keppo Village of Pamekasan District Galis District November 2021 - January 2022. The research design uses a RandomIzed Group Design (RAK) which consists of 5 types of planting systems with 4 repeats so that there are 20 plots of treatment. Data that has been obtained using diversity analysis (ujiF) with a 5%. If you get a real influence, then continue to use BNT (Small Difference) with a 5% The results showed that the influence of the planting distance of peanuts that are superimposed with citrus plants has a noticeable influence on variable number of pods, weight of land pods, weight of 100 pods and crop yield perhektar. The most optimal peanut planting distance of all treatments is JT 3 (40 x 20 cm).

Abstract

Gouramy seeds are very susceptible to changes in water quality and are easily stressed, the solution is to provide shelter as a place for gouramy fish to take shelter. This study aims to determine the effect of providing shelter on the survival rate of gouramy (Oshpronemus gouramy) fry. The method used in this study was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were control, the number of shelters 10 units, 20 units and 30 units. The survival rate data were analyzed using a regression test and continued with a correlation test. Based on the results of the study, the treatment with the highest survival rate was 20 units (99,09%), then 30 units (98,63%), 10 units (98,63%) and the lowest survival rate was control (94,44%). The results of the analysis of variance showed that the provision of shelter had a significant effect on the survival rate of gouramy fry (α= 0,05).

Abstract

Food diversification based on local food is one of the alternative efforts in anticipating food crises. Basically, the food consumption patterns of the population will generally be different and change over time, where youth have a strategic role in the future. Therefore, this study aims to record the current preference of a potential substitute for rice. The research was conducted in the area of the Banau College of Agriculture and Entrepreneurship, West Halmahera Regency, North Maluku. The results of the study indicate that there has been a change in the pattern of youth staple food consumption from local foods such as sago to rice. Based on consumption patterns, only some youths make sago a staple food. Rice is still the main preference of youth as staple food in everyday life. While sago is the second priority as a staple food in the menu of youth consumption patterns. There are several factors that cause changes in consumption patterns, including: 1) development policies and food policies on one food commodity, namely rice; 2) Conversion of sago forests into paddy fields; 3) public perception of sago; and 4) the culture of eating rice brought by transmigrants. Therefore, systematic efforts are needed from both the government, the private sector and the community to achieve food security. The local government is expected to be able to promote food diversification programs. The private sector can develop local food (sago) into derivative products that can be accepted by the wider community, such as noodles, bread, flour, cakes, etc. From the community side, efforts to diversify can be started from the family by diversifying daily staple foods. Society as the smallest unit in a country has an important role in the success of food diversification.

Abstract

Spiders are the main natural enemies (predators) for pests that attack crops. Knowledge about the relationship between Arthropods found on agricultural land and the bacteria carrying these animals, which are symbiotic, still needs to be found in Indonesia. Spiders are important biocontrol agents in agricultural land. This study examined the relationship between bacteria potentially carried by spiders, as members of the Phylum Arthropoda, in chili plants grown in agroecosystems. This study aimed to determine the presence of bacteria carried by spiders in chili planting areas of the Banyumas Regency. This study found a species of spider (Oxyopes lineatipes) collected from chili crops in 3 (three) sub-districts in Banyumas Regency. From these spiders, 5 (five) bacteria isolates were found, both from inside the body and from the surface of the spider's body. The results of the hypersensitivity test showed that 2 (two) isolates were non-pathogenic bacteria, while the other 3 (three) isolates had potential as plant pathogens. However, further research is still being carried out regarding identifying the bacterial species found.

Abstract

Soybean is generally used as a raw material for making tofu. Milk is a food ingredient, which contains all the nutrients needed by the body. One of the products that can be made with this milk ingredient is Milk Tofu. Vinegar/acetic acid is an organic compound containing a carboxylic acid group, which is known as a sour taste and aroma in food. The research method used was the experimental method, the experimental design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely the concentration of vinegar and the addition of milk with treatment P1 (20% + 1 liter of milk), P2 (25% vinegar +2 liters of milk), P3 (vinegar 30% + 3 liters of milk) with 3 treatments and repeated 3 times. Parameters observed were curd yield, texture and taste. If there is an effect then proceed with the DMRT test at a level of 5%. The results of the research on the highest curd yield were P2 (25% vinegar + 2 liters of milk) with a value of 1.94%. Meanwhile, preference for taste and texture was at P3 (30% vinegar + 3 liters of milk) with a value of 7, and for texture the highest score was at 6.83. While the best determination in research on vinegar treatment is 25%. In conclusion, the effect of this addition is influenced by the amount of vinegar and milk so that it can produce the texture and taste of curd.
