Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of strengthening children’s character based on cultural values amid the rapid pace of modernization, which has the potential to erode local values, particularly within Balinese indigenous communities. The focus of this research is to examine the role of women as agents of informal education in strengthening children’s character based on culture in the indigenous community of Legian, Bali. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, involving women (mothers) as primary informants, as well as community leaders and children as supporting informants. Data analysis was conducted interactively through the processes of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that women play a central role in children’s informal education through habituation, role modeling, communication, and children’s involvement in cultural practices such as preparing banten (ritual offerings), participating in traditional ceremonies, using the Balinese language, and engaging in social activities such as ngayah (communal voluntary service). Women also function as social controllers and facilitators in maintaining the continuity of cultural values amid the influences of modernization. In conclusion, this study affirms that women are key actors in transmitting cultural values and shaping children’s character in a contextual and sustainable manner. Therefore, they make a significant contribution to cultural preservation and the strengthening of the younger generation’s identity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the patterns of students’ verbal and nonverbal participation at each stage of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model in history learning in grade XI of SMA Negeri 7 Semarang. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with history teachers and eleventh-grade students as the research subjects. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that students’ participation develops progressively across each stage of TPS. In the think stage, participation appears in the form of cognitive engagement and nonverbal activities such as reading and note-taking. In the pair stage, verbal participation increases through paired discussions that encourage students’ confidence in expressing opinions, asking questions, and responding to peers. In the share stage, participation is reflected in oral communication as well as nonverbal responses such as attention and feedback during presentations. In addition, students’ participation is influenced by internal factors such as self-confidence and learning readiness, as well as external factors including teaching strategies, opportunities to speak, and teacher appreciation. Therefore, the Think Pair Share model is effective in promoting students’ active engagement, both verbally and nonverbally, in history learning.

Abstract

The development of globalization, characterized by advances in information and communication technology, has had a significant impact on the world of education, especially in the formation of the character of students. Widespread access to information brings great opportunities to increase global knowledge and insight, but also presents challenges in the form of the inclusion of external cultural values that have the potential to shift local cultural values. This research aims to analyze the internalization of the value of local wisdom in social studies learning in elementary schools as an effort to shape the global character of students and their relationship with the achievement of SDGs 4 regarding quality education. The method used is literature review by collecting, reviewing and analyzing various scientific sources such as journals, books and relevant documents. The results of the study show that local wisdom has an important role as a source of material as well as a contextual approach that is able to increase understanding of concepts, life skills, and instill character values such as mutual cooperation, responsibility and tolerance. Internalization strategies are carried out through active learning such as Project Based Learning, Problem Based Learning, and contextual approaches. The role of the teacher is also very important as a facilitator, guide and role model. This integration supports the realization of inclusive, relevant and sustainable education.

Abstract

The exponential digital transformation has catalyzed complex non-military threats, including illegal online gambling, disinformation, and cybercrime, which jeopardize social stability and national resilience, particularly among Indonesia’s youth. Despite the urgency of digital regulation as a mitigation tool, academic analysis regarding the role of Minister of Communication and Digital Regulation Number 9 of 2026 remains limited. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the substance, mechanisms, and implications of this regulation as an instrument for mitigating non-military threats and strengthening youth national resilience by integrating legal, defense, and digital governance perspectives. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using systematic library research. Data were gathered from primary and secondary sources published between 2021 and 2025, subsequently analyzed through qualitative content analysis and source triangulation. The findings indicate that effective digital regulation must be built upon three integrated pillars: an adaptive legal framework, comprehensive technical data governance standards, and responsive multi-stakeholder institutional mechanisms. Regulation No. 9 of 2026 demonstrates high strategic relevance through access restrictions on online gambling, user identity verification, and cross-agency law enforcement coordination. Furthermore, the integration of data protection and digital literacy contributes significantly to the national resilience of the younger generation. Theoretically, this research offers an integrative analytical framework connecting regulatory compliance theory with risk-based information governance. Practically, it provides evidence-based policy recommendations for stakeholders to design effective digital regulations that protect the youth and fortify Indonesia’s national resilience in the digital era. ABSTRAK Transformasi digital eksponensial memicu ancaman nirmiliter seperti judi online, disinformasi, dan kejahatan siber yang mengancam stabilitas sosial serta ketahanan nasional, khususnya bagi generasi muda. Meskipun krusial, kajian mengenai peran Peraturan Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital Nomor 9 Tahun 2026 dalam memperkuat ketahanan nasional masih sangat terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis secara komprehensif substansi, mekanisme, dan implikasi regulasi tersebut sebagai instrumen mitigasi ancaman nirmiliter melalui integrasi perspektif hukum, pertahanan, dan tata kelola digital. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka sistematis (systematic library research). Data dikumpulkan dari sumber primer dan sekunder periode 2021–2025, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi kualitatif dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa regulasi digital yang efektif harus dibangun di atas tiga pilar: kerangka hukum adaptif, standar teknis tata kelola data, dan mekanisme multi-stakeholder. Permen Komdigi No. 9 Tahun 2026 terbukti memiliki relevansi strategis tinggi melalui pembatasan akses judi online, verifikasi identitas, dan koordinasi penegakan hukum lintas instansi. Selain itu, integrasi perlindungan data serta literasi digital ditemukan berkontribusi signifikan terhadap penguatan ketahanan nasional generasi muda. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini menawarkan kerangka analisis integratif yang menghubungkan teori kepatuhan regulasi dengan tata kelola informasi berbasis risiko. Secara praktis, studi ini memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan berbasis bukti bagi pemangku kepentingan untuk melindungi generasi muda dan memperkokoh ketahanan nasional Indonesia di era digital.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of ice breaking, describe the role of ice breaking, and analyze changes in students' interest in learning geography in class X at SMA Nusaputera. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Subject in the study consist of 1 geography teachers and 32 tenth-grade students at SMA Nusaputera, who were selected thru purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted thru (1) Data reduction, (2) Data presentation, (3) Conclusion drawing. The results of this study are (1) the implementation of ice-breaking activities at the beginning, in between, and at the end of the learning session can create a more conducive, enjoyable, and engaging classroom atmosphere. (2) Ice breaking activities play an important role in enhancing students' readiness to learn, concentration, and active participation during the learning process. (3) There are positive changes in students' interest in learning, reflected in the affective aspect (enthusiasm and enjoyment), cognitive aspect (increased attention and focus), and conative aspect (active participation, such as asking questions, responding, and participating in discussions). Therefore, ice breaking can be considered an effective learning support strategy to enhance students' interest in geography, especially at the high school level. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi ice breaking, mendeskripsikan peran ice breaking, dan menganalisis perubahan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi kelas X di SMA Nusaputera. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian terdiri dari 1 Guru geografi dan 32 siswa kelas X di SMA Nusaputera. Analisis data dilakukan melalui (1) Reduksi data, (2) Penyajian data, (3) Penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) pelaksanaan kegiatan ice breaking di awal, di sela-sela, dan di akhir sesi pembelajaran mampu menciptakan suasana kelas yang lebih kondusif, menyenangkan, dan menarik. (2) kegiatan ice breaking berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesiapan belajar, konsentrasi, dan partisipasi aktif siswa selama proses pembelajaran. (3) terdapat perubahan positif dalam minat belajar siswa, yang tercermin dalam aspek afektif (antusiasme dan kesenangan), aspek kognitif (peningkatan perhatian dan fokus), dan aspek konatif (partisipasi aktif, seperti bertanya, merespons, dan berpartisipasi dalam diskusi). Oleh karena itu, ice breaking dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai strategi pendukung pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran geografi, terutama pada tingkat sekolah menengah atas.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low level of students’ learning retention in basic economic concepts, where students tend to understand the material during the learning process but experience difficulties in recalling the information after a certain period of time. This study aims to analyze the effect of using mind mapping media on students’ learning retention. The method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest. The research subjects consisted of 47 students from the Economic Education Study Program at Universitas Negeri Medan. The research instrument was an objective multiple-choice test consisting of 15 questions developed based on concept understanding indicators. The data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test and N-Gain test. The results of the study indicate a significant improvement between pretest and posttest scores, as shown by a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). In addition, the N-Gain analysis result of 0.86 falls into the high category, indicating that the use of mind mapping media is effective in improving students’ learning retention. Therefore, it can be concluded that mind mapping media has a positive effect on students’ learning retention in basic economic concepts and can serve as an alternative learning strategy to enhance the quality of instruction in higher education. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat retensi belajar mahasiswa pada materi konsep dasar ekonomi, di mana mahasiswa cenderung mampu memahami materi saat pembelajaran berlangsung, namun mengalami kesulitan dalam mengingat kembali informasi tersebut dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media mind mapping terhadap tingkat retensi belajar mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-experimental berupa one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 47 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Medan. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes objektif pilihan ganda sebanyak 15 soal yang disusun berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (<0,05). Selain itu, hasil analisis N-Gain sebesar 0,86 berada pada kategori tinggi, yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media mind mapping efektif dalam meningkatkan retensi belajar mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media mind mapping berpengaruh positif terhadap retensi belajar mahasiswa pada materi konsep dasar ekonomi, serta dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract

Background: MSMEs provide an essential economic function for Tomohon City. However, expansion and access to formal finance are sometimes impeded by inadequate financial management practices. The objectives of this research are to examine the financial management practices of MSMEs in Matani Satu, Matani Dua, and Matani Tiga, to determine the factors that help or hinder these practices, and to assess the degree to which these businesses understand (SAK EMKM). Procedures for doing research: With the use of basic quantitative data analysis, this research takes a descriptive qualitative method.  Ten (MSMEs) were chosen at random for in-depth interviews and surveys. The data was analyzed by comparing the results from the field with theories and empirical studies of financial management that have been published within the last five years. Outcome also Discussion: research outcome assumed financial management practices of MSMEs in Central Tomohon are at a subsistence level, characterized by the phenomenon of mixing funds acknowledged by 90% of respondents, as well as manual and reactive recording. The main inhibiting factords are low financial literacy and a knowledge – action gap, where awareness of the importance of record-keeping is not matched by technical skills and time. This gap is exacerbated by the very limited reach of local government intervention (only 10% of respondents have participated I training). The fatal consequence is a zero percent (0%) implementation rate of the MSME Financial Accounting Standards (SAK), resulting in 80% of MSME loan applications being rejected due to the inability to present credible financial reports. ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: UMKM berfungsi besar guna perekonomian Kota Tomohon. Namun praktik Pengelolaan Keuangan yang buruk sering menjadi hambatan utama pertumbuhan dan akses permodalan formal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis praktik pengelolaan keuangan mengidentifikasi factor penghambat dan pendukung, serta mengukur Tingkat pemahaman UMKM pada  SAK EMKM Kelurahan Matani Satu, Matani Dua, dan Matani Tiga. Metode: studi mempergunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif beserta pengkajian data kuantitatif sederhana. Data dikumpulkan melalui survey dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 10 pelaku UMKM ditetapkan purposive sampling. Pengkajian data dilaksanakan menyandingkan temuan lapangan dengan teori pengelolaan keuangan dan studi empiris lima tahun terakhir. Hasil dan pembahasan: Temuan studi memperlihatkan praktik pengelolaan keuangan UMKM di Tomohon Tengah berada pada Tingkat subsitensi, ditandai oleh fenomena pencampuran dan (mixing funds) yang diakui oleh 90% responden, serta pencatatan yang bersifat manual dan reaktif. Faktor penghambat utama Adalah Literasi Keuangan yang Rendah dan Kesenjangan Aksi (Knowlegde-Action Gap), Dimana kesadaran akan pentingnya pencatatan tidak diimbangi dengan kemampuan teknis dan waktu Kesenjangan ini diperparah oleh jangkauan intervensi Pemerintah Daerah yang sangat terbatas (hanya 10% responden pernah ikut pelatihan). Konsekuensi fatalnya adalah Tingkat implementasi SAK EMKM nol persen (0%), yang menyebabkan 80% permohonan kredit UMKM ditolak karena tidak mampu menyajikan laporan keuangan yang kredibel.

Abstract

Fenomena meningkatnya jumlah penduduk lanjut usia (lansia) menuntut perhatian yang lebih besar terhadap kesejahteraan dan kesehatan lansia, terutama melalui dukungan keluarga. Namun, sebagian besar penelitian sebelumnya lebih menitikberatkan pada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dan partisipasi lansia dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, sehingga belum banyak mengungkap dinamika kesadaran sosial keluarga dalam praktik pendampingan lansia secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika kesadaran sosial keluarga dalam pendampingan lansia pada kegiatan Posyandu Lansia di Desa Klepu, Kecamatan Kranggan, Kabupaten Temanggung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Informan penelitian berjumlah 6 orang yang terdiri dari keluarga lansia, kader posyandu, dan bidan desa, yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data melalui reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan serta uji keabsahan melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesadaran sosial keluarga dalam pendampingan lansia diwujudkan dalam tiga bentuk utama, yaitu pendampingan fisik, dukungan emosional, dan dukungan informasional. Tingkat kesadaran sosial keluarga bervariasi dalam kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah yang dipengaruhi oleh pemahaman keluarga, nilai kekeluargaan, dukungan kader dan tenaga kesehatan, serta faktor pekerjaan, waktu, dan persepsi terhadap kemandirian lansia. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pengungkapan dinamika kesadaran sosial keluarga sebagai praktik sosial dalam pendampingan lansia dalam konteks masyarakat pedesaan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap kajian Pendidikan IPS, khususnya dalam memahami peran keluarga sebagai agen sosialisasi nilai kepedulian sosial dalam kehidupan masyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Influence of Digital Literacy and Learning Motivation on Learning Outcomes in the Accounting Computer Course, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gorontalo State University. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the Survey research method. The data used is primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires to students of the S1 Economics Education Study Program Class of 2022. The number of Sample Withdrawals in this study was 58 respondents. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the XI variable with the highest indicator was search competence on the internet with an average of 4.44 or 88.8%. In Variable X2 with the highest indicator, namely tenacity in facing difficulties and the existence of future hopes and ideals with an average score of 4.43 or 88.6%. Meanwhile, Variable Y with the highest indicator is in the affective domain with an average score of 4.37 or 87.4%. The results of the study show that there is a positive influence of digital literacy and learning motivation on learning outcomes in the Accounting Computer Course, Faculty of Economics and Business, Gorontalo State University. The results of the determination coefficient showed that there was an influence of digital literacy and learning motivation together on learning outcomes of 0.885 or 88.5% and the remaining 11.5% was determined by other factors outside the model that was not studied. ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Literasi Digital Dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pada Mata Kuliah Komputer Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode penelitian Survei. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran Angket pada Mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2022. Jumlah Penarikan Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebesar 58 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa variabel XI dengan indikator tertinggi yaitu kompetensi pencarian di internet dengan rata-rata 4,44 atau 88,8%. Pada Variabel X2 dengan indikator tertinggi yaitu ulet menghadapi kesulitan serta adanya harapan dan cita-cita masa depan dengan skor rata-rata 4,43 atau 88,6%. Sementara itu Variabel Y dengan indikator tertinggi yaitu pada ranah afektif dengan rata-rata skor 4,37 atau 87,4%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Positif Literasi Digital Dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pada Mata Kuliah Komputer Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Hasil koefisien determinasi menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh literasi digital dan motivasi belajar bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar sebesar 0,885 atau 88,5% dan sisanya sebesar 11,5% ditentukan oleh faktor lain di luar model yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes through the application of the Word Square learning method in Social Studies for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Bulango Utara. This research employed a classroom action research (CAR) design conducted in two cycles, involving 21 students as the research subjects. Data were collected through observation, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Word Square learning method can improve students’ learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the percentage of students’ learning mastery reached 53%, while in the second cycle it increased to 86%, showing an improvement of 33%. In addition, the average score of students’ learning outcomes improved from the “good” category in the first cycle to the “very good” category in the second cycle. The application of the Word Square method not only enhances learning outcomes but also increases students’ activeness, accuracy, and engagement in the learning process. This method creates a more interactive, enjoyable, and student-centered learning environment. Therefore, the Word Square learning method is considered appropriate as an alternative teaching strategy to improve the quality of Social Studies learning at the junior high school level. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran Word Square pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Bulango Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 21 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran Word Square mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 53%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 86%, sehingga terjadi peningkatan sebesar 33%. Selain itu, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari kategori baik pada siklus I menjadi kategori sangat baik pada siklus II. Penerapan metode Word Square tidak hanya meningkatkan hasil belajar, tetapi juga meningkatkan keaktifan, ketelitian, serta keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode ini mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih menarik, menyenangkan, dan berpusat pada siswa. Dengan demikian, metode pembelajaran Word Square layak digunakan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS di tingkat SMP.
