Abstract

The digital era positions knowledge as a primary asset for fostering innovation and competitive advantage. Information and communication technology (ICT), particularly artificial intelligence (AI), plays a critical role in enhancing efficiency and creating new opportunities. A company’s innovative performance is strongly influenced by employees’ innovative work behavior, including idea generation, experimentation, and risk-taking. Knowledge sharing among employees is also essential in supporting organizational innovation. This study aims to examine the mediating role of innovative work behavior (IWB) in the relationship between knowledge sharing intention (KSI) and innovative performance (IP) among knowledge-based workers in Indonesia. The research employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), consisting of measurement model evaluation and structural model assessment. The results indicate significant relationships (p < 0.001) between KSI and IWB (O = 0.625), IWB and IP (O = 0.344), and KSI and IP (O = 0.343). These findings confirm that IWB mediates the relationship between KSI and IP, highlighting the crucial role of innovative work behavior in optimizing the impact of knowledge sharing on innovative performance.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has led to various smartphone products with competitive features and prices. This study aims to determine the effect of features and prices on purchasing decisions of iPhone smartphones at Halo Store, as well as to test the role of features as a moderating variable. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 230 respondents using simple random sampling. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed that prices had a significant effect on purchasing decisions (p-value = 0.000), features had a significant effect on purchasing decisions (p-value = 0.000), while features as a moderating variable did not strengthen the effect of prices A on purchasing decisions (p-value = 0.056). The implication of this research highlights that a balanced pricing and product features strategy is essential to improve consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze aggregate planning strategies in the production process of broiler-based food products at the MSME Rumah Makan Selayang. Demand fluctuations cause an imbalance between production and consumption, resulting in overstock in March of up to 75 kg and stockout in May, June, July, October, and December. A quantitative approach was employed using production and sales data from January to December 2024. Primary data were obtained through direct observation of the production process and in-depth interviews with the owner, cashier, and kitchen staff, while secondary data consisted of business documentation, sales and production records, financial reports, and supporting literature. Demand forecasting was carried out using Double Exponential Smoothing, Trend Analysis, and Holt-Winters Exponential Smoothing, and analyzed using Minitab Statistical Software 22. The results show that the Holt-Winters method is the most accurate (MAD: 11.57; MAPE: 2.72 percent; MSE: 161.88). For aggregate planning strategies, chase, level, and mixed approaches were modeled using Microsoft Excel. The findings indicate that the chase strategy is the most efficient option, with a total aggregate cost of Rp3,441,109,000, because it adjusts production volume to demand and minimizes inventory. These findings provide practical guidance for food-sector MSMEs to optimize production planning, reduce inventory costs, and mitigate the risks of overstock and stockout.

Abstract

Digital transformation is inevitable for all global organizations as the technology grows rapidly. It has been significantly changing business landscape as well as business model. Digital transformation initiatives have been widely implemented by organizations in various global industries, however most of this efforts failed. Recent studies found that management is one of key factors attributed to the failure. This study aimed at analyzing the relationship between variables that influence digital transformation succes, in particularly in the property industry. It based on full range leadership model and supported by extension variables, such as organizational culture and readiness for change. 125 samples from mid managers of a property company were analyzed using Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The result indicates that transformational leadership has a significant positive effect on digital transformation through organizational culture and readiness for change. This study suggests organization’s top management to encourage middle managers in implementing transformational leadership behaviors in order to achieve successful digital transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competency and employee engagement on employee performance, with organizational climate as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at PT Great Giant Foods (GGF), focusing on the Agri Plantation Division. A quantitative approach was used, employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as the method. A purposive sampling technique was applied to select 55 respondents based on their length of service and employment status. The results show that both competency and employee engagement have a positive and significant effect on organizational climate. However, neither has a significant direct effect on employee performance. Their indirect effects through organizational climate are also not significant. On the other hand, organizational climate has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These findings emphasize the strategic role of organizational climate as a key factor in enhancing employee performance, particularly in contexts where operational support resources are limited. Therefore, human resource strategies should not only focus on improving individual competency and engagement but also on creating a supportive work environment.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the transformation of the Human Resource (HR) function across various industries, including the insurance industry in Indonesia. One aspect that has undergone significant change is Learning & Development (L&D), which has shifted from conventional approaches to technology-based digital learning. Although numerous studies have discussed the digitalization of HR during the pandemic, research that deeply examines how HR Transformation plays a role in optimizing L&D in the post-pandemic insurance industry remains limited. This study aims to analyze the role of Human Resource Transformation (HRT) in supporting the optimization of L&D through digital technology during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. This research adopts a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with six informants consisting of HR Managers and Operational Managers from three large insurance companies in Indonesia. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns of change, challenges, and strategic implications. The findings indicate that the pandemic served as a catalyst for accelerating the digitalization of L&D through the implementation of e-learning, hybrid learning, and Learning Management Systems (LMS), which enhanced learning flexibility and efficiency. However, this transformation continues to face challenges related to technology adaptation, employee engagement, and limitations in evaluating the impact of learning on business performance. This study provides empirical contributions by linking field findings with the HR Transformation framework and learning evaluation, while offering strategic implications for HR practices in the Indonesian insurance industry.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) quality, bank size, and the operating expenses to operating income ratio (BOPO) on the frequency of fraud at Regional Development Banks (BPD) in Sumatra during the 2017–2024 period. The main problem addressed is the high risk of fraud in BPDs, which threatens operational stability and public trust. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual reports and GCG self-assessment reports. Panel data regression with the Random Effect Model was used for analysis. The results show that bank size has a positive and significant effect on fraud at the 10% level (p = 0.085), while BOPO also has a positive and significant effect at the 10% level (p = 0.062). Meanwhile, GCG quality has a negative but statistically insignificant effect (p = 0.439). These findings indicate that increasing bank size and lower operational efficiency tend to elevate fraud risk, whereas improvements in GCG have not yet shown a significant impact on reducing fraud. The study highlights the importance of improving operational efficiency and strengthening oversight in large BPDs to mitigate fraud risks in regional financial institutions.
