Abstract

The lack of teacher abilities and skills in varying the application of learning models impacts low learning outcomes and student self-efficacy in social studies subjects in grade V. This study aims to produce a product in the form of an environment-oriented problem-based learning model. This research belongs to the type of development research that was developed using the 4D model. The 4D model consists of four research stages: defining, designing, developing, and deploying. The subjects involved in this study were social studies learning experts, expert practitioners of 15 high-grade teachers, and 51 fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection in the study was carried out using non-test and test methods, with research instruments in the form of questionnaires and multiple-choice tests. The data obtained in the study were then analyzed using a feasibility test with validity and product trials. The research analysis results show that the learning model developed gets an average score of 4.9 in the "very good" category. Furthermore, the results of testing the simultaneous effect of environment-oriented problem-based learning models on student learning outcomes and self-efficacy show an influence on the dependent variable (social studies learning outcomes and self-efficacy). Based on these results, the environment-oriented problem-based learning model has very good qualifications, so it is feasible to be applied in the social studies learning process for fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The low interest and social studies learning outcomes of fifth-grade students are due to the need for more media use. So that the purpose of this study is to develop an E-Book based on Problem-Based Learning social studies class V elementary school content. This research belongs to the type of development research that was developed using the ADDIE model. The subjects involved in this study were four experts and nine fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection in the study was carried out using interviews, questionnaires/questions, and tests, with research instruments in the form of questionnaires and multiple-choice tests (objective). The data obtained in this study were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The results of the research analysis showed that the validity test results according to content/subject matter experts scored 91.67% with very good qualifications, instructional design experts scored 88.6% with good qualifications, and learning media experts scored 90% with very good qualifications. The individual trials scored 97.5% with very good qualifications. The small group trials obtained a score of 92.2% with very good qualifications—the effectiveness test results show significant differences before and after using the E-Book. Based on the research analysis results, the learning media in the form of E-Books based on Problem-Based Learning in social studies class V SD is feasible to develop and teach because it can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Teaching materials are an essential component of the learning process. The existence of teaching materials that are by the characteristics and curriculum will foster good interaction in the learning process. This is the reason for the research, which aims to produce textbooks based on an instructional approach to learning in Hindu religious education courses with a multicultural perspective. Research and development methods (Research and Development). The sample is part or representative of the population that the researcher sampled. From the population determined above, the sample used in research is lecturers who teach Hindu religious education courses.Questionnaires are data collection techniques that are carried out by providing written questions to respondents to answer. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The study results showed that the developed Hindu religious education textbooks were suitable for learning. It can be seen from material experts, media experts, user responses, lecturers’ responses, and students’ responses. The textbooks that the researchers developed included very feasible criteria and good categories. It is recommended that the developed teaching materials be used as learning resources.

Abstract

Students need help understanding math material because students think mathematics is very difficult. It has an impact on student understanding which could be much higher. This research aims to analyze the Student Facilitator and explain Learning Model with the Help of Fractional Board Media on the Competence of Mathematics Knowledge of fifth-grade Elementary School Students. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The population is 490. The data collection method is the test method using objective tests. The data collection instrument was an objective test in the form of multiple choice. The data analysis technique was descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the data analysis showed that there were significant differences in the competency knowledge of Mathematics between students who were treated using the student facilitator and explaining learning model assisted by fraction board media and students who were not given treatment in the form of student facilitator and explaining learning model assisted by fraction board media. It was concluded that the student facilitator and explanation learning model with the help of fraction board media positively impacted the competence of Mathematical knowledge. The student facilitator and explaining the learning model with the help of fractional board media can help students learn.

Abstract

At this time, many students still feel bored and need help understanding the learning material carried out in class, especially in learning science. It is because the learning activities carried out in the classroom are still centered on the teacher, so students feel bored quickly and are less enthusiastic when participating in activities. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Scramble Type Cooperative Learning Model on the Science Knowledge Competence of Sixth Grade Elementary School Students. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study was 448 students of sixth-grade elementary school. Sampling was done using the cluster random sampling technique, with the final sample being 28 students as the control group and 28 as the experimental group. Data collection in the study was carried out using the test method, with an objective test research instrument in the form of multiple choices. The techniques used to analyze the data were descriptive statistical and inferential statistics. The results showed significant differences in the competence of science knowledge between students who were treated using the Scramble Type Cooperative learning model and students who were not given the treatment in the form of the Scramble Type Cooperative learning model. Based on these results, the Scramble Type Cooperative learning model has a significant positive impact on increasing the competence of science knowledge in elementary school students.

Abstract

The need for appropriate learning models and media applications in social studies impacts students' low knowledge competence. This study aims to determine the significant effect of the course review horay (CRH) cooperative learning model assisted by PowerPoint media on the social studies knowledge competence of fifth-grade elementary school students. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the Nonequivalent Pre-test and Post-test Control Group Design. The population in this study was 116 students of class V SD. Sampling was carried out using cluster random sampling technique, and the number of samples in this study was 22 students of class V SD. IPS knowledge competency data was collected using the test method, with a research instrument in the form of 30 multiple choice test questions. The data obtained in the study were then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the data analysis showed that the course review horay (CRH) type cooperative learning model assisted by PowerPoint media had a significant effect on the social studies knowledge competence of fifth-grade elementary school students. It was concluded that the cooperative learning model of the course review horay (CRH) type assisted by PowerPoint media could improve the competence of Social Sciences knowledge of fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The lack of application of Wondershare Filmmora-based learning video media reduces students' understanding of learning concepts in science learning content. This study aimed to develop a learning media in the form of a learning video based on Wondershare Filmmora on the subject matter of plant body parts for class IV SD science learning content. This type of development research uses the ADDIE development model. Data collection methods used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The subjects in this study consisted of 1 design expert, 1 content expert, 1 instructional design expert, 1 instructional media expert, 3 individual test subjects, and 9 small group test subjects. The data analysis technique used is a quantitative descriptive technique. The results of learning video media development based on Wondershare Filmmora on science learning content in class IV SD are declared valid. The results of the assessment of engineering experts are very well qualified (90.00%). The content expert's assessment results are very well-equipped (96.00%). The results of the assessment of instructional design experts are well qualified (89.33%). The results of the evaluation of learning media experts are well qualified (89.33%). The results of the individual test assessment are very well qualified (97.33%), and the small group is very well qualified (96.15%). The implications of this research are empirically proven by using Wondershare Filmmora-based instructional video media to increase students' conceptual understanding of the material on plant body parts.

Abstract

The lack of use and existence of innovative and effective learning media impacts the common competency knowledge of Indonesian for third-grade elementary school students. This study aims to describe the visual word dice media design for third-grade students. This research belongs to the type of development research which was developed using the Hannafin and Peck model. The Hannafin and Peck model consist of three development stages: the needs analysis stage, the design stage, and the development and implementation stage. The subjects involved in this study were one design expert, one learning content expert, one instructional design expert, one instructional media expert, three students with high learning outcomes, three with moderate learning outcomes, and three with low learning outcomes. Data collection in the study was carried out using the test method and the questionnaire method. The research instrument used was a questionnaire sheet and 17 objective tests. The data obtained in the study were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis using the t-test technique. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the feasibility of the media from the results of the expert design test was 90%. They were learning content expert test 97.20%. Learning design expert test 87.50%, learning media expert test 87.50%, and media practicality through individual trials 97.33%. Small group trials 94.89%. The results of the media effectiveness test based on the results of the t-test found that the media was declared effective. Thus, visual dice-based learning media is feasible and effective in learning Indonesian for third-grade students in elementary school.

Abstract

In its application, learning media has yet to be used optimally. In addition, the teacher also conveys the material only by lecturing. It will undoubtedly make it difficult for students to understand the learning material. This study aimed to develop video scribe-based learning videos for science subjects for fifth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model. ADDIE development model. The research subjects were one media expert, one material expert, and two practitioners. Methods of data collection using observation and questionnaires. The instrument used in collecting data is the rating scale. The technique used to analyze the information is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research results are the results of the assessment given to the learning material experts, namely 4.75, so they get very good qualifications. The evaluation provided by learning media experts is 4.75, so they get very good qualifications. The assessment given by the teacher is 4.83, so the qualification is very good. It was concluded that Videoscibe-Based Video is valid and feasible to use in learning. This research implies that the Videosribe-based learning videos that have been developed can help students learn science.

Abstract

The rapid development of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) affects various aspects of human life including education. Utilizing this information technology can support the independent learning process for the better. E-module with the case method model is suitable media implementing in  Technology and Vocational Education. This study aims to analyse the validity of E-module with case method in vehicle testing course the expert before being implemented in the learning process. This study used a quantitative research in the form of a survey. The validity of this research is divided into two categories, namely design validity and material validity. Data collection is using questionnaire in a form of Likert scale with five possible answers is used in this media validation questionnaire. The data analysis in this study is use level of validity according to Formula V Aiken. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that media design is valid in terms of didactic, construction and technical aspects. While the results of material validation also show that the material in the media is valid in terms of the quality of the material and the quality of learning. It can be concluded that the flipbook-based e-module with the case method used in this course is effective as a learning medium in the classroom during the learning process.
