Abstract

This research aims find out how to plan, implement and evaluate the Discovery Learning model in Islamic Cultural History in VIII D grade. This research uses qulitative methods with a case study approach, the data of this research is obtained through direct interviews with three informants (deputy curriculum, teacher of Islamic Cultural History, and four students). To corroborate the interview data, the author conducted observation activities by being directly involved in the process of learning activities in the classroom. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and the conclusion. The results showed the implementation of the Discovery Learning in Islamic Cultural History lessons at MTsN 02 Empat Lawang includes: providing stimulation to students, identifying problems, collecting data, processing data, proving and conclusions. The conclusions of the implementation of the Discovery Learning in Islamic Cultural History lessons at MTsN 02 Empat Lawang is carried out with several steps. First, the teacher ask students to convey the results of the discussion. Second, the teachers ask students to makes important notes from the results of the discussion. Third, the students collects the results of the discussion to the teacher. And last, the teacher gives assignments in the form of written test as evaluation material.

Abstract

Morals to others is something that must be instilled in students starting from an early age because it is very important in carrying out daily activities with fellow living beings. This study aims to determine how the stages of instilling moral values in others through congregational prayer in students. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data was taken through observation, interviews, and documentation with 4 informants, namely one pai teacher, one homeroom teacher, and two students. The results of the research on the cultivation of moral values to others are the first three stages, namely value transformation, value transactions, and value internalization. At the value transformation stage the teacher uses the question and answer method, discussion and lecture method, while at the value transaction stage the teacher uses several methods, namely the habituation method, conversation method, promise and threat method and the last stage, namely the internalization stage, the teacher instills value using the exemplary method and reward and punishment. And the conclusion of this study is that in instilling moral values to others through congregational prayer there are three stages, namely the value transformation, value transaction and internalization stages.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of the Role Playing model on the Learning Outcomes of Class XI PAI at SMAN 1 Ulakan Tapakis. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. Methods of data collection in this study using questionnaires and tests of student learning outcomes. The results of the validity of the questions in this study showed that 16 questions were valid out of the 25 questions tested. The reliability of the questions using Cronbach alpha obtained a value of 0.779 <0.789 which means the questions have high reliability. Prior to testing the hypothesis, the normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, and simple linear regression test were carried out. In the normality test for the experimental class, a sig value of 0.151> 0.05 was obtained and in the control class, a sig value of 0.200> 0.05 was obtained. In the homogeneity test, the sig value Fcount<Ftable was obtained, namely 2.015<4.012. In the linearity test, the sig value was 0.486 > 0.05. Meanwhile, in the simple linear regression test, a sig value of 0.018 <0.05 was obtained. The data in this research were analyzed using the independent sample T-test. The research results show: 1) the implementation of the Role Playing learning model is at 79.01% in the highest category; 2) The learning outcomes of experimental class students are in the very high category, it is known that in the 98-103 interval it has the highest frequency with 17 students or 51.52%. 3) The results of testing the hypothesis obtained Tcount = 6,955> Ttable = 4,039.

Abstract

Discovery Learning is a method of understanding concepts, meanings and relationships, through an intuitive process to finally arrive at a conclusion. This Discovery Learning model is able to have a positive influence on the activity of students, the ability to think critically, and the results during the learning process of students. Based on the problems above, the teacher plays an important role in the learning process. This discovery model can make the class atmosphere more active, not boring and the most important thing is that it can stimulate students to think critically. Therefore, it is necessary to do research to find out how to plan, implement and evaluate the learning of Islamic Religious Education based on the Discovery Learning Model in SMPN 7 Sijunjung. This research method is qualitative with a descriptive research type. With this data collected is not in the form of numbers but from the results of observations and interviews. The informants in this study were curriculum representatives, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and SMPN 7 Sijunjung students. The techniques used in analyzing the data are data reduction, presentation and conclusions. The planning stage carried out by the PAI teacher is by making a Learning Plan. The implementation of the Discovery model goes according to the steps applied to the implementation, where there are 3 learning stages, namely preliminary activities, core activities and closing. The evaluation that is used when using the discovery model is that the teacher measures it by conducting tests both orally and in writing and also the teacher also often collaborates with the reflection stage on students using games.

Abstract

This research is motivated by teaching and learning process activities or learning activities. The learning process is still centered on the teacher which causes students to interact less and be less active during learning. This has an impact on the low learning outcomes of students. So it is necessary to apply various learning models that are in accordance with the material being taught so that students can be more active in participating in the learning process such as applying the jigsaw cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the jigsaw cooperative learning model to the learning outcomes of PAI in class X at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur. The research method used is a Quasi Experiment with a Post Test Only Control Group Design research design. The population in this study were all students in class X MIPA 1 – X MIPA 5 SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur for the 2022/2023 academic year consisting of 5 classes with a total of 180 people. Determination of the sample used in this study by purposive sampling technique so that class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class and X MIPA 2 as the control class with a total of 36 people in each class. The data obtained were analyzed using the prerequisite test, namely the normality test and homogeneity test, then a hypothesis test was carried out. The results of data analysis showed that there was a difference between the average experimental class learning outcomes with a value of 81.63 and the average control class with a value of 71.01. Based on the hypothesis test using the t test obtained T count (5.158) > T table (2.345) so that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the jigsaw cooperative learning model on PAI learning outcomes in class X at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low professionalism of PAI teachers as evidenced by the low UKG scores and the existence of PAI teachers who always use the same method in learning coupled with the less role of subject teacher deliberations (MGMP) in improving competence. This study aims to determine the role of subject teacher deliberations (MGMP) in improving the professionalism of Islamic religious education teachers in SMA in South Solok Regency and the obstacles it faces. This type of research is qualitative. Sources of data in the study were taken through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of this study indicate that MGMP has an important role in increasing teacher professionalism, especially in improving pedagogic competence, personality competence, professional competence, and social competence by conducting ongoing training, inviting speakers from outside the region, training in the use of IT-based media, making and adapting models. learning, making learning tools, and providing solutions to problems faced by teachers. The obstacles faced by the MGMP are 1) Long distances and lack of motivation to participate in MGMP activities. 2) There is no assistance from schools and the government for MGMP in finding the honorarium for invited speakers and other costs. 3) Discipline of members who are lacking in starting the event. 4) The teaching schedule is attached to the MGMP activities.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the main elements that must be the personality of a teacher by examining verses 129 and 151 in Surah Al-Baqarah. The method in this research is library research which is based on studies and also text analysis. This is done because the data sources used are in the form of literature data. It can be concluded that for Islamic educators in particular, they should be able to understand their role as educators. Understand the concept of the goals of Islamic education and also apply it in everyday life. By seeing the struggle of Rasulullah SAW, it is hoped that Muslim educators will be able to imitate his patience in educating his people. He educates his people from zero to experiencing significant changes. In addition, Muslim educators are also expected to be able to produce superior, intelligent, great, noble and dignified generations.

Abstract

In the learning process of Islamic Religious Education, many students are less active so it is necessary to apply the right learning model, one of which is by using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model. This study aims to determine how the application of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model can increase student learning activeness and what are the advantages and disadvantages of applying the NHT learning model in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMA N 1 Sutera. This type of research is qualitative research with the subject of students of class XII IPA 1 at SMA N 1 Sutera totaling 36 people. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are the implementation of the NHT learning model carried out by the teacher by giving numbers and the task for each number in the group to convey the results of the discussion according to the number called makes student activeness in PAI subjects increase. The advantage of the NHT model is that it can increase student activeness and sense of responsibility. The weakness lies in the limited time due to the large number of students.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the motivation of parents in Tampunik Village to send their children to religious schools. The type of research used is a qualitative research approach with a descriptive orientation. Based on the results of data processing and data analysis, the researcher draws the conclusion that the motivation of parents to send their children to religious schools is that children can learn religious knowledge in accordance with Islamic law and can practice it in their daily lives.

Abstract

Islam pays a significant portion of attention to education in every phase of a child's life development. Starting from the period of formation of the fetus in the womb, breastfeeding, childhood, adolescence to adulthood. To make it all happen, every child needs someone who helps his development and fulfills all his needs well. Besides that, the environmental conditions are right and appropriate for his association and psychological development as well as self-development with a good education. So parents, educators/teachers, and the environment have a very big role in this. Educational materials and methods are in accordance with Islamic concepts, especially the concept of hadith, which is a necessity to be applied in educating children to support the successful achievement of educational goals, namely to form children with noble personalities.
