Abstract

Education in today's generation faces serious problems related to spiritual crises and character traits that are very worrying. Spiritual and religious values are increasingly mired in Indonesian society in the search for moral values and wisdom, and this happens in everyday social life. Many Indonesians seem to face an empty personality, where values, vision, and heart are almost lost. Even more worrisome is that this condition is already affecting children. Therefore is very important to strengthen the quality of education through the spiritual aspect. This research is qualitative research aimed at determining the practice of spiritual strengthening of children to improve the quality of education at MDA Hidayatul Ummah North Bengkulu. The results showed that the method used in shaping and strengthening the spiritual aspects of students at MDA Hidayatul Ummah is the implementation and practice of shalawat wahidiyah and its teachings through mujahadah wahidiyah. By following the mujahadah wahidiyah with istiqamah and according to the guidance that has been set, students can cultivate spiritual values in their hearts to become individuals with strong beliefs, noble character, and the ability to think healthy and correct.

Abstract

TPA as an educational institution should be an effective means for creating critical and creative understanding and become a place for students to develop and direct their potential so that they can become an independent generation. TPA Al-Hikmah, Sidosari Natar Village, South Lampung, in its learning activities, applies the Iqra' teaching method, where this method is considered to have a good acceleration system in mastering the ability to read the Al-Qur'an. However, the problem faced by TPA Al Hikmah is that there is only 4 teaching staff while the number of students reaches hundreds. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a sampling technique using snowball sampling while the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation using self-instruments as the main instrument. The results of this research show that improvements in reading the Al-Qur'an can be seen in the application of the CBSA system and direct methods in the teaching and learning process. However, all of this is only a reference for the ustadz/ustadzah at TPA Al-Hikmah, while the success factor that determines the effectiveness of learning at TPA Al-Hikmah in improving students' ability to read the Al-Qur'an lies in the ability of the ustadz/ustadzah in making the assistance and control system more effective. which is good in the private system while still referring to the application of the module system in teaching iqra' so that students get good results in reading the Al-Qur'an. Apart from that, the ustadz/ustadzah at TPA Al-Hikmah vary their teaching methods using the lecture method, the play while learning method, the insert method in the form of stories about good role models, especially in the classical system.

Abstract

This article discusses Islamic Religious Education at Samudera University as an instrument of deradicalism. The aim of this article is to reveal the vision of deradicalism in the topic of democracy taught in Islamic religious education. Primary data is in the form of Islamic Religious Education modules and interviews with course lecturers. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive methods and hermeneutic, historical, political, and Islamic theological approaches. The findings of this article show that Samudera University has a mission to support regional and national development, and Islamic religious education is an instrument of deradicalism. It was also found that deradicalism on the topic of democracy includes criticism of views that reject democracy in Islam; exploration of meaning, history, and values ​​in democracy; reveals the understanding that supports democracy in Islam, and the relevance of democracy to the history of classical Islamic political praxis. Based on these findings, it is concluded that Islamic religious education regarding democracy at Ocean University not only has a vision of deradicalism, but also functions to build harmony between religious beliefs and empirical social problems.

Abstract

In this modern era, students' religious behavior has decreased such as their religious activities, morals, and ways of looking. School rules based on religious values are one of the efforts in shaping students' religious behavior. The purpose of this study was to find out how to approach the formation of students' religious behavior through school rules. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, data collection using observation, interview, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the approach to shaping students' religious behavior through school rules at SMP IT Cahaya Islam Buaran South Tangerang works well by providing experiences such as manners, obligatory congregational prayers and sunnah. Habituation to perform obligations repeatedly. Provide examples such as obeying prayers, dressing, and manners. Emotional approach with religious studies. Rational approach with understanding through tausiyah. A functional approach with examples, direction, and knowledge. This approach is applied through school rules in the form of obligations, prohibitions and sanctions.

Abstract

Abstract

Character education is an integral part of the educational process that aims to shape students into individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also have strong morals and ethics. This study aims to explore the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping the character of honesty in class VIII. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were the principal, an Islamic Religious Education teacher, and 4 students. Data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection techniques were analyzed using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping the character of honesty of 8th-grade students at Al-Kamiliyyah Boarding School Junior High School went well. In addition, the use of educational media and facilities is an important communication tool that increases the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Seeing the current era of globalization with the presence of criminal acts committed by children, Islamic Education Institutions are needed that develop children's spiritual intelligence by instilling spiritual values. Madrasah Diniyah is a community-based non-formal Islamic education institution that can provide religious education through the classical system in an integrated manner. This research aims to describe the role of Madrasah Diniyah in developing the spiritual intelligence of grade 4 students at MDA Al-Waajidul Iman. This research uses qualitative research. Data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that MDA Al-Waajidul Iman in carrying out its role as an Islamic Education Institution can effectively develop the spiritual intelligence of students, this is proven by students who have a sense of responsibility as students of knowledge, have an attitude of trust in Allah, are honest, sincere, and serious in seeking knowledge. Even though there are aspects that need special attention, such as the flexible aspect, Madrasahs can overcome them through control and collaboration with parents.

Abstract

The role of the teacher as a teacher is the most popular so far. Teachers are not only required as teachers but at least as educators who educate. Based on the results of a survey conducted by the author at SDN Tanahbaru I Karawang, the role of religious teachers there play a very active role in learning Islamic religious education, resulting in a lot of student interest in Islamic religious studies. This research aims to find out what role teachers at SDN Tanahbaru I have and also to find out the obstacles PAI teachers have in learning the Islamic religion at SDN Tanahbaru I Karawang. This type of research is a type of qualitative field research (field research), namely to strengthen data theoretically and obtain information from informants related to the title. The research subjects namely, subject teachers and students. Data collection techniques used are through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research show that students' interests, talents, abilities, and potentials will not develop optimally without the help of the teacher. In this regard, the teacher needs to pay attention to students individually, because one student and another have very basic differences. The Obstacles in the Role of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Learning Islamic Religious Education for Students at SDN Tanahbaru I, namely, the lack of several teachers, too many students, and parental support.

Abstract

To realize effective and efficient educational goals, teachers must have a way to foster interest in learning in students. One of the ways that teachers can do this is by applying the reward method at school, this reward method is a tangible manifestation of the teacher's efforts in motivating students to foster more interest in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine how the Application of Reward in PAI Learning to Increase Student Learning Enthusiasm at MI Miftahul Huda Muhammadiyah Cinangka Depok. The method used in this research is to use qualitative research, with a descriptive approach. The research results of the Application of Rewards in Islamic Education Learning to Increase Student Learning Enthusiasm at MI Miftahul Huda Muhammadiyah Cinangka Depok show the application of this reward goes well, by the way the teacher gives praise, respect, gifts, and signs of appreciation to the students. Therefore, this reward is very visible from the students' interest in learning when in class, the students are more enthusiastic when participating in class learning, especially in Islamic Religious Education lessons. The challenges faced by teachers at MI Miftahul Huda Muhammadiyah Cinangka Depok are that there are still some students who are lacking in reading, writing, and memorizing.

Abstract

The Ummi method is one of the methods of learning the Qur'an in which there is learning turjuman Al-Qur'an volumes 1 and 2 which discuss prayer recitation. the purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of learning, the supporting and inhibiting factors of learning, and the impact of learning Turjuman Al-Qur'an volumes 1 and 2 of the Ummi method at Mutiara Hikmah Al-Qur'an Elementary School Bekasi. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection was obtained through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis in this study is by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the Ummi method in learning Turjuman Al-Qur'an volumes 1 and 2 went well because in its learning, Mutiara Hikmah Bekasi Al-Qur'an Elementary School applied the strengths of the Ummi Foundation, namely the existence of quality methods, qualified teachers, and quality systems.
