ABDIRA (Journal of Community Service): Journal of Community Service contains the results of community service and empowerment activities in the form of application of various fields of science including health, education, engineering, agriculture, agriculture, social humanities, computers, entrepreneurship and economics. The purpose of this journal is to disseminate ideas and results of the dedication and research conducted by universities that can be applied in society. Abstract

Curup Kereta is in the Rambang Jaya village area, Umpu Semenguk District, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung Province. Curup is a tourist destination with very promising potential because its beauty is stunning and beautiful. So it moved the lecturers at Mahakarya Asia University, Baturaja Campus, to help increase the promotion of the potential of train steeplechase tourism through cyberspace. This activity is carried out using direct counseling and assistance methods to create promotional content, both in the form of videos and images and directly uploading them on various social media platforms. With the increase in promotions through cyberspace, currently train cursing is becoming increasingly well known by the wider community. This is proven by the large number of people who see and watch the results of posts on social media from lecturers, students and the Rambang Jaya village community. So that the train curve is increasingly known to the wider community, not only local residents but also people outside the Way Kanan district, so that it can increase the number of tourists who visit the train curve. By increasing the number of tourists visiting, it can improve the economy of the RambangJaya village community.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity (PKM) is to increase the knowledge about financial literacy for Mbak Eka's business herbal medicine (UMKM jamu gendong) so that it can be used in business development. The methods that used in this community service activity are giving a lecture and discussions. The stages start from coordinating with business owners, provide counseling and the evaluation stage. The discussion shows that business owner’s has been in the  financial literacy level, namely sufficient literate, meaning that they already have knowledge and confidence of financial service institution and have existing financial products. Mbak eka as the owner of the business has known about the procedures to obtaining additional business capital from banks and also the risk. However, mbak eka doesn’t taking the advantage of these capital financial services because she doesn’t need it yet. The Business owners also have has the budgeting skills and saving habits. However, the savings only for consumption and not used for investment. The hoped that the business owner will be able to develop financial strategies through investment skills in the form of being able to allocate savings, from selling herbal medicine to business capital in order to transition from conventional marketing to online marketing in order to reach a wider market.

Abstract

This service aims to develop an orphanage website for Field Work Practice (PKL) activities. This form of community service between students and lecturers has the impact of making it easier to process administrative data and information in orphanages. The method used to carry out community service activities uses Agile Software Development and socialization or training. The results of community service show that the website created is feasible and can be used for information and promotion systems at the Budi Mulya orphanage. So it can be concluded that the website created is suitable for use in processing data, helping convey information and promotions about the Budi Mulya orphanage, which was previously done manually.

Abstract

The increasingly advanced technology and industry today is the key to export activities. Exports can be the driving force of the global economy by contributing more like economic development, country competitiveness, job creation, and innovation. The National Export School focuses on export learning for UMKM, BUMN, and other companies. The mission of the Export School is to create 500,000 new exporters by 2030. The National Export College is working with Merdeka Campus in a Studi Independen Bersertifikat (SIB) program that focuses on the development of UMKM for export to global markets. Ginger sugar product development has significant export potential for local economic growth, and national economic development. The aim of this dedication is to develop ginger sugar products to the international market by increasing consumer demand, expanding the network, and enhancing the brand. The dedication method is implemented using the results of field surveys with business owners.

Abstract

The increasing cases of pornography addiction in children and adolescents have become a serious problem that threatens mental health and social development. Thus, psychoeducation is very important. The negative impacts that arise are brain and physical damage that will be damaged gradually. This community service activity aims to help prevent and handle the dangers of pornography addiction through psychoeducation. Psychoeducation is one of the interventions that can be given to students for children and adolescents so that they are not exposed to and do not access pornographic videos, or at least can reduce the level of addiction for children and adolescents who are already addicted to pornography. sychoeducation in this case will be carried out through methods of target audience identification, needs analysis, development of psychoeducational materials, program implementation, and evaluation. This psychoeducation will be conducted for children and adolescents in Bugangan Sub Disctrict, Semarang City. The results of this community service activity show a significant success in increasing understanding and awareness about the dangers of pornography addiction among children and adolescents.

Abstract

Rukun Tetangga (RT) 57 in Graha Indah sub-district is an area that faces waste problems. Based on the results of the initial field observations, the main waste-related problem in the RT 57 Graha Indah area is the lack of awareness of residents in proper waste management. Therefore, an initiative is required to increase the community's awareness of waste management. The provided solution to reduce this problem is the waste bank and composting programme. The method used in this community service is a mentoring method in waste bank activities, including the utilisation of inorganic waste by selling waste to waste collectors to generate revenue and improve the community's economy. In addition, assistance is carried out in the composting programme. As a result of waste bank activities, residents actively collect and sell waste with a total customer fund of IDR 150,000. In the composting programme, after 1 month, the organic composting is ready for use. The results of the programme evaluation also showed that there was an increase in the RT 57 community's understanding of waste management by 42-54%.

Abstract

A number of behavior-based illnesses are linked to inadequate soap handwashing. This demonstrates how important it is to practice hand washing with soap (HWWS). Teaching children to wash their hands with soap at a young age is the goal of this education program. Children in school are the ideal audience for HWWS promotion activities since they are receptive to new information and eager to share it with others. This activity used the educational game method with Hand's Card media (picture cards) and installation of HWWS poster. This service was conducted on January 13 and 14, 2023, at five public elementary schools (SDN) in Bonto Matene Village, South Sulawesi: SDN 26 Mangkaca, SDN 9 Mangkaca, SDN 34 Citta, SDN 1 Segeri, and SDN 2 Segeri. Students in Bonto Matene Village's grade 4 elementary school are benefiting from this activity, as seen by their excitement and participation in HWWS instruction, as well as by the notable changes of knowledge (p-value0.05) that occur both before and after education. It is anticipated that students will be able to put HWWS into practice in order to foster a HWWS culture that can enhance health.

Abstract

Domestic wastewater management in Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta, is the focus of community service activities (P2M) carried out by the Urban and Regional Development Studies Study Program team in collaboration with the UNKRIS Civil Engineering Study Program. The aim of this activity is to increase community awareness and ability in managing domestic wastewater in their environment. The team provided technical guidance to improve the household wastewater management system and daily community behavior through FGD activities carried out for one day by inviting all leaders from sub-districts in Pasar Rebo District. Service methods include initial surveys, interactive discussions, and evaluations. The results noted a significant increase in residents' understanding and actions regarding wastewater management. The emphasis on active community participation strengthens the positive impact of this activity in creating a foundation for improving the quality of life to support the One Million Orchid Village program in Pasar Rebo District.

Abstract

The golden age makes early childhood students quickly learn something, both in everyday terms and in language learning, including learning foreign languages. This is what makes nursery rhymes become one of the options for learning foreign languages for early childhood. This activity aims to provide an initial introduction to simple English vocabulary through movements and songs using nursery rhymes. This activity is a series of activities carried out during Parents Week where parents play the role of teachers on special days. This community service activity is carried out in several stages, namely preparation, discussion, and core activities. Kindergarten students were enthusiastic and happy during the activity. Through this activity, it can be concluded that nursery rhymes have proven to be effective for use in learning in Kindergarten A, in accordance with the results of previous research.

Abstract

Gevaarlijk drugs are drugs that should not be traded freely because hard drugs harm the body if used irrationally. The abuse of hard drugs is often abused by the community, especially students. The method used is to provide assistance with 1 time of counseling, mentoring and 1 evaluation, then the video is shared with students of SMA N 7 Semarang class X to be used and can be spread to other friends. The target of this activity is that SMA 7 students understand hard drugs and be careful in their use. The service implementation team made an educational video that can be used by teenagers to avoid the use of hard drugs. The video was disseminated to students of SMA N 7 Semarang City with the result that there was an increase in knowledge about the dangers of irrational use of hard drugs, and sanctions when vibrating hard drugs. Increasing knowledge about the dangers of irrational use of hard drugs and sanctions for abusers is very important for the community, especially adolescents, to improve the morale of the nation.
