ABDIRA (Journal of Community Service): Journal of Community Service contains the results of community service and empowerment activities in the form of application of various fields of science including health, education, engineering, agriculture, agriculture, social humanities, computers, entrepreneurship and economics. This journal is published regularly twice a year in April and October. The purpose of this journal is to disseminate ideas and results of the dedication and research conducted by universities that can be applied in society. ABDIRA contains various activities carried out in handling and overcoming various problems that occur in society by applying science and technology which can then be useful for improving community welfare.

Abstract

Yellow pumpkin is known by the public as just a pumpkin that is used only for processed cooking ingredients as vegetable ingredients lodeh or as kolak. While processed fruit meat is still very less to be used by the people. The purpose of this activity is to train people related to the innovation of processing yellow pumpkin into jam in Sekip Village. Processed pumpkin into jam can have a higher functional value. Making jam from pumpkin is one of the efforts to help housewives to have skills that can help their family finance in pandemic conditions. The methods of this activity is  socialization  in  the  form  of  lectures, discussions, questions and answers and train people to make jam. The results of this activity are the housewives can make jam from yellow pumkin and the formation of micro-businesses among the housewives.

Abstract

Kelumpang Village, Ulu Ogan District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, has the potential for a variety of handicraft tourism, handicrafts, rafting, waterfalls and so on. The management of the village tourism sector in Kelumpang is starting to become a concern in the Ogan Komering Ulu district. This service activity focuses on promoting village tourism and community crafts in the form of creating marketing content that will be distributed through social media Facebook and Instagram. Activities carried out in the creation of marketing content. Marketing content for service activities in the form of images and videos. The method of implementing this service is assistance in the introduction of tourist villages and handicrafts from the Kelumpang village community through digital marketing that focuses on social media Facebook and Instagram. The purpose of this assistance is to increase the publication of handicraft products and tourist objects in Kelumpang Village. Through this service activity, content is produced on types of crafts and tourist objects in the form of photos that are ready to be published on social media Facebook and Instagram.

Abstract

This Community Service activity was carried out in Tanjung Luar Village, East Lombok in the form of marketing communication socialization activities in increasing tourism awareness in Tanjung Luar Village. The goal is to understand public relations, personal selling, sales promotion and advertising, and improve through the application of information systems and technology and create relevant policy models. This PKM uses qualitative and field survey methods to reveal and find out the real social reality of the community. Informants who are used as partners and the main source of information are from the Tanjung Luar village government. The focus of socialization of marketing communications is to advance and promote this tourist area through individual expertise and online and in-person promotions. The results achieved in this activity are the results of effective communication for the surrounding community through online communication, implementing the potential of the Tourism Village through public relations activities, personal selling, sales promotion and advertising and packaged through system advancements and information manually and directly.

Abstract

This study aims to provide teaching about managing the family economy which is very important in the household. Basic lesson to financial management needs to be socialized and applied to the families of PKK mothers in the Villa Muka Kuning Batam Housing because with increased knowledge of how to organize and apply family financial records properly and correctly from an early age, PKK mothers at Villa Muka Kuning Batam Housing can prevent and limit unimportant financial expenditures, so that in the future there is no waste. During the visit, discussion with the head of RT 01 and regarding the appropriate schedule and time for the implementation of counseling. The service method used is to provide material about an introduction to simple financial management and governance for families, and discussions and questions and answers. The provision of this material is expected to be able to create awareness for PKK mothers in Villa Muka Kuning Housing Area RT 01 to be able to manage family finances properly and appropriately.

Abstract

This community service activity involves a partner which engaged in micro, small and medium enterprises of brick making. Partner problems are the lack of knowledge and skills in marketing their products and the location of their business has not been registered digitally on the internet so that the business cannot be accessed by some potential customers. Problems in this target group need to be addressed by facilitating them in implementing Google My Business (GMB) as an easy and inexpensive digital marketing platform. The method used in this community service activity is participation and mentoring. The result of this activity is that the partner's business has been successfully registered and verified on Google Maps and GMB. The results of the GMB account performance show that during the last one month since it was implemented, the partner's business has been discovered 325 times by potential customers in the internet. This shows that the partner's GMB account has functioned well as a digital marketing platform. This activity also made a GMB-based business website and have been included in the partner's business profile so that their business looks more professional.

Abstract

The university has a role in community service through providing empowerment assistance, training, counseling, mentoring, mentoring and to realize their potential, as well as helping to improve the quality of life and development. Based on the problems faced in the current digital era, in the context of the community service program, we have held a webinar with the theme of the synergy of millennial accountants and millennial farmers in the digital era. The method of implementing Service Activities is to use virtual meeting media by educating young accountants and practitioners in the agricultural sector. In this activity, it can be concluded that the existence of village funds distributed to the community creates an opportunity for young accountants to synergize with farmers in increasing economic value by providing education about the importance of capital management in accordance with the principles in accounting. The activity went well and smoothly, although there were also a few obstacles because there were several unsupportive factors such as the limited frequency of the internet signal, but overall the service ran smoothly.

Abstract

The current era is an era of digitization that is all based on technology and information in the hands of only using a smartphone, it can all be done to support business activities. To provide knowledge about this, the activities of devotion to the community are carried out on Students of Package C PKBM Sahabat Cendekia with the aim that they get knowledge about business opportunities in the era of digitalization. Participants in this community service activity as many as 55 participants. This method of community service uses the OMPMMP method (Field Elevation, Reviewing Problems, Preparing implementation stages, carrying out service, evaluating results and making reports and publications). The result of this devotion participants can understand business opportunities in the era of digitization such as understanding about social media audience profiles, insights about market places, active social media platforms, and understanding about the potential of business in the form of soft skills and communication and challenges in doing business in the era of digitization.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is that there are pro-populist funding alternatives that empower the people's economy and MSMEs in particular, so it is an opportunity for cooperatives to strengthen the basis for the commonality of these goals with the welfare of their members. The role of academics and practitioners is very much needed in providing assistance to MSMEs considering that statistical data shows that the number of MSME actors is increasing and it is expected to increase their capacity and expertise in all fields. The problems faced by MSMEs are not only the lack of assistance, but the main obstacle is the availability of capital and the difficulty of accessing financing from financial institutions. The results of the service are getting easy access to funding by strengthening the function of modern cooperatives and supporting MSMEs to transform following the digital era, namely using digitalization services to be in line with the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

Abstract

An ideal leader is needed for Indonesia. Students as the next generation of the nation will certainly inherit the previous leadership. Students are not only prepared as academics who are studying but are also prepared to go directly to the community. Especially for graduates of social science and political science. Students can apply their knowledge and experience in the environment actively. However, not all students understand the basics of leadership, so it is important to be socialized so that all students can apply the basics of transformational leadership. Community service through socialization and Character-Based Transformational Leadership Education for Strengthening Pancasila Values is carried out at Panca Marga University. The socialization activity was carried out in the pre-event stage with coordination in the Whatsapp group, socialization and question and answer events, and after the event distributing flyers and e-books of socialization materials. The results that can be conveyed from the socialization and education activities are that students understand about character transformational leadership, especially in Indonesia by applying the values of Pancasila.

Abstract

The community empowerment program through the team-based project PKH Shop Pejuang Muda, Ciamis Regency, Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia is an effort to provide skills and creativity to underprivileged communities in the hope of improving the standard of living or financial aspects of the community. Purpose This community service aims to empower underprivileged communities through the Ministry of Social's youth warrior program. Through the PKH Shop team-based project program, underprivileged communities who receive PKH social assistance are encouraged to be better, especially in terms of finance. The provision of entrepreneurship training along with funding for entrepreneurs is the main thing that must be given to be able to build and strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit of the community. The method used to obtain data using a descriptive qualitative approach. The result of this community service is to develop social entrepreneurship to help alleviate poverty in underprivileged communities. It is hoped that this community service will be able to become an example for other regions to empower underprivileged communities through social entrepreneurship.
