Abstract

PT. Perintis Perkasa merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa servis mobil berkala. Dalam pelaksanaannya, proses pencatatan data servis, data pelanggan, data part, data pekerjaan, dan data perbaikan masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan penyusunan laporan, serta kesulitan dalam pengelolaan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi servis mobil berkala berbasis web yang mampu mengelola data secara terintegrasi dan terstruktur. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall, yang meliputi tahapan perumusan masalah, pengumpulan data, analisis sistem, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP native dengan database MySQL serta dijalankan pada web server XAMPP. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk memastikan setiap fungsi berjalan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi yang dibangun mampu mempercepat proses pencatatan servis, meningkatkan akurasi data, serta memudahkan penyajian laporan perbaikan secara real-time. Dengan demikian, sistem ini dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif dalam mendukung operasional dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan servis mobil di PT. Perintis Perkasa.

Abstract

Field Work Practice (PKL) is an important component of vocational education that provides students with real workplace experience. However, scheduling PKL activities often encounters problems such as overlapping schedules, mismatched student quotas, and inefficient time management. At Imelda Medan Vocational High School of Tourism, the scheduling process is still done manually, which often leads to errors and delays. This study proposes a web-based PKL scheduling system using the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) method to generate optimal and efficient schedules. The ACO algorithm imitates the behavior of ants in finding the shortest path, making it suitable for solving complex scheduling problems. The system is expected to minimize schedule conflicts, balance student placement, and simplify data management for schools, students, and partner industries.

Abstract

Mail management is an important activity in various organizations, including government agencies, private companies, and educational institutions. With the advancement of technology, manual filing systems that use paper and filing cabinets are being phased out. The North Sumatra Provincial Representative Office of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), as a state financial supervisory agency, receives a large volume of mail every day. The manual letter filing process often causes various problems, such as lost or damaged letters and overflowing filing cabinets. This can potentially cause delays in decision-making and increase the risk of losing important files. The emergence of the need for a more efficient filing system has encouraged the development of a website-based letter filing system. By implementing a good filing system, organizations can maintain information security, improve work efficiency, and support better decision-making. The method used is a descriptive method by collecting facts and information accurately at the research site. The research results successfully implemented a website-based letter filing system at the BPKP Representative Office of North Sumatra Province to overcome the obstacles that arose from the manual system. Overall, the implementation of this system helps maintain information confidentiality and supports a faster and better decision- making process for the organization.

Abstract

The use of information technology in education is a solution to improve the effectiveness of learning, especially foreign language learning. At PT. Global Mitra Akademi (Oaklearn Center), English and Mandarin language learning still requires more interactive and easily accessible media. This research aims to develop and implement a multimedia website as a learning tool for English and Mandarin for students at PT. Global Mitra Akademi (Oaklearn Center). The problem in this study includes the process of developing and implementing a multimedia website to support learning activities. The system development method used is the waterfall method. Data collection was carried out through observation, literature study, and interviews with staff and students at PT. Global Mitra Akademi (Oaklearn Center). The research results show a positive response; this e-learning website can facilitate access to materials and support English and Mandarin language learning more effectively.

Abstract

PT. Ayub Pri Tower Kreasi operates in the construction and network installation services sector. Based on interviews and observations, work activity reporting is still done manually after the job is completed and by only one person. This creates obstacles such as a lack of information, potential reporting errors, and difficulties in storing and retrieval of historical data. As a result, management does not obtain accurate and real-time information on employee work activities, hampering decision-making and employee performance evaluation. Therefore, this research aims to develop a web-based individual work activity information reporting system. This system is expected to assist management in operations, support decision-making, improve performance, and ensure the accountability of each employee. Through the data and information from the developed system, company management can make effective decisions, conduct evaluations and assess management strategies, and ensure each technician/employee's performance. The system was developed using the waterfall method, which includes analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. System testing was conducted using black box testing to ensure system functions operate as required.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong institusi pendidikan untuk mengadopsi sistem digital dalam pengelolaan data akademik, termasuk pengolahan nilai dan pembuatan raport siswa. SMK Pemda Langkat Bahorok masih menghadapi permasalahan dalam pengelolaan raport yang dilakukan secara manual, seperti keterlambatan proses, risiko kesalahan pencatatan, serta kesulitan dalam penyimpanan dan pencarian data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi raport digital berbasis web dengan menerapkan metode Extreme Programming (XP) guna meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan fleksibilitas pengelolaan nilai siswa. Metode XP dipilih karena menekankan pengembangan sistem secara iteratif, komunikasi intensif dengan pengguna, serta kemampuan beradaptasi terhadap perubahan kebutuhan. Tahapan penelitian meliputi perencanaan, perancangan, pengkodean, dan pengujian sistem secara berulang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi raport digital yang dikembangkan mampu mempermudah guru dalam menginput nilai, mempercepat proses pembuatan raport, serta memberikan kemudahan bagi siswa dan pihak sekolah dalam mengakses informasi akademik. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode Extreme Programming terbukti efektif dalam pengembangan aplikasi raport digital di SMK Pemda Langkat Bahorok.

Abstract

Mahasiswa kelas karyawan memiliki tanggung jawab ganda antara pekerjaan dan perkuliahan, sehingga sering mengalami kesulitan dalam mengatur waktu dan mengingat tugas-tugas penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi pengingat tugas harian berbasis Android yang dapat membantu mahasiswa kelas karyawan di Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi (UNPAB) dalam mengelola aktivitas akademik mereka. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Waterfall yang terdiri dari tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, pengujian, dan evaluasi. Aplikasi dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java dengan database SQLite. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini efektif dalam membantu mahasiswa mengingat tugas dan meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar. Aplikasi ini memiliki antarmuka yang sederhana, ringan, dan dapat digunakan secara offline tanpa memerlukan koneksi internet. Dengan demikian, aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi praktis bagi mahasiswa kelas karyawan dalam mengatur waktu belajar dan bekerja secara seimbang.

Abstract

Learning Management System (LMS) is a technology-based system designed to support online learning processes. This study aims to design and develop a web-based LMS information system using the Waterfall method and the Laravel framework as an effort to enhance internship training at PT. Kodinglab Integrasi Indonesia. The research method involves several stages, including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The objective of this study is to demonstrate that the developed LMS can assist mentors and interns in managing training materials, monitoring progress, and assessing learning outcomes digitally. This system facilitates the learning process and supports self-directed learning

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have brought about substantial changes in the trade sector, particularly through the shift from conventional commerce to electronic commerce (e-commerce). The increasing number of internet users has motivated entrepreneurs to implement digital platforms to improve operational efficiency and expand market reach. This research focuses on the development of a web-based e-commerce system for I-Ko Store, a mobile phone retailer, as a strategic step to address the growing demand for online shopping services. This system was created to systematically organize product orders and is equipped with key features such as an informative product catalog and an integrated digital payment system. The development process involved several stages, including requirements analysis, system design, coding using the PHP programming language, testing, and system maintenance. Functional testing was conducted using a black-box testing approach to verify that each feature worked according to predetermined specifications. The results demonstrated that the system functioned optimally and supported more efficient transaction management. The implementation of this e-commerce system is expected to increase customer satisfaction, optimize business activities, and strengthen I-Ko Store's competitiveness in the digital market.

Abstract

One Computer Store, as a provider of computers, laptops, and other supporting devices, still faces challenges in managing sales transactions, such as manual recording processes, limited market reach, and suboptimal sales growth. This situation affects the efficiency of transactions and the store's competitiveness amid increasingly tight business competition. This research aims to design and build a web-based computer sales information system that is capable of increasing transaction efficiency, expanding the market through online sales, and promoting sales growth. The system development method used is the Prototype model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The system developed provides key features such as product data management, online sales transactions, customer data management, as well as automatic and real-time sales report generation. The results of the study indicate that the web-based information system designed can assist One Computer Store in improving transaction efficiency with faster and more accurate record-keeping, expanding market reach through internet-based access, and supporting increased sales volume. With this system, One Computer Store has a greater opportunity to improve its business competitiveness in digital literacy.
