Abstract

Falak science cannot be separated from the world of pesantren. Nowadays falak science is starting to be less popular in the world of pesantren, it is less populist with other sciences such as nahwu, neuroscience, tahfidz al-Qur'an or hadith, besides that falak is also considered a difficult science because it is identical to mathematics and calculation formulas. However, based on observations made by the author, it turns out that there are still Islamic boarding schools, especially the Islamic Modern Islamic Boarding School (PPMI) Assalaam Surakarta, developing science called CASA (Students Assalam Astronomy Club) with the aim of giving birth to golden generations who are experts in the field of mastering Islamic science, and also become experts in technology and experts in science and astronomy. The type of research used is a type of qualitative research with a field approach (field Reseacrh), where the author analyzes data sources obtained from the field. The data collection methods used are observation, documentation and interview methods. The primary sources are observations and interviews. After the data was collected, the author conducted an analysis using a descriptive analysis method, which describes the strengthening of the astronomy club of the Islamic boarding school and the conditions for the development of science in the Islamic boarding school. The results of this study show that CASA is now growing and has a prestigious place among the community of astrologers. CASA collaborates with Bosscha Observatory in Lembang, Bandung, West Java and builds international networks with Astronomers Without Borders, Astronomy Clubs, Moonsighting Committee Worldwide, to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) owned by the United States government. CASA was certified by NASA for successfully observing and documenting the transit of Venus in June 2012. This transit or eclipse of Venus is a rare natural phenomenon that occurs once every 105 years when the planet Venus passes right on the surface of the sun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis indeks diseminasi moderasi beragama di perguruan tinggi berbasis interaksionisme yang distimulasi melalui dialog (verbal), implementasi dan verifikasi (self sufficient). Dinamika dialogis sering muncul dalam bentuk kajian ide, teori, dan nilai dalam bentuk kritik saran. Dinamika implementasi moderasi beragama merupakan kegiatan dan program. Dinamika verifikasi menghadirkan autentifikasi kebijakan, regulasi, manajemen dan materi. Diseminasi moderasi beragama menghasilkan indeks domain respons positif dan negatif. Kesiapan menerima moderasi beragama diduga berkorelasi dengan dinamika interaksionisme. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menganalisa variabel indeks diseminasi moderasi beragama menggunakan teknik Flanders Interakcion Analysis Categories (FIAC). Variabel diseminasi berbasis interaksionisme diuraikan melalui indikator stimulus (verbal, inplementasi dan verifikasi), dan indikator respon (positif, negatif). Penelitian dilakukan pada April-Mei tahun 2023, dengan 76 responden dari 186 populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dan pengolahan menggunakan statistical approach (SPSS versi 23.0). Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa indeks diseminasi moderasi beragama melalui stimulasi verbal sebesar 37%. Adapun indeks berdasarkan stimulasi implementasi sebesar 20% dan verifikasi sebesar 43%. Hipotesis ini menganalogikan bahwa diseminasi dominan masih pada tahap verifikasi moderasi beragama. Indeks diseminasi dianalisa melalui respon positif mahasiswa sebesar 74% kesiapan untuk melakukan verifikasi dan respons negatif sebesar 26%.

Abstract

The study was conducted to evaluate the results of the implementation of PPDB in Kuttab Ibn Abbas Klaten. The evaluation was carried out using qualitative data. Evaluation is carried out by comparing the appearance of the program with the criteria. This research is an evaluation method research, with a qualitative approach. The study was conducted to evaluate the results of the implementation of PPDB in Kuttab Ibn Abbas Klaten. The evaluation was carried out using qualitative data. Evaluation is carried out by comparing the appearance of the program with the criteria. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that, Kuttab Ibn Abbas Klaten has various problems where the certainty of acceptance time so that it has sufficient obstacles to make many shortcomings in implementation, but can be well controlled because of the coordination between the principal of the chief executive well, so that good programs in the provision of PPDB programs, school programs, provision of PPDB facilities and provision of PPDB facilities because they are seen From the field results show the satisfaction of parents in sending their children to school.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Rahmatan Lil'alamin Islamic Religious Education curriculum model and its impact on strengthening religious moderation values in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. In its background, this research highlights the urgency of educating the younger generation with the values of religious moderation to create a tolerant and harmonious society. The research methodology is qualitative, involving Islamic Religious Education teachers as samples, and using interviews, observation, and documentation as research instruments. The results show that the implementation of the Rahmatan Lil'alamin Curriculum Model has a positive impact in shaping student character. This model emphasizes a balanced understanding of religion, promotes tolerance through interfaith dialogue, and encourages student empowerment as agents of social change. This curriculum also emphasizes moral values and student independence, creating an educational environment that supports the formation of student characters who are moderate, tolerant, and wise in carrying out religious teachings in various life contexts.

Abstract

Islamic education in its journey has experienced a lot of maturation and development until now. This is because it is heavily influenced by the thoughts of figures in implementing the existing learning systems in the educational institutions they develop. The thinking of educational figures is driven by the intersection between the sociocultural realities faced by these figures and the religious thoughts they adhere to, especially Islam. By using literary research methods, this research aims to identify tendencies in Islamic educational philosophy. The aim of this research is to explore the ideological construction of Muslim figures, especially Muslim philosophers, regarding education, because we know that education is the path to human development. The results of this research indicate that the influence of Islamic educational philosophy on the Islamic education model lies in the formation of subjects taught to students. Apart from that, Islamic educational philosophy also helps education find its identity, whether the educational institution adheres to a conservative mindset or a pragmatic and progressive mindset. This study can then also be used as a philosophical basis for every educational practitioner.

Abstract

Recently, the term character education has emerged. Character education has received a lot of attention from Indonesian society. This is because people feel social inequality in educational outcomes. This inequality can be seen from the behavior of current formal education graduates, for example corruption, free sex, drugs and brawls between students. One of the current problems is the low quality of education. This influences student development. This phenomenon is caused by a lack of instilling strong character education management in students. Therefore, character education is needed from the start, namely from childhood. The aim of this research is to describe the implementation of character education management from an Islamic perspective, and to determine the efforts made in implementing character education management from an Islamic perspective. This research is qualitative research, the method used by researchers to obtain data is by 1). Observation. 2). Interview. 3). And documentation. The results of the research show that in Character Education Suhari Ningsih, she always reflects on how to behave well and politely to students and teaches them to speak well.

Abstract

This article discusses how the role of parents is extremely important in motivating children with disabilities in terms of communication and providing support to the child. It explores the role of teachers in assisting students with disabilities, including providing guidance and support in interacting with peers and offering motivation. The purpose of this study is to understand the role of parents in motivating their children in the educational sphere, focusing on emotional control, communication, and interaction within the school environment and the community. This research employs a qualitative method with a field study focus, using phenomenological research design and snowball sampling. It focuses on parents of students in Maron Wetan Village, Probolinggo District. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted in four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study reveals findings about the lack of parental knowledge in parenting, resulting in children with disabilities feeling unmotivated to learn. It indicates that the issue in motivating these children lies in the parents' limited knowledge of parenting.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Arabic language matriculation program at the Postgraduate IAIN Pekalongan, using an analysis of context, input, process and product evaluation models. This research uses quantitative research methods with. The results of the evaluation 1) context aspects, namely the understanding of the Arabic language matriculation program is very high or very good, it can be seen that there is a match between program content, curriculum structure, and program objectives with the understanding of lecturers and students showing a positive relationship. 2) at the input aspect level, it is in the very good category, academic qualifications and competency qualifications in the Arabic language matriculation field for educators show a good category, but there is one indicator that still needs to be improved, namely the supporting infrastructure for the Arabic language matriculation program has not been maximized; 3) evaluation of the process aspect is in the sufficient category, in the implementation of learning, learning strategies and methods as well as the use of learning tools or media have not been maximized, then the time allocation has not gone according to plan or has not been effective; 4) evaluation of product aspects. are in the sufficient category. The achievements set in the Arabic language matriculation program have not fully met the target.

Abstract

Islamic education is a deliberate and planned effort aimed at guiding learners towards the formation of noble personalities, intending to guide their lives towards happiness in both the present world and the afterlife according to Islamic teachings. However, the reality reveals that many learners tend to view Islamic religious education as a subject or course that they must pass to meet minimal graduation requirements, without truly internalizing the values and teachings of Islam for practical application in their daily lives. The aim of this research is to integrate neo-Sufism concepts into the approach of Islamic religious education. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing library research methods. The data sources and analysis are drawn from credible scholarly literature. Data validity is verified through content analysis techniques. The result of this research indicate that the neo-Sufism approach to Islamic religious education is an intentional and structured effort directed towards cultivating knowledgeable and morally upright learners. Its primary objective is to enhance the quality of education by not solely focusing on the esoteric dimension of learners but also emphasizing the exoteric dimension and the reconstruction of social ethics. It was implemented by providing gradual spiritual exercises (riyadlah) tailored to the learners' conditions.

Abstract

Research on social interaction has always been an important topic of study because good social interaction is the basis for building peace between different religions, races and cultures. This research aims to discuss hadiths that explain inclusive attitudes.The formal object in this research is the science of hadith, while the material object is the hadith about openness or tolerance narrated by Imam Muslim. Results of this researchis that the status of the hadith regarding an inclusive attitude of ṣahih quality with the qualification maqbul ma'mul bih for the experience of religious communities as a form of closeness. The conclusion of this research isMuslim historical hadiths are relevant to be used as a reference for the world of education in Indonesia towards inclusive and tolerant education.
