Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as one of the oldest educational institutions in Indonesia have an important role in introducing entrepreneurship to students. To grow and develop an entrepreneurial spirit and create entrepreneurs, of course we need certain parties, whether government or private or individuals. Entrepreneurial development through instilling an entrepreneurial attitude or mentality, namely with an attitude of independence, honesty, and discipline. And entrepreneurial development through skills. The role of the Darul Muslim Tulung Balak Islamic boarding school in creating an entrepreneurial spirit, namely Dare to take risks, is carried out by implementing business management consisting of planning, organizing, preparing personnel, directing, and supervising. Being innovative is carried out by forming an entrepreneurship program in the form of agricultural and fishery businesses. Being proactive is carried out by dividing tasks to each student, as well as giving punishment in the form of sanctions if students are not proactive in carrying out all their obligations. Pondok Pesantren Darul Muslim has carried out its function as an institution that provides entrepreneurship education which is carried out in two ways, namely: cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit and developing entrepreneurship through skills. In this case, the role of the Darul Muslim Islamic Boarding School is to provide teaching by providing material and theory in developing the soft skills of students and female students. And this learning is not only carried out in theory and material, but students or students and supervisors jointly apply the theory that has been obtained before in field practice.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan hal penting yang harus ditanamkan pada santri. Muhadharah merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dapat menanamkan pendidikan karakter. Maka dari itu, Pondok Pesantren Riyadul Fattah AL-Barqi Desa Purwodadi Kecamatan Gisting Kabupaten Tanggamus mempunyai cara untuk menanamkan pendidikan karakter melalui kegiatan muhadharah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Untuk mengetahui penanaman karakter santriwati dalam pembiasaan Muhadharah Usbuiyah di Pondok Pesantren Riyadul Fattah Al- Barqi Desa Purwodadi Kecamatan Gisting Kabupaten Tanggamus. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-Deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data model Matthew B. Milles yang meliputi: kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta verifikasi dan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data mengguanakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Penelitian ini memperoleh kesimpulan penanaman nilai pendidikan karakter percaya diri dalam kegiatan muhadharah di Pondok Pesantren Riyadul Fattah Al-Barqi Desa Purwodadi Kecamatan Gisting Kabupaten Tanggamus yaitu para santriwati terlihat percaya diri dalam berpidato

Abstract

In fact, the HOTS assessment is intended for students who are capable of higher-order thinking. However, the reality that occurs in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia in international competition, such as the PISA ranking, is still at level 1. This study aims to compare the application of HOTS assessments in schools between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. This study uses a systematic review through review of students' Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) journals in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. The study's results found (1) The application of HOTS assessments in Indonesia is more of an assessment in the form of questions and reading literacy activities. Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, to improve students' higher-order thinking skills, they must pay more attention to learning approaches and strategies. (2) The type of assessment that exists in Indonesia today is the formative assessment to improve the learning process while summative after the learning process ends. Whereas in Saudi Arabia the assessment is more of an evaluation than a test in the realm of summative, formative and computer-assisted assessment. This research is beneficial for student achievement because there are assessment practices that suit student needs. In addition, this comparison can be a reference for further research to find similarities and differences in understanding the application of the assessment.

Abstract

This research aims to find out several forms of violations of school rules and how to deal with students who violate rules at TMI Roudlotul Qur'an 3 Sekampung Middle School. The method used in this research is qualitative field research. Data collection uses triangulation (interviews, observation and documentation). The data taken was based on interviews with teachers and students at TMI Roudlotul Qur'an 3 Sekampung Middle School which were used as research objects. Then it is supported by observation data and strengthened by documentary evidence. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that first, the forms of violation of school rules at TMI Roudlotul Qur'an 3 Sekampung Middle School are often arriving late to school, still using inappropriate school attributes, skipping class during school hours, and there are still many alpha students. Second, the students' own internal factors still prioritize laziness and a lack of awareness that studying is very important. Third, environmental factors, this also influences the good and bad character of the student. The way to deal with students who violate school rules is that the teacher gives a direct warning by providing direction and motivation so that students change for the better. Providing special warnings in the form of letters or agreements given to students and parents by the school principal or guidance counselor so that students are reluctant to repeat the violations that have been made.

Abstract

Ada banyak cara dalam menyampaikan pendidikan akhlak, salah satunya adalah dengan mengkaji sejarah dan biografi orang-orang yang dekat dengan Nabi Muhammad SAW. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mencari nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak yang terkandung dalam sirah khadijah karangan Abdul Mun’im Muhammad dan untuk mengetahui relevansi nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak yang terkandung dalam sirah khadijah terhadap pendidikan saat ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pustaka. Jenis pendekatannya adalah deduktif dan metode analisisnya adalah analisis isi. Berdasarkan penelitian/telaah pustaka yang telah dilakukan, nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak yang terkandung dalam buku Sirah Khadijah dapat disimpulkan terdiri dari akhlak terhadap Allah (meliputi: mentauhidkan Allah, takwa kepada Allah, dzikrullah, tawakal, dan syukur), akhlak terhadap diri sendiri (meliputi: sabar, amanah, memelihara kesucian diri, benar, menepati janji, dan teguh), akhlak terhadap sesama (meliputi: berbuat baik pada sesama dan suka menolong orang lain/dermawan). Nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam buku Sirah Khadijah sangat relevan dengan pendidikan saat ini sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional yaitu membentuk kepribadian yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Allah serta berakhlak mulia sehingga nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak yang terkandung dalam buku Sirah Khadijah dapat menjadi acuan atau pedoman dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini.

Abstract

Strengthening Character Education was launched by the government to build and equip students as Indonesia's golden generation in 2045. Islamic education, as one of the pillars of character formation in society, should play a role in strengthening character education and building a golden Indonesia. This research tries to analyze the thoughts of Islamic figures who pay attention to ethics, morals, and character education. So the results can be a reference for the development and implementation of Islamic education. This research is qualitative and is included in the library research category. Data was collected using documentation techniques and analyzed using descriptive-analytic techniques. The analysis steps are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research show that several components of education are in Ibnu Miskawaih's thinking as one of the Islamic education thinkers. Starting from the objectives, materials, methods, and educational environment. Ibnu Miskawaih's thoughts, which focus on ethics and morals, have an integration that is strengthened by character education's efforts to build the spirit of Pancasila and the character of students.

Abstract

The idea of a pesantren that accommodates philosophy in its curriculum seems to be a strange one still. The data in Direktorat Madrasah Diniyah dan Pondok Pesantren (The Directorate of Islamic Education and Pesantren) doesn't mention a kind of such pesantren whatsoever. The existence of Pesantren Luhur Baitul Hikmah changes that impression, so it is important to reveal the background of this pesantren and how philosophy is taught in it. To fulfill these goals, this research is designed to be qualitative that collects its data by observations, interviews and documentations and analyzes them by using Miles and Hubermann's technique. This research found that Pesantren Luhur Baitul Hikmah became so accommodative to philosophy because it was originally a discussion group that evolved to be a pesantren. Philosophy was taught there by using three methods inspired by Qur'anic verses 96:1-5. First, the bandongan teaching method through Arabic philosophical texts. Second, the discussion method comprises weekly discussion and accidental discussion. Third, the learning-through-writing method which has already become a cultural habit there due to the exemplary of the kiai, the proliferation of social media, and the more affordable printing costs.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of parental education in efforts to prevent gambling behaviour among teenagers aged 15-17 years and the causes of teenagers gambling online in Yoso Makmur Hamlet. Parents have a role in the personal growth and development of a child, being fully responsible for guiding and educating their children. Due to the impact of the speed of technological development, many teenagers commit deviations in the form of gambling games online. This research aims to explore the role of parental education in preventing adolescent online gambling behaviour. This research method uses a qualitative approach, and data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of the analysis show that open communication, building decision-making skills, active supervision and providing an understanding of the risks of online gambling are the keys to effective parent education in preventing teenage online gambling.

Abstract

Penelitian tersebut mendalami terjadinya ghasab di kalangan santri di Pondok Pesantren Sunan Kudus yang merangkum wilayah Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Dengan menggunakan metodologi penelitian lapangan, penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi dalam pengumpulan data (terdiri dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi). Subyek penelitiannya adalah kyai, ustad, dan santri di Pondok Pesantren Sunan Kudus yang terletak di Kecamatan Sari Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Temuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan:  (1 Kajian terhadap peristiwa Ghasab Santri di Pondok Pesantren Sunan Kudus didekati dari sudut pandang sosio-fenomenologis. (2 Mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penentu yang mendorong santri melakukan ghasab. (3 Menganalisis faktor-faktor psikologis, agama, dan ideologi yang menjadi penyebab santri melakukan ghasab. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi perolehan data empiris melalui observasi langsung, wawancara terstruktur, dan penelitian kearsipan Kredibilitas data dijamin melalui pemanfaatan metodologi triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi data. Analisis data melibatkan proses sistematis seperti pemilihan data, kategorisasi, segmentasi untuk pemrosesan, pengenalan pola, dan penentuan area untuk elaborasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi temuan. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa para siswa menganggap ghasab sebagai hal yang tidak penting dan terkadang bahkan tidak berbahaya, karena mereka akrab satu sama lain dan memiliki rasa saling percaya dan ketulusan.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan faktor kunci dalam mencapai prestasi belajar siswa, khususnya pada pembelajaran PAI yang memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual siswa. Akan tetapi, motivasi siswa pada saat proses pembelajaran sering mengalami masalah sehingga membuat siswa tidak mempunyai gairah untuk belajar. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan kajian pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi pola-pola motivasi siswa berdasarkan motivasi-motivasi yang diajukan oleh teori motivasi McClelland. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi prestasi, kekuasaan, dan afiliasi memainkan peran yang berbeda dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran PAI. Motivasi prestasi memberikan dorongan untuk mencapai prestasi akademik yang tinggi, motivasi kekuasaan mempengaruhi siswa untuk berperan aktif dalam kegiatan kelompok di kelas, sedangkan motivasi afiliasi mengarahkan siswa untuk menjalin hubungan yang baik dengan teman kelas dan guru. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan teori motivasi McCelland dapat meningkatkan strategi pembelajaran PAI. Guru dapat merancang pendekatan yang sesuai dengan motivasi siswa, seperti memberikan tantangan bagi siswa, mendorong kolaborasi, dan memberikan tanggung jawab. Namun perlu diketahui bahwa faktor-faktor lain seperti budaya, lingkungan, karakteristik materi pembelajaran juga berkontribusi terhadap motivasi belajar PAI. Penelitian ini memberikan pandangan tentang motivasi belajar PAI dan memberikan dasar bagi pendidikan untuk merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif dan inklusif.
