Abstract

Writing international journal articles is an important skill for postgraduate students to contribute to the development of science. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Blended Intensive Coaching Clinic (BICC) method in improving international journal article writing skills among IAIN Pekalongan postgraduate students. This research method involves the use of a blended learning approach which combines online and face-to-face learning. A number of IAIN Pekalongan postgraduate students are guided intensively through writing clinics, which include online training, face-to-face sessions and structured feedback. Evaluation is carried out through qualitative and quantitative analysis of progress in international journal article writing skills. The research results show a significant increase in international journal article writing skills after participating in the BICC program. Students showed improvements in understanding article structure, writing quality, and ability to construct arguments and research ideas. Direct feedback from supervisors also contributes positively to student development. This research contributes to the understanding of the use of blended learning methods in the context of improving academic writing skills, especially in the context of postgraduate students. The practical implication of this research is that BICC can be an effective approach to improve the quality of graduate students' scientific writing, preparing them for active participation in the international scientific community

Abstract

This research discusses human values ​​in the Prophet's hadith in terms of the quality of the hadith in the history, sanad, and matan and the content of the hadith. This research aims to find the results of partial analysis and simultaneous analysis of the Prophet's hadith regarding husbands' good deeds toward their wives and other people. The partial analysis in the research aims to determine the quality of the hadith sanad and matan. After partial analysis, the quality of hadith in sanad and matan found the sanad authentic and the matn hadith too authentic. Simultaneous analysis was conducted to determine whether the hadith also existed in other histories with different historical paths. The results simultaneously hadiths in the research only came from one friend, namely Aisyah R.A. and the hadith in the research is included in the ahad ghorib hadith category. The content of the hadith can be known through discussion hadith jurisprudence so that it can reveal the true message the Prophet conveys. The hadith in the research means that a husband must do good to his wife and others

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the influence of the behaviour of madrasah principals on the performance of State Elementary Schools in Bandar Lampung City. The research method used was a regression study with a population of 493 and a sample of 123 people spread across 12 MIN using cluster random sampling techniques. The research instruments used were rating scales and Likert scale questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The research data were analyzed using simple regression techniques. The results of the data analysis showed that: the behaviour of madrasah principals has a direct relationship. The behaviour of madrasah principals in Bandar Lampung City has an effect on school performance, but it is not significant.

Abstract

Character education is a process by which a nation prepares its nation's generation to be able to achieve a quality life. Related to this problem needs to be researched where this study is about: the values of character education through the Boarding School program at MAN 1 West Lampung. With the formulation of the problem, namely: first, what are the values of character education developed in the boarding school program at MAN 1 West Lampung? Second, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of character education values in MAN 1 West Lampung? The method in this study is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation. From this study, several conclusions were produced about character education at MAN 1 West Lampung Boarding School, namely: the values of character education contained include religious character, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, friendly or communicative, responsibility and care for the environment. There are supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of environment. There are supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of character education values, these factors include internal factors such as innate and personality, as well as external factors such as family, friends, and the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The research aims to understand the alignment and the impact resulting from the study and deepening of Aswaja on the development of religious moderation. The method used is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research findings reveal that Aswaja has four principles to adhere to: tawasuth, tawazun, tasamuh, and tawazun. Meanwhile, religious moderation encompasses nine principles: humanity, public welfare, justice, balance, constitutional compliance, national commitment, tolerance, anti-violence, and respect for traditions. The implications of studying Aswaja for religious moderation are significant. Tawasuth fosters inclusivity, dialogue, and a deep understanding of religion. Tawazun emphasizes balance, prevents extremism, and promotes tolerance. Tasamuh supports the acceptance of differences, rejects radicalism, and creates harmony. I'tidal enables a profound understanding of religion and the preservation of justice. Aswaja education prioritizes attitudes that empower individuals to actively contribute to building an inclusive, tolerant, and just society, in line with moderate religious principles. As a result, these attitudes have a significant positive impact on the development of religious moderation.

Abstract

Currently, the use of artificial intelligence has become widespread, especially among students. However, there is a consensus that artificial intelligence brings about some changes in students' intellectual lives, particularly when used excessively. One of the tangible transformations is related to the authorithy of knowledge, where students prefer to complete assignments with the assistance of artificial intelligence without seeking other authoritative sources. This research aims to find answers to the following questions: How has the use of artificial intelligence spread among students? What significant changes in students' intellectual lives as the impact of excessive use of artificial intelligence, particularly concerning the transformation in the authority of knowledge? This study is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach to investigate a variety of phenomena surrounding the research topic directly from the field. The research was conducted in the Department of Arabic Language Education at STAI Syaichona Moh. Cholil Bangkalan. This research found that: students use AI in learning, such as ChatGPT, chatbots, and AI-based electronic dictionaries, primarily because their lectures are related to language translation. Furthermore, this research also found that a transformation in the authority of knowledge has occurred, transitioning from lecturers and authoritative books to reliable websites, opinions of intellectual figures, and journals published by universities.

Abstract

This paper summaries factors affecting teachers’ decision to use ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in teaching modern languages. This paper tries to understand the teachers’ ICT uptake from ecological perspective discussing that teachers’ attitudes are influenced by environments in different levels (e.g. micro, meso, macro). In this paper, the environments refer to micro as teacher, meso as institution, and macro as beyond institution levels. Teacher levels define the aspects related to teachers’ psychological and demographic characteristics. Institutions levels describe the teachers’ decision from the influence of support and social circle in the institution. Beyond institution levels discuss the influence from wider environments such as government and public demand.

Abstract

This research discusses gender equality implemented at the Nurul Qodiri Islamic Boarding School in Central Lampung and viewed from an Islamic perspective. In the background of this research, it is stated that gender is a cultural concept that is used to differentiate the roles, behavior, mentality and emotional characteristics of men and women that apply within society. Meanwhile, gender equality itself means equal opportunities for men and women to obtain their human rights as human beings and obtain appropriate roles in the nation and state. In Islamic studies, it is stated that there is no difference between men and women before God, but rather the level of faith and deeds of worship. Islam teaches its people to implement gender equality by mutual love and respect for fellow Muslim brothers. The purpose of this research is to study and investigate gender equality and how the concept of gender equality is implemented in the Nurul Qodiri Islamic Boarding School environment in Central Lampung. This research was conducted using a qualitative field approach method. The results of this research are that all male and female students at the Nurul Qodiri Islamic Boarding School in Central Lampung have received their respective rights as students and students, all existing activities can be participated in by all students, and all genders can also get the same positions and positions. in accordance with Islamic guidance and Islamic boarding school rules.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatar belakangi banyaknya mahasantri Rumah Tahfidz Cahaya Al-Qur'an An-Nahl 4 Mataram yang memiliki banyak hafalan namun sulit dalam mengingat dan mempertahankan hafalan yang dimiliki. Padahal memperkuat hafalan adalah kewajiban penghafal Al-Qur’an agar hafalan mereka tidak dilupakan. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mendeskrifsikan implementasi metode tasmi' dalam memperkuat hafalan Al-Qur'an mahasantri Rumah Tahfidz Cahaya Al-Qur'an An-Nahl 4 Mataram serta mengetahui factor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat. Penelitian ini memiliki jenis kualitatif deskriptif karena penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan suatu masalah, kondisi atau peristiwa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara . Analisis data menggunakan teori Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi metode tasmi’ dalam memperkuat hafalan Al-Qur’an Mahasantri Rumah Tahfidz Cahaya Al-Qur’an An-Nahl 4 Mataram dilakukan melalui dua cara yaitu tasmi’ antar teman dan tasmi’ sesuai perolehan juz. Adapun faktor pendukung implementasi metode tasmi’dalam memperkuat hafalan Al-Qur’an Mahasantri Rumah Tahfidz Cahaya Al-Qur’an An-Nahl 4 Mataram yaitu motivasi diri dan orang terdekat, menggunakan satu mushaf dalam menghapal dan menciptakan lingkungan bernuansa islami. Adapun faktor penghambatnya yaitu adanya rasa malas, kurang percaya diri, dan Kurang disiplin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis modal sosial berbasis pendidikan Islam multikultural di Desa Sukorejo, Kotaanyar, Probolinggo. Problem yang dikaji adalah bagaimana intensitas hubungan dalam kelompok, khususnya keluarga penerima manfaat Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH), berdampak pada pemberdayaan keluarga dan masyarakat, serta bagaimana peran pendidikan Islam multikultural dalam membentuk modal sosial masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas hubungan dalam kelompok, terutama kelompok peserta PKH, memberikan kekuatan, menjaga kepercayaan, membentuk jaringan yang sesuai dengan kepentingan bersama, dan mengatasi masalah dalam keberagaman. Kelompok masyarakat dengan modal sosial tinggi memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan dengan kelompok lainnya, yang diukur dengan kepercayaan dan koneksi interpersonal. Pendidikan Islam multikultural berperan penting dalam membentuk modal sosial masyarakat, mengembangkan kompetensi individu agar mampu menerima perbedaan, bersikap terbuka, saling percaya, saling pengertian, saling menghargai, dan mampu menyelesaikan masalah tanpa kekerasan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa modal sosial berbasis pendidikan Islam multikultural memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk hubungan yang kuat dalam kelompok masyarakat. Modal sosial ini membantu memecahkan masalah, menjaga kepercayaan, dan membentuk jaringan yang berguna dalam mencapai tujuan bersama. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan Islam multikultural dapat menjadi salah satu instrumen yang efektif dalam membangun masyarakat yang inklusif dan harmonis.
