Abstract

Gender-Based Islamic Education Classroom Management focuses on creating a learning environment that respects and accommodates the distinct needs and roles of male and female students, in line with Islamic principles. This research aims to review several articles on gender-based islamic education classroom management and generate new ideas to reduce gender bias and increase active participation and student achievement in the learning process. This research uses an article review method, which involves summarizing several published articles, comparing them, providing critiques, and generating new construction or ideas as a development of scientific knowledge. The results of this research include reviews of several articles on the new concept of educational management, namely separated classroom management, as a factor that can improve student achievement. The critique of this concept is that while it has been implemented in many places, it is only suitable for monolithic institutions and not suitable for multicultural institutions. The construction of this concept applies supervision management as a solution to concerns about disrupting the learning process.

Abstract

This study explores teaching strategies employed by English for Specific Purposes (ESP) teachers at a private university in Lampung, focusing on two faculties: Medical and Economics. Using a qualitative research design, six English teachers were interviewed to examine their practices in delivering ESP instruction. The study aimed to understand how teaching strategies are tailored to address the differing academic backgrounds and English proficiency levels of medical and economics students. Data were analyzed using the framework outlined by Miles et al. (2018), focusing on themes such as teaching materials, subject matter, classroom activities, and the use of students’ native language. Findings reveal that medical English instruction often integrates specialized content, such as medical terminology, authentic texts, and professional communication tasks, with teachers systematically introducing technical vocabulary and employing task-based learning. Conversely, economics instruction emphasizes real-world scenarios through case studies, simulations, and group discussions, but teachers face challenges in adapting resources due to the lack of standardized materials. Both groups of students displayed distinct learning characteristics, requiring teachers to adopt flexible approaches, such as code-switching to ensure comprehension and incorporating digital tools like Quizizz and Kahoot to enhance engagement. The study highlights the critical role of contextualized and adaptable teaching strategies in ESP, emphasizing the need for specialized materials, professional development for teachers, and greater collaboration between language educators and subject-matter experts. These findings provide valuable insights for improving ESP instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners in higher education.

Abstract

This study is a meta-analysis aimed at examining the influence of entrepreneurship education on university students' entrepreneurial intentions. Data were derived from 15 articles published in academic journals between 2019 and 2024, using a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings reveal that entrepreneurship education significantly enhances entrepreneurial intentions by developing entrepreneurial skills, mindsets, and attitudes. Internal factors, such as personal motivation and self-confidence, as well as external factors, such as family support and campus environment, also influence entrepreneurial intentions. Additionally, practice-based learning methods are proven to be more effective than theoretical approaches in fostering entrepreneurial intentions among students. While most studies indicate positive effects, the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education can be influenced by the approaches applied and external support. This study recommends a holistic approach to maximize the impact of entrepreneurship education on students' entrepreneurial intentions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of technological advancements on social interactions in the digital era. Using the meta-analysis method, data were collected from 15 relevant journals through a Google Scholar search. The findings reveal that technological advancements, particularly the use of gadgets and social media, have positive impacts, such as expanding social networks and facilitating communication. However, negative impacts were also identified, including a decline in the quality of social relationships due to reduced face-to-face interactions, increased social isolation, and various health issues. This study provides recommendations for the wise use of technology, such as through digital education and limiting gadget usage, to balance the benefits of technology with the quality of social relationships.

Abstract

The role of women in the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has a significant impact, especially in developing countries. Women have made substantial contributions in managing businesses, ranging from micro to medium scale. This study aims to examine the role of women in the development of MSMEs through a meta-analysis of various previous studies. The analysis shows that women play an important role in capital management, production, distribution, and marketing of MSMEs, despite facing challenges such as dual roles, lack of family support, limited access to finance, and insufficient training and personal development opportunities. Nevertheless, women demonstrate remarkable resilience by utilizing digital marketing and supporting government policies such as the KUR (People's Business Credit) and UMi (Ultra Micro) programs. Education, experience, and a positive attitude toward risk also play a vital role in the success of female entrepreneurs. To enhance women's contributions to MSMEs, it is essential to improve access to entrepreneurial training, better business management practices, and support from families and communities. With the right steps, women's empowerment can strengthen the local economy, create jobs, and reduce gender gaps, making MSMEs more inclusive and sustainable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the applicability of Abdul Karim Amrullah's conception of Islamic education in the modern day. Using a descriptive-qualitative methodology, this study examines a number of works that address the applicability of the idea of Islamic education from the viewpoint of Abdul Karim Amrullah in the modern period. The study's findings demonstrate that the curriculum or educational system put in place by Haji Rasul is still regarded as "ordinary" and masculine. According to multiple people the author spoke with, even Haji Rasul (HAMKA) "did not like" the curriculum and teaching strategies he employed at his Sumatra Thawalib school. At the local school where HAMKA first received his education, he thought he was having the most fun. He was quite constrained as a child, nevertheless, and did not feel as comfortable once his father moved him to Thawalib School in 1918. Therefore, rather than being overburdened with the stuff he had to memorize in class, tiny HAMKA decided to study in his own way, which involved spending more time in his teacher Zainuddin Labay el-Yunusy's library. But it is important to keep in mind that modern, more sophisticated education began with the Islamic education reform that Dr. H. Abdul Karim Amrullah, also known as Haji Rasul, initiated at the turn of the 20th century.

Abstract

This research aims to examine Credit System-Based Learning Management in Serving Highly Intelligent Students in Madrasas. This research method uses research and development methods and has the aim of improving Madrasah institutions. The average number of credits taken each semester is 40 credits. The research results show that the SKS based curriculum preparation model is used for students with fast learning characteristics, who require activities to compress material to find important material. Therefore, due to the use of credit-based curriculum in smart classes, there is an additional need to reduce the size of the curriculum. The SKS-based curriculum preparation model takes five steps. First, the number of lesson hours for all subjects throughout the year at Madrasah Aliyah is calculated. Then, the value of the package conversion to credits is divided by two, and then the conversion results, which are credit hours, are distributed throughout the semester. After that, each semester the number of credits that will be given from the beginning of the semester to the end of the semester is calculated. Once found, the total number of credits for each semester is divided by the number of study days (six days a week). If it has been found, it is ready to be held according to the demands for the number of credits charged in each subject.
