Abstract

Old Village is located in one of the Districts of Hamparan Perak, Deli Serdang Regency of North Sumatra Province. The activities carried out by Mr. Sabarudin and some members in the Old Village of Hamparan Perak are producing traditional dodol-type food. Although only traditional food but the food is no less competitive amid popular food in the community. But there is one problem that is related to the promotion carried out by Mr. Sabarudin and members, still using manual methods and only done by word of mouth only. The methods used in this devotion are observation, interview, approach and training. With the application of these methods aims to facilitate in the process of community service implementation in the creation of promotional videos. The implementation stage of the activity starts from the preparation stage of implementation, and evaluation that focuses on skills in making a sales promotion using video media. The results obtained in activities and training in the use of video media as a means of promotion are to increase absorption and income for Mr. Sabarudin and members. Before this training was held the promotion of dodol was only by word of mouth. This community service activity is useful for dodol making business actors in the Old Village of Hamparan Perak Subdistrict.

Abstract

The new curriculum which revises the SMK 2018, revised curriculum focuses on the used information and telecommunications technology. These curriculum have several renewals such as the emergence of the name office automation and governance and also the emergence of subjects with availability of digital and technology. One of the subjects highlighted was electronic archiving to answer these challenges. The purpose of this service were to improve the competence of teachers and staff of SMKN Cisarua in the field of electronic filing systems with the IWSM program and the introduction of the wordpress application. This service method hybird. Delta, the results of the evaluation of the average post test score compared to  pree test, increased by 18%, this shows a positive result. With the attendance rate of participants for 5 days of training of 82,4%. This indicates that the high enthusiasm of the participants.

Abstract

The implementation of the Partnership Program is a program to increase the ability of small businesses to become resilient and independent and Community Development is a program for empowering the social conditions of the community, hereinafter referred to as PKBL by State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in the vicinity of the SOE's operations. As one of the leading SOEs, PT. Waskita Karya Tbk. also implement, but in its implementation there are still discrepancies and obstacles. The problem in this scientific paper is how the PKBL implementation of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk is compatible with SOE PERMENEG Number PER-09/MBU/07/2015 and what obstacles are faced by PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk. in the implementation of the PKBL. The research method used is a descriptive normative juridical research using secondary data which is analyzed qualitatively by means of deductive logic. Based on the research results of PT Waskita (Persero) Tbk, there is still a discrepancy with the PERMENEG BUMN Number Per-09/Mbu/07/2015. The constraints faced in the implementation of PKBL by PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk are due to limited human resources and also accessibility to conduct field surveys. There are also some fostered partners who do not have good faith in the implementation of the Partnership Program.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused difficulties for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, including students of the Bina Amanah Cordova School of Entrepreneurship which is a free diploma 1 (D1) school. SKBAC students or students are mostly young entrepreneurs or prospective entrepreneurs who are currently experiencing difficulties such as declining sales and even being forced to close due to COVID-19. One of the causes of the decline in sales is the difficulty of communicating with consumers considering that people choose not to leave their homes for shopping. For this reason, training on marketing communication strategies is carried out so that they can develop effective marketing communication strategies in reaching their target consumers. The method in carrying out training activities is to provide counseling to students. The counselors explain some of the tools that can be used in marketing communications such as advertising, sales promotion, events and experiences, direct marketing, publications, social media marketing, and personal selling. The results of this training show that students begin to understand the importance of marketing communication, can develop appropriate marketing communication strategies and can choose the right communication tools, one of which is social media marketing.

Abstract

Along with the development of technology and the needs of society, the production of packaged food and beverages is growing rapidly. Various materials are used as containers, mostly plastic, especially as drink containers. Besides being relatively cheap, lightweight, hygienic, it is also easy to process into an aesthetic and functional form. Unfortunately, this material is very difficult to decompose, so it has the potential to become waste that damages the environment and disturbs the view. Students at Islamic boarding schools are the next generation of the nation. Apart from primarily studying religious knowledge, they are also responsible for protecting and saving the environment. With self-financing, Raudhatul Ishlah Islamic Boarding School has limited funds to carry out daily student activities. For this reason, training that provides additional skills will be very beneficial for the students. The training method begins with a basic lecture on colors, design principles, an overview of the work to be made and tries to develop the creativity of the students by utilizing plastic bottle waste combined with natural materials around the pesantren. From this training, students get additional useful knowledge and skills so that they are more creative and productive. so that it can help students fill their spare time with positive activities and produce products according to the needs of students in Islamic boarding schools

Abstract

This community service article discusses the process of Open House activities in one of the housing estates in Cileungsi Bogor, with the theme "Awakening Children's Creative Imagination". This Open House activity is considered the most appropriate to accommodate children's power of expression and creativity. In addition to the Dream House coloring event, the Committee also held a Fashion Show Competition at the Elementary School Level. The purpose of this activity is to increase artistic creativity and develop artistic skills in children. The competition method is where the contestants register the competition to be followed and are given tasks according to the chosen competition, for the selection of the winner of the competition the committee involves professional art judges, in accordance with the competition system an agreement from the organizers, namely Relife Greenville Housing and the jury. The elements that are assessed in the coloring competition are neatness, creativity, color composition, harmony with the theme. While the value elements in the Fashion Show competition are expression, skill and courage to appear on stage, agility, obedience and how to walk on the catwalk. From these elements, the winners of the coloring competition, 1st place with a score of 342, 2nd place with a value of 330, and 3rd place with a value of 325 while for the fashion show competition in 1st place with a value of 334, 2nd place with a value of 324 and 3rd place with a value of 321. This competition is very beneficial both in terms of children who have new experiences, and can motivate children to develop their talents and interests.

Abstract

Mitra Promas is a group of women vegetable farmers who only work as housewives and sometimes as seasonal labourers. This PKM activity was carried out in Suralaga Village, Suralaga District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara from April to December with the aim of awakening the entrepreneurial spirit of housewives in this village with easy, cheap and always grown vegetable ingredients. Soil fertility in this village has the potential to grow various types of vegetables because the water system is smooth so it does not need rain water or is not seasonal. Farmers in Suralaga village tend to choose vegetables instead of rice because of the short planting time. The products that will be introduced in this PKM activity are white mustard (Brassica Rappa) which is a type of horticultural plant that has high nutritional value if used properly and with a touch of technology so that it can provide added value economically to increase people's income and create job opportunities. . The purpose of this PKM activity is to train housewives to develop an entrepreneurial spirit that has been in hiatus for a long time because basically the business group that will be fostered is a business group that has existed, namely KUB WATISA (Joint Business Group for Women Farmers and Vegetables Suralaga but it doesn't work well).

Abstract

The background of foster children in Kemala Puji orphanage are mostly from poor families, orphans, neglected, and homeless child. The institution have been serve, nurture, and empower by providing them a sufficient living. Hence, it still needs a better improvement. This is because these children deserve to be made for the next generation. This activity aims to rise of social care between humanity in adolescents, especially for children in the orphanage. This have been done by imparting knowledge to them about healthy internet. Moreover, its increases understanding how to use the internet more healthily, properly and to anticipate of cyber bullying against them. The outcome of training activities are the youth children have been understood how to use a healthy internet, and they have been sufficient skills how to use internet which was given during the training.

Abstract

Creative economy entrepreneurs and the community around this tourist destination should be a concern for many parties, their readiness in dealing with changes that occur mus be balanced with the knowledge and strategies they must have in order to make it potential to be able to improve their standard of living and independence in entrepreneurship. The increase in creative economy business actors, they can provide employment opportunities for themselves and their surroundings so that the development of the tourism sector can go hand in hand with the development of the creative economy of the surrounding community. Assistance in developing business strategies is currently an important requirement for the Muara Jambi village community to be able to compete with other private and large entrepreneurs, so that they also have benefit from the development of these tourist destinations. The achievement target of  this activity is a change in mindset so that their business is more business-oriented with accsess to online-based sales. The Result from this activity are small business traders and local residents who are very enthusiastic and understanding of the material that has been provided is expected to be realized soon to increase family income.

Abstract

Latar belakang pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) adalah sebagai kewajiban kepada kami sebagai dosen dalam Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. Kami mendapatkan data yang kami lakukan pada tanggal 10 Januari 2018 pada murid setingkat SLTP di pesantren ini pada umumnya kurang mengenal tentang pendidikan setelah lulus nanti. Pelaksaaan pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Fajrussalam dalam bidang agama sudah bagus tetapi kami menemukan bahwa pendidikan ilmu eksakta banyak kekurangannya. Tujuan pelaksanaan PkM kami adalah memberikan peningkatan pengajaran ilmu eksakta yang berupa saran, pelatihan dan sumbangan. Dalam pelaksanaan PkM ini ada beberapa cara yang kami lakukan saran untuk kurikulum kami yaitu kami memberikan contoh kurikulum; pelatihan ilmu eksakta untuk para pengajar mata pelajaran eksakta dan ceramah tentang ilmu eksakta dan hubungannya dengan pendidikan tinggi serta sumbangan bahan ajar. Pelaksanaan PkM ini merupakan lanjutan yang telah kami lakukan selama beberapa kali di Pesantern ini. Pada pelaksaan PkM sebelumnya kami sudah menyarankan perubahan kurikulum yang berupa penambahan jam pelajaran matematika dan IPA dalam satu minggu, memberikan  sumbangan infocus, powerpoint dan buku-buku, pelatihan matematika kepada para pengajar mata pelajaran matematika. Tetapi untuk pelaksanaan PkM tahun akademik 2020/2021 karena adanya pandemi covid 19 maka pelaksanaan kami dilakukan secara luring dan daring. Materinya untuk kurikulum berupa contoh kurikulum dari pesantren lain yang kami anggap lebih berhasil, pencerahan untuk para murid tentang pendidikan tinggi oleh mahasiswa kami dari Teknik Perminyakan yang alumni dari pondok pesantren lain dan sumbangan buku Rangkuman IPA untuk SLTP kelas 7-9. Kesimpulannya kami telah melaksanakan PkM tahun akademik 2002/2021 ini meskipun dengan cara yang sederhana.
