Abstract

Religion has been linked to mental health over the years, but its connection to persecutory ideation remains unclear. In this study, Nassarawa State University students' persecutory ideation is examined in relation to religious characteristics as predictors. A cross-sectional survey design was used in the study. In the study, a sample of 162 individuals was chosen at random from the student body. Both the independent and dependent variables were measured with three standardized tools. The use of multiple regression analysis was used to formulate and test two hypotheses. However, the researchers discovered that students' thoughts of being persecuted were jointly and significantly predicted by both hell anxiety and demonic conflict (F = 4.598, p=0.013, R2 = 0.105, r=0.325). Individually, that demonic struggle had significant contributions to the prediction of persecutory ideation. (R2= 0.342, t=2.844; P < 0.05). Hell, anxiety did not significantly predict persecutory ideation. (R2= -0.043, t=-0.360; P > 0.05). These findings recommended that religious authorities consider. minimizing satanic and hell themes in their sermon and focusing on angels, heaven, forgiveness, and other positive concepts that promote a favorable perspective of God, thereby improving the mental health of its congregation. Additionally, psycho-spiritual therapy on the guidance of one's life by good supernatural beings like angels may assist in lessening religiously insured persecutory thinking

Abstract

This research aims to assess the influence of product innovation on sales performance at CV. Dynamics of Cirebon Works. The study proposes two variables: product innovation as an independent variable and the number of sales as a dependent variable. Product innovation is defined as the process or outcome of enhancing the utility of an existing product and adding more meaningful value. Some sources also suggest that product innovation involves updating various products to provide greater benefits to consumers. The research methodology employed descriptive survey methods, utilizing interviews and questionnaires distributed to employees at CV. Dynamics of Cirebon Works for sampling. Hypothesis testing was conducted to establish the connection between product innovation and sales using the product-moment correlation, t-test formulas, determination coefficients, and simple regression analysis. The findings indicate a positive impact of product innovation, as evidenced by the strong agreement of 39.02%, agreement of 12.19%, hesitation of 9.75%, disagreement of 19.5%, and strongly disagreeing at 2.43%. Additionally, sales data processing reveals a positive trend, with a strong agreement of 79.4%, hesitation at 14.70%, and disagreement at 11.76%. Statistical analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.697, indicating a robust correlation. The t-test resulted in a t-value of 4.655 with degrees of freedom (df) of 32 (34 – 2), and a critical t-value (t-table) of 3.942 at a significance level of 5%. Given that thitung>ttable (4.655>3.942), the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This signifies a positive influence between product innovation and the number of sales. Consequently, the study concludes that product innovation significantly contributes to increased sales at CV. Dynamics of Cirebon Works.

Abstract

The ease of investment resulted in soaring number of millennial investors in Indonesia. Most investors in Indonesia are a beginner and do not know how to invest properly. Ignorance of investment encourages investors to find information and looking for role model then commonly leads to herding behaviour. This habit contradicts with traditional finance theory where investors supposed to invest rationally and avoid risk. This study will further explore the relationship between trustworthiness of financial influencers and financial literacy on herding behaviours with risk perception as mediating variables in millennial investors in Indonesia. Based on path analysis resulting the variable significantly influence each other directly or indirectly through mediating variable. Direct effect of trustworthiness financial influencer positively related with the herding behaviour, but the financial literacy negatively related with the herding behaviour. Indirectly Financial literacy level increased to increase risk perception and trustworthiness financial influencer vice versa. The decrease of risk perception leads millennial investor to herd and the increase of risk perception make investor more careful to make investment. There are still 33% of other factors influenced outside this study, for example gender, age, income, occupation and many other. Prior study has not examined the impact of a millennial follower’s trust on influencers to herding behaviours using risk perception as a mediating variable.

Abstract

The Walanae Watershed (DAS) is one of the Walanae – Cenranae Sub Watersheds in several districts, including Wajo, Soppeng, Bone, and Maros regencies. The river flow in the Walanae watershed flows from south to north and empties into Lake Tempe, Wajo Regency. The condition of Lake Tempe, which continues to experience silting due to erosion and sedimentation, is still happening. This siltation resulted in sediment discharges reaching 519,000 m3/year. This siltation can cause a narrowing of the lake area and flooding around Lake Tempe. The purpose of this study is to model erosion control in the Walanae watershed to reduce the level of siltation that occurs in Lake Tempe. Analysis of the erosion rate of the Walanae watershed using the USLE method. The analysis results show that the erosion rate that occurred in 2000 was 187.52 Tons / Ha / Yr, while in 2022, it was 253.336 Tons / Ha / Yr. Scenarios based on land conservation actions can reduce the erosion rate by 149,034 tons/ha / Year. The scenario was carried out by considering slope classes and land cover in the Walanae watershed.  In flat to gentle slope conditions, ground cover crops and livestock grazing are needed; in rice fields and dryland agriculture, rural and annuals and mulch reinforcement are needed. Conservation measures are needed in steep to very steep slope classes, such as bench terraces and plant cover crops for agricultural land cover. As for forest areas, permanent vegetation or agroforestry is needed.
