Abstract

This research aims to assess the influence of product innovation on sales performance at CV. Dynamics of Cirebon Works. The study proposes two variables: product innovation as an independent variable and the number of sales as a dependent variable. Product innovation is defined as the process or outcome of enhancing the utility of an existing product and adding more meaningful value. Some sources also suggest that product innovation involves updating various products to provide greater benefits to consumers. The research methodology employed descriptive survey methods, utilizing interviews and questionnaires distributed to employees at CV. Dynamics of Cirebon Works for sampling. Hypothesis testing was conducted to establish the connection between product innovation and sales using the product-moment correlation, t-test formulas, determination coefficients, and simple regression analysis. The findings indicate a positive impact of product innovation, as evidenced by the strong agreement of 39.02%, agreement of 12.19%, hesitation of 9.75%, disagreement of 19.5%, and strongly disagreeing at 2.43%. Additionally, sales data processing reveals a positive trend, with a strong agreement of 79.4%, hesitation at 14.70%, and disagreement at 11.76%. Statistical analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.697, indicating a robust correlation. The t-test resulted in a t-value of 4.655 with degrees of freedom (df) of 32 (34 – 2), and a critical t-value (t-table) of 3.942 at a significance level of 5%. Given that thitung>ttable (4.655>3.942), the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This signifies a positive influence between product innovation and the number of sales. Consequently, the study concludes that product innovation significantly contributes to increased sales at CV. Dynamics of Cirebon Works.

Abstract

Environmental justice from the perspective of public participation in the development of natural resources is a national program where the government is starting to switch from fossil energy to green energy, which means that in the future the government will no longer hope for energy such as coal, oil and gas, etc. This is a very strategic step taken by the government. Centralized policies are the antithesis of the increasing pressure to decentralize regional government, including regarding the management of natural resources (SDA) in the mining and oil and gas sectors, To ensure that this program runs well, of course the community is involved in monitoring it. Community participation in sustainable development is indeed weak, including in terms of policy making, even though the laws and regulations also stipulate that the community has rights as explained in the Aarhus Convention, where parties have an obligation to guarantee the rights of access to information, community participation in decision making, and access to justice in environmental matters in accordance with the provisions of the convention. Then in Law No. 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management, it is intended, among other things, 1) to provide information to the government, 2) to increase the public's willingness to accept government decisions. 3) Helps with legal protection. and 4) Democratize decision making. From the above basis, it further strengthens the community so that it can participate actively in the development of natural resources in this country.

Abstract

Developing speaking skills in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) is a persistent challenge in many classrooms due to traditional instruction methods that often lack real-world engagement and student-centered learning. Recent approaches such as Project-Based Learning (PBL) offer promising alternatives by encouraging communicative, collaborative, and contextualized language use. This study investigates the effectiveness of PBL in improving the speaking skills of EFL students, focusing on fluency, pronunciation, accuracy, and interaction. It also explores student perceptions and the pedagogical implications of integrating PBL into language instruction. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group, the study was conducted on two intact classes of Indonesian senior high school students. The experimental group underwent a four-week PBL intervention, while the control group received traditional instruction. Data were collected through speaking assessments, classroom observations, and student interviews, and analyzed using t-tests and thematic analysis. Findings revealed a significant improvement in the experimental group’s speaking performance, with a mean gain of 15.5 points and a large effect size (Cohen’s d = 0.85). Qualitative data indicated enhanced confidence, engagement, and motivation among students involved in PBL tasks. The integration of digital tools further supported learning and speaking practice. PBL is an effective strategy to improve EFL learners’ speaking proficiency by fostering meaningful communication, collaborative problem-solving, and learner autonomy. This approach holds promise for broader implementation in diverse EFL contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of social media on public opinion formation in the post-truth era, characterized by the spread of biased or inaccurate information. Social media platforms, while facilitating information dissemination, often contribute to the creation of echo chambers and filter bubbles, shaping political perceptions and influencing public discourse. Through a qualitative approach, this research investigates how misinformation and disinformation campaigns leverage social media to manipulate public opinion and the role of education and policy regulation in counteracting these effects. The findings provide insights into regulatory frameworks and digital literacy strategies needed to mitigate the adverse effects of social media on political opinion.

Abstract

Global dependence on fossil energy faces serious challenges in the era of energy transition, marked by geopolitical crises such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, oil price volatility and global decarbonization pressures. Indonesia, as a developing country with fossil energy reserves and ambitious targets for the transition to renewable energy, is in a strategic but complex position. Energy security is now a national issue as well as part of international geopolitical strategy. This research aims to analyze Indonesia's strategy in creating energy security amid global dynamics, as well as evaluate the geopolitical implications of the national energy transition policy. This research uses a qualitative approach with a policy study method and analysis of official documents such as Presidential Regulation No. 112 of 2022, the National Energy General Plan (RUEN), as well as IEA and IRENA reports. A geopolitical analysis framework approach was also used to assess Indonesia's position in the global energy supply chain. The results show that Indonesia is developing a dual-track strategy: strengthening domestic energy infrastructure based on renewable energy and expanding energy diplomacy with strategic partners such as China, Japan and the Gulf countries. However, major challenges still exist in the form of investment imbalances, coal dependence, and local political resistance to energy transition projects. Therefore, Indonesia's energy security strategy in the transition era requires synergy between national policies and global geopolitics in an adaptive and collaborative manner.

Abstract

In March 2025, Indonesia witnessed nationwide student-led protests against fiscal austerity measures, including a VAT hike and military reforms. These demonstrations, organized under the #IndonesiaGelap movement, reflected deepening public discontent over economic inequality and democratic backsliding. This study examines the root causes of the protests, maps public sentiment through digital and ethnographic data, and assesses their implications for Indonesia’s governance framework. A qualitative approach combining social media analysis (2,000 posts) and semi-structured interviews with 15 protest organizers was employed, using thematic decomposition and sentiment analysis. The protests were driven by the VAT increase’s regressive impact (cited by 78% of participants) and amendments to the TNI Law, which enabled military encroachment into civilian roles (62% of social media criticism). Sentiment analysis revealed 65% negative discourse, emphasizing terms such as “oppressive” and “unfair,” while 22% expressed solidarity with the protesters. Demands focused on tax justice, military depoliticization, and agrarian reforms, though government responses prioritized fiscal stability over equity. The movement’s digital strategies, including encrypted apps and viral anthems, bridged urban-rural divides but faced algorithmic censorship. In conclusion, the 2025 protests underscore systemic tensions between fiscal reforms and democratic accountability, highlighting the need for policies that address youth disillusionment and rural marginalization.
