Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan perangkat perkuliahan mata kuliah Mikrobiologi Terapan berbasis masalah terintegrasi softskill. Produk akhir dari penelitian pengembangan ini berupa: (1) Silabus; (2) Rencana Pelaksanaan Perkuliahan (RPP); (3) Kontrak Perkuliahan (KK); dan (4) Perangkat penilaian softskill pada matakuliah Mikrobiologi Terapan. Subjek penelitian adalah dua orang ahli materi mikrobiologi, dua orang ahli pembelajaran, dua orang ahli media pembelajaran, dua orang ahli penilaian, dan dua kelas atau 34 orang untuk uji coba pelaksanaan RPP pada mahasiswa Prodi Magister Pendidikan Biologi semester III, yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposif sampling. Perangkat yang dihasilkan melalui tahap-tahap pengembangan mengacu pada pengembangan Thiagarajan, yaitu model 4-D yang terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap rancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop) dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Data dikumpulkan dengan tes dan angket, lalu dianalisis dengan teknik prosentase. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa: validasi Silabus rata-rata 88,85% (kategori layak), validasi RPP rata-rata 84,65% (kategori layak); validasi KK rata-rata 91,25%  (kategori sangat layak); dan validasi perangkat penilaian berbasis softskill rata-rata 85,45% (kategori layak) untuk diterapkan pada mahasiswa Prodi Magister Pendidikan Biologi pada matakuliah Mikrobiologi Terapan.  Kata Kunci: Silabus, Perangkat Penilaian, Softskill,  Mikrobiologi Terapan, Berbasis Masalah.

Abstract

Abstract-Mount Merapi since 1006 until now still erupting actively. Every three years erupting hot clouds and lava heat (Drajat et al., 1994; Sukandarrumidi & Sudibyakto , 1994). Location of Mount Merapi in Yogyakarta with a climate transition from wet to dry (West Java - East Java). Mountain with physical environment, chemical, and biotic, different than other volcanoes in Indonesia (Backer & Bakhuizen van den Brink, 1968; Whitten et al., 1996). Inventarization the species of plants is very important to do, especially as the floristic composition of the vegetation resources Araceae. The purpose of this study to identify the types of plants of Araceae on certain limits in Nature Reserve Plawangan-Turgo, South slope of Mount Merapi. The study was conducted by the survey method in the southern slopes of Mount Merapi at an altitude of 900-1.275 m.dpl. Collection of plants of Araceae made a herbarium. Sample identified in Plant Taxonomy laboratories, Biology UGM. Identification is based on morphological characteristics using identification books, revision, flora, and atlases to species level. There are 10 types Araceae, which are grouped in 7 Genus, namely : Aglaonema simplex BI., Alocasia heterophylla Merr., Arisaema filiforme BI., Colocasia antiquorum Schott , Colocasia gigantea (BI) Hook.f., Rhaphidophora montana (BI) Schott, Schismatoglottis rupestris Zoll., Scindapsus hederaceus (Z&M)Miq., Scindapsus perakensis Hook.f., Scindapsus sp. Commonly, Araceae have habitus vines with or without the rhizome. This is because habitat conditions are shaded canopy of large trees that routine 3-5 years exposed as a result of the burning hot clouds of Mount Merapi. Keywords : Araceae , nature reserve Plawangan – Turgo.

Abstract

Informasi dan diskusi pengampu mata kuliah taksonomi menyatakan adanya kecenderungan mahasiswa belum siap mengikuti perkuliahan, mahasiswa mengandalkan informasi yang diberikan dari pengampu serta kurangnya sumber belajar yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa, serta sebagian besar mahasiswa menyatakan materi dalam Taksonomi Tumbuhan  terlalu banyak.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pemahaman serta kegiatan yang dapat dimunculkan mahasiswa pada perkuliahan taksonomi tumbuhan melalui community learning. Metode penelitian menggunakan pre eksperimen dengan desain one shot case study. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa rombel 1 mata kuliah Taksonomi Tumbuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertama,  kesiapan  mahasiswa mahasiswa dalam mengikuti perkuliahan,  hal ini dibuktikan persiapan  (sumber belajar, media atau hal-hal lain yang diperlukan) dalam mengikuti perkuliahan. Kedua, pada kagiatan perkuliahan muncul kegiatan identifikasi, investigasi, verifikasi dan validasi. Ketiga, mahasiswa memahami materi perkuliahan.  Kata kunci: Community learning, Taksonomi Tumbuhan

Abstract

Indonesian Government Regulation Number 74 Year 2008 Article 3 describes that teachers have one of the four competencies covering pedagogical skills in evaluating student learning outcomes. The aim of research is to determine the ability of Biology teachers in the creating HOT question in SMA Negeri 1  Wonosari Klaten. The type of research is descriptive qualitative and  data collection techniques which is collected by documentary studies in daily tests and interviews with Biology teacher in SMA Negeri 1 Wonosari Klaten.The data collected from the ability of Biology teacher's to create HOT questions in odd semester of academic year 2014/2015 SMA Negeri 1 Wonosari Klaten, it is analyzed using descriptive statistics. The result showed that the ability of teachers in creating questions HOT 21.2% is about C4 (15.2%), C5 (3.0%), C6 (3.0%) and about LOT 78.8% namely C1 (31.1%), C2 (29.8%), C3 (17.9%). Keywords: ability of teachers, HOT, taxonomy Bloom

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to 1) know the characteristics of virtual laboratory learning media in the material of human coordination system on the basis of discovery learning; and 2) know the feasibility of virtual laboratory learning media on human coordination system material on the basis of discovery learning.The research was using a 4-D Model adapted from Thiagarajan (1974), covering the stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate, then modified into 3-D without the disseminate stage. The product feasibility assessment was carried out by media expert validators, material experts, construction experts, teacher practitioners, and students of class XI MIPA SMA N 7 Surakarta in limited trials consisting of 20 students taken from XI MIPA 1,3,4,5, and 6 each of 4 students and field trials of class XI MIPA 2 were 34 studentsthrough filling out questionnaires with a 1-4 Likert scale in the form of a checklist. Data analysis techniques in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data. Quantitative analysis is derived from the media feasibility questionnaire score which results in a percentage score then converted into eligibility assessment criteria. Qualitative analysis comes from suggestions and comments as reference for product improvement.This study concludes that: 1) the characteristics of virtual laboratories in the form of applications developed using Adobe Animate 2017 software contain materials maps, practicum activities, and evaluations compiled on the basis of discovery learning models and worked on LKPD; 2) the feasibility of a virtual laboratory that is assessed by validators, practitioners and students states that the media product developed has a very high level of validity, so it is feasible.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua bulan yaitu pada bulan April sampai dengan Mei 2016. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendugaan rekruitmen dan tingkat eksploitasi ikan bilih di danau Singkarak Sumatera Barat sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai data untuk acuan dasar dalam pengelolaan dalam bidang perikanan di danau Singkarak Sumatera Barat. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan hasil tangkapan nelayan di tiga stasiun yaitu Ombilin, Sumpur, dan Sumani. Pengelolahan data menggunakan program softwer FISAT II. Hasil analisa menunjukkan persentase rekruitmen yang paling tinggi pada ikan bilih terjadi pada bulan Mei sebesar 20.10% dan bulan Juni sebesar 22. 76%. Mortalitas alami sebesar 4,11 sedangkan mortalitas penangkapan sebesar 4,86 yang artinya ada gejala eksploitasi yang berlebih terhadap ikan bilih di danau Singakarak. Tingkat eksploitasi ikan bilih di Danau Singkarak mencapai 0.54, yang artinya tingkat  laju eksploitasi ikan bilih di danau Singakarak Sumatera Barat berada pada kondisi padat tangkap (optimum) akan tetapi potensi untuk terjadinya kondisi tangkapan yang berlebih atau overfishing sangat tinggi terutama beberapa tahun mendatang.

Abstract

The purposes of the research were to know the influence of learning between studentstaught using a blended learning model compared to students taught by face to face learning modelof Student’s Achievement in computer of data analysis courses of academic year 2016/2017. This research is a quantitative research of quasi experimental implemented in computer laboratory of FKIP UMS. The study population was all students of the even semester ofbiology education departement of FKIP UMS who take courses computer of data analysis of academic year 2016/2017. The sample of this study was taken 2 classes from 5 classes by choosing cluster random sampling and  obtained class G and J with the number of 40 students. Data collection techniques using cognitive tests. The analysis technique used is Kruskal-Wallis H test with softwareSPSS version 20.Research resultswere students who received treatment with the learning model Blended Learning has average cognitive learning outcomes of 91.33 greater than the average of cognitive learning achievement with learning models face to face of 79,73. It can be concluded that the influence of using blended learning and face to face learning modelof student’s achievement in computer of data analysis courses.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) examine the influence of inquiry-based learning on product cognitive learning outcomes. 2) examine the influence of inquiry-based learning on the cognitive learning outcomes of the process. 3) examine the influence of inquiry-based learning on the critical thinking skills of high school students. The model used was quasi experiment with counter balance design, and the nonequivalent control group design. The independent variables of inquiry-based learning, while the dependent variable is the result of cognitive learning of the product, the cognitive learning outcome of the process, and the critical thinking ability. The research population of students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Tabuk Banjar District consists of three classes, namely class XI IPA-1 XI IPA-2 and XI IPA-3. The samples of the significance test to the learning outcomes of treatment I were class XI IPA-2 and XI IPA-3, and control class XI IPA-1. Class II treatment is class XI IPA-1 and XI IPA-2, while control class is class XI IPA-3. Determination of treatment class with purposive sampling technique. The sample of significance test on the critical thinking thinking ability of class is XI IPA-2 and XI IPA-3, while control is class XI IPA-1. The study was conducted three months (October-December 2016). The instrument of cognitive product and cognitive measuring processes consists of multiple choice test items, and for measuring critical thinking skills with essay tests. The cognitive learning outcomes are scored 1 if true and 0 if false, whereas critical thinking skills use rubric essay tests. Test of significance using anacova with SAS release 9.1.3. The results obtained 1) Inquiry-based learning has an effect on the product cognitive learning outcomes (F-ratio = 42.95, P = 0.001 and F-ratio 37.84; P = 0.001). 2) also affects the cognitive learning outcomes of the process (F-ratio = 94.84; P = 0.001 and F-ratio 54.56; P = 0.001); and 3) has no effect on applicability (F-ratio = 1.03 , P = 0.36), but has an effect on the ability to analyze (F-ratio = 39.75, P = 0.001, F-ratio 2.83.56; P = 0.05; F-ratio 11.89; P = 0.001), and the ability to evaluate (F-ratio = 2.70; P = 0.05).

Abstract

The role ofmeninfamily planningis veryimportantbecausethe husbandis usuallymoredominantinpolicy makerskeluarga.Daunguava containsactive substancessuch asalkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, essential oils, avikullarin, acidandbeta-sitosterololeanolikthat areantifertilitas.Alkaloids can affect the secretion of reproductive hormones necessary for the process of spermatogenesis, essential oils work on the process of spermatogenesis but not in sperm transport, tannins can agglomerate resulting in lower sperm motility and viability of sperm (Wien.W. & Dian S. 1997).The purpose of this study was to identify a range of doses dekok red guava leaves on rat sperm quality.The kind of this research is true research.Parameter experiments used were morphology (abnormality) and mortality of spermatozoa. The population in this study is a white male rats. The samples used were 12 heads, divided into 4 treatments each consisting of 3 replicates, using completely randomized design (CRD) , a data analysis technique with one factor ANOVA and LSD continued 1 %.The results showed no significant effect of several doses dekok red guava leaves against a white rat sperm quality. Effective doses decrease sperm quality is 7 g/hr. Abstract

ABSTRAK Umumnya orang Indonesia menjadikan beras sebagai sumber utama kalori, ini diprediksi pola makan kurang ideal yang akan menimbulkan resiko pada kesehatan dan ketahanan pangan. Pengolahan serealia merupakan salah satu langkah strategis dalam menyediakan bahan pangan pendukung program diversifikasi pangan. Serealia seperti sorghum, jewawut dan ketan hitam merupakan komoditi potensial, bukan saja sebagai sumber karbohidrat tetapi juga sebagai sumber antioksidan, senyawa bioaktif dan serat yang penting bagi kesehatan. Pengaruh penyosohan pada komoditi serealia sorghum, jewawut dan ketan hitam memperoleh produk yang disukai masyarakat Indonesia. Selain itu diharapkan akan didapatkan data dan informasi ilmiah mengenai khasiat serealia sumber karbohidrat berupa antioksidan dan imunomodulatornya.Serealia sebelum disosoh menunjukkan bahwa ketan hitam memiliki kadar air tertinggi, jewawut memiliki kadar abu, protein dan lemak tertinggi sedangkan karbohidrat tertinggi didapat pada sorghum. Kadar total fenolik dan antioksidan tertinggi juga ditunjukkan oleh ketan hitam dengan waktu sosoh 5 detik sebesar 20,46 mg TAE/gr biji dan 35,96 mg vitamin C eq/gr biji. Hasil uji fenolik total dan aktivitas antioksidan menunjukkan bahwa sorghum, jewawut dan ketan hitam memiliki senyawa fenolik yang dapat berperan sebagai antioksidan. Semakin lama waktu penyosohan, semakin rendah kandungan fenolik total serealia. Senyawa fenolik serealia berkorelasi positif dengan aktivitas antioksidan. Waktu sosoh terpilih berdasarkan kandungan fenolik total dan aktivitas antioksidan pada sorghum adalah 20 dan 100 detik, jewawut 100 dan 300 detik, serta ketan hitam 5 dan 15 detik waktu sosoh. Sorghum, jewawut dan ketan hitam adalah komoditi serealia yang potensial karena memiliki nilai nutrisi dan berbagai manfaat kesehatan dengan adanya senyawa fenolik yang dapat berperan sebagai antioksidan serta memiliki aktivitas immunomodulator sebagai penunjang sistem imunitas tubuh. Kata kunci : antioksidan, imunomodulator, serealia, bukan beras
