Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar kognitif pembelajaran tematik kelas X.2 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Sebesar 39,5% peserta didik yang telah mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Hal tersebut disebabkan karena kurangnya variasi dalam penggunaan model serta pendekatan yang tidak sesuai. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Materi Keanekaragaman Hayati Melalui Melalui Model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching Kelas X Semester 1  SMAN 12 Pekanbaru Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024” Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas X.2 SMAN 12 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah teknik tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching pada materi Keanekaragaman hayati dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari adanya peningkatan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan yaitu minimal 75%. Pada siklus I  persentase ketuntasan peserta didik yaitu 43,75%. Siklus II mengalami peningkatan yaitu 75%, dan siklus III yaitu 90,62%. Disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning dengan pendekatan culturally responsif teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada Materi Keanekargaman Hayati kelas X SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Observation skills in biology can be assessed through pictorial representation, which involves asking students to create drawings and add annotations to explain the observed objects. This technique provides insight into students' perceptions and conceptual understanding of biological objects. This study aims to identify students' conceptual changes regarding leaf and flower structures based on a pictorial representation test. This descriptive research involved 35 second-semester students from the Biology Education Program at the Indonesia University of Education, who enrolled in the Plant Morphology course in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The pictorial representation test was conducted for 15 minutes before and after the lectures (pre-test and post-test) using the inquiry learning model, focusing specifically on leaf and flower structure topics. The test results were evaluated by two lecturers using a mutually agreed-upon scoring guide. The data were analyzed descriptively using a conceptual change scheme from pre-test to post-test. The results showed that there were four patterns of conceptual structure changes identified from pictorial representation of leaf and flower morphology, namely: construction, static, revision, and complementation, while the disorientation pattern was only found in the pictorial representation of flower morphology. Almost half of the students (48.6%) experienced changes in conceptual structure with construction patterns in leaf and flower morphology content. The most dominant final category of concept mastery is good, which is 51.4% and 48.6%, respectively in leaf and flower morphology. In flower morphology, there was a greater increase in the very good category compared to leaf morphology, with a ratio of 25.7% and 14.3%. Apart from a number of students whose concept mastery did not change significantly (static) and one case of disorientation on the concept of flower morphology. Overall, the conceptual change scheme based on pictorial representation results can help to analyze the extent to which learning can improve concept mastery of leaf and flower morphology.

Abstract

A school go-green program is really needed to support the school's efforts to become a green school and encourage environmentally friendly behavior for students' comfortable learning. The aim of this research is to describe the Go-Green program and the benefits obtained by MTs Muhammadiyah 10 Wedi students and the surrounding community. The method in this research is a qualitative descriptive analysis method. The results of implementing the Go-Green program by using gallons of drinking water to make various kinds of pots at MTs Muhammadiyah 10 Wedi and planting several plants in the pots. Students can use used goods around them. Cohesion and cooperation can also be improved with this program. There are many benefits that can be obtained from the Go-Green program, such as increasing environmental awareness, fostering creativity, and reducing plastic waste.

Abstract

This literature study aims to find out and analyze the role of various learning media in increasing student learning motivation towards environmental awareness. This study uses a literature review method, namely by collecting research articles found in Pubmed and Google Scholar from 2019-2024 using the keywords "the influence of learning media on increasing student motivation towards environmental awareness". Based on the results of the literature review, it can be concluded that learning media that can increase students' learning motivation are animated video media based on environmental issues, animated video media based on green schools, digital infographic media, virtual reality media, powtoon media, and edpuzzle media.

Abstract

Alcohol and Ether are materials that have the characteristics of abstract chemical concepts and many concepts that must be understood by students as well as the lack of students' ability to relate them to everyday life. The development of 3D page flip digital teaching materials based on discovery learning is an effective learning instrument to improve students' critical thinking skills and can increase students' independence to better recognize chemistry in everyday life. This study aims to develop 3D page flip digital teaching materials based on discovery learning on alcohol and ether materials. 3D page flip professional is an application used to create E-Books, E-Magazines, E-Papers and others. 3D page flip professional software can add videos, images, audio, hyperlinks and multimedia objects. The use of professional 3D page flip in the form of a digital book version is able to assume readers on a Personal Computer (PC) or other gadget devices such as Android. The type of research used is development research using the research and development method by adopting the Four-D development model to measure students' critical thinking abilities. The results of the development of 3D page flip digital teaching materials obtained a feasibility value from material experts with an average value of 4.400 on a scale of 5, the feasibility value from media experts had an average value of 4.225 on a scale of 5 and was tested on class XI students at SMA Batik 1 Surakarta who had an average value in the control class of 63.60 and in the experimental class of 77.10. This shows that the 3D page flip digital teaching materials based on discovery learning that were developed are suitable for implementation in schools

Abstract

Brassica chinensis L is a vegetable plant that grows well in moist media. This media needs to be supported by place that can maintain humidity. One alternative is a pot made from banana stem waste. Brassica or caisim grown in banana stem pots requires adequate nutrition. The aim of this research was to determine the growth response of caisim and determine the best dose of inorganic NPK fertilizer and organic Guano fertilizer for the growth of caisim in potted banana stems. This research used RAKL consisting of 2 treatments of NPK and Guano fertilizer types with different dosage levels carried out in a total of 3 repetitions. Caisim plants are planted on banana stem planting media and consist of K as a control without fertilizer, NPK fertilizer (N1: 6.25 grams/pot; N2: 12.5 grams/pot; N3 25.0 grams/pot) and fertilizer. Guano (G1 6.25 grams/pot; G2 12.5 grams/pot; G2: 25.0 grams/pot). The response of caisim mustard plants to different doses of NPK fertilizer and Guano fertilizer was shown in the vegetative growth phase which included plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight and dry weight. The research results showed that Caisim using banana stem pots showed varying growth at various doses of both organic Guano and inorganic NPK fertilizers. The conclusion of this study is that caisim growth respond spositively to the administration of various doses of Guano fertilizer and NPK. Caism growth on Guano fertilizer 25.0 g showed the best results among all the doses of fertilizer given.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bahan ajar untuk siswa kelas X SMK dengan materi Proyek IPAS. Bahan ajar ini didesain menarik dengan memperhatikan warna dan penulisan agar bertujuan untuk menciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Model Borg & Gall yang memiliki 6 tahap yakni: (1) Penelitian pendahuluan dan pengumpulan informasi, (2) perencanaan, (3) mengembangkan produk awal, (4) uji coba lapangan awal, (5) revisi terhadap produk utama, (6) uji lapangan utama, (7) revisi produk uji coba lapangan, (8) uji lapangan operasional, (9) revisi terhadap produk akhir, (10) mendimensikan dan mengimplementasikan produk. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan validasi ahli materi, validasi ahli media dan validasi ahli desain. Penelitian ini juga didukung dari validasi guru kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa di kelas X SMK. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian: (1) e-modul berbasis PjBL-STEM ini telah memenuhi kriteria valid dan layak digunakan setelah diadakan validasi dan uji coba, (2) Pada ahli media, dengan hasil menunjukkan sebesar 86% yang berarti valid, ini termasuk dalam kriteria sangat layak, (3) Pada ahli desain, dengan hasil menunjukkan sebesar 94% yang berarti valid, ini termasuk dalam kriteria sangat layak, (4) Pada ahli materi, dengan hasil menunjukkan sebesar 97% yang berarti vali, ini termasuk dalam kriteria sangat layak, (5) Pada uji coba Perorangan, dengan hasil menunjukkan sebesar 91% yang berarti valid, (6) Pada uji coba kelompok kecil, dengan hasil menunjukkan sebesar 91% yang berarti valid, (7) Pada uji coba Lapangan, dengan hasil menunjukkan sebesar 90% yang berarti valid, dan (8) Pada uji coba teman sejawat, dengan hasil keterampilan menunjukkan sebesar 95% yang berarti valid. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk pengembangan yang berbentuk e-modul berbasis PjBL-STEM untuk meningkatkan berpikir kritis dan kreatif peserta didik layak digunakan pada kelas X SMK.

Abstract

Maggot, larva Black Soldier Fly (BSF) dengan nama latin Hermetia illucens, merupakan larva yang berperan dalam mendekomposisi limbah organik. Maggot memiliki sistem pencernaan unik dengan keberagaman mikroorganisme, termasuk Actinomycetes, bakteri penghasil senyawa bioaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengisolasi dan mengkarakterisasi Actinomycetes dari usus maggot BSF yang diperoleh dari PT Turrima Agro Mass. Isolasi dilakukan menggunakan media selektif agar-starch dengan teknik spread plate. Hasil isolasi menunjukkan isolat Actinomycetes dengan karakteristik warna miselium aerial putih, abu-abu, dan kemerahan. Karakterisasi biokimia mengungkap isolat bersifat Gram-positif dan negatif uji katalase, sesuai ciri khas Actinomycetes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 10 isolat memiliki kemampuan sebagai penghasil enzim selulolitik dengan indeks hidrolitik sebesar 0,5-2, 10 Isolat memiliki kemampuan sebagai penghasil enzim proteolitik dengan indeks hidrolitik sebesar 0,5-2,5 , dan 10 Isolat memiliki kemampuan menghasilkan enzim amilolitik dengan indeks hidrolitik sebesar 0,5-1,5. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa bakteri yang berasal dari usus maggot BSF memiliki potensi sebagai penghasil enzim seperti amilase, protease, dan selulase yang berperan dalam dekomposisi bahan organik.

Abstract

Utilization of TOGA (Family Medicinal Plants) is one way that can anticipate and overcome family health problems. Family medicinal plants (TOGA) are used to anticipate or treat independently using existing medicinal plants. Family medicinal plants have many benefits so we carry out activities regarding the introduction and planting of family medicinal plants. The aim of this activity is to increase the knowledge of students at SMP Negeri 4 Satu Atap, Ngaringan, Grobogan in cultivation and using family medicinal plants as an effort to promote awareness of family health. The method used is to socialize the importance and benefits of TOGA to the school community, especially to students in class VII and class VIII, followed by cultivation TOGA in schools. The results of this activity show that students' knowledge has increased regarding the use of TOGA and their concern for family health has grown.

Abstract

Education in the global era must focus on developing 21st century competencies, with critical thinking skills being one of the most important and needing to be taught explicitly. To develop critical thinking skills, the role of educators is very important in designing appropriate learning scenarios in schools. This learning scenario includes learning tools that integrate the four pillars of education established by UNESCO, namely learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be. yourself (learning to be). Based on these four pillars, the Project Based Learning learning model is considered very suitable for developing students' critical thinking skills. This is because in this model, students who are at the center of learning are given problems in the form of projects and they are required to solve them independently. This critical thinking ability can be improved through the application of the Project Based Learning model in learning. This research is a literature review of related articles over a period of seven years (2017-2024). The conclusion of this research shows that implementing the Project Based Learning model can be an effective strategy for improving critical thinking skills in learning. From the research results, everything indicates that the use of the Project Based Learning model in learning can improve students' critical thinking abilities.
