Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of word of mouth, attractiveness and brand image on customer satisfaction at PT Leffindo Jaya Logistic in Batam City where each variable has problems such as the services provided are still not trusted and are not popular with customers. There are some people that are more trusting to Word of Mouth than official ads or promotion, there are some WoM that PT Leffindo Jaya Logistics do not show responsibilities and thus causing customer satisfaction of PT Leffindo Jaya Logistics to go down. Also the recommendation of families, friends, and business partners were considered more objectively and seriously by potential customers. So this type of research is quantitative research to test the relationship between hypothesized variables. This research has a population with a total of 100 customers (58 men and 42 women) who were given questionnaires. This research was conducted at Sagulung District, Tembesi Village, Batam City. This research uses a purposive sampling method. The results of this research show that the variables word of mouth, attractiveness and brand image are significantly positive on customer satisfaction. With this research conducted, researcher hope this will help that small-middle sized logistics services company to know what is lacking from their services so they can improve their service from local to international, and pay more attention to every little details to keeps improving customer satisfaction especially PT Leffindo Jaya Logistics, as a few dissatisfaction could make their potential customers to turn away and seeks alternatives choice.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the development of vocational learning and training methods at the Bandung Vocational and Productivity Training Center, Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia. The research method used is a descriptive analysis approach. Where data and information collection were carried out using observation techniques, interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which lasted for two hours structural and functional officials (Instructors) at the Bandung Vocational and Productivity Training Center. The results of the research show that the development of learning and training methods went well and was very satisfactory through several stages, namely, carried out by using training needs analysis through TNA (Training Need Analysis) which was obtained from industry needs, then carried out Vocational Training Program Development Planning, Implementation of the Training Program, and finally, Training Evaluation is carried out both through Written Tests and Practical Tests. From the results of this research, it is hoped that in the future facilities and infrastructure can be improved to support the implementation of vocational training that produces superior and competitive human resources.

Abstract

This contribution is given without any direct return to the donor and the tax funds are used to support community welfare as much as possible. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of taxpayer attitudes and understanding of taxation on tax compliance mediated by the implementation of the electronic tax system at KPP Pratama South Batam. The population in this study was 400,034 individual taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama South Batam in 2022 and samples were taken using the Slovin formula, so that a sample of 100 people was obtained. The type of research applied in this research is quantitative. The data source in this research is primary data obtained directly based on respondents' answers from questionnaires published to research subjects. The data analysis techniques used are instrument testing (validity test and reliability test), descriptive analysis, inferential statistical test (Partial Least Square), model measurement test (convergent validity, discriminant validity, composite reliability and Cronbach alpha), structural model test (R-Square (R2), Q2 Predictive Relevance, Goodness Of Fit (GoF) Index, and parametric statistical tests and hypothesis testing). Hypothesis test results (direct influence) taxpayer attitudes have a significant influence on the application of the electronic tax system, understanding of taxation has a significant influence on the application of the electronic tax system, taxpayer attitudes have a significant influence on the application of the electronic tax system, understanding of taxation has a significant influence on the application of the electronic tax system,  attitude taxpayers have a significant influence on the application of the electronic tax system, understanding taxation has a significant influence on the application of the electronic tax system and the application of the electronic tax system has a significant influence on the application of the electronic tax system. significant to the existence of taxes. The results of hypothesis testing (indirect influence) of the application of the tax system can mediate taxpayer attitudes towards tax compliance and the significance is 0.003 and the application of the electronic tax system can mediate the understanding of taxation towards electronic tax compliance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to partially analyze the influence of  brand image, brand awareness, and brand trust  on purchasing decisions. The population in this study is  Samsung smartphone buyers  at Sinar Mas Seluller Shop Semarang City. The sample size was 96 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Primary data was collected using questionnaires, while secondary data used library techniques. Based on the results of the SPSS version 24 test, the results were obtained that the research instrument test showed all valid indicators and all reliable variables. Based on the F test, all independent variables simultaneously influence the purchase decision. Based on the results of the regression coefficient and t-test, it shows that  the brand image variable has a positive and significant influence on the purchase decision, the brand awareness  variable has a positive and significant effect on the purchase decision, and the brand trust variable has a positive and significant effect on  the purchase decision.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how the marketing strategies increase the number of tourist visits to the tourist attraction The Le Hu Garden, Deli Serdang Regency. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive methods and conducted interviews and data collection which was carried out by searching for information based on documents related to research and comparing data from observations made at The Le Hu Garden. From the results of research using Swot Analysis at The Le Hu Garden tourist attraction, the first is the strength of having a unique garden that is specially cared for and natural fertilizer which makes plants grow abundantly which other tourist attractions do not have, weakness Lack of Promotional activities carried out include the absence of cooperation with travel, opportunities Large land, can be used to add new attractions suitable for agrotourism such as growing hydroponic vegetables, raising livestock and fish cultivation, threats Competitor tourist attractions of the same type create more varied places.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to develop a culture-based tourism village in the Padang Genting Weaving Tourism Village. This research uses a data analysis method in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis, which analyzes data to analyze and interpret facts, symptoms and events that occur in the field, as well as natural observations whose main aim is to observe and also understand the Development of Culture-Based Tourism Villages. at the Padang Genting Weaving Tourism Village. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be stated that the Padang Genting Tourism Village has the opportunity to develop culture-based tourism products. The tourism product is in the form of a series of tourism activities that can be packaged into tour packages. The cultural-based tourism activity in Padang Genting is to provide traditional songket weaving experiences to visitors, both domestic and foreign tourists.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Village Fund Management on infrastructure development in Tanjung Putus Village, Pegajahan Distric, Serdang Bedagai Regency. This research uses a quantitative method. The 220 residents of the Desa Tanjung Putus community make up the study's population, and the sample size in this study was 69 people. Random sampling is used in the determination process (random sample). The data sources for this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Secondary data is obtained from data that has been documented. The analysis techniques used are simple linear regression analysis methods using the help of the SPSS version 22 program. The results of the research show that the Village Fund Management has a significant effect on infrastructure development in Tanjung Putus Village, Pegajahan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, with a value of t-count > t-table that is (2.720 > 1.99601) and a significance value of 0.008 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) R-square was 0.548, or 54.8%, while the remaining 45.2% was influenced by other variables not discussed in this research.

Abstract

This research focuses on the economic growth of a region, taking the case study of Makassar City during the period of 2018-2022. As the capital and gateway to Eastern Indonesia, Makassar exhibits significant economic growth surpassing the national and provincial averages. The dynamic economy is attributed to its strategic role as a central hub for economic activities since the recovery period. The study involves analyzing indicators of economic growth in Makassar City, exploring the impacts of the Priority Program Policy by the Makassar City Government outlined in Mayor Regulation No. 5 of 2021. This program serves not only as a strategic guide to addressing the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic but also as a foundation for enhancing community health resilience. The implications of this policy are expected to assist the Makassar community in adapting to the ever-changing situation and serve as a concrete step in regional economic recovery. With the full commitment of the local government to anticipate and respond to the Covid-19 pandemic, this research details the strategic efforts made in the health sector and economic development. The proactive measures and specific policies implemented by the Makassar City Government encourage sustainable economic growth, benefiting its residents and serving as inspiration for other regions facing similar challenges.

Abstract

Supply Chain Management has become a crucial element in optimizing production and distribution processes. By implementing this concept effectively, companies can achieve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and ultimately reduce production costs. This research aims to explore and analyze the application of Supply Chain Management as a strategy to reduce production costs in a specific industrial context. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that implementing supply chain management with a focus on cost reduction strategies, operational optimization and sustainable practices has a positive impact on company efficiency and sustainability. The adoption of technology such as inventory management software and transportation management systems successfully automates processes, reduces errors and simplifies supply chain operations. Lean strategies, such as reducing overproduction and lead times, also play a role in improving operational efficiency. Additionally, sustainable practices, including waste reduction and use of renewable energy sources, not only support environmental sustainability, but also result in long-term cost savings.

Abstract

Using the social strategy cone approach, this study examines how well MSMEs operating online cake shops perform in terms of understanding social media maturity. According to the analysis, the majority of businesses have been effective in identifying the preferences and inclinations of their target market, but they still struggle with social media monitoring and assessment. To detect shifting trends and client needs more quickly, enhanced assessment and monitoring tools are required. 15 MSMEs respondent had exceptional social media strategy maturity, compared to six good, two fair, and one poor, according to the data. There were notable distinctions in the evaluation results: the target audience's preferences and interests were best understood, while monitoring and evaluation received the lowest scores. The stages for improvement include active customer interaction, quick response to changes in the social media landscape, and review through medical analysis of social insights and reports
