Abstract

This writing aims to look at the perceptions of the community in Maluku, especially in Negeri Latuhalat, Ambon City and Negeri Suli in Central Maluku Regency, specifically identifying the impact of local wisdom of the community and knowing the perception of the community regarding the importance of preserving their country with local wisdom of the community in managing natural resources. has the potential to be developed as a tourist destination. The analytical method is an activity carried out continuously during the research period. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and FGD. The results obtained are local wisdom related to conservation, mutual cooperation or masohi work, sasi culture and tax payment or ngase in Suli State, Ambon City and Latuhalat State, Central Maluku, all of which are included in the "very good" criteria.

Abstract

Students require investment knowledge that will enable them to carry out investment activities. Many students also engage in illegal investments that are not registered with the Financial Services Authority, with the promise of large profits and without risk. Education about investment is obtained from courses such as financial management and investment management. Various aspects are studied in lectures related to investment ranging from returns, decision-making techniques, obstacles, to the risks that investors will face. The type of research employed in this study is quantitative research. The results of research and discussions related to the effect of investment knowledge, investment motivation, financial literacy, and capital market training on investment interest in the capital market in the millennial generation indicate that investment knowledge has a positive effect on investment interest. This implies that when individuals possess in-depth knowledge related to investment, their interest in investing also increases. This is due to the sense of security that is derived from the knowledge of the positive and negative consequences of a given action, which can encourage the individual to take that action. The results of the research indicate that investment motivation has a positive effect on investment interest.

Abstract

The pupose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of price and facilities on the choice of guests who stay. The sample of this study were 98 visitors who visited the Grand Mercure Maha Cipta Medan Angkasa Hotel in April-May 2024, sampling using the accidental sampling method, namely anyone who accidentally meets the researcher can be used as a sample, if it is deemed that the person who happened to be met is suitable as a data source. Data analysis uses Multiple Linear Regression tests, while data processing uses SPSS. The results showed that partially price had an effect on staying decision, facilities also had a positive and significant effect on staying decision, while simultaneously price and facilities had a positive and significant effect on staying decision.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to implement legal protection for consumers regarding food that has expired in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law Number 8 of 1999 as well as legal considerations regarding decision Number 61/PID.B/2018/PN.CBN. This research writing method uses normative research methods because it is based on statutory regulations and doctrine, by examining the existing legal regulations and their relationship to cases that have occurred previously.The results and conclusions from writing this research are that by distributing food that has expired, the producer concerned does not comply with the rules contained in the Consumer Protection Law so that supporting institutions such as BPOM are needed to follow up and supervise food distributed in the community so that it can controlling expired consumer products so that they do not continue to harm consumers.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of profitability, leverage, and liquidty on firm value with tax avoidance as a moderating variabel. Measurement of firm value is carried out using Price book Value (PBV). Meanwhile, profitability uses Return On Assets (ROA), leverage uses Debt Equity Ratio (DER), liquidity uses Current Ratio (CR), and tax avoidance uses Cash Effective Tax Ratio (CETR).  The population used in this study are construction companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017-2022. The sample used are 9 companies using the purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secodary data and the analyze method used is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) using SPSS 22. The result of this study obtained that profitability has positive and significant effect on firm value,  while leverage and liquidty have no effect on firm value. As moderating variabel, tax avoidance cannot moderate the effect of profitability, leverage, and liquidity on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of good corporate governance, proxied by managerial ownership, on firm value, proxied by Tobin's Q, and financial performance, proxied by ROA, as an intervening variable. The subject of this research is a state-owned enterprise (BUMN) company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2021 period. The sample for this study was selected using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach, resulting in a total of 71 samples of companies that met the specified criteria. The analytical technique employed in this study was path analysis, conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. The study yielded the following results:(1) There is no effect of good corporate governance on firm value in BUMN companies listed on the IDX; (2) There is no effect of good corporate governance on financial performance in BUMN companies listed on the IDX; (3) There is no effect of financial performance on firm value in BUMN companies listed on the IDX; (4) There is an influence of good corporate governance on firm value through financial performance in BUMN companies listed on the IDX.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the role of the Supervisor and the standard operating procedures for room cleaning in improving the performance of housekeeping department employees. This type of research is a type of qualitative research. In this study, data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews, research samples of supervisors at Grand Mercure Medan Hotel in the housekeeping department. The results of this study say that the role of supervisors and standard operating procedures (SOP) greatly affects employee performance so that employees can carry out SOP properly at work and with the role of supervisors and standard operating procedures can improve employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of price and location on purchasing decisions at Katis Perfume in Medan. The sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling. Based on the specified criteria, this research used a sample of 80 respondents. The research results show that partially the price variable has a significant effect on the purchasing decision variable, and the location variable has a significant effect on the purchasing decision variable. This means that the factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions for Katis Perfume products are because the price is affordable and the location is easy to reach. The variable price and location on consumer purchasing decisions at Katis Perfume is 61%, while the remaining 39% is influenced by other factors provided by other variables not analyzed in this research, for example product and promotion.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to ascertain and evaluate the impact of the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Operating Expenses on Operating Income (BOPO) on changes in profits of banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) over the period 2018-2022. This research employs a quantitative approach utilizing secondary data from annual financial reports and audited financial reports of conventional banks sourced from the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id). A purposive sampling technique was utilized to select a sample of 135 observations over a five-year research period. The data analysis employed a multiple linear regression analysis technique. The findings of this study indicate that the combined influence of liquidity ratio (LDR), return on equity (ROE), net interest margin (NIM), and cost-to-income ratio (BOPO) has a statistically significant effect on changes in profit. However, while liquidity ratio and return on equity have a significant effect on profit changes, net interest margin and cost-to-income ratio do not.

Abstract

Dots Greentea has experienced fluctuations in revenue due to the COVID-19 virus, intensified competition, and shortcomings in promotional efforts and product innovation. The objective of this research is to assess the effectiveness of online promotion through Instagram in promoting Dots Greentea MSMEs in the city of Karawang. This study adopts a qualitative research approach utilizing observational data, in-depth interviews, and documentation as primary data sources. The primary data, obtained from observations and interviews with relevant stakeholders, encompass questions concerning the activities and events related to Dots Greentea promotion in Karawang. The findings indicate that online promotion significantly influences the increase in Dots Greentea sales. When this business promotes through Instagram, the revenue or income of Dots Greentea increases from 20% to 40%.
