Abstract

This study aims to provide insight into asset utilization, company size, and loan quality significantly affecting the financial performance of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). In addition, it can show factors that can strengthen the stability and efficiency of banks which ultimately have an impact on the economy as a whole, especially the community massively. The novelty of this study is the addition of asset utilization variables that are included in the independent variables. The background of this research is driven by the increasing complexity of the banking sector, particularly in Indonesia, where the efficiency and stability of banks play a crucial role in overall economic health. With the rapid growth of the financial sector, especially in the context of banking, it becomes essential to evaluate how effectively these institutions utilize their assets and maintain loan quality in order to optimize financial performance. The research method used by the researcher was quantitative with secondary data sources obtained from 42 banking companies for a 5-year period (2020 - 2023). The data analysis technique used is panel data regression analysis. The results showed that NIITA, NICTA, OEOI, SIZE, and LOAN had a significant impact on financial performance (NIM), and only the CAP variable did not have a significant historical effect. The implications in the research are devoted to financial managers to determine the proper management of assets so that business goals can be obtained, especially in improving investor welfare. The focus of this research is to strengthen the cruciality of ownership structure and liquidity for investors in choosing the right investment opportunities in a banking company.

Abstract

The general public's understanding of taxation is critical. Taxation is one of the most important sources of state revenue for infrastructure development and social welfare. There are numerous reasons why citizens refuse to pay their taxes. Educating people on the need for paying taxes can help. This study takes the problem formulation, namely, what is the role of social media in optimizing awareness of paying taxes for Small to Medium Enterprises (SME's) or MSMEs, and while the goal is to discover what the role of education is in educating about optimizing awareness of paying taxes and knowing how social media plays a role in educating taxation for MSMEs to increase tax awareness. It is believed that this research would provide educational understanding. A qualitative technique is used in this investigation. Secondary data was obtained through interviews and direct observation of MSMEs, as well as indirect and literature studies through books, journals, DJP websites, and various other sources. Because the number of social media users increases year after year, tax education is performed through social media. As a result, if it is supported in the future, it will be quite effective. This will have a significant impact on the increase in tax awareness among MSMEs.

The results of the study indicate that workload and job satisfaction do not affect auditor performance and psychological well-being, while organizational support affects auditor performance and psychological well-being. And psychological well-being affects auditor performance. In addition, psychological well-being is proven to mediate the relationship between organizational support and auditor performance, but does not mediate the relationship between workload and job satisfaction with auditors. Abstract

Supervision aims to assist all management in carrying out their responsibilities effectively by carrying out analysis, assessment, recommendations and submitting reports on the activities being audited. Based on the Summary of Semester Audit Results (IHPS) I of 2023, 5,628 SPI weakness problems were revealed, including 1,695 (30%) problems of weaknesses in the accounting and reporting control system, 2,974 (53%) problems of weaknesses in the budget implementation control system, and 959 (17%) problems of weaknesses in the internal control structure. A total of 7,227 non-compliance problems that have a financial impact include non-compliance problems that can result in losses of 3,520 problems amounting to IDR1.73 trillion, potential losses of 671 of IDR381.11 billion, and revenue shortfalls of 1,015 problems amounting to IDR960.11 billion. The above phenomenon indicates that the internal supervision function in the public sector is not yet effective. Internal Supervision Performance is very instrumental for the implementation of regional government. The Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) does not have sufficient integrity and capability, the supervisory apparatus is not truly independent, and the need for the number of supervisory apparatus personnel has not been met. This study aims to test the influence of institutional position, role ambiguity and role conflict on Internal Supervisory Performance at the Regional Inspectorate throughout the Riau Islands Province by making the independence of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus as an intervening variable. The design of this study is quantitative research, using a mixed method, namely a questionnaire and supporting theories. The data analysis technique uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach to test the two hypotheses proposed in this study. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the Institutional Position variable has a significant positive effect on the Independence of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP), Internal escort performance at the Regional Inspectorate throughout the Riau Islands Province, while through the independence of Internal Supervisory Performance it has a positive but insignificant effect. The Role Ambiguity variable has a positive but insignificant effect on the APIP Independence variable, Internal Supervisory Performance. The Role Conflict variable has a positive but insignificant effect on the Internal Supervisory Performance variable. The APIP Independence variable has a significant positive effect on the Internal Supervisory Performance variable.

Abstract

Society 5.0 has currently shifted many things in community life. This research focuses on the mission of considering and formulating strategies to be implemented by traditional markets in order to maintain their existence in this era. Researchers have considered that the concept of VRIO (Variable, Rarety, Inimitable, and Organized) in previous research objects has been proven to be able to be implemented and maintain the existence of traditional markets amid globalization. This research is a development of previous research with the addition of variable heritage tourism and technology in the traditional market managerial system. Researchers conducted a review and weighed that all research objects have great hopes in maintaining the existence of traditional markets. The concept of heritage tourism is part of traditional markets because traditional markets are a reflection of society and culture in an area. Apart from that, the existence of many traditional markets is more than 50 years old so it is not only a trade concept but also a cultural one. Meanwhile, the technology variable is included because currently, in the era of society 5.0, the role of technology is side by side with the role of traditional market players.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and analyze the success of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program "Pelita" Stunting conducted by PT Ecogreen Oleochemicals Batam. Children need adequate nutrition and good health care to grow and develop optimally. If children's nutritional and health needs are not met, they are at risk of stunting. Through a qualitative approach, this research examines the positive and negative impacts that arise during the implementation of the program, both for the Company and the program participants. The results showed that the "Pelita" Stunting program succeeded in reducing the prevalence of stunting in the Batam City area, improving children's health and development, and strengthening the Company's image in the eyes of the community. However, some negative impacts such as high costs, potential dependency of participants on aid, and challenges in long-term measurement were also identified. To overcome this, PT Ecogreen Oleochemicals Batam can take strategic actions such as collaboration with BKKBN and Health Institutions, improving monitoring and evaluation systems, and education to encourage the independence of program participants. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the "Pelita" Stunting CSR program has a significant impact in overcoming the problem of stunting. The success of this program shows the importance of the role of CSR in improving the welfare of the community while supporting the sustainability of the company.
