Abstract

The improvement of the competence of physics students can be done with the use of student worksheets and usage models that can support learning activities of students. This research aims to look at the influence of the LKPD virtual laboratory against the competence of physics students in SMA Negeri 12 Padang. The type of this research is Quasi Experiment Research and Posttest Only Control Group Design. The learning model applied in this research is a cooperative type SFE. Assessment on this research in the form of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. After doing research, and analyzing data obtained that there are influences which means the use of a LKPD virtual laboratory against the competence of learners. There is a growing attitude competency on each of his encounters with the experimental class attitude competency value higher than the control class. Competency in the knowledge, the average value of experimental class of 78,82 and average value of control class 74,38. Similarly, on the competency of skills with an average value of experimental class 79,72 and average value of control class 75,41. The results of the analysis of the correlation of product moment at 67,86% of knowledge competence and the competency of skills at 58,62%.  Keywords : LKPD, Virtual Laboratory, Competency, Cooperative

Abstract

Factors of the low students’ achievement of physics competence is the use of strategies that not appropriate to the material. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of applying the Cognitive Conflict Strategy Toward Students’ Competency Achievement in Physics Learning in Class X SMAN 13 Padang. The population is all Class X MIPA SMAN 13 Padang Academic Year 2016/2017, the sampling technique is a cluster random sampling. Quasi-Experimental Research is the type of this research with design Randomized Control Group Only Design. The competencies were measured in this research consist of the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills through , a written test, journal or observation sheets and performance assessment rubric. The three competencies were analyzed by using t-test.The obtaining of average values of two class sample showed experiment class is higher than control class of three competencies. Regression analysis showed a strong relationship between cognitive conflict strategy and knowledge competency. Correlation analysis of Product Moment showed 43.75% knowledge competency affected the applying cognitive conflict strategy. In conclusion, there is a significant impact the applying conflict strategy Toward Students’ Competency Achievement in Learning Physics in Class X SMAN 13 Padang on the 0,05 significan level

Abstract

Scientific approach and integration of caracter value was important in physics learning. Both of them can improve the holistic competencies students including attitude, knowledge, and skills. In reality, used of scientific approach in physic learning was low with average value was 60%. Applying of caracter value in learning process was less with average value was 57%. One of the solution was to design a student worksheet of scientific approach and integrared caracter value  to student of ten class.The purpose of this study were to produce student worksheet with saintific approach and to determine the validity of student worksheet. This Research and Development (R&D). The step wasknowing the potency and problem,data collection,design, validation, and revision product.  Instrument were used in this research validation sheet.Data analysisconsist of descriptive statistic graph method. The were two main research result. First, product was student worksheet. Second, student worksheet was very valid with average value was 85,96

Abstract

One causes of  low science  learning is low  of ability  in problems solving. For motivate student increase of ability  in problems solvier needfull ability  in creative  thinking especially for contents of sounds, lighting, and optic instruments.  The purpose of this research was to determine the learning result of the science students and to  investigate  the  effect  student worksheet based models creative problem solving to  the leaning result  of science  students grade VIII at SMPN 3 Padang. Type of research was quasi experimental  research with  randomized  control group only design. The population in this research were the students grade VIII SMPN 3 Padang who were registered in the 2014/2015 academic year.  Sampling  technique was  cluster random sampling. There were  three instruments  in  this  research,  tose are  test  sheet of cognitive domain, observation  sheet of affective domain, and  performance  sheet  of  pschycomotor  domain.  Based  on  the  data  analysis  could  be  presented  the  result  of  this research. Results of  research  show  the average of science  learning outomes are  69,44  and  67,68  at  cognitive  domain,  77,50  and  72,27  at  affective  domain,  84,53  and  78,94  at pschycomotor domain. By using  t analysis,  tcount > ttable  so  alternatif hipotesis  is accepted. The use student worksheet based models creative problem solving  has given significant effect toward Physics studies result of students grade VIII  SMPN 3 Padang at 0,05 significant level

Abstract

Learning Physics in the 2013 Curriculum requires students to understand concepts. However, the facts found in the field show that students' understanding of concepts is still low and there are misconceptions, especially on unidirectional electricity. One solution to overcome this problem is to make physics teaching materials based on cognitive conflicts integrating virtual laboratories on unidirectional electrical materials to improve students' conceptual understanding. The aim pf this study was to produce a valid cognitive conflict teaching material design. This type of research was Design / Development Research. Using the Plomp model development which has two stages, namely Preliminary Research, at this stage an initial problem analysis was carried out by conducting concept tests on students using coding techniques and conducting interviews with teachers. The second stage of the Prototype Phase was the development stage by designing the required teaching materials. For the design of teaching materials that have been made, a self-evaluation test was carried out using the Likert formula, after which the expert validation or expert review was carried out using the V Aiken's formula for each indicator. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, it can be explained, at the Preliminary Research stage, it was found that in the same direction electricity material more than 30% of students experienced misconceptions and 50% of students did not understand. Meanwhile, teachers still use conventional learning (lecture method) and insufficient laboratory tools to do practicum. The second stage of the Prototype Phase produces teaching material design based on cognitive conflict. The results of the self-evaluation test showed that teaching materials at the validation level were very valid with an average value of 86.7 and the expert validation test for materials at the validation level was very valid with an average value of 0.87. The conclusion from the acquisition of the assessment of physics teaching material design based on cognitive conflict is declared valid and the characteristics of the teaching material are in accordance with the 2008 Ministry of National Education

Abstract

The achievement of students physics competencies is expected to be achieved comprehensively. In order to achieve competencies that are expected to be needed teaching material that contain all competencies, as well as learning models that can increase student activity. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of physics teaching materials integrated intelligence content on parabolic motion and circular motion towards the achievement of class X student competency in SMA 13 Padang. This type of research is Quasi Experimental with research design The Randomize Posttest Only Control Group. Determination of sample classes using purposive sampling techniques. The research data include data on the achievement of competencies in social attitudes, knowledge, and skills. The competency data obtained will be analyzed using descriptive statistics on the three competencies, the similarity test two on the knowledge competency, and the regression test on the three competencies. Based on the results of the analysis that has been done the average value in each competency in the experimental class is higher than the control class. The use of integrated physics teaching materials social intelligence influences the competence of social attitudes by 73%. The knowledge competencies of both sample classes are normally distributed and homogeneous, so the t test is done with the results of th= 4.63 and t table = 1.76. From the t test, it is obtained th> tt where th is not in the reception area Ho so that Hi is accepted which means there are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class. In addition to the differences, integrated physics teaching material content of social intelligence values has an influence of 68%. Achievement of skills competencies using integrated physics teaching materials content of social intelligence has an influence of 67%. These results indicate that there is a significant effect on the achievement of student competence.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to produce a virtual laboratory based LKS through ICT on material there are digital technology, compton effect, and atomic nucleus by knowing the value of validity and practicality. Type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using research step by Sugiyono with research steps that is first to know potency and problem, gather information, design product, validate design, improve design, test product, product revision, trial usage product, product manufacture. The object of this research is LKS based on virtual laboratory through ICT. Based on data analysis, there are three research results. First, the design of LKS based on virtual laboratory through ICT. Second, the average validity value of experts with a value of 89.79 with criteria is very valid. Third, the average value of practicality by teachers with a value of 87.22 with very practical criteria. It can be concluded that the LKS based on virtual laboratory through ICT is very valid and very practical for use in physics learning of SMA XII class.

Abstract

One reason why low student achievement is method of lecturer which is dominant used by teacher in learning process, so it makes students aren’t active in learning. One solution of this problem can be solved by applied Modified Inquiry learning model assisted student worksheet. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of applied modified inquiry assisted student worksheet to student’s science learning outcomes in class VIII2 SMPN 2 Pariaman. This research is quasi experiment research with randomized control qroup only design. This population in this research were all of students of class VIII2 SMPN 2 Pariaman listed at 2014/2015 year academy. Sampling technique was purposive sampling. Samples of the research are class VIII2 as experiment class and class VIII3 as control class. Datas of this research are outcomes of cognitive, affective, and pschycomotor. Instruments of the research are written test at cognitive domain, observation sheet at affective domain, and performance sheet at pschycomotor. The data analysis technique used two average similar test at significant level 0,05. This research shows the average value of cognitive domain, affective domain, and pschycomotor domain of experiment class are 76,18, 78,25, and 80,51 which is higher then control class’s average value are 50,48, 72,92, and 76,20. Data analysis shows tcount at cognitive domain is 9,21, at affective domain is 2,76, and at pschycomotor is 2,55, to significant level 0,05 tcount of three of the domains are bigger than ttabel (ttabel=1,67). It can be concluted that there are effects of applied Modified Inquiry learning model assisted student worksheet to student’s science learning outcomes in class VIII2 SMPN 2 Pariaman

Abstract

Physics learning process is generally teacher-centered and does not provide opportunities for students to develop their potential by issuing their ideas. The learning is not by the demands of the 2013 curriculum, which is student-centered, students who find a concept in learning. Many studies use student worksheets that measure aspects of student knowledge. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect size of worksheets on aspects of student knowledge. This research uses the meta-analyst method. Data collection was done by browsing e-journals, SINTA and Google scholar. The data used are several articles published from 2013-2021 through national and international accredited journals. The sample of this study was 55 articles, consisting of 45 national articles and 10 international articles. The articles used have met the criteria for calculating effect size. Three indicators compare the effect of using LKS based on student knowledge grade level, subject matter units, and learning models. Based on the study results, it was found that the effect size of the use of LKS on the three indicators was (1) The largest effect size is obtained on class level indicator, with high category in class XI of 0.73 with medium category. (2) on unit subject indicator, largest effect size is on the fluid material unit of 0.77 with a high category. And (3) on indicator of the learning model, the largest effect size on the project based learning model is 0.86 with a high category.

Abstract

In 21st century education requires the produced of quality human resources. The emphasized skills are students have the ability to think critically and solve problems, communicate and cooperate, create and renew, and literacy skills. The government's efforts in answering the demands of 21st century education are by implementing the 2017 revised 2017 curriculum. The reality in school showed that physics learning has not been implemented well, one of student’s literacy is still low. One solution to develop physics teaching materials with scientific literacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity of physics teaching materials with scientific literacy.Type of research was Research and Development (R & D). The object of this research was physics teaching material that contains scientific literacy in matter of scale, measurement and vectors. Sources of data from this study were obtained from the results of validation of teaching materials. The validation results were obtained from three  physics lecturers. The data collection instrument used was a validity test sheet to determine product validity. Data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis of the results of product validation. Based on the analysis of the data from the research,it can be concluded physics teaching materials with scientific literacy on the material quantities and measurement, vector have validity with category very high with an average validation value of 88.73.
