Abstract

Teachers need some supporting elements to achieve goals of learning process such as teaching materials and learning strategy. In fact, several units such as the scope, procedure, and focus of teaching materials for each unit still needed to be developed. This research was expected to contribute for increasing students’ competence. One of the supporting elements was students’ Physics worksheet (LKPD) of Senior High School grade X which oriented on IDEAL problem solving strategy. This strategy consisted of five steps, such as identify the problem, define the problem, explore solution, act on the strategy, look back and evaluate the effect (IDEAL). The type of this research was research and development with four-D model which was define, design, develops and disseminate steps. The research was conducted until develop step because disseminate step had some limitedness. The product of this research was examined for validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Validity test was conducted by Drs. Asrul, M.A, Drs. Gusnedi, M.Si, Dra. Murtiani, M.Pd, Drs. Amali Putra, M.Pd and Drs. Masril, M.Si, as Physics Lectures at State University of Padang. After validated by lecturers, the product was applied at X Science 2 at SMAN 1 Padang to determine its practicality and effectiveness. Practicality test was conducted by 3 teachers and 21 students of SMAN 1 Padang using questioners. Based on data analysis, there were three research results. First, LKPD of Senior High School grade X which oriented on IDEAL problem solving strategy was very valid with 82.58. Second, the results of limited applying showed that LKPD of Senior High School grade X which oriented on IDEAL problem solving strategy was very practical with 80, 02 and effective used in teaching learning process. Abstract

Learning outcomes in students Physics subjects are not as expected, due to students' mastery of Physics material is still lacking. Besides that the learning model used is still not varied and teaching materials are not yet fully used. Therefore, researchers used a Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model supported by a textbook. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of textbooks containing comprehensive intelligence Model Problem Based Learning on Parabolic and Circular Motion material in class X of SMAN 8 Padang.This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design with pre-expertal design. The study population was all students of class X MIPA SMAN 8 Padang who were registered in 2019/2020. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was class X MIPA 3 as an experimental class and class X MIPA 5 as a control class. Research data are only knowledge competencies. The research instrument was in the form of pre-test and post-test questions to measure knowledge competence. The data obtained were analyzed using the two average similarity test (t test), simple linear regression test, and correlation test at the 0.05 level for knowledge competence.From the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the use of textbooks with comprehensive intelligence gives a significant difference to the knowledge competence of students at the real level of 0.05.

Abstract

Learning outcomes of Physics are not optimal shows that students do not understand the concepts of physics in comprehensif and detail, this means creative thinking skills of students is still low. One contributing factor is the lack of effective learning strategies and worksheets used by teachers in the learning process both in the lab and non lab activities. Learning strategiesincreased abilityto think equipped with worksheet based learning strategiesincreased abilityto thinkis the expected effective way to improve students' creative thinking skills. Therefore, researchers compiled Physics worksheets using the stages of learning strategiesincreased abilityto think. This study aimed to examine the effect of the use of worksheets based learning strategiesincreased abilityto think the creative thinking skills of student XI science SMAN 1 Solok Selatan.Type of research is quasi-experimental with a Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population of this research is class XI Science SMAN 1 Solok selatan listed on the academic year 2013/2014. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is the final test for cognitive learning outcomes (creative thinking skills). The results showed that the working hypothesis which states that "there is a significant influence use of worksheets Strategi pembelajaran peningkatan kemampuan berpikir (SPPKB)to the creative thinking skills of students of class XI Science SMAN 1 Solok Selatan" can be accepted on accurate level 95 %. Abstract

One of the characteristics of learning materials in secondary schools in accordance with the 2013 curriculum is referring to the Revised Bloom Taxonomy, in the form of 6 levels of cognitive processes. The issues that are the focus of this discussion are: Do the main teaching materials used in high school physics lessons in Padang meet these requirements? This research is a descriptive study with an explorative approach, in which this study provides a report on the object under study in accordance with the facts found and is associated with 6 levels of cognitive processes according to Bloom's revised taxonomy on teaching materials for class X Semester 2 used in physics learning High school in Padang. Data processing is done by percentage techniques. The results showed that in studying Newton's laws of motion material in the city of Padang: a) the proportion of the average percentage of the level of cognitive processes that were trained in teaching materials for each ability level was; considering 7.03%, understanding 7.03%, applying 57.40%, analyzing 20.07%, evaluating 0% and creating 0%. b) the proportion of the average percentage of implementation of the scientific approach trained in teaching materials for each level are: observing 13%, asking 15%, gathering information 8%, reasoning 0%, communicating 7%. This study concludes that the results of the analysis of basic teaching materials used in public high schools in Padang a) have not trained all levels of cognitive processes mandated by the revised Bloom taxonomy. b) scientific approach in teaching materials has not been fully implemented properly. c) the characteristics of teaching materials needed for physics learning are teaching materials that are able to: develop students' reasoning abilities; and oriented towards achieving HOTS.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the virtual laboratory LKS in the generative learning model on the achievement of the competency of students in class X senior high school Adabiah in Padang. The experimental class uses LKS virtual laboratories while the control class uses LKS provided by the school. These competencies include competency in attitude, knowledge and skills . Competence of attitude assessed continued for four indicators which tolerance, cooperation, honesty and discipline. Assessment of the attitude competence assessment using the observation sheet which was conducted for eight meetings. Based on the results of the analysis of the observation sheet, student’s attitudes showed that the attitude of the experimental class students was better than the control class, where the average score of the experimental class attitudes was 87,75 and the control class was 83,75. Knowledge competency seen from posttest and skill competency is known based on the results of performance assessment during practicum. Based on the results of the analysis it was stated that the relationship of achievement of knowledge competencies with the application of virtual laboratory LKS was strong with a series coefficient of 27,8%. Abstract

LKDP based cooperative learning type group investigation is LKPD containing the assignment of individuals who are working with a group of measures cooperative learning type group investigation. LKPD based cooperative learning type group investigation is equipped with a scientific step that is contained on the demands of the curriculum in 2013 so that it can be used as teaching materials to be used for class XI physics learning semesters 1. The aim of this study to generate LKPD based cooperative learning type group investigation that valid. The research conducted is a Research and Development (R&D), design study was used to test the validity of the products. As the subject of this study is LKPD physics-based cooperative learning type group investigation. The data collection instrument used in this study is a validation sheet consisting of four indicators are: feasibility content, linguistic components, parts and components kegrafisan presentation. Based on the analysis of data obtained validation LKPD validity to LKPD based cooperative learning type group investigation is valid with the validity of the average assessed by experts is 80.52 with a valid criteria. LKPD based cooperative learning type group investigation can be used as teaching materials are suitable for use in a business matter, energy, momentum and impulse subjects Physics class XI semesters 1.

Abstract

The attainment of students’ competence in physics in school has not been optimal yet. This is caused by several factors such as the less varied learning method implemented by teacher in the learning process, the limited textbooks in schools which are only used during the lesson hours, and Worksheet Students (LKPD) who can not make the students actively involved in the learning process. An alternative solution to this problem is to apply Worksheet Students (LKPD) based on accelerated learning method and MASTER technique. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of using LKPD based on accelerated learning method and MASTER technique towards the students’ attainment in learning physics in class XI SMAN 7 Padang. The study was a quasi experimental research with Nonequivalen Control Group. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The researcher employed observation sheet as the instrument for assessing the competence of attitude, written test for assessing the level of knowledge and performance, and the scoring rubric for assessing the competence of skills. The types of analysis used were the chart analysis for the attitudes competence, the simple linear regression for the knowledge competence, and the combination of both for the competence of skills. Based on the results of data analysis, there were three results in this study. First, the average value obtained for the attitude competence generally increased over weeks. Second, the average value of the knowledge competence in the experimental class was 80.56. The regression analysis showed that 23,02% of the students’ knowledge competence was influenced by the use of LKPD MASTER learning model. Thirdly, the average value of students’ skills competence in experimental class generally increased in every assessment. The regression analysis showed that 62,87% of students’ skills competence was influenced by LKPD based on accelerated learning method and MASTER technique. Therefore, it could be concluded that LKPD MASTER learning model is capable of increasing the students’ competence in physics in class XI SMAN 7 Padang

Abstract

Achievements of mastery learning physics students at SMAN 11 Padang were not optimal.These are caused by less optimal learning activities ,lack of cooperation, and undeveloped characters of students in the learning process. Moreover, learning model and teaching materials that commonly used have not been varied and Student Worksheet has not been charged character values. Therefore, this research aimed to determine the effect of applying the charged Student Worksheet character values in Jigsaw cooperative learning model in class XI SMAN 11 Physics Padang on learning outcomes of students’s competency attitudes, knowledge, and skills.Type of research was a quasi-experimental (Quasi-Experimental Research) with a research design form was Randomized Control Group Only Design. Population were all students in class XI SMA MIA 11 Padang who registered academic year 2014/2015 with a cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument used a form of observation sheet on the attitude of competencies, a written test on knowledge competencies, and rubring scor on skills competencies. Data were analyzed using two similarity test average used was the t. The results showed that the average of students learning outcomes in experimental class and control class on all competencies were sequentially: (81.38) and (68.9), (80.25) and (75 , 23), and (74.78) and (66.9). Based on the hypothesis test on all competencies as compared with the value of 1.98 tt. Therefore, can be concluded that the hypothesis "There is a significant impact on the application of the Student Worksheet charged character values in Jigsaw cooperative learning model in class XI SMAN 11 Padang" received on the real level of 0.05

Abstract

 This study aimed to see the effect of using CTL-based learning videos on science communication skills and student collaboration in class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gido. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This study uses Class X MIA 2 as the sample class. The data were obtained by using the observation sheet of science communication skills and student collaboration. The results showed that there was an increase in the value of students' science communication skills and collaboration. The posttest score of students' science communication skills was 80.8 and the pretest score was 49.6. The posttest score of students' collaboration ability was 83.8 and the pretest score was 58.2. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is a positive effect of using CTL-based learning videos on the science communication skills and collaboration of Class X MIA students of SMA Negeri 1 Gido.

Abstract

Achievement of student competencies in learning physics is still relatively low. The results of the distribution of questionnaires in the UNP Laboratory Development High School showed that teaching materials and learning approaches used in the learning process were less varied so that they were unable to provide adequate competency achievement for students. The teaching material used in the study is interactive teaching material with character values in a scientific approach developed by Haflianita Hasanah (2018) which has been tested as valid and practical. As for the effectiveness of teaching materials has not been done. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of Interactive Teaching Materials Loaded with Character Values in Scientific Approaches to Wave Material and Optics Towards Increased Competence of Class XI Students in the UNP Laboratory Development Laboratory.The type of research used is Pre-experimental Designs with One-Group Pretest-posttest. The sample in this study was class XI MIA 2 with a total of 30 students, taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection tools in the form of pre-test and post-test written tests for knowledge competencies, observation sheets for attitude competencies, scoring rubrics for skills competencies. Analysis of the effectiveness test was performed using a correlated t test. After conducting research and continuing with analyzing data, it can be concluded that Interactive Teaching Materials with Character Values in Scientific Approaches on Wave Material and Optics are effectively used in learning at a real level of 0.05 which can be seen from an increase in students' learning competency in the aspect of knowledge at the time after using Interactive Teaching Materials. The results of the effectiveness based on the calculated value obtained is smaller than the value of the table. The t value obtained is -31.12 while the value of -table is equal to -1.701.
