Abstract

This study aims to produce a mobile learning media using an android studio application based on edupark physics waterfall Bayangsani Pesisir Selatan on fluid material for high school students and find out the validity level. This type of research is development research using the Plomp model. The data source of this study was a validator team consisting of three lecturers from the Department of Physics Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNP. The research instrument used in this study was an initial observation questionnaire for students and teachers, as well as a validation instrument. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical techniques. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the mobile learning media using android studio applications based on edupark physics has a validity value of 82.43 with a very valid category. The validity of the characteristics of this media product is assessed in terms of material substance, learning design, display (visual communication), and software utilization

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low physical competence of students, one of the reason is the practical activities that have not been optimally carried out in schools, because of limited tools and time, are carried out using virtual LKPD. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the LKPD virtual laboratory on the achievement of competence of students in class XII SMAN 5 Padang. This research is classified as quasi experimental design by method pretest-posttest control group design. Samples from all class XII students were determined using purposive sampling technique. The data of this study only focused on the achievement of knowledge competencies obtained through the pretest and posttest in the experimental class to see the effectiveness of the use of teaching materials carried out using the t-correlation test. Data on the achievement of knowledge competencies were also analyzed to see differences in learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class using the two average similarity test. Based on the result of the data analysis the value obtained t count < t table . This shows that the virtual laboratory base ICT is effectively used in physics learning class XII at SMAN 5 Padang. Based on the posttest result of the two sample classes using two similarity test on average at the level of α = 0,05 obtained t count > t table .Based on the analysis of the two sample classes it can be concluded that there are differences in the learning outcomes of the experimental class using the virtual laboratory LKPD.

Abstract

Some of Physics matter’s phenomenon is cannot be observed directly. The abstract phenomenon make experiment activity in laboratory had the hands tied. One alternative to overcome the problem was make the abstract phenomenon can be observed by student in learning activity by using Virtual Laboratory. The general objective of this research was to produce a Virtual Laboratory for physics material “Kinematics with Vector Analysis” Grade XI SMA that has a good validity, practicallity, and effectivity. The type of this research was Research and Development (R & D). To reach objective above, steps done was: 1) identificated potential and problem, 2) collected information, 3) designed product, 4) validate design (with 5 experts), 5) product revision, 6) tested product. Based on the data analysis which has been done, it can present the research results. First, Virtual Laboratory for physics material “Kinematics with Vector Analysis” for grades XI SMA. Second, Virtual Laboratory has a high validity with average value of 81, 67. Third, the value of practicality of Virtual Laboratory was 78, 57 of teacher assessment, 83,22 of student assessment, and 86,54 of observer assessment. Fourth, Virtual Laboratory was effective base on student assessment (81,08). The effectivity of Virtual Laboratry was also signed by the increasing of student’s physics mark. Abstract

Revolution 4.0 has changed the demands of the world of education a lot. The national education system expects students to develop the potential for thinking in order to keep up with the times. K-13 is used as a solution to answer it so that learning combines the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive processes. Overcome, real conditions found that the learning materials in balance and rotational dynamics used in schools didn’t meet the scope of the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive processes as expected. One solution to this problem is to develop learning materials oriented to the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive processes in balance and rotational dynamics. The purpose of this research is to develop and determine the validity of the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive processes on teaching materials in balance and rotational dynamics for high school physics learning. The type of research is Research and Development by taking the ADDIE model which is reduced to the development stage. The subjects are 3 physics lecturers UNP and 3 physics teachers from SMAN 2, 4, and 12 Kerinci with the object being teaching materials consisting of lesson plans, textbook, and evaluation instruments. The results of data analysis obtained of validity values on lesson plans, textbook, and evaluation instruments according to lecturers and teachers respectively with a score 84,67% and 94,58%. Overall teaching materials get an average score 89,63% in very valid category and can be continued with field tests to determine its practicality and effectiveness in high school physics learning.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum emphasizes a learning process that is student-centered, active, interactive and integrated with a scientific approach. One supporting factor for the creation of learning is the availability of good learning resources. However, the reality in the field of learning resources used is not in accordance with the demands of the 2013 curriculum, does not meet the needs of students, and does not fully meet the criteria for good teaching materials. Teaching material used in the form of printed teaching materials that contain subject matter and questions only, without the scientific approach that includes it. Teaching materials that utilize technology are still in separate forms such as videos, animations, images, which have not been packaged in a single unit (not yet interactive). Therefore, it is necessary to design teaching materials that utilize technology such as Android on smartphones. This study aims to produce products in the form of android-based teaching materials for learning physics in sound wave material, light waves and valid optical devices. This research focuses on making an Android-based teaching material product in the form of an interactive module in accordance with the steps of making teaching material in the form of a module according to the Ministry of National Education (2010). Like the planning stage, the preparation phase (determining teaching material, type of software, models and storyboards) as well as the preparation of teaching material. The validity of the product was assessed by three physics lecturers from FMIPA UNP and one physics teacher at SMAN 8 Padang. Based on research that has been done, produced a product in the form of teaching materials based on Android. This teaching material contains text, sound, animation, music, and video. The research product was also categorized as very valid in terms of the content of teaching materials, grammar, graphics, scientific approaches and software utilization with an average value of 89.11%.

Abstract

Abstract – Integration of character values in learning process are important to reach the purpose of national learning. One solution to integrate the character values in learning process through worksheet based on ICT. The purpose of this research is to produce worksheet based on ICT in Physics subject that integrate of character value  that valid, practice, and effective to use in Physics learning process. Object of this research is worksheet based on ICT integrate education character value. The instruments are used to collect the data in this research are: validity sheet, practicality sheet, learning outcome test sheet, and observation character value sheet. Based on analyze of the data, there are four result of this research. First, worksheet has high validation score 84.55. Second, design worksheet based on ICT consist of home, introduction, competence, worksheet, evaluation, and download. Third, the value of practicality of worksheet based on ICT according to teachers and students are 81,81 and 88,28. Abstract

Physics learning in 2013 curriculum demands students to apply the spiritual attitudes of competence. For this reason, physics teaching material should support the achievement of core competence especially the spiritual competence. But the real condition physics teaching material in schools didn’t include the spiritual intelligence content yet. Solution of this problem is to develop of physics teaching material that contain content value of spiritual intelligence. The purpose of this research is to produce physics teaching material with spiritual intelligence content on two dimensional motion and Newton’s laws of motion that has both practice and effective criteria. This research can be included into research and development (R&D) type. The development model in research was Sugiyono’s development model. This development model consists of ten stages, but in this research only use six stages, namely potential and problem, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and poduct testing. The object of research was physics teaching material with spiritual intelligence content. The instruments that used in research were practicality assessment sheet, the learning result sheet, and spiritual attitude assessment sheet. The data analysis technique were descriptive statistical analysis and comparative test of one group of sample. Based on data analysis can be presented two results of this reseacrh. First, the use physics teaching material with spiritual intelligence content is practice according to physics teachers and learners with average value were 85.70 and 82.49 respectively. Second, the use physics teaching material with spiritual intelligence content is effective in scientific approach to improve the knowledge and spiritual attitudes competences of learners.

Abstract

Learning outcome in physics is not optimal. Learning materials used by the students were still domina ted by materials which improves the competence of knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary learning materials to improve the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of students. Learning materials that can be used is the learning materials contains comprehensiveo intelligence. The purpose of this research was to investigated the effect of applying the teaching materials contains comprehensive intelligence by using Inquiry learning model towards the competence of physics students grade X at SMAN 4 Padang. It was quasi-experimental research using Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population were the students grade  X at SMAN 4 Padang who were registered in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The technique sampling was by purposive sampling technique. The instruments were written test for competence of knowledge, observation sheet for competence of attitude and performance assessment sheet for competence of skills. The hypothesis was analized by using Chi Square at significance level of 0.05 and dk 1. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there are significant effect on the implementation of a learning materials contains comprehensive intelligence by using Inquiry learning model towards the competence of physics students grade X at SMAN 4 Padang

Abstract

Interactive teaching materials play an important role to achieve success in the learning process. The reality is at school, learning physics has not used interactive teaching materials only printed teaching materials are available in the library. The implementation of learning still applies the lecture method and does not use the model of learning. The application of character values has not been integrated in teaching materials. Overcoming the problem is given a solution that is applying Character Loaded Interactive Teaching Materials. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Interactive Character-Based Teaching Materials using the Discovery Learning Model on the Achievement of Students of Class XI SMAN 7 Solok Selatan. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research design using the Posttest Only Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population was all students of class XI MIA SMAN 7 Solok Selatan. The technique of determining the sample is done by combining purposive sampling and cluster random sampling techniques. The research sample is class XI MIA 2 for the experimental class and class XI MIA I as the control class. Instruments for obtaining data in the form of an attitude observation sheet and posttest sheet. Processing data using normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, simple linear regression and correlation test at the real level of 0.05. The results showed that the average value of experimental class knowledge competence was higher than the average value of control class knowledge competence of 81.08 and 72.24. The result of product moment correlation analysis on knowledge competence is 24.88% and attitude competency is 25.31%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that at the real level of 0.05 there is a significant influence of the application of Character-Based Interactive Teaching Materials using the Discovery Learning Model for the Achievement of Students in Class XI of SMAN 7 Solok Selatan.
