Abstract

The 21st century demands that students be able to have critical thinking competencies, communicate, relate global issues and literacy of scientific. Efforts made by the government to meet these demands are by improving the curriculum and holding the program of School Literacy Movement. But in reality there are problems related to literacy which is applied only to note and listen to the teacher, the unavailability of worksheets in all subjects, and the low understanding of students in answering questions. One way to deal with this issue is to develop a physics worksheet containing literacy in scientific. The research purpose was to determine of Characteristics of LKS containing literacy of scientific in straight motion material. This research type was  design research (Design Research). The research object was the physics worksheet with literacy of scientific on the material of straight motion. The research instrument used was a self-evaluation assessment sheet, a one to one assessment sheet consisting of material components, learning design, implementation and technical. Expert validation sheet consisting of content, linguistic, presentation, and graphic feasibility components. The data analysis technique uses Aiken's formula to be able to calculate the content validity coefficient. The results of the LKS validation assessment obtained a value on the content feasibility component of 0.8 in the category was valid, the value on the linguistic feasibility component of 0.75 in the category was valid, the value on the presentation feasibility component of 0.77 in the category was valid, and the value on the feasibility component graphics of 0.83 in the category was very valid. Based on the results of research on physics worksheets containing literacy of scientific in the category was valid with an average validity value of 0.79.

Abstract

This research was intended to produce students' worksheets according to contextual learning approach to build critical thinking skills of 10th-grade high school students on linear and projectile motion. The method used in this research is Sugiyono's level 4 research and development method which has been modified and restricted up to the validation stage. The data in this research was obtained based on the results of product validity which were assessed by three experts using validation sheet with six components, namely content feasibility, presentation, linguistics, contextual assessment aspects, critical thinking assessments aspect, and graphics. The obtained data were processed using Aiken's V validation analysis, the results are described through graphs. The results of the V coefficient of the product is 0,86 included in the very high category. So, the students' worksheets according to contextual learning approach to build the critical thinking skills of 10th-grade high school students on linear and projectile motion can be said to be very valid.

Abstract

One that affects student learning outcomes is the learning model used. Experts have developed several learning models, one of which is a problem solving learning model, and there has been much research that looks at how the impact of problem solving models on student learning outcomes, but there has been no research that concludes how the impact of problem solving models on student learning outcomes. Therefore, meta-analysis methods are used. Meta-analysis is a method that analyzes some of the most important similar articles to conclude. This research purpose to decide the summary effect (M) of the impact of the use of problem solving models on high school physics learning on student learning outcomes and to determine the summary effect of the impact of the use of problem solving models on high school physics learning on student learning outcomes pursuant to subject matter. The sample in the study was twenty one articles from national journals. The result of this study is that there is an impact of the use of problem solving models in high school physics learning on student learning outcomes with a summary effect (M) of 0.812 which is in the high category and the second result is the application of problem solving models in high school physics learning has the highest influence on the kinematics motion material class x with a summary effect (M) of 1,670 which is in the very high category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to cultivate students' creative thinking. Students' thinking can have an impact on human development. This was achieved through the results of the Human Development Index survey, which showed that the level of human resource development in Indonesia is still low due to poor student abilities. One of the drivers of increasing students' ability to think creatively is the learning tools used. We need educational tools that can help students improve their thinking skills. One of the most popular learning tools is the critical thinking in it. This research was conducted to develop a basic electronics module that integrates creative thinking in passive component material and its application for physics students, FMIPA, UNP. The type of the study is R and D (research and development). The development in this study uses the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. However, the development of this research only reached the development stage due to the limited time and cost for this research. The data obtained from this study came from the validity test through validity sheet. The worksheet is divided into five sections, which are assessed by our qualified trainers. The average improvement in students' creative thinking is 86.5%. This value states that the development of basic electronics modules integrates creative thinking in passive component materials and the application is declared feasible in terms of product validity tests.

Abstract

The parameters of a nation's success can be evaluated by how revolution 4.0 education advances science and technology. This is also a new difficulty in the educational realm. In order to prepare for Revolution 4.0, students must have talents as provisions. Contextual learning is one way for helping students enhance their critical and creative thinking skills. Simple harmonic motion is one of the ideas that is relevant to everyday life, hence there are many contextual problems that may be handled. To enhance students' critical and creative thinking skills, the researchers developed interactive learning media focused on the concept of simple harmonic motion. The type of research was research and development (R&D) with ADDIE model. This study examined at interactive learning media oriented at critical and creative thinking skills on the concept of simple harmonic motion. The research goal was to create learning media with critical and creative thinking skills based on the simple harmonic motion concepts. The product validity was reviewed by three physics lecturer at FMIPA UNP. Product validity has an average value of 0.83 in the very valid category.

Abstract

21st-century education is an education described by the utilization of computerized innovation in the educational experience to further develop student's critical and creative thinking skills. The integrated teaching module of STEM education is still low, this is obtained from the analysis of STEM integration in textbooks, which is 57.89. The answer for defeat these issues is to foster a coordinated sound wave and light wave e-module in STEM schooling. This study aims to reveal the validity of the integrated sound wave and light wave e-module in STEM education. This type of research is included in research and development. This study uses the ADDIE development model. The instrument in this study used a content validity sheet. Technical analysis of the data in this study using Aiken's V. In view of the outcomes of the analysis of Aiken's V obtained a value of 0.83. Product validity is interpreted as a high validity category because the score is 0.8. In view of the aftereffects of this review, it was inferred that the e-module of sound waves and light waves integrated with STEM education was in the valid category and could be used in learning in schools on aspects of material substance, visual communication display, instructional design, software usage, and STEM assessment. Researchers hope that this e-module can be a reference for technology-based learning resources to create meaningful learning to encourage the improvement of high school students critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

Many studies related to the application of the PjBL model to student learning outcomes have been published in national and international journals. One of the studies that is able to summarize the results of existing studies as a whole is meta-analysis research. Meta-analysis research is quantitative in nature because it uses statistical calculations to summarize all research results which are not possible with other research methods. The data analysis technique used in meta-analysis research is to calculate the effect size of the related research. Based on the results of the study, three research results were obtained, namely the use of the PjBL model on high school physics learning outcomes had an effective influence on learning outcomes of knowledge and skills, class X and XI levels as well as physics subject matter units in high school, namely optical devices, simple harmonic motion, static fluid, dynamic fluid, newton's law, impulse and momentum, straight motion, heat, and work and energy. However, the use of the PjBL model is less effective for dynamic electric matter units, elasticity, and Kepler's law due to certain factors.

Abstract

The outcome of the research to determine student learning at 3 levels of education using  PDEODE  model. The result  were researched from 8 international journals. Method used in this research are  meta-analysis. Meta-analysis is defined as a technique in statistics to describe the results of two or more studies in order to obtain quantitative data guidance. The conclusion of this study specify to manage the PDEODE model has a good effect on student learning achievement.

Abstract

The development of education cannot be separated from the development of the current Industrial Revolution 4.0. One of the chops that can answer the industrial revolution is data literacy and technological literacy. The use of ICT-based teaching materials is needed in learning in this era. Correspondingly, stem integration will improve new literacy skills. However, in preliminary studies, the lack of ICT-based worksheet use in the learning process. The solution to this problem is to create STEM-integrated ICT-based worksheets. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of ICT-based worksheets in effective STEM integration work and energy teaching materials to improve students' knowledge, data literacy, and technology literacy. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) according to the Plomp model. The data obtained from this study is the result of expert validation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis with Aiken's V validation. The validation results of Aiken's V stated that the average of 0.80 had a high coefficient of Aiken's V criteria. This result was obtained from an average of three expert validators. Thus, an ICT-based worksheet, a STEM-integrated work, and energy material to improve the data literacy and technological literacy of SMA students is declared valid and suitable for learning. It is hoped that this worksheet can be a reference for further research to improve the quality of learning to answer the challenges of the upcoming revolution era

Abstract

The 2013 Revised Curriculum requires teachers to develop learning through the integration of four elements, one of which is the 21st Century Skills (4Cs). To understand these requirements, learning with teacher-centered models and methods is no longer possible, and students must be empowered with student-centered active learning. Efforts to overcome poor student learning outcomes can be done by using a student-centered learning model and involving students actively in learning. One of them is the REACT learning model. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of using the REACT model on physics learning outcomes for students of class X semester 2 of SMAN 1 RAO, Pasaman Regency.This type of research is experimental research using a posttest-only control design. The research subjects were all students of Class X MIPA SMAN 1 RAO for the academic year 2021/2022. The samples were taken using the purposive sampling technique. Research data is data on the achievement of student competence in knowledge competence. The final test (post-test) with multiple choice questions was used as a research instrument. The survey data were analyzed using the normality test, homogeneity test, and the similarity test of two averages.The results showed that the experimental class had an average final test score of 81 and the control class had an average final test score of 76.52. The results for the similarity of the two averages were obtained > for a significance level of 0.05, which means that there is an effect of applying the REACT model on the physics learning outcomes of students in Class X MIPA Semester 2 at SMAN 1 RAO, Pasaman Regency. Keywords :2013 curriculum revision, REACT model
