Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of plastic bag reduction policies by communities and business actors in support of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Barru Regency. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that public awareness of the environmental impacts of plastic bag usage is increasing; however, challenges remain in maintaining consistent behavioral change and ensuring the availability of eco-friendly alternatives. Business actors show varying degrees of support depending on the type of business and their understanding of existing regulations. The local government has issued policies to promote plastic reduction, although enforcement and public outreach efforts are considered insufficient. The implementation of this policy contributes to the achievement of SDG Goal 12 (responsible consumption and production) and Goal 12 (climate action). Collaboration among the government, businesses, and communities is identified as a key factor in fostering behavioral transformation and creating a more sustainable environment.

Abstract

This paper highlights the contemporary issue of gender-based violence that occurs in the digital space, especially in the form of a crime known as morphing. Morphing is actually a technique in the field of digital technology that initially did not have a criminal connotation, but was used legally in industries such as film to create certain visual effects - namely by changing the character or shape of an image from one form to another. However, the development of this technology has also opened up opportunities for misuse by irresponsible parties. The morphing technique is now often used for actions that are detrimental and demeaning to the dignity of victims, especially women. The perpetrators usually edit or manipulate the victim's personal images or videos without their knowledge and consent, and combine them into pornographic visual content. This modification is then distributed with the intention of blackmailing, intimidating, or destroying the victim's reputation in the public eye. The main focus of this study is how forms of legal protection can be applied to women as victims of morphing crimes, especially based on the regulations contained in Law Number 12 of 2022. This study aims to provide an analysis of these legal provisions within the framework of creating a fair and socially just justice system, as well as making related articles a strong legal basis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image, sales promotion, electronic word of mouth (E-WoM), and positive emotion on consumers’ impulse buying behavior in purchasing decisions related to Baso Aci on TikTok Shop. The selected object of this study is Baso Aci Sajodo. Although Baso Aci in general was the most popular product on TikTok Shop in October 2024, the sales performance of Baso Aci Sajodo remained relatively low compared to other products offered by Sajodo. This condition reflects a common issue faced by MSMEs, often caused by uneven and suboptimal marketing strategies. This research uses a quantitative approach through an online questionnaire distributed to 250 respondents who live in Jabodetabek, are at least 17 years old, and who have purchased Baso Aci Sajodo at least twice in the past month on TikTok Shop. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine the relationships between the studied variables and to test the proposed hypotheses. The findings indicate that brand image, sales promotion, electronic word of mouth, and positive emotion have a positive and significant influence on impulse buying. Therefore, this research provides valuable insights for strategic planning, particularly for MSME actors such as Baso Aci Sajodo, in optimizing brand image, offering attractive promotions, generating positive reviews, and building consumers’ positive emotions to enhance the likelihood of impulse buying decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the significant positive effects of corporate social responsibility (CSR), the board of directors' size, and the board of commissioners' size on financial performance, as well as to assess whether institutional ownership functions as a moderating variable that strengthens the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The research utilizes secondary data derived from the annual reports and sustainability reports of mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020–2023. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method, and the data were analyzed using panel data regression with EViews software. The results indicate that CSR has a positive and significant influence on financial performance, while the board of directors' size does not show a significant effect. Conversely, the board of commissioners' size exerts a positive and significant impact on financial performance. Moreover, institutional ownership is found to moderate the relationship between CSR and financial performance, but does not moderate the relationship between the board of directors or board of commissioners and financial performance. Based on these findings, future research is encouraged to broaden the scope of industries and the length of the observation period, incorporate additional relevant variables, categorize institutional ownership, and explore alternative moderating variables.
