Abstract

This article examines the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) within Indonesia's education system through multiple theoretical frameworks. Despite national initiatives such as Merdeka Belajar and Digitalisasi Sekolah, the implementation of ICT continues to face systemic barriers including infrastructure inequality, teacher preparedness, and fragmented policy execution. Utilizing a qualitative, literature-based approach, the study analyzes ICT integration through the lenses of Diffusion of Innovation, TPACK, SAMR, Constructivism, and Connectivism. These frameworks illuminate the sociocultural, pedagogical, and technological factors shaping ICT adoption in Indonesia’s diverse educational landscape. The findings underscore the need for locally responsive strategies that prioritize sustainable teacher professional development, inclusive infrastructure expansion, stakeholder collaboration, and context-sensitive policy formulation. Furthermore, the article outlines key benefits of ICT—such as enhanced access to information, personalized learning, and 21st-century skill development—while critically examining barriers rooted in inequities and institutional limitations. Practical strategies are proposed to address these challenges, including digital professional learning communities, culturally relevant content development, and innovation incentives. The study concludes by identifying future research directions, including longitudinal studies, inclusive practices, and policy evaluation. By offering a multidimensional perspective, this article contributes to ongoing discourse on how to bridge the digital divide and foster more equitable, effective ICT integration in Indonesian education.

Abstract

This research examines how sales growth, financial hardship, leverage, and company size affect accounting prudence in Indonesia Stock Exchange-listed mining businesses from 2019 to 2023. Modern financial reporting encounters market volatility and management uncertainty, emphasising the need to recognise losses sooner than profits. Stakeholders depend on financial statements. The mining business is high-risk and complicated, thus financial anomalies highlight the need for open and careful accounting. This quantitative study uses multiple linear regression analysis on 213 firm-year observations. The results show that sales growth and company size do not impact prudence. Financial crisis reduces prudence, implying that struggling enterprises are less careful to retain shareholder trust. Leverage increases caution since highly leveraged enterprises report more cautiously to satisfy creditors. This research emphasises the importance of financial health and debt structure in Indonesian mining accounting prudence.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of financial flexibility, earnings volatility, and asset structure on the capital structure of companies operating in the heavy construction and civil engineering subsector of Indonesia’s infrastructure industry, listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2021 and 2024. Employing panel data regression on 285 firm-year observations, the research identifies several critical insights. First, financial flexibility approximated by the ratio of retained earnings to total assets has a positive and statistically significant relationship with capital structure. This suggests that firms with greater internal financial strength tend to rely more on debt financing when additional funding is required, allowing them to respond efficiently to financial risks and investment opportunities in this capital-intensive environment. Second, earnings volatility, calculated as the standard deviation of return on assets (ROA), does not exhibit a significant influence on capital structure decisions. This outcome indicates that income variability does not markedly affect firms’ use of debt, likely due to their ability to manage unstable earnings through adaptive financial practices. Lastly, asset structure—measured by the proportion of fixed assets to total assets—also shows no significant correlation with capital structure. This result challenges the universal applicability of the pecking order theory, especially within industries characterized by high capital demands and unique risk profiles, such as heavy construction. The findings offer valuable insights by analyzing financial decision-making in a capital-intensive sector within a developing economy and highlight the potential need to reconsider traditional capital structure theories in specific industry contexts.

Abstract

This research examines how knowledge sharing and self-efficacy affect Indonesian elite taekwondo players. Based on the importance of knowledge management and psychological preparation in competitive sports and Indonesian taekwondo players' inconsistent international performance, this study fills a gap in the literature. A quantitative technique was used to gather data from 166 active Indonesian kyourugi taekwondo athletes using standardized questionnaires and simple linear regression. Unlike early beliefs, information exchange does not greatly improve athlete performance in this scenario. Self-efficacy has a statistically significant beneficial effect on athletic accomplishment, highlighting its importance in competitive success. These findings imply that although explicit knowledge transfer may not immediately enhance competition performance, Indonesian taekwondo players need high self-efficacy to increase mental resilience, effort, and problem-solving. Sports stakeholders must emphasize psychologically informed training to generate high-performing athletes, according to the research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Human Resource Management (HRM), Work-Life Balance (WLB), and employee involvement on employee performance, with digitalisation as a mediating variable. The digital era has transformed the paradigm of HR management, requiring organisations to become more adaptive to technological developments. This research was conducted at PT XYZ, Bekasi Regency, using a quantitative approach with purposive sampling involving 148 respondents. The findings show that HRM and employee involvement do not have a direct impact on employee performance, while WLB has a positive and significant effect. Moreover, digitalisation significantly mediates the relationship between the three independent variables and employee performance. These results highlight the importance for organisations to prioritise work-life balance policies and integrate digital technologies into HR practices such as performance appraisal systems, employee training programs, and digital communication platforms—to enhance employee performance. This study contributes to the theoretical development of HRM in the digital age and provides practical implications for strategic decision-making in human resource management.
