Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the DPRD’s legislative performance on the protection of indigenous peoples’ rights in Central Maluku Regency, focusing on how legislative actions contribute to safeguarding customary land, natural resources, and cultural identity. This study used a quantitative approach with a full sampling technique involving all 40 members of the Central Maluku Regency DPRD. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and processed using simple linear regression with statistical software to measure the causal influence of legislative performance. The study found that DPRD legislative performance has a positive and significant effect on the protection of indigenous peoples’ rights. The regression coefficient of 0.643 and R² value of 0.819 indicate that legislative performance explains a substantial proportion of variations in rights protection, confirming the research hypothesis and demonstrating the DPRD’s strategic role. This study provides empirical evidence on the direct quantitative influence of legislative performance on indigenous rights protection at the regional level. It advances existing knowledge by offering measurable indicators of legislative effectiveness and highlighting the importance of strengthening institutional capacity to enhance substantive protection outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines four models of integration between Islam and science in Islamic higher education institutions in Indonesia using a qualitative approach and literature review, namely the Amin Abdullah Integration-Interconnection model, Imam Suprayogo’s Tree of Knowledge model, the Revelation Guides Knowledge (WMI) model, and the Andromeda Spiral model. The results show that although these models have different epistemological orientations, they complement each other by emphasizing interdisciplinary dialogue, tauhid as the foundation of the curriculum, the supremacy of revelation, and the progressive dynamics of knowledge. Despite challenges such as limited resources and implementation difficulties, there are strategic opportunities through interdisciplinary research, curriculum innovation, maqashid shariah approaches, and the dissemination of integrative paradigms. In conclusion, knowledge-based Islamic education plays a crucial role in shaping Muslim generations who are religious, intellectual, and contributive, with these four models serving as an epistemological map that unites revelation, philosophy, curriculum, and a vision of civilization.

Abstract

The placement of IDR 200 trillion in state funds in partner banks constitutes a strategic government cash management instrument to maintain fiscal liquidity and strengthen banking intermediation. As it involves public wealth, this policy must be evaluated from the perspective of asset protection (ḥifẓ al-māl) within the framework of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. This study aims to assess the compatibility of the policy with the principle of ḥifẓ al-māl through an analysis of policy design, implementation, and associated governance risks. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach based on document analysis of fiscal regulations, supervisory authority reports, and relevant academic literature. The findings indicate that the policy is effective in maintaining nominal fund security and short-term banking stability; however, significant weaknesses remain in terms of transparency, accountability, and the optimization of social benefits. Therefore, strengthening the orientation toward public welfare is an urgent necessity in managing state funds.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of Brand Hate and Negative Electronic Word of Mouth on Non-Purchase Intention, using a case study of the Baked n Grind brand. Quantitative research was used in this study. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. A total of 154 respondents residing in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) aged 17-50 years were involved in this study. The study was conducted in November 2025. Respondents were men and women who were consumers of bread and bakery products, social media users, and familiar with the latest information about the Baked n Grind brand. The data source used primary data by distributing questionnaires through Google Forms. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Squares with the SmartPLS data processing tool version 4.1.0.0. The first hypothesis indicates a positive and significant influence of Brand Hate on Non-Purchase Intention. Meanwhile, the second hypothesis indicates a positive but insignificant influence of Negative Electronic Word of Mouth on Non-Purchase Intention. This confirms that managing customer experience and consumer emotions is key to maintaining purchase intention. Baked n Grind needs to identify and address the sources of brand hate, such as inconsistent product quality, poor service interactions, or perceived unfairness. Preventive efforts are more important than remedial measures once hate has formed, as brand hate is difficult to reverse and directly impacts purchase decisions.

Abstract

This study analyses the form and role of social capital in the management of Community Forests(HKm) in Muaro Jambi District. Using a comparative qualitative approach, the study comparestwo HKm organisations with different institutional categories, namely the Koperasi Multi UsahaMandiri (gold category) and KTH Bumi Indah Sejahtera (blue category). Data collection wasconducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The resultsshow that social capital in both groups is reflected in three dimensions: bonding, bridging, andlinking. The bonding dimension is strong in both groups, characterised by trust, mutualcooperation, and member participation. The bridging dimension developed better in KoperasiMulti Usaha Mandiri through horizontal networking with other cooperatives. The most decisivefactor was the linking dimension, which showed the most notable difference. The Multi-BusinessCooperative had strong vertical relationships with the village government and the forestryservice, thereby supporting institutional strengthening and improving the group's economicachievements. Conversely, KTH Bumi Indah Sejahtera has weak linking capital due to a lack ofcoordination with the village government, which has resulted in limited programme support andeconomic outcomes. This study concludes that the success of HKm management depends not onlyon internal cohesion, but primarily on the group's ability to build vertical networks to gain accessto resources and policy support.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of self-efficacy and work motivation on the performance of elementary school teachers using the Logas Tanah Darat teaching method. This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method involving 149 teachers, selected proportionally from a population of 236 educators in 17 public elementary schools. Data were collected through questionnaires on self-efficacy, work motivation, and teacher performance. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and simple and multiple regressions with the help of SPSS 25. The data showed that self-efficacy contributed significantly to teaching performance, reaching 44.7%, indicating that those who are highly confident in their professional skills implement learning more effectively. Work motivation was also a factor, at 47.3%, highlighting how enthusiasm, discipline, and internal commitment shape consistent teaching behavior over time. These two variables, when combined, explained 47.3% of the variation in performance, indicating that psychological self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation are important elements underlying work effectiveness. To improve teaching performance, the study concluded that it is important not only to develop technical skills, but also to strategically invest in strengthening self-efficacy and fostering strong intrinsic motivation to encourage sustainable and high-quality teaching practices.

Abstract

This research analyses the inhibiting factors and formulates strategies to improve the quality of education in inland Papua, known as the “Land of the Black Pearl”. Although the region is rich in natural resources, Papua still faces significant challenges in education access and quality compared to other regions in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with stakeholders, field observations and analyses of relevant documents. This research was conducted in school SD INPRES 40 Aimasi Papua Barat in May-June 2025, involving 8 teachers as participants. The results identified several key inhibiting factors, including limited infrastructure, a shortage and inequality of qualified educators, a curriculum that lacks relevance to the local context, extreme geographical challenges, and socio-cultural and economic factors of the local community. Based on these findings, the study proposes a comprehensive education quality improvement strategy. These strategies include developing adaptive infrastructure, increasing the capacity and equitable distribution of teachers, developing local wisdom-based curricula, utilising information and communication technology (ICT) for distance education, and strengthening the role of communities and local governments in supporting education. It is hoped that this research can make a real contribution to the formulation of more effective policies and intervention programmes.
