Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of religious moderation values and analyze how these values foster tolerance among students of different religions at SMKN 1 Bandar Lampung. This qualitative descriptive research employed observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving school leaders, Islamic Religious Education teachers, Civics teachers, Rohis instructors, Muslim students, non-Muslim students, and extracurricular participants. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman’s model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results reveal that religious moderation values are integrated into school programs and learning practices, such as inclusive religious activities, mutual respect habituation, positive interreligious interactions, and school policies that emphasize harmony in diversity. Teachers play an active role as moderate role models and facilitators of dialogue spaces that help students understand differences positively. These findings confirm that religious moderation supports the creation of a harmonious school culture and strengthens tolerance among students.

Abstract

This study investigates the dynamics of collective behavior and social movements that emerged during the late-August 2025 demonstrations in Indonesia, focusing on how structural grievances, triggering events, and media framing shaped the escalation of public mobilization. The research aims to explain why the protests, which initially centered on opposition to proposed parliamentary allowance increases, quickly expanded into a nationwide movement marked by strong expressions of solidarity and episodes of mass violence. Special attention is given to the death of Affan Kurniawan, an ordinary citizen who became an unintended victim during crowd-control operations, and whose case transformed the public’s emotional and moral engagement with the demonstrations. Using a qualitative approach that combines interviews with civil society actors, analysis of organizational documents, and observations of mainstream and digital media content, the study identifies several key findings. Structural economic and political tensions created fertile conditions for mobilization, while the death of Affan Kurniawan acted as a powerful moral catalyst that broadened participation across diverse social groups. Civil society organizations played a crucial role in coordinating information, framing human-rights concerns, and maintaining the momentum of public engagement. Meanwhile, contrasting media narratives contributed to divergent interpretations of the protests, influencing public sentiment and state responses. The study concludes that interactions among grievances, symbolic events, and communication networks significantly amplify the scale and emotional intensity of contemporary social movements. Strengthening transparency, accountability, and rights-based approaches in protest management is essential to prevent similar escalations in the future.

Abstract

Administrative academic activities in many Junior High Schools are still carried out manually, such as entering student grades and attendance using separate worksheets. This process often leads to delays, data duplication, and calculation errors that affect the accuracy of report card results. To address these issues, this study aims to develop a web-based information system for managing student report card and attendance data that can integrate all academic processes digitally. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, consisting of needs analysis, system design, prototype development, and implementation testing. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL with a user-centered design approach to ensure ease of use for teachers, homeroom teachers, and administrative staff. The findings indicate that the system successfully reduced the time needed for grade recap from seven days to three days and decreased input errors by more than sixty percent. User responses showed a high level of satisfaction regarding the system’s ease of use, speed, and accuracy. Therefore, this information system is effective in improving the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of managing report card and attendance data in Junior High Schools

Abstract

Children’s psychosocial development is inseparable from the cultural and ecological environments that structure their daily lives. This study investigates the psychosocial development of Orang Rimba children in the Kedundung Muda community of Jambi through a cultural psychology framework, arguing that culturally embedded practices remain central to understanding developmental trajectories in Indigenous contexts. Employing a descriptive qualitative design, the study integrates a literature review with secondary ethnographic analysis of caregiving norms, social organization, and cultural interaction within Orang Rimba society. The findings demonstrate that children’s psychosocial development is shaped not only by customary values, kinship relations, and ecological engagements but also by the community’s adaptive strategies in negotiating external pressures such as state policies, formal schooling, and forest ecological change. These pressures generate identity tensions, role ambiguities, and shifts in caregiving practices, revealing the fragility and resilience of Indigenous developmental systems under structural transformation. The study contends that culturally informed frameworks are indispensable for designing educational and social interventions that respect and sustain Indigenous lifeworlds.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the challenges of assessing spiritual intelligence in Islamic Religious Education, focusing on the gap between cognitive and affective-spiritual aspects. The research uses a qualitative case study approach through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that assessment practices are still dominated by cognitive methods such as written tests, memorization, and oral examinations, while aspects of attitude, worship, and character are difficult to measure objectively. As a result, students demonstrate sufficient religious knowledge but lack spiritual and moral maturity. The study recommends developing holistic assessment instruments, providing teacher training, and utilizing digital technology to support more balanced assessment of knowledge and spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

The misuse of Double L pills among adolescents poses a serious threat to public health, moral values, and the future of the younger generation, including in Ponorogo Regency. This research analyzes Court Decision No. 75/Pid.Sus/2025/PN Png using a normative juridical approach to examine the judges’ legal considerations in proving the elements of the criminal act, the application of Article 435 of Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health, and the imposition of sanctions on juvenile offenders from the perspectives of legal certainty, justice, and social utility. The study reveals that the panel of judges successfully proved all elements of the offense in a lawful and convincing manner, making the application of Article 435 appropriate and reflective of strong legal certainty. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months imprisonment, with the defendant’s young age and cooperative attitude considered as mitigating factors. Nevertheless, the aspects of substantive justice and utility, particularly regarding the guidance and rehabilitation of juvenile offenders, remain less than optimal. The research concludes that stronger collaboration among law enforcement agencies, local government, educational institutions, and the community is required through intensive legal education, early prevention, and recovery-oriented rehabilitation programs. Such measures will ensure that law enforcement is not merely retributive but also preventive and educative for the younger generation.

Abstract

This study examines the legal status of Bitcoin in Indonesia from the perspective of regulatory synchronization between regulatory institutions, namely Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti), and the Ministry of Trade. The study highlights Bitcoin's striking dual status: while Bank Indonesia expressly prohibits its use as a means of payment under Law No. 7 of 2011 concerning Currency to maintain the sovereignty of the Rupiah, the government, through Bappebti, recognizes Bitcoin as a digital commodity that can be legally traded on futures exchanges. This regulatory asymmetry among these institutions not only leads to overlapping authority but also creates significant legal uncertainty for digital asset market players, weakens consumer protection efforts, and opens up loopholes for potential abuses such as money laundering and terrorism financing. This study uses a normative legal method with a statutory approach to analyze the hierarchy of norms, a conceptual approach to clarify ambiguous terminology, and a comparative legal approach to map the best regulatory models from developed jurisdictions such as Japan and Singapore. The results show that Bitcoin regulation in Indonesia has not been harmonious due to the lack of binding cross-institutional legal norms. Despite significant changes with the transfer of digital asset oversight to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in January 2025, regulatory synchronization remains a challenge. The creation of a National Digital Asset Law as a lex specialis to integrate monetary, trade, and financial oversight functions, as well as the establishment of a coordinating body such as the National Crypto Regulatory Board (NCRB), is needed to create a unified digital asset legal system that adapts to technological developments.

Abstract

Family consumption patterns are an overview of how households meet their daily living needs based on the resources they have. Differences in consumption patterns between families are influenced by various factors, especially income levels and the number of family members. This also applies to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) family which generally has the characteristics of a relatively fixed income. Therefore, income and the number of family members are important variables in explaining the variation in consumption patterns of ASN families. This study aims to analyze the influence of income and the number of family members on the family consumption patterns of State Civil Apparatus (ASN). This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through a closed questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 65 ASN respondents who worked within the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bengkulu Province. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis supported by instrument validity and reliability tests, partial tests (t test), simultaneous tests (F tests), and determination coefficient analysis (R²). The results of the study showed that partially the income variable had a significant effect on the consumption pattern of ASN families with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which shows that income has an influence on consumption. Meanwhile, the number of family members had no significant effect on consumption patterns with a significance value of 0.915 > 0.05. However, simultaneously income and the number of family members have a significant effect on the consumption pattern of ASN families with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The determination coefficient value of 0.962 shows that 92.6% of the variation in the consumption pattern of ASN families can be explained by income and the number of family members. This research was analyzed using Talcott Parsons' functional structural theory, especially the concept of AGIL (Adaptation, Goal Attainment, Integration, and Latency). Income is seen as the family's main resource in carrying out the function of adapting to life needs, while consumption patterns reflect the family's efforts in achieving welfare, maintaining family integration, and maintaining financial values and management patterns. Thus, the consumption of ASN families is not only an economic activity, but also part of the social mechanism in maintaining family balance and stability as a social system.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of digitalization on civil servants’ work culture at the Class I Navigation District of Ambon, addressing a gap in the literature regarding the integration of New Public Governance (NPG) principles with technology adoption in geographically fragmented public institutions. The urgency of this research is underscored by the operational context of high-risk maritime environments, where effective service delivery is critical for safety and organizational reliability. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected over three months through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and document analysis with 15 purposively selected informants across generational and hierarchical groups. Triangulation ensured methodological rigor, while interactive data analysis allowed themes to emerge inductively and in alignment with theoretical frameworks. The study applies the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the ADKAR change model to interpret both psychological and procedural aspects of digital adoption. Findings indicate that digital systems, including AIS, MaritimHUB, E-Kinerja, SIK, SRIKANDI, E-Correspondence, SIMAN, and SAKTI, have significantly transformed operational and administrative work culture, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability. Top-down directives combined with structured training facilitate adoption, yet barriers such as uneven system use, digital literacy gaps, and infrastructure limitations remain. Aligning technological implementation with organizational change and collaborative governance principles is critical for sustaining effective digital transformation. The study recommends continuous capacity-building, infrastructure improvements, and integrated application management to strengthen digital work culture and service quality.
