Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of service at the Kapas Bojonegoro Community Health Center based on public criticism using the SERVQUAL approach, particularly in terms of responsiveness and empathy. Public criticism arising from digital reviews often highlights issues such as waiting times, service flow, and staff communication. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with accidental sampling techniques on 110 respondents who had received services at the Kapas Community Health Center General Clinic. The research instrument was a SERVQUAL questionnaire with a 1-5 Likert scale used to compare perceptions and expectations. The results showed that all items in the questionnaire were valid and reliable, with a Cronbach’s alpha value of 0.920 for perceptions and 0.798 for expectations. Gap analysis showed that the responsiveness aspect had a gap value of -0.39, meaning that the speed of service and clarity of information did not meet expectations. The empathy dimension obtained a gap value of 0.11, which means that the friendly attitude and attention of the staff were rated well by patients. The overall suitability level of 99% indicates that the service is close to patient expectations, although improvements are still needed in terms of waiting time. This study also shows that public criticism can be a useful source of information for continuously evaluating the quality of health center services.

Abstract

This study examines the extent to which profitability, leverage, and firm size contribute to changes in firm value, while also evaluating the role of asset growth as a moderating variable in this relationship. Using a quantitative positivist approach, data analysis used moderated regression (MRA), where data sources were obtained through documentation of financial statements and annual reports of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021-2024 period. Purposive sampling was used to select the sample in this study based on several predetermined criteria, resulting in the selection of 11 companies as the research sample. The test results found that firm value was positively and significantly influenced by profitability and firm size, while leverage showed no significant effect. Asset growth did not moderate the relationship between profitability and firm value, but was shown to strengthen the effect of leverage and weaken the effect of firm size on firm value. Practically, this confirms that efforts to increase firm value can be directed through profitability optimization and better asset management, so that business expansion can run efficiently and increase investor confidence.

Abstract

This study aims to design and determine the Fuzzy-PID control system for ship speed with a hybrid propulsion system. This system is designed to increase the efficiency of fuel use in Internal Combustion Engines, so it is expected to reduce exhaust emissions in the environment. The control system uses Fuzzy-PID control which aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Fuzzy-PID method on ships with hybrid propulsion systems. The design of this system involves the use of a pixhawk as a ship speed monitor, an STM32 microcontroller as a data processor, an ICE engine as a main engine, a BLDC motor as an auxiliary propulsion engine, a photodiode sensor as an RPM reader on the main engine and BLDC motor, and the Fuzzy-PID method as an error value processing. The results of the experiments conducted, experiments without control produced the largest error value compared to experiments with control, with an average error value of 30.4%, experiments with PID control produced an average error value of 30.2% and experiments with Fuzzy PID control optimization produced the smallest average error value of 22.4%. The lowest fuel consumption was found in the PID-controlled experiment, with the lowest consumption at 6.44 mL during the experiment with a setpoint speed of 4.87 knots.

Abstract

Indonesia is highly prone to earthquakes, and many post-disaster assistance houses in Bantul suffered structural degradation due to inadequate occupant maintenance. This study aims to analyze the effect of community awareness dimensions—knowledge, attitude, behavior, and social lifestyle—on household comfort through multiple linear regression. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted among 65 purposively and snowball sampled recipients of 2006 Bantul aid housing. Data were collected via a closed-ended questionnaire, validated by Pearson correlation (r > 0.175) and tested for reliability with Cronbach’s alpha (α ≥ 0.70). Classical assumptions (normality, multicollinearity, heteroskedasticity, autocorrelation) were satisfied before regression analysis. Results show that all awareness dimensions jointly explain 61.7% of comfort variance (F = 35.62; p < 0.001), with local context knowledge exerting the strongest positive influence (β = 0.41; p < 0.05). Technical maintenance variables, namely electrical and roof-load checks, had negative effects. In conclusion, enhancing technical literacy, fostering responsible attitudes, and strengthening community collaboration are essential to sustain structural function and comfort of seismic-resistant aid housing

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital promotion strategies in enhancing the cultural distinctiveness of Mamasa as a tourism destination. It specifically examines the role of digital media and electronic word-of-mouth (EWOM) in shaping tourists’ perceptions of cultural uniqueness. Using a qualitative approach with transcendental phenomenology, data were obtained through in depth interviews, digital ethnography, and documentation involving local tourism officials, destination managers, and tourists. Thematic analysis using NVivo 14 was applied within the EPIC (Empathy, Persuasion, Impact, Communication) framework. The results revealed six dominant themes: emotionally resonant local content enhances empathy; persuasive storytelling strengthens engagement; authentic digital narratives influence visitation intention; limited interactivity reduces communication effectiveness; strong perception of cultural distinctiveness heightens interest; and E-WOM amplifies credibility and promotional reach. The study concludes that effective cultural tourism promotion requires authentic, emotionally engaging, and participatory digital strategies supported by active two way communication. Strengthening collaboration between local governments, tourism managers, and communities is essential to optimize the strategic potential of digital media and E-WOM in reinforcing Mamasa’s cultural identity and tourism appeal.

Abstract

This qualitative study investigates the dynamics of collaborative waste management in Dumai City, Indonesia, utilizing the Triple Helix framework to analyze interactions between government, private sector, and community actors. Data collected through in-depth interviews with multiple stakeholders reveal significant challenges in waste governance, including irregular waste collection services, limited infrastructure, and inadequate public awareness of waste separation practices. Despite these obstacles, emerging initiatives demonstrate potential for improvement: community-led composting practices, private sector involvement through CSR programs and technology adoption (Masaro ITB system), and localized collaboration models. However, the study identifies critical barriers such as insufficient inter-agency coordination, cultural resistance to behavioral change, and underutilization of local knowledge. The research concludes that effective waste management in Dumai requires a more integrated approach that strengthens institutional frameworks, enhances community capacity building, and promotes technological innovation adapted to local contexts. These findings contribute to the broader discourse on sustainable waste governance in developing coastal cities and offer practical insights for policymakers seeking to implement collaborative environmental management strategies.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of inclusive education at Budi Mulia Sandika Primary School, Jakarta, highlighting supporting and inhibiting factors, strategies for raising public awareness, and its impact on student development. Qualitative research was conducted through structured interviews and unstructured observations of 21 participants (teachers, principals, parents, regular students, and students with special needs) during September–October 2025. The results show that the principal's transformative leadership, a caring school culture, and teacher enthusiasm support inclusion, while the lack of teacher training, limited facilities, low parental support, high number of students per class, and social stigma are obstacles. Inclusion improves students' social interaction and empathy, but the academic achievement of students with special needs remains stagnant. This study emphasises the need for continuous teacher training, flexible curricula, educational technology, disability-friendly infrastructure, parental and community involvement, effective public communication, and data-based monitoring and evaluation systems.
