Abstract

This research analyses the inhibiting factors and formulates strategies to improve the quality of education in inland Papua, known as the “Land of the Black Pearl”. Although the region is rich in natural resources, Papua still faces significant challenges in education access and quality compared to other regions in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with stakeholders, field observations and analyses of relevant documents. This research was conducted in school SD INPRES 40 Aimasi Papua Barat in May-June 2025, involving 8 teachers as participants. The results identified several key inhibiting factors, including limited infrastructure, a shortage and inequality of qualified educators, a curriculum that lacks relevance to the local context, extreme geographical challenges, and socio-cultural and economic factors of the local community. Based on these findings, the study proposes a comprehensive education quality improvement strategy. These strategies include developing adaptive infrastructure, increasing the capacity and equitable distribution of teachers, developing local wisdom-based curricula, utilising information and communication technology (ICT) for distance education, and strengthening the role of communities and local governments in supporting education. It is hoped that this research can make a real contribution to the formulation of more effective policies and intervention programmes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the professionalism and inhibiting factors of Civil Servants (PNS) in the Elementary School Development Division at the Education Office of South Buru Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using the interactive qualitative data analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study show that the level of professionalism of Civil Servants in the Elementary School Development Division is generally categorized as fairly good, but not yet optimal. The inhibiting factors of employee professionalism in the Elementary School Development Division are multidimensional and originate from both internal and structural aspects of the organization. These include uneven employee discipline, unbalanced technical competencies, employee work motivation, unequal workload distribution, and weak internal supervision.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality of service at the Kapas Bojonegoro Community Health Center based on public criticism using the SERVQUAL approach, particularly in terms of responsiveness and empathy. Public criticism arising from digital reviews often highlights issues such as waiting times, service flow, and staff communication. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with accidental sampling techniques on 110 respondents who had received services at the Kapas Community Health Center General Clinic. The research instrument was a SERVQUAL questionnaire with a 1-5 Likert scale used to compare perceptions and expectations. The results showed that all items in the questionnaire were valid and reliable, with a Cronbach’s alpha value of 0.920 for perceptions and 0.798 for expectations. Gap analysis showed that the responsiveness aspect had a gap value of -0.39, meaning that the speed of service and clarity of information did not meet expectations. The empathy dimension obtained a gap value of 0.11, which means that the friendly attitude and attention of the staff were rated well by patients. The overall suitability level of 99% indicates that the service is close to patient expectations, although improvements are still needed in terms of waiting time. This study also shows that public criticism can be a useful source of information for continuously evaluating the quality of health center services.

Abstract

This study examines the extent to which profitability, leverage, and firm size contribute to changes in firm value, while also evaluating the role of asset growth as a moderating variable in this relationship. Using a quantitative positivist approach, data analysis used moderated regression (MRA), where data sources were obtained through documentation of financial statements and annual reports of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021-2024 period. Purposive sampling was used to select the sample in this study based on several predetermined criteria, resulting in the selection of 11 companies as the research sample. The test results found that firm value was positively and significantly influenced by profitability and firm size, while leverage showed no significant effect. Asset growth did not moderate the relationship between profitability and firm value, but was shown to strengthen the effect of leverage and weaken the effect of firm size on firm value. Practically, this confirms that efforts to increase firm value can be directed through profitability optimization and better asset management, so that business expansion can run efficiently and increase investor confidence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh penggunaan media wordwall terhadap kemandirian siswa di SD Negeri Waung. Kemandirian siswa mencakup kemampuan untuk mengatur diri sendiri, membuat keputusan, dan bertanggung jawab tanpa bergantung pada orang lain. Menggunakan desain pre-ekperimental one-group pretest-postest, penelitian ini melibatkan 18 siswa kelas VI. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes (prestest dan postest), dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan signifikansi 0,000 (p <0,05) yang berarti ada perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan postest. Pengaruh wordwall terhadap kemandirian siswa tergolong besar dengan nilai eta-squared 0,90 yang mengindikasikan efek besar yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan inisiatif, tanggung jawab dan kemandirian siswa. Media wordwall menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan membantu mereka menjadi lebih mandiri dalam proses pembelajaran. Abstract

Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan penting yang perlu dikembangkan sejak pendidikan dasar, khususnya melalui pembelajaran seni rupa. Namun, rendahnya kreativitas menggambar siswa sering disebabkan oleh keterbatasan media visual yang menarik dan kurang mampu menstiulasi imajinasi. Media gmabr seri dipandang sebgai alternatif pembeljaran yang dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan ide secara runtut dan kreatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media gambar seri terhadap kemampuan kreativitas siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimental one group pretest dan posttest. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 siswa sekolah dasar dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian berupa LKPD berbasis indikator kreativitas menggambar. Analisis data dilakukan mellaui uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, serta perhitungan effect size menggunakan Partial Eta Squared. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan signifikan kreativitas menggambar siswa setelah penggunaan media gambar seri. Nilai signifikan 0,001 ( < 0,05) dan Partial Eta Squered sebesar 0,935 menunjukan pengaruh sangat besar, sehinggah media gambar seri efektif meningkatkan kemampuan kreatifitas siswa sekolah dasar.
