Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of accounting knowledge and business experience on the perception of accounting information use among micro and small business owners in Ulujadi District. Micro and small businesses play a vital role in the local economy, but often face challenges in effective financial management. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to micro and small business owners in the area. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to test the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable. The results indicate that both accounting knowledge and business experience have a positive and significant influence on the perception of accounting information use. This finding indicates that increased accounting understanding and accumulated entrepreneurial experience can encourage business owners to utilize accounting information more effectively in business decision-making. This study provides important implications for policymakers and training institutions in designing small business capacity-building programs.

Abstract

Mental health is influenced by the balance of psychological, emotional, and spiritual aspects. One emerging spiritual-based non-pharmacological intervention is the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT), a tapping technique on energy points accompanied by affirmations and prayers. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of SEFT on stress, anxiety, and depression. The method used was a systematic literature review of articles published between 2021 and 2025 in the Scopus and Google Scholar databases, with human populations and quantitative outcomes. The literature search was conducted using a combination of keywords in Indonesian (SEFT, stress, anxiety, depression, mental health) and English (SEFT, stress, anxiety, depression, mental health). Of the 16,712 identified articles, a selection process was conducted based on the 2020 PRISMA guidelines through the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Five articles met the inclusion criteria for review and critical analysis. The results showed that most studies reported significant reductions in stress, anxiety, and/or depression after the SEFT intervention, using instruments such as the DASS-21, HADS, and PSS. SEFT has the potential to be a non-pharmacological spiritual intervention to support psychological well-being and holistic nursing practice, although large-scale RCTs with more robust methodological designs are needed.

Abstract

Population administration services require speed, accuracy, transparency, and ease of access. This study analyzes the influence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service innovation, and employee professionalism on public satisfaction, with service accessibility as an intervening variable at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Medan City. The research design is a quantitative cross-sectional study using a survey of 96 respondents (Cochran's sample size determination technique). The analysis was conducted using PLS-SEM (SmartPLS). All indicators met convergent validity (outer loading ≥ 0.70) and reliability (Composite Reliability 0.935–0.961; AVE 0.705–0.830). The model had high explanatory power: R² accessibility = 0.864 and R² satisfaction = 0.837. Path testing results showed: SOP → accessibility was positive and significant (β=0.225; p=0.031), but SOP → satisfaction was not significant (β=−0.056; p=0.673); innovation → significant accessibility (β=0.544; p<0.001) and innovation → significant satisfaction (β=0.322; p=0.049); professionalism → significant accessibility (β=0.205; p=0.047) while professionalism → satisfaction was not significant (β=0.221; p=0.118); accessibility → significant satisfaction (β=0.460; p=0.041). The mediation test showed significant mediation in the path of innovation → accessibility → satisfaction (β=0.250; p=0.048), while the mediation of SOP and professionalism through accessibility was not significant. The findings confirm that improving accessibility—driven primarily by service innovation—is key to increasing public satisfaction. Practical implications recommend strengthening needs-based innovation (e.g., online queuing and tracking, mobile services), enforcing SOPs for process consistency, and monitoring digital performance to maintain service accountability.

Abstract

The urgency of this research necessitates prosecutors to implement restorative justice to minor crimes through the principle of dominus litis. It must be subject to clear limitations and parameters in the ius constituendum. The restorative justice approach aims to restore the condition of the victim, the perpetrator, and the community. The objective of this research is to achieve prosecutorial discretion through restorative justice. The research method used is empirical law. The data types used are primary data (primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials) and secondary data (literature studies and interviews). The North Maluku High Prosecutor's Office prioritizes restorative efforts in cases of assault. This mechanism involves the victim's family and the perpetrator's family. The number of cases in the jurisdiction of the High Prosecutor's Office in 2024 was 47 cases and 14 of them were resolved using restorative justice. This is in line with the provisions of Article 34A of Law Number 11 of 2021 concerning the Prosecutor's Office, which states that the principle of discretion regulated in Article 139 of Law Number 8 of 1981 concerning Criminal Procedure Law is carried out without ignoring the principle of law enforcement objectives which include achieving legal certainty, a sense of justice, and its benefits in accordance with the principles of restorative justice.

Abstract

This study examines the obstacles and challenges in the construction of the Kubu Raya Regency Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) building, which has not yet been realized. This phenomenon is interesting to study because the Kubu Raya Regency DPRD has been renting a building since 2007, and construction is still planned until 2025. The method applied uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies. In this study, it refers to Bratakusumah's development planning theory as guidance, which includes five indicators of the success of a development project, namely the Presence of Assumptions Based on Facts, the Presence of Alternatives or Choices as the Basis for Determining Activities to be Carried Out, and the Presence of Goals to be Achieved, Predictive in nature as a step to anticipate possibilities that may affect the implementation of development, there is also a policy as the result of a decision that must be implemented. Research results indicate that the cause is the lack of commitment from the Regent of Kubu Raya Regency. In addition, another factor that affects it is the absence of a budget to realize the construction of the building.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and buying interest on marketing performance mediated by purchasing decisions in MSMEs 4.0 in the food processing sector in Sidoarjo. An explanatory quantitative approach was used with a cross-sectional design, involving 296 respondents selected through proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire (1–5) adapted from standardized instruments, then analyzed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4.0. The results showed that product quality had a positive and significant effect on purchase interest and purchase decisions, while buying interest was proven to be a partial mediating variable between product quality and purchase decision. Purchasing decisions directly affect the marketing performance of MSMEs. Predictive analysis through PLSpredict confirms that the model has high predictive relevance to consumer behavior in the digital marketing era. These findings confirm that strengthening product quality, followed by a digital marketing strategy based on consumer interaction, is an important determinant in increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs 4.0 in the processed food sector. This research contributes to the empirical literature on technology-based marketing and provides strategic recommendations for the development of MSMEs in the digital economy era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of macro and micro fundamental factors on the financial performance and value of non-financial SOEs in Indonesia using panel data for the 2017–2022 period. The results of the estimation show that micro fundamental factors have a significant role in improving financial performance and company value, while macro fundamental factors do not have a significant influence on these two variables. These findings confirm that internal company dynamics such as operational efficiency, capital structure, and profitability capacity are more decisive than external macroeconomic conditions. This study also found that financial performance does not have a significant effect on company value and does not mediate the relationship between macro and micro fundamentals on the value of SOEs. These conditions indicate that the capital market assesses SOEs through a broader perspective, including institutional reputation, governance, long-term stability, and government support. These results make an important contribution to the public financial management literature and confirm the differences in market behavior towards SOEs compared to private companies. In addition, the findings of the study provide strategic implications for SOE management to strengthen internal capabilities and improve the quality of information disclosure to be more in line with investor expectations and market dynamics.

Abstract

This study examines the inconsistency of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)'s law enforcement in uncovering bribery within the government in nickel mining corruption cases. The cases addressed in this study still frequently occur within the government and are difficult to resolve due to the persistence of corruption. The current rampant cases of corruption are increasing, the perpetrators involve state officials as workers who are trusted by the public by committing abuses against applicable laws.Corruption that does not stop is like a cancer that is difficult to cure and corruption not only makes the country lose money, but also causes violations of citizens' social rights so that the crime of corruption is classified as an extraordinary crime for these reasons and circumstances.Inconsistent actions of law enforcement agencies in eradicating corruption who still selectively treat the perpetrators involved. The importance of consistent law enforcement in handling corruption cases to overcome corruption in Indonesia, but in fact, our law enforcement, one of which is the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), has not become a corruption eradication institution that carries out its duties properly. In the perspective of the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code, the KPK does not implement it properly as explained therein. The purpose of this study is to provide new insights to the public about inconsistent law enforcement in nickel mining licensing corruption which can be reviewed from the Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure and the negative impact of inconsistent law enforcement. The research method uses empirical normative which helps the preparation of research through interviews and legislation using qualitative methods producing descriptive analysis. The results of this study show the inconsistency of KPK law enforcement in the North Maluku nickel mining corruption and the negative impact of these inconsistent actions.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the rapid growth of Indonesia’s digital economy, marked by the emergence of financial technology (fintech) as a disruptive force in financial services. The research aims to analyze the influence of fintech, proxied by the number of ATMs, mobile banking transactions, and internet banking transactions, on bank profitability measured by Return on Assets (ROA) among banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2017–2023. Firm size and BOPO serve as control variables. A quantitative method with panel data regression was applied using EViews 13. The results show that the number of ATMs has a negative and significant effect on profitability, while mobile and internet banking transactions have positive and significant effects. Fintech enhances bank performance through cost efficiency, increased transaction volume, and non-interest income, with implications for future studies considering external factors.

Abstract

The Strengthening of Primary Healthcare in Indonesia (SOPHI) program is a Ministry of Health initiative to strengthen primary care and accelerate Universal Health Coverage by addressing shortages of medical equipment. Currently, only 61.07% of Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) meet the standard equipment set. Field evidence indicates targeting and duplication risks: 45% of sampled Puskesmas received equipment they had not requested, while 69% of requested items were already available—signaling a misalignment between planning and actual needs. This study aims to analyze SOPHI's policy implementation in need planning and distribution of equipment at primary facilities, and to identify factors shaping the accuracy and effectiveness of planning and to formulate policy recommendations. A qualitative, post-positivist approach was employed. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with purposively selected key informants (Ministry of Health, KPK, provincial/district health offices, and Puskesmas in DKI Jakarta, Garut, Jambi City, and Muaro Jambi). Secondary data comes from documents and literature reviews. Analysis followed George C. Edwards III's implementation framework—communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Findings show constraints rooted in: (1) incomplete and inconsistent central instructions and weak last-mile communication; (2) inaccurate needs data, limited human resources, and insufficient operational budgets for field verification; (3) opportunistic local dispositions (eg, “apply for everything”) and ASPAK data manipulation; and (4) fragmented authority and misaligned central–local structures that hinder coordination. Collectively, these factors result in mistargeting and procurement duplication. Recommendations include strengthening two-way, last-mile communication; enforcing ASPAK as a verified, tiered, single source of truth; investing in data stewardship capacity and verification budgets; fostering data integrity with clear incentives and sanctions; and realigning coordination channels (involving Kemendari, Irda, and Bappeda) to ensure integrated, needs-based provisioning.
