This study aims to analyze legal protection and legal certainty for medical personnel in the practice of health services in hospitals, by highlighting various regulations that regulate the rights and obligations of medical personnel, doctors, and hospitals in providing health services. Legal protection for medical personnel is regulated in Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health, especially in Article 273, which guarantees the right of medical personnel to obtain legal protection while acting in accordance with applicable professional standards and procedures. This article provides legal certainty for medical personnel to be able to carry out their duties with a sense of security and avoid unfounded legal threats, as long as medical actions are taken in accordance with the principles of professionalism and ethics. The rights and obligations of doctors to patients are regulated in various provisions in this law, with emphasis on Article 274 which regulates the obligation of doctors to provide safe, quality, and in accordance with applicable professional standards. Doctors are required to provide a clear and thorough explanation to the patient about the medical procedure to be performed and the potential risks, and obtain approval from the patient or his family before performing the medical procedure. This aims to ensure that patients make informed decisions and that there is no violation of the patient's right to bodily autonomy. Furthermore, the hospital's obligation to provide protection for medical personnel is regulated in Article 273 and Article 274. Hospitals as health service providers have the responsibility to create a safe working environment for medical personnel and provide protection from potential physical and legal threats that are not in accordance with existing regulations. Hospitals are also obliged to ensure that every medical action carried out by medical personnel is in accordance with the applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provides facilities to resolve medical disputes that may arise, either through mediation or appropriate legal processes. Through this study, it is hoped that it can be revealed how effective the legal protection provided to medical personnel in hospitals, as well as how hospitals' obligations are in supporting the sustainability of safe and professional medical practices. In addition, this study also aims to provide recommendations related to improvements in the legal protection system for medical personnel, in order to create better legal certainty in the practice of health services in hospitals

The fulfillment and legal protection of patients’ rights are essential components of safe and equitable healthcare services. This study aims to analyze the fulfillment of patients’ rights and the forms of legal protection in healthcare services at a regional public hospital in Indonesia. An empirical juridical method with a qualitative approach was employed, combining statutory analysis with field data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that patients’ rights have generally been fulfilled, particularly the rights to information, informed consent, privacy, and healthcare services in accordance with applicable standards. Preventive legal protection is implemented through the application of standard operating procedures, while repressive legal protection is carried out through complaint mechanisms and professional disciplinary enforcement. However, the effectiveness of legal protection is influenced by institutional commitment, the understanding of health workers regarding patients’ rights, and the accessibility of complaint mechanisms for patients. These findings provide an empirical overview of the implementation of legal protection for patients’ rights in public hospital healthcare services and may serve as a reference for improving governance and accountability in public healthcare institutions.

Informed consent is one of the fundamental aspects in medical practice, emphasizing the patient's right to give consent based on full understanding of the medical procedures they are about to undergo. The proper implementation of informed consent is crucial to safeguard the patient's rights and ensure that medical actions are performed ethically and professionally. The Health Law No. 17 of 2023 provides a clear legal foundation regarding the obligations of hospitals and medical personnel in carrying out informed consent. Article 56 of this Law states that "every medical professional conducting medical procedures must provide sufficient information to the patient to obtain written consent before performing the medical procedure." This regulation aims to protect the patient's rights and improve the quality of healthcare services in hospitals. This research aims to analyze the role of law in enhancing the quality of informed consent implementation in hospitals, referring to Health Law No. 17 of 2023. The research method used in this study is normative legal research with a descriptive-analytical approach. This approach is used to examine the regulations related to informed consent, as well as its implementation in medical practice in hospitals. The research findings indicate that although Health Law No. 17 of 2023 provides a strong legal foundation, the implementation of informed consent in hospitals still faces various challenges. The main obstacles identified include the lack of understanding by both patients and medical professionals regarding the correct procedures, as well as insufficient oversight in the implementation of this policy. This study recommends enhancing training for medical personnel and implementing stricter supervision of informed consent practices in hospitals. of your findings.

This study aims to analyze vegetable farming income and its contribution to household income in Gempol Hamlet, Pejaten Village, Kramatwatu Subdistrict, Serang Regency. The background of this study is based on the shift from rice to vegetable cultivation, which has a shorter growing cycle and the potential to increase household cash flow. The research method employs a quantitative approach with data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that vegetable farming makes a significant contribution to household income, despite facing relatively high production costs and market price fluctuations. Family support for vegetable farming is also evident in social, economic, and educational aspects. The policy implications of this study highlight the need for local government support in the form of providing production facilities, more stable market access, and farmer empowerment programs to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of vegetable farming. Thus, vegetable farming not only plays a role in improving the well-being of farming households but also supports rural economic development.

In the increasingly competitive healthcare sector, hospitals are required not only to provide high-quality medical services but also to implement effective marketing strategies. This study aims to analyze the influence of the 7P marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence) on outpatients’ revisit intention at dr. Agung Hospital, Bima City. A quantitative approach with a descriptive-verificative method was employed. The study involved 195 outpatients selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results show that the 7P marketing mix variables simultaneously have a significant effect on revisit intention, with a model contribution of 68.8% (R² = 0.688). Partially, price (p = 0.004), people (p = 0.000), and physical evidence (p = 0.007) have a significant positive influence on revisit intention. Among these, people emerged as the most dominant factor, indicating that the quality of human resources covering attitudes, service delivery, friendliness, and the competence of healthcare staff is the key determinant of patients’ intention to return for treatment at dr. Agung Hospital.

The Emergency Department (ED) is a critical hospital unit that requires fast, accurate, and high-quality services due to its direct involvement in emergency patient care. Patient satisfaction in the ED is influenced by the quality of services provided as well as the workload borne by medical staff. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and medical staff workload on patient satisfaction at the Emergency Department of Kasih Ibu Hospital Surakarta, both partially and simultaneously. This research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. The study population consists of patients treated in the Emergency Department, with samples selected based on predetermined criteria. Data were collected using questionnaires measuring service quality dimensions (tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy), medical staff workload, and patient satisfaction. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction, medical staff workload has a negative effect on patient satisfaction, and both service quality and workload simultaneously have a significant effect on patient satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of improving service quality and managing medical staff workload effectively to enhance patient satisfaction in the Emergency Department.

This study aims to analyze the effect of hospital facilities, nursing services, and patient satisfaction on outpatient revisit intention at Demang Sepulau Raya Regional General Hospital, Central Lampung Regency. The research focuses on understanding outpatient behavior in deciding to reuse healthcare services as an indicator of service quality performance in regional hospitals. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving ninety-one outpatient respondents from the general clinic. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS software after fulfilling the required statistical assumptions. All research instruments were declared valid and reliable, indicating their suitability for further analysis. The results show that hospital facilities and nursing services play an important role in shaping patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction subsequently becomes the most decisive factor influencing outpatient revisit intention. Both partially and simultaneously, hospital facilities, nursing services, and patient satisfaction are interrelated and significantly influence patients’ decisions to return to the same hospital. These findings confirm that positive service experiences not only affect patient perceptions but also contribute to the development of long-term patient loyalty. This study recommends that regional hospital management continuously improve the quality of facilities and strengthen nurses’ competencies and service attitudes in a sustainable manner. Such efforts are expected to maintain patient satisfaction and consistently encourage outpatient revisit intentions.

This study is motivated by the growth of experience-based tourism in the Kintamani area and the increasing competition among coffee shops, which necessitates the implementation of effective marketing strategies. The research problem focuses on how segmentation, targeting, and positioning are applied by Akasa Specialty Coffee as a tourist attraction. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the marketing strategy of Akasa Specialty Coffee based on the Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning (STP) approach. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with the study conducted at Akasa Specialty Coffee, located in Batur Tengah Village, Kintamani. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with management and tourists, documentation, and literature review. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, and data were analyzed descriptively and interpretatively to understand tourist characteristics and the implementation of marketing strategies. The findings indicate that market segmentation is dominated by productive-age tourists who are experience-oriented, with visitation patterns primarily as a stopover during travel. The targeting strategy applied is selective specialization, aiming at multiple segments simultaneously; however, it has not yet demonstrated a clear focus on the most potential primary segment. The positioning of Akasa Specialty Coffee as an experience-based specialty coffee destination has been established; however, in tourists’ perceptions, the attraction of natural scenery remains more prominent than its identity as a specialty coffee destination. This study concludes that the STP-based marketing strategy has been implemented but is not yet optimal in strengthening differentiation and consistency of experience. Therefore, it is necessary to refine priority segmentation and reinforce experience-based coffee positioning to enhance competitiveness as a tourist attraction. This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and medical staff attitudes on the satisfaction level of BPJS outpatient patients at RSUD Bumiayu, Brebes Regency. The research background is based on the existence of patient complaints regarding service quality and medical staff attitudes, which are perceived as suboptimal. The study employed a quantitative method with descriptive and verificative approaches. Primary data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to 281 BPJS outpatient respondents, while secondary data were collected from hospital records. Service quality variables were measured using the five SERVQUAL dimensions (tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy), while medical staff attitudes were assessed through three dimensions (cognitive, affective, behavioral). Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that both service quality and medical staff attitudes significantly influence patient satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously. These findings highlight the importance of improving service quality and fostering positive medical staff attitudes to enhance BPJS outpatient satisfaction at RSUD Bumiayu.
