Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has significantly impacted the field of education, including science learning (IPA) at the elementary school level. Science plays a vital role in shaping students’ scientific understanding, critical thinking skills, and environmental awareness. However, traditional teaching methods still face various challenges, particularly for upper-grade elementary students, such as low learning interest, limited media, and diverse learning styles. This study aims to analyze the learning needs and design a personalized mobile learning application based on Android to support more effective and engaging science education. The research adopts a software engineering approach, involving stages of needs analysis, user interface design, and feature development tailored to students’ cognitive levels and learning preferences. The proposed application offers interactive materials, adaptive quizzes, and automatic feedback to promote self-directed learning. The analysis indicates that a personalized mobile learning platform can significantly enhance students’ motivation and comprehension in science subjects. Therefore, integrating IPA learning with mobile technology presents a promising solution to foster adaptive, flexible, and modern science education for elementary school students.

Abstract

This research aims to formulate a systematic administrative sanction enforcement model to optimize the implementation of Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2018 concerning Waste Management in Kolaka Regency. The background of the problem is based on the high volume of waste which is disproportionate to the effectiveness of law enforcement, creating a significant gap between written policy (das sollen) and reality in the field (das sein). The urgency of this study is crucial given the fact that since the regulation was enacted in 2018, not a single violation has been sanctioned, causing the regulation to lose its deterrent effect and become merely a passive document. This research employs a normative-empirical juridical approach, combining legal document analysis with field data through in-depth interviews with the community and stakeholders. The novelty of the research lies in offering a concrete solution in the form of a tiered and cumulative sanction mechanism design (punitive-reparatoire) that goes beyond previous conventional evaluative studies. The results indicate that the current ineffectiveness of enforcement is caused by the absence of clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), limited human resources, and weak inter-agency coordination. In conclusion, the formalization of a systematic administrative sanction enforcement SOP is absolutely necessary to ensure legal certainty, increase public compliance, and achieve sustainable environmental governance.

Abstract

Ensuring operational efficiency in the heavy equipment rental business requires a precise alignment between equipment availability and workforce capacity, particularly for concrete pump technicians operating across demanding project sites. This study addresses the empirical gap in technician staffing adequacy by applying Workload Analysis (WLA) and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) within a heavy equipment rental company. Activity data from five technicians were collected through structured interviews and verified through layered validation involving HRD judgment, managerial review, and company work reports. The analysis produced a total annual workload of 6,221.25 hours, equivalent to 3.31 FTE, quantifying an overstaffing condition in which individual FTE values ranged from 0.60 to 0.71, all classified as underload. Scenario analysis further demonstrated that a staffing level of three technicians yields an FTE of 1.10, the only configuration falling within the normal workload range. These findings extend the application of WLA and FTE to concrete pump maintenance in heavy equipment rental, a context that remains limited in prior workforce planning literature, and demonstrate the value of multi-layered data validation in improving the accuracy of workforce requirement assessments.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of fiber composition and filler type on drainage behavior in papermaking and its relationship with forming dewatering and paper properties. The furnish consisted of Short Fiber (SF), Long Fiber (LF), and Bleached Chemi-Thermomechanical Pulp (BCTMP), while fillers included Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC) and Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) at various ratios. Drainage time (s/500 mL) was used as a laboratory indicator and correlated with forming dewatering performance. Results show that increasing BCTMP proportion accelerates drainage, indicated by shorter drainage times and lower forming dewatering values, reflecting faster water removal and a drier web. The fastest drainage time was 15.68 s/500 mL under PCC-dominated conditions (85%). In contrast, increasing LF from 10% to 30% increases flow resistance, resulting in longer drainage times (up to 20.8 s/500 mL) and higher forming dewatering values, indicating slower dewatering and a wetter web. Filler type significantly influences drainage behavior. Higher GCC content, due to its finer particles, increases flow resistance through pore blocking, leading to higher forming dewatering values. Conversely, PCC promotes more stable permeability and faster dewatering. In terms of paper properties, higher BCTMP increases bulk and thickness while slightly reducing density, whereas LF improves strength, with internal bond increasing from 235 to 309 J/m² and tensile strength reaching 4.35 N. These results confirm that furnish composition is critical in balancing dewatering rate and web moisture, which is essential for stable machine operation and consistent paper quality.

Abstract

Griya Yatim and Dhuafa Al-Falah Rancaekek Orphanage is a social institution engaged in the care, education, and mentoring of orphans and underprivileged children. In sup- porting the sustainability of these activities, the role of donors is very important, both in the form of financial contributions and direct participation in orphanage activities. However, the process of scheduling donor visits is still carried out manually, which of- ten leads to problems such as irregular schedules, time conflicts, and suboptimal re- cording of attendance data. Therefore, a solution is needed in the form of designing a User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) for a web-based donor visit scheduling application that is easy to use and aligned with user needs. The purpose of this study is to design the UI/UX of a donor visit scheduling application to improve usability and ef- ficiency in data management. The method used is Human Centered Design (HCD), which focuses on user needs and experiences, with stages consisting of inspiration, ide- ation, and implementation. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and literature studies to understand user needs and the existing system workflow. The result of this study is a UI/UX design of a web-based donor visit scheduling application that includes interface design and user interaction flows, such as donor data manage- ment, visit scheduling, schedule notifications, and attendance reports. This design is ex- pected to provide a better user experience and assist orphanage administrators in man- aging donor attendance more effectively, systematically, and efficiently.

Abstract

The dissolution of a Limited Liability Company (PT) without undergoing proper liquidation procedures constitutes an abuse of legal entity status that is detrimental to creditors. This practice is often employed as a means to evade contractual obligations, which normatively contradicts the principles of good corporate governance. This study aims to examine the limits of liability of corporate organs in the liquidation process and to analyze the relevance of the Piercing the Corporate Veil (PTCV) doctrine as an extraordinary legal remedy for creditors. The research method used is normative juridical with a descriptive-analytical specification. The primary data sources include Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies and its implementing regulations within the SABH system of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The findings indicate that the dissolution of a company without the settlement of debts constitutes an ultra vires act that nullifies the protection of limited liability. The PTCV doctrine allows judges to disregard the company’s legal entity status and impose joint and several liability on Directors or Shareholders personally if elements of bad faith are proven. This study underscores the urgency of synchronizing the electronic registration system with liquidation oversight mechanisms to minimize the unilateral and irresponsible removal of legal entity status.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of railway services in Lampung on the Tanjung Karang–Kotabumi route from the users’ perspective using a quantitative survey-based approach. The research focuses on Rajabasa (economy class) and Kuala Stabas (premium class) train services. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and secondary sources using an accidental simple random sampling technique. The variables include traveler characteristics, travel characteristics, and transportation system facilities. Data validity and reliability were tested before being analyzed using the Classification and Regression Tree (CART) method. The results indicate that service effectiveness is strongly influenced by the quality of interaction between staff and passengers as well as the condition of physical carriage facilities. Staff attributes emerge as the most dominant factor with the highest satisfaction scores, while management aspects remain the primary weakness. Differences in facility quality between premium and economy classes and accessibility issues in premium services were also identified. The CART model reveals that integrated operational and service quality is the key determinant, with staff attributes as the strongest predictor. The optimal model was obtained at a 1.5 threshold with high accuracy.

Abstract

This study reviews and synthesizes the literature on consumer adoption of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) to construct a proposed comprehensive conceptual framework. Although previous research has identified multiple determinants of BEV adoption, findings remain fragmented across psychological, economic, technological, policy, and social domains, limiting a comprehensive understanding. To address this gap, this study employs a bibliometric-assisted systematic literature review, following PRISMA-2020 and SPAR-4-SLR guidelines, covering Scopus-indexed publications from 2015 to 2025. A total of 198 studies were analyzed. The findings show that most studies on BEV still focus on adoption intentions and factor-based approaches, while studies on actual adoption behavior and post-adoption phases remain limited. Bibliometric mapping identifies strong thematic clusters, but the relationships between domains are still weak, indicating the need for a more process-oriented explanatory approach. Therefore, this study developed a proposed conceptual framework that conceptualizes BEV adoption as a gradual decision-making process. The framework integrates perceived technological attributes, value and risk evaluations, attitudes, intentions, and actual adoption, with policy and social contexts acting as moderating factors. Overall, this research contributes by shifting the focus from intention-based perspectives to a cross-domain, process-oriented understanding, offering a foundation for future empirical studies and policy development
