Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) di Desa Lempangang, Kecamatan Bajeng, Kabupaten Gowa, bertujuan untuk mengatasi tingginya biaya operasional pompa berbahan bakar fosil, rendahnya efisiensi irigasi, dan terbatasnya akses pasar bagi petani. Program ini menerapkan sistem irigasi bertenaga surya, memberikan pelatihan pengoperasian dan pemeliharaan teknologi, memperkenalkan platform pemasaran digital, dan melakukan pemantauan kinerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pompa bertenaga surya mengurangi biaya operasional hingga 50% dan meningkatkan efisiensi air hingga 30%. Petani mitra menjadi lebih mandiri dalam mengelola teknologi dan memperluas jangkauan pasar mereka melalui strategi digital. Manfaat sosial-ekonomi meliputi peningkatan produktivitas, pendapatan yang lebih tinggi, dan kesadaran yang lebih besar terhadap praktik pertanian berkelanjutan. Program ini mendukung Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (TPB) terkait pengentasan kemiskinan, ketahanan pangan, energi bersih, dan aksi iklim. Luaran meliputi publikasi ilmiah, paparan media, materi audiovisual, dan peningkatan kapasitas petani. Program ini berfungsi sebagai model yang dapat direplikasi untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis energi terbarukan dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The low level of self-confidence among students remains a common issue found in many schools, including those in Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi. A lack of courage to perform, limited initiative, and awkwardness in social interactions are problems that negatively affect the learning process and academic achievement. This community service program aims to enhance students’ self-confidence through theater training using the role-play method. The implementation of the program consisted of several stages, including socialization, delivery of basic theater material, role-play technique training, performance mentoring, and evaluation. The results showed an increase in students’ courage in speaking, performing in public, collaborating, and expressing ideas. The program also opened opportunities for the establishment of a theater extracurricular activity as a sustainable platform for developing students’ character.

Abstract

The potential of women is often overlooked, and even the empowerment of women's abilities is very limited. Pemepek Village, the location of the UIN Mataram Participatory Field Study (KKP), is one of the villages that is striving to implement the Women-Friendly Village program. This activity was held in the hall of the Pemepek village office in Central Lombok with participants consisting of PKK mothers and junior high and high school students as well as teenagers in the village of Pemepek. The method used in this community service activity was the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which consists of 3 stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. In the preparation stage, problem identification activities were carried out by mapping the targets, coordinating with partners, and preparing tools and materials. In the implementation stage, material delivery, discussions, and question and answer sessions were carried out. The evaluation stage involved administering comprehension tests to evaluate participants' understanding of women's empowerment and children's education. The result of this activity was the successful delivery of material related to women's protection and children's education, with participants' comprehension evaluated as very good. This activity received a positive response from participants and is expected to be one of the steps taken by the village government to create a women and child-friendly village.

Abstract

Guel Dance, a traditional art of the Gayo community in Aceh Tengah, embodies moral, spiritual, and social values through symbolic movements. In recent decades, the number of practitioners has declined, and the oral transmission process has led to the gradual loss of movement authenticity. The Depik Art Dance and Music Studio in Takengon continues to preserve this heritage but faces limitations in digital documentation and the absence of structured educational media. This community service activity aimed to enhance participants’ understanding, technical ability, and awareness of digital choreography documentation as a strategy for cultural preservation. The program was conducted on October 21-22, 2025, at the Depik Art Studio in Takengon, involving 23 community members. The implementation method combined preparation, socialization, practical training, and evaluation. Participants learned techniques for video recording, choreography metadata organization, and basic editing to produce educational dance videos. Evaluation through pre-test and post-test instruments measured the improvement in comprehension and technical competence. The results indicated an average knowledge increase of 49%, reflected in improved understanding of digital preservation and recording methods. Participants successfully produced three short educational documentaries and established a small internal documentation team. The activity also strengthened collective pride and collaboration within the Gayo artistic community. In conclusion, this program demonstrated that participatory and contextual digital training effectively supports cultural sustainability. The model offers a replicable framework for empowering local communities to preserve traditional performing arts through accessible digital archiving practices.

Abstract

The intent of this community service activity (CSA) is to improve the understanding of 12th-grade senior high school students on the concept of metabolism in biology subjects by integrating knowledge of reaction rates from mathematics or chemistry subjects. So far, students often have difficulty in interpreting changes in the speed of biological processes, such as enzyme activity or cellular respiration, which can basically be modeled and analyzed using the principle of reaction rates. This CSA activity was carried out in the form of structured tutoring (Bimbel) in senior high schools in Wajo Regency. The methods used include (1) delivery of integrated material that explains the relationship between biological variables (e.g., substrate concentration, temperature) and reaction rate variables (e.g., initial rate); (2) analysis of existing biology experimental data, where students are trained to calculate and plot reaction rate graphs from enzyme activity rate data; and (3) interactive discussions to solve problems based on applications in the context of metabolism. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in students' abilities in (1) identifying and modeling the relationship between factors that influence metabolism with reaction rate equations, (2) interpreting enzyme activity and cellular respiration graphs quantitatively, and (3) connecting enzyme reaction kinetics curves with reaction rate curves (mathematics). The positive impact of this CSA is the creation of a deeper and more holistic understanding of biology, especially metabolism, through a quantitative approach. Therefore, it is concluded that tutoring that integrates the concept of reaction rate is very effective in bridging the gap in students' understanding of high school metabolic processes. This collaborative learning model is recommended to be implemented sustainably to strengthen students' numeracy and scientific literacy.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to revitalize and implement Geogram (Geometry Tangram) as an innovative learning medium to address the difficulties faced by students at SMAN 2 Tarakan in visualizing and internalizing geometry concepts. The method employed was Participatory Action Research (PAR), involving teachers and 32 students. The main stages included Needs Assessment via Focus Group Discussions (FGD), the Revitalization of Geogram (which resulted in the Geogram media and a comprehensive guide book), and the Implementation Phase utilizing hands-on, Geogram-based expeditions. The activity results demonstrated a significant impact. Quantitatively, 92% of the students reported that learning geometry became easier and more enjoyable after using Geogram. Qualitatively, the program successfully fostered a supportive and innovative learning climate. The hands-on approach proved effective in overcoming conceptual difficulties, as students showed a much better understanding of the difference between rotation and reflection following the practical sessions. The success of the program was cemented by SMAN 2 Tarakan’s formal commitment to permanently integrate Geogram into its learning media bank. This signifies the achievement of the objective for Science and Technology transfer and positions the program as a model of best practice in enhancing spatial and geometrical literacy. Geogram proved itself to be an effective instrument for bridging the gap between abstract visual representation and robust conceptual understanding.

Abstract

A deep learning understanding is essential for Guidance and Counseling (Bimbingan Konseling, BK) teachers to support their duties in optimally supporting student development. Adapting deep learning in providing BK services is expected to make BK services more meaningful, enjoyable, and support student engagement. The complexity of problems faced by students requires BK teachers to update their knowledge and skills. Through this partnership program, BK teachers will gain a new understanding related to deep learning and its application in BK. This activity consists of several stages, namely: activity socialization, implementation stage, independent projects, and evaluation and follow-up activities. This Community Service (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, PkM) activity/program aims to improve the understanding and ability of BK teachers in implementing a deep learning approach in BK services, especially for members of the Guidance and Counseling Teachers’ Council (Musyawarah Guru BK, MGBK) at the senior high school level in Demak Regency. This training covers three main topics: the characteristics of Generation Z and their learning styles, the concept of deep learning in learning, and the implementation of deep learning in BK services. The activity method included material delivery, discussion, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the average score for general understanding and the application of deep learning. Participants also expressed high enthusiasm for this approach and hoped for further training. The activity concluded that the deep learning approach is highly relevant for implementation in guidance and counseling services, addressing the reflective and collaborative thinking needs of Generation Z students.

Abstract

Most PAUD services in Samarinda City are not yet comprehensive; many focus solely on education and health without integrating nutrition, caregiving, and child protection aspects. Limited teacher knowledge and lack of institutional partnerships remain major challenges. This community service aimed to provide understanding and reinforcement related to implementing Holistic Integrative PAUD (PAUD HI) to enhance service quality. The activity was conducted through a hybrid seminar in January 2025 involving 148 participants (teachers, principals, foundation managers, and early childhood education practitioners). Results indicated improved participants’ understanding of the PAUD HI concept, the urgency of multisector partnerships, and practical implementation strategies. Discussions identified four key issues: limited human and financial resources, need for strategic partnerships, success indicators of PAUD HI, and parent-community involvement. In conclusion, this program strengthened educator capacity and promoted  cross-sector collaboration to realize quality early childhood education.

Abstract

This activity is designed to provide support to high school students in overcoming challenges related to self-identity in this day and age. The goal is to give them a deeper insight into themselves, which includes their strengths, weaknesses, and potentials, so that they are able to make wiser decisions regarding their future education and career. The method applied was an interactive socialization with the theme “Learning About Yourself” held at SMA Negeri 2 Playen, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. This activity involved 50 students who were divided into three groups: class X, XI, and XII. Each group received materials as well as practical sessions focusing on self-reflection and potential mapping techniques. The results of this activity showed that all participants from the three groups-grade X, XI, and XII-showed a marked improvement in their self-understanding. Around 50 students actively participated in the discussion and practice sessions. The main benefit gained was increased self-awareness, which helped students to more clearly recognize their interests and talents. This is very helpful in determining the most suitable educational path and career choice for them. In conclusion, this activity proved that intervention through planned socialization is effective in increasing students' self-awareness. Abstract

The development of social media has presented new opportunities for Islamic da'wah practices in the digital era, particularly in empowering women's associations as agents of strengthening religious values ​​at the village level. This community service activity aims to optimize the use of social media as a means of digital da'wah through creative training in the creation and dissemination of relevant and contextual religious content. The activity was carried out using a participatory approach through training and mentoring for women from the Caring Wives Association in Mekarjaya Village, Indramayu Regency, with data collected through observation, interviews, and post-training skills evaluation. The results of the activity showed significant improvements in digital literacy, self-confidence, and the active role of participants in producing and disseminating communicative and educational da'wah messages. Social media not only functions as a means of disseminating religious messages but also serves as a space for interaction that strengthens social solidarity and community religious awareness. These findings confirm that digital da'wah based on ongoing training and mentoring is an effective and adaptive strategy in building an inclusive, participatory religious community that is relevant to the dynamics of society in the digital era.
