Abstract

This study aims to I Know the learning outcomes and the level of student activity in learning to write descriptions at SDN Tlogosari Kulon 02 before implementing Think Pair Share 2 Knowing the learning outcomes and the level of student activity in learning to write descriptions at SDN Tlogosari Kulon 02 after implementing Think Pair Share. This research method uses classroom action research, research subjects are 28 students of SDN Tlogosari Kulon 02 Year 2022/2023. The object of this research is the ability to write descriptions of students in grade 2 semester 1 of SDN Tlogosan Kulon 02. Data on the ability to write descriptions were collected through objective tests which were analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results showed that the application of the Think Pair Share learning method could improve student learning outcomes and activeness in writing descriptions. In the initial reflection, the average percentage of learning outcomes at the beginning was 58.92% in the poor category, while the average percentage of students' activeness in writing descriptions only reached 60.77%. After the first cycle, the learning outcomes of writing descriptions averaged 73.21% with enough category, and the average percentage of students' activeness in writing descriptions showed an increase of 76.48% And at the end of cycle 2 learning outcomes writing descriptions the average percentage reaches 90.53% with good categories, and the average activeness in writing student descriptions reaches 80.77%.

Abstract

Mathematics is a general subject in Group A as a curricular program that develops attitudinal competence, knowledge competence and skill competence of students as a basis for and strengthening abilities in social, national and state life. It is said that the results of the daily mathematics assessment of students are still many who have not achieved completeness. Learning activities at SD Negeri 2 Pasigitan for grade 3 students are still classical. Teachers often use lecture and assignment methods, the teacher's learning model is less varied and does not activate students in learning activities. Teachers also have not empowered learning media that can help students understand the learning material. The research aims: (1) To find out the process of implementing the cooperative learning model with the help of image media in increasing student learning activities in Mathematics lessons on comparing fractions (2) To find out how much student learning outcomes have increased through the application of the cooperative learning model with the help of image media in lessons Mathematics material comparing fractions for Class III SDN 2 Pasigitan Semester 2 Academic Year 2021/2022. Researchers use a cooperative learning model with the help of image media. The learning process includes three cycles with planning, action, observation and reflection stages. Data collection uses tests and non-tests. Tools for collecting data include observation sheets, teacher notes, and photo documentation. Data analysis techniques include quantitative techniques and qualitative techniques. The research results show that the application of the cooperative learning model with the help of image media can increase the learning activity of comparing fractions in class III of SDN 02 Pasigitan, second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year from inactive to more active and creative. After comparing fractions through a cooperative learning model with the help of image media for class III students at SDN 02 Pasigitan semester 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year, learning outcomes increased from 58.8% to 82.35%, achieving completion above 82.75%. As elementary school teachers, you should have a high level of commitment in carrying out your duties by carrying out your main tasks professionally, reviewing and implementing various learning innovations in an effort to improve student learning outcomes with learning models and media. School Principals and School Supervisors should intensify their role as supervisors so that teachers are more orderly in administration and increase their competence through coaching.

Abstract

The background to this research is the results of the administrative supervision assessment at the initial stage in December, Semester I of the 2021/2022 academic year. From 16 teachers, the following data was obtained: 1 teacher (6%) with good grades, 2 teachers (12.5%) with a sufficient score and 13 people (81.5%) with a poor score and an average administration score of less. This research was conducted in two cycles. In each cycle there are different ways of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The research subjects are teachers. The researcher/principal carries out administrative supervision, while the Tlogosari Wetan 02 State Elementary School teacher is both the object and subject in providing administrative supervision. The data collection technique is through class supervision with the stages of supervising teachers in the learning process and observing learning in class, to record important events related to research, especially during the learning process and when the teacher is on break/not teaching. The results of the research show that based on the assessment of teacher administrative supervision above in cycle I, 2 people (12.5%) got a very good score, 7 people (43.75%) got a good score, 7 people (43.75%) got a a sufficient score, and 0 people (0%) got a poor score, or no one got a poor score, with an average of 62.6 (sufficient), so it was necessary to continue to cycle II. Based on the assessment of the teacher's administrative supervision above in cycle II there was an improvement so that the following scores were obtained: 6 people (37.5%) got a very good score, 9 people (56.25%) got a good score, 1 person (6.25%) got a good score %) got sufficient marks, and none (0%) got less marks. So that 9 people got good scores and 6 people got very good marks to 15 people (93.75%) which has exceeded the 70% requirement set, so it can be concluded that administrative supervision can improve teacher administration at SD Negeri Tlogosari Wetan 02, Semester II of 2021 / 2022 lessons, Korsatpen Pedurungan District, Semarang City.

Abstract

From the results of observations on the learning process in class VII A of SMP Negeri 25 Semarang, it shows that the interaction between teachers and students when learning takes place in the classroom tends to be one way. So the learning process is not optimal. In this regard, it is not surprising that learning outcomes to date are still far from what we expected. This is because children are still less active in receiving lessons, many are still hesitant in asking questions, are still shy when answering questions asked by the teacher, there are even some students who play around while the teacher is explaining. Student activity low levels also have an impact on learning outcomes, especially in the material of writing rhymes in Indonesian language subjects. This is because teachers have not found the right methods and approaches. Teachers more often use lecture methods and teacher-centered learning, so that students are less actively involved. As a result, students are passive in learning and the learning atmosphere becomes boring. One effort to solve the problem above is by applying popular song media. In this learning, students experience for themselves what they learn through discussion and group work so that it is hoped that their active role and student learning outcomes can improve. Therefore, this research focuses on improving students' learning process in rhyme writing material. This research is classroom action research carried out in class VII A of SMP Negeri 25 Semarang for the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 32 students. The implementation of this classroom action consists of two cycles, each cycle includes four stages, namely: (1) planning (planning), (2) implementation (acting), (3) observation (observing), (4) reflection (reflecting) The results of the research show that there are quite significant change. The learning atmosphere is conducive, interesting and fun. Student activity, enthusiasm, enthusiasm and creativity increase. Students' ability to write rhymes increases. Students who obtained good category scores (75-84) from cycle 1, 7 children (15.63%) became 17 children (53.3%) in cycle 2. Based on the research results achieved, it can be concluded that the application of contextual learning and The use of popular song media for class VII A students can increase students' activeness and learning outcomes in writing rhymes.

Abstract

The average teacher still uses simple media, only using whiteboards and pictures taken from the internet in the learning process. On average, teachers are less creative in creating or utilizing this effective learning media. In response to this, teachers need to receive supervision on how to develop and be creative in using learning media creatively so that learning can be understood and enjoyable for students. Principals need to provide supervision, one of which is by using individual meeting techniques with teachers on a regular basis so that each teacher can have creativity. in developing and using learning media in any circumstances. This study is intended to answer the problem of implementing supervision using individual meeting techniques to increase teacher creativity in creating and utilizing learning media at SD Kembang Arum 02 Semarang City for the 2023/2024 academic year?. These problems were discussed through school action research which was carried out in 2 cycles with each cycle's stages being planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the research show that the implementation of supervision using individual meeting techniques increases teacher creativity in creating and utilizing learning media at SD Kembang Arum 02 Semarang City for the 2023/2024 academic year. This can be seen from the increase in teacher creativity in creating learning media per cycle where in cycle I there were 11 teachers or 69% and in cycle II there were 15 teachers or 94%. These results show that the results are as expected. An increase also occurred in teacher creativity in using learning media, where in cycle I there were 6 teachers or 38% and in cycle II there were 16 teachers or 100%. This increase makes the implementation of supervision using individual meeting techniques an effective way for school principals to increase teacher creativity in creating and utilizing learning media.

Abstract

The ability of teachers in compiling learning tools is still low. The difficulties experienced by teachers in compiling learning tools can be identified as several weaknesses, including: the lack of complete learning tools prepared by teachers, teachers not routinely preparing lesson plans, the learning carried out by teachers is not in accordance with the RPP. When preparing the syllabus and lesson plans, some teachers only copy paste from friends or the internet and only compile learning tools when they are being supervised by the principal. This is where the principal's supervision of teachers at SDN Tugurejo 02 Kota is important. The role of the school principal is very important in creating quality teachers, one of which can be done using panel discussion techniques. Through panel discussion techniques, teachers will be able to solve problems and exchange ideas to get solutions to the learning problems they are facing, especially the problem of preparing learning tools. This study is intended to answer the problem: can supervision using panel discussion techniques improve teachers' abilities in compiling learning tools at SDN Tugurejo 02 Semarang City for the 2023/2024 academic year? This problem was discussed through classroom action research which was carried out in 2 cycles with each cycle's stages being planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the research show that the implementation of supervision using panel discussion techniques can improve the ability of teachers at SDN Tugurejo 02 Semarang City for the 2023/2024 academic year in compiling learning tools. This can be seen from the increase in the results of teachers' abilities in compiling learning tools per cycle where in cycle I there were 6 teachers or 76% and in cycle II there were 8 teachers or 100%. These results show that the results are as expected. An increase also occurred in teacher activity in participating in panel discussions where in cycle I there were 5 teachers or 63% and cycle II there were 8 teachers or 100%. This increase in the implementation of supervision using panel discussion techniques is an effective way for school principals to improve teachers' abilities in compiling learning tools

Abstract

This classroom action research is based on thematic learning in class V of SDN Gisikdrono 01 Semarang City. Based on the teaching experience carried out by researchers, it is known that several factors are assumed to be the cause of low thematic learning outcomes, namely a) Subject matter that is still considered difficult for children. b) The learning process is less interesting, c) students only rely on memorization without knowing how to read correctly. Judging from the completeness of students' learning with KKM 70 in several daily tests on the business sub-theme around me last year, of the 27 students, only 11 completed and 16 did not complete, the students' incompleteness lies in the students' inability to understand the material in the sub-theme. the body's way of processing clean air from the respiratory system in humans. The problem of low results must be addressed immediately and teachers need to reflect on their performance. Efforts to improve learning outcomes. Efforts to improve thematic learning outcomes in the sub-theme of environmental conservation efforts, including through Numbered Head Together (NHT) type cooperative learning, including through NHT type cooperative learning. The results of the research show that there are thematic learning outcomes for the sub-theme of environmental conservation efforts using the NHT type cooperative learning model in Class V students at SDN Gisikdrono 01 Semarang City, even semester of the 2022/2023 school year, this can be seen from the increase per cycle, where pre-cycle there were 12 students or 44.4% who experienced an increase in cycle I, namely there were 17 students or 63.0% and in cycle II there were 22 students or 81.5%. An increase also occurred in students' learning activity, where in cycle I there were 16 students or 59%, there was an increase in cycle II, namely there were 23 students or 85%, which was in accordance with the specified indicators, namely 80%.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problem of less than optimal leadership of school principals, teacher compensation and teacher motivation at SMPS Sub-rayon 3 Jepara district. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze: (1) the influence of the principal's transformational leadership on the quality of education; (2) the influence of compensation on the quality of education; (3) the influence of teacher work motivation on the quality of education; (4) the influence of the principal's transformational leadership, compensation, teacher work motivation together on the quality of education at SMPS Sub-rayon 3 Jepara district. This research approach is quantitative research with an ex post facto non-experimental type of research. The population in this study were SMPS teachers in Sub-rayon 3 Jepara district with a sample of 139 people using proportional random sampling techniques. The data collection method uses a questionnaire method. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis, requirements testing and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression with the SPSS 20 program. Based on the research results, it was found that: (1) there is no significant influence of the principal's transformational leadership on the quality of education at SMPS Sub-rayon 3 Jepara. (2) there is an influence of compensation on the quality of education at SMPS Sub-rayon 3 Jepara with a sig value less than the probability, namely 0.015 < 0.05. (3) there is a simultaneous influence of work motivation on the quality of education with a value of 0.000<0.05 and an influence of 11%. (4) there is a simultaneous influence of transformational leadership variables, compensation and work motivation of 12.9%. The principal's transformational leadership variable provides an effective contribution (SE) of -0.00594%, compensation is 2.95% and work motivation provides an effective contribution (SE) of 9.97% with a total effective contribution of 12.914%. Furthermore, the principal leadership variable provides a relative contribution (SR) of -0.046%, compensation is 22.8% and work motivation provides a relative contribution (SR) of 77.28% with a total relative contribution of 100%. It is recommended that school principals improve and understand transformational leadership, teacher compensation and teacher work motivation in realizing quality education.

Abstract

This research focuses on: (1) the conceptual skills of the principal in creating an effective school at SMP Negeri 1 Jepara; (2) the human relations skills of the principal in creating an effective school at SMP Negeri 1 Jepara; (3) The technical skills of the principal in creating an effective school at SMP Negeri 1 Jepar. This research approach is qualitative research by extracting data using the WOS method (interviews, observation and documentation). Use of data analysis with data triangulation. Based on the research results, it was found that the principal of SMP Negeri 1 Jepara has the following managerial skills: (1) concept skills (analysis ability, ability to think rationally, ability to form concepts; (2) human relations skills (communication skills, motivation skills, trust building skills) and (3) the principal's technical skills (ability to apply knowledge, skill in using methods, ability to utilize infrastructure) at SMP Negeri 1 Jepara work well in creating an effective school (professional leadership, realizing vision, mission and shared goals, effective management strategies effective and create a conducive school culture. This research suggests that school principals can understand and develop the leadership skills of school principal managers in creating effective schools and for future research research can be carried out on the influence of school manager leadership dimensions on effective schools.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the profile of students' science learning motivation at MTs Muhammadiyah Al Manar Demak which implements a Pondok Pesantren-based curriculum. Through a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, data was collected through a questionnaire which includes three main indicators: students' understanding of the meaning of career (Value of Career), level of motivation to learn science (Science Motivation), and interest in science subjects (Academic Self Concept IPA ). The research results reveal that the majority of students have a deep understanding of the reasons for choosing their career with a percentage of 83%, and their motivation to learn science tends to be high with a percentage of 45.71%, with the majority of students showing good interest in science subjects with a percentage of 57%. These findings provide valuable insight into the factors that influence students' science learning motivation in Islamic boarding school environments. These results can be used as a basis for developing more effective and supportive learning strategies in improving student learning achievement in science, especially in madrasas with Islamic boarding school-based curricula.
