Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of accounting system effectiveness and accountant competence on the quality of financial reports, as well as to test the role of Accurate software as a moderating variable at PT Global Danapati Niaga (Blibli OMG). The research method uses a survey-based quantitative approach, with data processing through multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results show that accounting system effectiveness is proven to contribute positively and significantly to the quality of financial reports, indicated by a coefficient of 0.29 with a significance of 0.000. Accountant competence also has a positive and significant effect, with a coefficient of 0.34 and a significance of 0.000. These findings strengthen that system capabilities and human resource expertise are the main foundations in producing quality reports. Moderation analysis reveals that Accurate software is also able to strengthen the relationship between accounting system effectiveness and accountant competence with the quality of financial reports. This is reflected in the significance value of the X1×Z interaction of 0.007 and X2×Z of 0.006. Simultaneously, the research model remains valid and significant (F = 6.234; p = 0.006), confirming that both independent variables are important determinants in improving the quality of financial reporting. Overall, this study emphasizes that companies need to prioritize strengthening accounting systems and developing accountant competencies as key strategies in improving the quality of financial reporting. Meanwhile, the use of Accurate software is more appropriately positioned as an operational support tool, rather than as a factor capable of strengthening the relationship between the main research variables.

Abstract

The issue of state finance and the separation of state assets in SOEs lies at the intersection of criminal law on corruption, state financial law, and state corporate law, so that the relationship between regimes must be arranged so that corporate losses are not automatically treated as state losses or vice versa. The reform of the 2025 SOE Law emphasizes corporate autonomy that is supervised through audits and the principle of lex specialis. Research Objectives Analyze the legal status of separated state assets in SOEs within the framework of state finances and examine the effect of such separation on the limits of liability for state losses. The research method used is normative juridical based on secondary data with a statutory and conceptual approach. Data were collected through a literature study of the 1945 Constitution, the Corruption Law, the State Finance Law, the 2025 SOE Law, and decisions, then analyzed qualitatively. Research Results The status of separated assets is layered on the horizon of permanent ownership including state finances according to Law 17/2003, while on the horizon of management it becomes corporate capital according to Law 1/2025 in conjunction with Law 16/2025 and the principles of good corporate governance. Losses from state-owned enterprises (SOEs) transform into state losses if they are proven to have reduced state fiscal capacity due to fiduciary violations outside the business judgment rule. Furthermore, the separation of assets creates a multi-layered accountability regime based on fault-based liability and positions the SOE Law as a lex specialis, requiring both corporate and fiscal tests before the Corruption Eradication Law is applied as the ultimum remedium.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and lifestyle on saving interest, with gender as a moderating variable, among customers of state-owned banks (BUMN) in Palangka Raya City. The study is motivated by the phenomenon of low saving interest despite the increasing use of banking services. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to active customers of Bank BRI, Bank Mandiri, Bank BNI, and Bank BTN in Palangka Raya City. The collected data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on saving interest. Lifestyle also has a positive and significant effect on saving interest. However, gender does not moderate the relationship between financial literacy and saving interest, nor the relationship between lifestyle and saving interest. These findings indicate that financial literacy and lifestyle play an important role in encouraging saving interest among customers of state-owned banks, regardless of gender differences. This study is expected to contribute to behavioral finance literature and provide practical insights for banking institutions in designing strategies to enhance customers’ saving interest.

Abstract

This study investigates Generation Z consumers’ purchase intention toward organic agricultural products in Padang City by examining the influence of digital, economic, social, and perceptual factors. The research topic is important due to the increasing global demand for organic food and the need to understand the behavioral determinants that shape healthy consumption patterns among young populations. The study hypothesizes that these four variables significantly affect purchase intention. A quantitative approach was employed using an online survey distributed to 73 Generation Z respondents, and data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that all variables significantly contribute to purchase intention, with consumer perception emerging as the strongest predictor, followed by digital and social factors, while economic constraints remain a major barrier. The model explains 62% of the variance in purchase intention, indicating substantial predictive power. These findings highlight that health-related beliefs, digital exposure, and social norms play a critical role in shaping healthy consumption behavior among young consumers. The study contributes to health sciences by demonstrating that promoting organic food consumption requires integrating health education with digital communication and socio-economic considerations

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Role Clarity and Communication Quality on Organizational Performance with Job Satisfaction as a mediating variable in MSMEs in Medan City. Field phenomena indicate that most MSMEs still face problems related to unclear tasks, ineffective communication flows, and low job satisfaction that impact performance achievement. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method on 155 MSME respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) to test the direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results show that Role Clarity and Communication Quality have a positive and significant effect on Job Satisfaction. In addition, Job Satisfaction significantly affects Organizational Performance. Both independent variables also have a direct effect on Organizational Performance, but the indirect effect through Job Satisfaction shows a stronger contribution. These findings confirm that psychological aspects and work relationships play an important role in improving MSME performance. Practically, this study provides recommendations for MSMEs to strengthen role clarity, improve communication quality, and prioritize job satisfaction to encourage improved organizational performance. Theoretically, the research findings support and expand the study of organizational behavior in the context of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study analyzes the capacity of the Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) and Pemadam kebakaran (Damkar) of Sukabumi City in enforcing regulations Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) trading in prohibited areas, as stipulated in Sukabumi City Regional Regulation No. 10 of 2013, Pasal 21. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through interviews with officials (Cikole, Diskumindag), PKL, residents of R. Syamsudin SH Street, observations, and documentation. Policy capacity was measured using five dimensions from Horton et al. (2003): human resources, infrastructure-technology-financial resources, strategic leadership, program management and implementation processes, and collaboration networks. Findings reveal limitations in human resources (personnel shortages, multifunctional rotations, short operational hours); outdated infrastructure (aging vehicles, limited CCTV, reliance on e-lapor); adaptive strategic leadership via daily briefings and school socialization despite flexible relocations; phased management (persuasion, tiered warnings, UMKM coaching); and inter-agency networks (with Dishub, Police, sub-districts) requiring enhanced joint sweeps in high-risk zones like Ahmad Yani and seven prohibited streets. Key challenges include vendor resistance (high relocation costs), banner damage, budget constraints, and low e-lapor awareness. Recommendations emphasize training enhancements, infrastructure renewal, consistent evaluation cycles, monthly meetings, and digital socialization for sustainable enforcement.

Abstract

Religious moderation is a crucial approach in maintaining social harmony amid religious and cultural diversity in Indonesia, but its implementation still faces serious challenges in the form of intolerance and radicalism. This article examines the relevance of Ibn Miskawaih's concept of the middle path (al-ikhtiyar al-awsat) in the book Tahdhib al-Akhlaq as an ethical foundation for strengthening this moderation, while also proposing a “Curriculum of Love” as a transformative pedagogical approach. The thoughts of emphasizes that moral virtue lies in the balance between two extremes and the purification of the soul (tahdhib al-nafs), which in the context of Islamic education in Indonesia, these values can be integrated through a character-based curriculum to shape an inclusive attitude towards religion. This article argues that the integration of the values of compassion (mahabbah) and moral balance is essential to address the challenge of intolerance, where the “Curriculum of Love” serves as an instrument to internalize religious moderation through an affective approach that goes beyond mere textual understanding. Through a literature review, this study concludes that the synergy between Ibn Miskawaih's middle path ethics and the Curriculum of Love can encourage the creation of “Active Tolerance” and stronger social cohesion, enabling educational institutions to produce a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also highly empathetic towards diversity.
