Abstract

This study focuses on a comparative analysis of service quality at the Public Service Malls (MPP) in Serang City and Cilegon City. Research problems include differences in the number of operating service agencies, differences in the value of the Public Satisfaction Index, and disparities in the number of public consultations and complaints at both MPPs. The theory used is SERVQUAL according to Parasuraman in Tjiptono (2016:153) with five dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. The research method used is quantitative with inductive techniques, then the non-probability sampling technique uses the accidental sampling method through questionnaires to 98 respondents at the MPP in Serang City and 100 respondents at the MPP in Cilegon City. The validity of the data was tested by Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and Hypothesis Test using Independent Sample T-Test. The results of the hypothesis test show that the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted, with a significance value of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.001 < α = 0.10. Thus, the results of this study indicate a significant difference between the quality of public services of the two MPPs. The quality of public services in the Serang City MPP reached 76%, which is in the Good category. Meanwhile, the Cilegon City MPP achieved 83% which is in the Very Good category. Suggestions were given for the Serang City MPP to improve the cleanliness of its facilities and service flow, and for the Cilegon City MPP to improve the punctuality of service start times.

Abstract

The electric power system on isolated islands like Ambon Island still relies on oil-fired power plants, which results in high operating costs, low efficiency, and significant carbon emissions. This study evaluates the utilization of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) through regasification facilities as energy gas storage to support gas engine power plants, with the aim of optimizing power plant operations and reducing electricity system operating costs. The analysis was conducted using a Dynamic Economic Dispatch (DED) approach based on Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP), considering the technical limitations of the power plant, ramp rate, power balance, and LNG regasification capacity within a 24-hour operating horizon. Simulation results show that converting fuel oil to LNG at the PLTMG and BMPP units reduces daily operating costs by Rp306 million, equivalent to a savings of 12.67%, and shifts the role of gas generators as baseload and reduces dependence on high-cost diesel generators. Sensitivity analysis shows that investment in regasification facilities remains feasible as long as daily fixed costs are below the break-even point of Rp806 million per day. These findings support the achievement of SDGs 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDGs 13 (Climate Action) by increasing energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and strengthening energy security in the archipelago.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the food and beverage (F&B) industry, particularly in the seafood segment, has intensified competition and heightened the importance of effective digital marketing strategies. This study employs a case study approach to investigate the decline in revenue experienced by Mahakam Seafood, attributed to suboptimal digital marketing implementation and limited human resource capacity. The research aims to develop a structured Instagram marketing strategy to enhance promotional effectiveness and improve sales performance. The strategy design is grounded in the Hierarchy of Effects and Lovemarks frameworks, supported by the application of SMART Goals and the Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning (STP) model to ensure strategic alignment and measurable outcomes. The research process includes situational analysis, development of content pillars and content planning, creation of visual and communication guidelines, preparation of content mock-ups, and formulation of an implementation and budget plan. The findings provide a systematic and practical social media strategy framework that can improve the consistency and effectiveness of Instagram marketing activities, offering managerial implications for small and medium-sized enterprises in the F&B sector.
