Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Montessori method, learning outcomes and things that influence the implementation of the Montessori method in improving Civics learning outcomes at SD Negeri 4 Dongos. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations and documentation. The analysis method used is crossite analysis. The results of the analysis showed that the implementation of the Montessori method in Civics subjects of grade I semester 1 students of SD Negeri 4 Dongos was quite good. The teacher provides a carefully scientific environment and gives children direction or tutorials in that environment. Teachers constantly monitor children's growth and record their progress so that they can design children's activities to prepare for the next development, step by step. The learning outcomes of Civics at SD Negeri 4 Dongos class I semester 1 of the 2023/2024 academic year are quite good. Factors that influence the implementation of the Montessori method include a negative environment that cannot make student activities to learn, lack of parental supervision for example when students are not in school and lack of attention from teachers other than Civics subject teachers who view Civics subjects as just an ordinary lesson

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematical problem solving ability of grade VII-F students of SMP Negeri 1 Tambolak City on integer material using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research is qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques use tests and observation of students' ability to solve questions and interviews. Analysis of students' mathematical problem-solving skills using polya work steps. The results of data analysis show that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve students' mathematical problem solving skills on class VII integer material at SMP Negeri 1 Tambolaka City. This can be seen when students solve a given problem, students understand the problem, then plan and implement the plan and write down the answer step by step using the appropriate and precise formula. In addition, students explain answers with appropriate reasons. However, there are some students who do not meet the first and fourth indicators, namely rewriting what is known, being asked from the question and looking back at the answers.

Abstract

Economic development is a crucial aspect of a country's growth and progress. The role of entrepreneurship has increasingly been recognized as a key factor in accelerating economic development. This research aims to analyze the dynamic interaction between entrepreneurship, education, and human resources in the context of economic development. This study is a qualitative literature review. Data for this literature review will be obtained through searching relevant scholarly articles and conference papers from the Google Scholar database. The search will be limited to the time span between 2010 and 2024 to ensure the freshness and relevance of information. Keywords used entrepreneurship, economic development, education, human resources. The results of the study indicate that entrepreneurship is not only a driver of economic development but also a pathway to achieving inclusive, sustainable, and beneficial economic growth for society as a whole. Thus, a holistic approach involving education, human resource development, and appropriate policy support is needed to enhance the role of entrepreneurship in economic development. Governments, educational institutions, the private sector, and society as a whole need to collaborate to create an environment that supports entrepreneurial growth and minimizes barriers to the success of new businesses

Abstract

Reading is a major focus in lower education, especially at primary school level.  This study discusses the factors of initial reading difficulties faced by students as well as the role of teachers in solving reading challenges.  Research shows that groups of students with reading difficulties tend to have lower learning outcomes.  Internal and external factors such as students' physical condition, family environment and school environment are factors that hinder reading.  The teacher's contribution in solving reading problems is very crucial.  Teachers are not only instructors, but also mentors or guides, motivators, and facilitators.  The research method uses literature study, where the data collection system in this research is obtained from literature analysis through book and journal references that are relevant to the problems identified.  Relevant research results include the role of teachers in overcoming reading difficulties, such as being a demonstrator, class manager, facilitator, and evaluator.  Factors causing reading difficulties include the student's physical condition, lack of family attention, and an unsupportive school environment

Abstract

There are several things that must be prepared before learning and after learning in an independent curriculum with differentiated learning and assessment. The aim of this research is to find out how effective the implementation of the independent curriculum through PBL is on the learning outcomes of Phase B elementary school students. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a type of literature study where we conducted research by summarizing several materials sourced from journals, books, and other sources related to knowledge about the curriculum and its implementation in learning in Indonesia on student learning outcomes. From the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model, it can be seen that the learning outcomes of students have increased because the Problem Based Learning model is a problem-based learning model that is directed at students to increase their activity during the learning process and improve students' critical thinking skills which can solve existing problems so that new ideas or thoughts emerge in solving the problem

Abstract

The low motivation and economic learning achievement of class X.2 students at SMAN 3 Ogan Komering Ulu is caused by teachers not involving students enough in teaching and learning activities. The learning process is dominated by teachers, so students tend to be passive and ultimately result in low student learning outcomes. To overcome this problem, efforts were made to apply a learning model, namely PBL. This research aims to increase the motivation and learning achievement of class This research is classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles, with data collection techniques used: written tests, questionnaires, and observation. Data analysis is guided by Descriptive Statistics analysis with percentages. The research results showed that the learning motivation of students in cycle I was 61.69% and cycle II was 72.78%. Meanwhile, students' learning achievement in cycle I obtained an average score of 59.48% and in cycle II an average score of 70.81% was obtained, resulting in an average increase of 11.32%. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model can increase students' motivation and learning achievement in Economics lessons in class X.2 SMA Negeri 3 Ogan Komering Ulu for the 2022/2023 academic year

Abstract

Mathematics learning aims to enhance problem-solving skills encompassing problem comprehension, method creation, execution, and result analysis. It covers numbers, geometry, calculations, and data processing. Low achievement in mathematics stems from inadequate understanding and reliance on arithmetic as a tool. Student disinterest further hampers learning. Although students may solve problems correctly, they often struggle to explain their reasoning, as observed in a class III student at SD Negeri 1 Pucangan. Student engagement is crucial in gauging learning motivation. Cooperative learning, particularly the power of two methods, fosters student collaboration, facilitating better comprehension. This approach enhances learning quality, promoting active and creative participation. Implementing the power of two cooperative learning models in class III at SD N 1 Pucangan improved student activity, shifting from adequate to good. The method's effectiveness in enhancing mathematics learning quality is evident through increased student engagement and activity levels

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe learning styles and describe solutions in presenting learning in accordance with the learning styles of students of the Indonesian Education Study Program, Weetebula Catholic University. This type of research is survey research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The subject of this study was a student of PBI Study Program, Weetebula Catholic University. The data collection technique used in this study was questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it was found that students who tended to visual learning style as much as 53.74%, auditorial learning style as much as 29.43%, and kinesthetic learning style as much as 16.83%. The results of these findings show that the most dominant type of learning style of Indonesian Education Study Program students is the visual learning style type. Lecturers in presenting learning the main type of learning used is the visual type of learning. To accommodate the other two learning styles, learning needs to be supported by auditorial and kinesthetic learning types. Research related to learning styles is important. The results of the research can be information for teachers or lecturers in making learning designs that are in accordance with the learning styles of students so that students can absorb the material optimally
