Abstract

This study aims to identify publications on Training Needs Analysis (TNA) through interesting data visualization. The source of SCOPUS meta data was collected from publications in the form of the keyword 'Training Needs Analysis'. The database obtained was then analyzed and visualized using the bibliometrix package in R Software. The results of the analysis were interpreted based on performance analysis of citation and publication metrics, and science mapping based on co-citation, co-word analysis and also bibliographic coupling analysis. A total of 276 publications were selected following the research criteria in the period 1984 to 2024. The results of the study show that countries with English as the language of instruction still dominate the number of scientific publications, including several authors who are the most influential on the theme of Training Needs Analysis (TNA). The latest publication trends also show an increase in interest in research related to TNA with a high level of collaboration, both between authors and internationally, indicating that this topic attracts attention across disciplines and geographic regions. The relevance of the research to the development of theory and practice is seen from the high average citations and the use of modern analytical technology contained in keywords and collaborations, from initially focusing on health training expanding to general training management and then returning to mental health based on 3 analysis time spans.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the nature of human beings (students) as pedagogic beings. This article uses the literature study method to explore the concept of human beings (students) as pedagogical beings. The literature review process begins with the identification of relevant sources, including journal articles, books, conference papers, and peer-reviewed scientific articles that discuss the essence of humanity and its relationship with education. Data analysis techniques using critical analysis are used to evaluate various theoretical frameworks that discuss the relationship between humanity and education. The results of the analysis show that humans as pedagogic creatures are humans who have the potential to be educated and educated, and the nature of humans (learners) as pedagogic creatures, based on nature that has the basic potential of hearing, vision, and heart as instruments in the educational process. Humans are creatures that can be educated and educated (homo educandum). The educational process that makes human beings the subject and object of education. Students as pedagogical creatures will describe that they have various characteristics and potentials that need to be understood in the context of education. This understanding is essential to creating a learning environment that supports their psychic and spiritual development optimally

Abstract

The role of teachers in developing students' critical thinking skills has become increasingly crucial in 21st-century learning. This study aims to review various strategies employed by teachers to enhance critical thinking skills using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data were collected from 13 peer-reviewed international journals, selected based on their relevance to the topic, research methods, and impact on students' critical thinking skills. The data analysis technique used was thematic analysis, which allowed for identifying patterns and key findings from previous studies. The results indicate that Project-Based Learning (PBL), group discussions, and the integration of digital technologies such as Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence are effective strategies for fostering students' critical thinking. However, implementing these strategies faces challenges, including limited technological infrastructure, insufficient teacher training, and educational policies that do not fully support innovative learning methods. Therefore, strengthening teacher training, curriculum reform, and improving access to technology is essential to ensure these strategies can be effectively and sustainably implemented in the education system.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Hybrid Learning in enhancing students’ conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. The research method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), analyzing nine studies published in accredited journals relevant to technology-based learning. Data sources were obtained from national and international journals discussing the implementation of Hybrid Learning, particularly those utilizing Google Classroom. The data analysis technique involved identification, screening, critical evaluation, and synthesis of findings from each study to gain a comprehensive understanding of the effectiveness of this approach on student learning outcomes. The findings indicate that Hybrid Learning provides flexibility in the learning process, allowing students to access materials anytime while enhancing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the implementation of Google Classroom facilitates better interaction between students and teachers, thereby increasing learning motivation. The study also found that combining Hybrid Learning with Problem-Based Learning (PBL) yields more significant improvements in problem-solving skills compared to conventional methods. In conclusion, Hybrid Learning supported by Google Classroom is an effective teaching strategy and is recommended for implementation across various educational levels to improve the quality of technology-based learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe students' ability to understand mathematical concepts from the independent learning of SPLDV material. The type of research used in this study is descriptive. The form of research used in this study is a qualitative form. The data collection technique used is interview guidelines. questionnaires, tests and research documents. The analysis steps in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study, it can be concluded that students with high understanding abilities can solve problems with several methods/ways. Students with moderate understanding abilities can only use one method/way in solving problems that are remembered or understood and students can state what is known and asked from the problem, can make variable examples and make mathematical models, then students understand the steps to solve the problem but students do not associate concepts internally and externally so that errors occur in the calculation process. Low-ability students are able to understand the problem and can state what is known and asked from the question, but students are confused about solving the problem and are confused about what method to use to solve the problem.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of different learning strategies on students' basic abilities. This study used a quantitative experimental design with a single-group pre-test and post-test methodology. This study used a single-group pre-test and post-test design. The pre-test and post-test had 10 multiple-choice questions and 5 essay questions. The data analysis technique used was to conduct a hypothesis test of the N-Gain test. This study was conducted at SMP Negeri 01 Sungai Kakap, including a sample of 28 students from class VIII A. The results of the pre-test post-test normality assessment showed a normal distribution, with a p-value of 0.155, above the significance threshold of 0.05, which was 0.073. The N-Gain result was 0.4614, indicating a substantial gain. The paired sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.000, which was less than 0.005, resulting in the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). The t-test revealed a substantial impact of different learning approaches on students' learning outcomes in spatial form.

Abstract

This study employs the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, conducted in one cycle. The researcher follows the cycle stages, which include pre-implementation, planning, classroom action execution, observation, and reflection, to assess the improvement in students' learning interest. The objective of this research is to determine whether the Make A Match model, supported by digital media, can enhance the learning interest of seventh-grade students at MTs Puspa Bangsa Cluring, consisting of 16 students, in the topic of sets. Data collection techniques utilized by the researcher include learning outcome tests with item validity testing, reliability testing of cognitive test results, differential power testing for each item, and difficulty testing for each question. Additionally, observations and field notes are conducted. The data analysis results indicate that mathematics instruction using the Make A Match model significantly improves students' learning interest, with mastery scores increasing from 31.25% (pre-test) to 87.5% (post-test). Furthermore, students' interest in learning, based on their activity levels, is assessed at 80.56%, categorized as good.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Counting Board as a learning tool to enhance the understanding of addition and subtraction concepts among Phase A elementary school students (SD/MI). The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The counting board was validated by media and material experts, resulting in a very valid score (90%) and practical score (88%), supported by a 100% positive response from teachers, indicating the media's high feasibility for classroom use. The implementation involved small group trials (8 students) and large group trials (28 students), with learning outcomes analyzed using the N-Gain Score. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding, with a high category score (0.77) in the small group and a moderate category score (0.69) in the large group. Furthermore, 98.46% of first-grade students and 97.9% of second-grade students reported that the counting board motivated and facilitated their learning. These findings demonstrate that the Counting Board is not only valid and practical but also effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes for addition and subtraction concepts.
