Abstract

Education is a fundamental right for every individual, including Children with Special Needs (CSN) such as speech-impaired and physically disabled children. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method to analyze the role of family and education in supporting CSN, based on narratives from Denny Sumargo’s podcast. Data collection techniques include observation, transcription, and literature review. The findings reveal that the family plays a crucial role in building self-confidence, providing emotional support, and ensuring equitable access to education for CSN. Additionally, an adaptive inclusive education system contributes significantly to the optimal development of CSN. These findings emphasize the importance of synergy between families and educational institutions in creating a supportive environment for CSN

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence listening skills have on the short story writing skills of grade V students at SDN Juluk II Saronggi. This study uses a non-experimental quantitative method approach. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire or questionnaire. This research was tested using regression (simple) which is a statistical quantitative technique in predicting the value of an output of a bound variable based on one independent variable in a regression equation. Data analysis using IBM SPSS version 21 statistics. The results of this study obtained the results of the t-test of 4,828, showing that the variable X of listening skills had an effect on the significance of variable Y, namely the writing skills of short story writing of grade V students of SDN Juluk II, Saronggi District. The results of the data analysis obtained had a significance of 0.000 < out of 0.05, meaning that the variable X of listening skills had an effect on the significance of the variable Y of short story writing skills of grade V students of SDN Juluk II, Saronggi District. From these results, it is important for students to pay attention to common factors that often occur, then look for ways to practice listening and writing short story writing skills, so that the desired goals can be achieved properly.

Abstract

This study aims to develop more interactive and interesting learning evaluation media for fourth grade elementary school students in Pancasila Education learning. The evaluation media developed is based on educational games using the wordwall.net platform with the open the box game type. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used by the researcher are observation, documentation interviews. Researchers can collect data by conducting documentation and direct observation in the field. The resulting data was analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The overall validation results obtained a percentage of 94.8%, of which the validity of the material was 94.28%, the validity of the language was 96%, and the media validation was 94.28%. The results of practicality at the SDN 26 Sungai Nanam test school obtained a percentage of 91.21%. In the first research school at SDN 02 Sungai Nanam obtained a percentage of 93.34% then in the second research school at SDN 18 Sungai Nanam obtained a percentage of 97.71%. The effectiveness of learning media was very successful, as seen from 94.73%, of students in the trial school who achieved learning completeness. For learning completeness, it managed to reach 82.60% in the first research school and 88% in the second research school. Thus, it can be concluded that the Wordwall-based evaluation media in grade IV of Elementary School is declared valid, practical and effective to use.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the Indonesian learning outcomes of 1st grade students of SD 3 Peganjaran through the application of a Group Investigation type cooperative learning model. Group Investigation is recommended as an innovative alternative to improve the quality of Indonesian learning in elementary schools because it involves active students and fosters independent thinking, communication skills, and cooperative skills. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (PTK) design with the Kurt Lewin model which includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research was carried out in two cycles in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The method of data collection through summative tests that are quantitatively descriptive analyzed to measure student learning completeness. The resulting data was analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the study showed a significant increase in each cycle. The pre-cycle showed learning completeness of 44%, increased to 75% in cycle I, and reached 100% in cycle II. This improvement shows that the group investigation model is effective in improving student learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Smart Application Creator media with the Problem Based Learning model on student learning outcomes in learning Pancasila Education in class V Gugus II Lengayang District. The method used is quantitative research with a quasi-experiment design. The sample was taken using the Probability Sampling technique, consisting of an experimental class (SDN 27 Pasar Kambang Class VB) and a control class (Class VA). Data was collected through objective tests in the form of multiple choice. Hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample T-Test. This t-test was used to compare the average values of the experimental and control groups. The results showed that the mean value of the experimental class was 78.27 with a standard deviation of 17.81, while the mean value of the control class was 73.51 with a standard deviation of 14.15. The t-test shows the t-count of 2.27, which is greater than the t-table, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using Smart Application Creator media with the Problem Based Learning model on student learning outcomes. This finding shows the importance of applying innovative media and learning models to improve learning outcomes in the classroom.

Abstract

This study analyzes gender representation in Wonder Woman (2017) and Black Widow (2021), two important works that introduce female characters as main protagonists in the superhero genre. Although both feature strong, independent, and agency-filled female characters, this analysis shows that both films are still influenced by patriarchal elements that objectify women through the representation of the bodies and visual appearance of the main female characters. Using the male gaze theory introduced by Laura Mulvey (1975) and the perspective of gender analysis in media, this study aims to reveal how, despite efforts to empower women, visual depictions still highlight the sexual dimension of the female characters' bodies, reminiscent of visual structures that tend to focus on male fantasy. This study also discusses how these depictions remain trapped in a socio-cultural framework that perceives women in terms of physical beauty and sexual attractiveness. Using a qualitative approach, this study uses content analysis of key scenes in both films to trace gender representation and explore the narratives and characters that develop throughout the story. The results show that although there is room for empowerment and change in the superhero genre, women's bodies are still unavoidably objectified in these films. This research is expected to contribute to developing gender representation theory in film and offer further insight into the transformation of women's roles in Hollywood film narratives.
